"Now isn't the time for joking," Keno answered calmly as he stepped back from the set of tables. "Turns out Tali has a monkey of his own, probably as strong as Ravana, maybe even stronger, and a lot more efficient. This took five minutes tops." It seemed to him unnecessary to go into detail at just how powerful Taliman's bodyguard was. Should the bruises, bleeding, and broken bones not testify enough, then perhaps Jade was just better off not knowing.
"He's lucky I was around watching. I was supposed to be training." Indeed, the tiger looked the part too, but then again he always did. As opposed to his standard hat and scarf ensemble, he had chosen to go barefoot with black, probably the only other color he wore. The gi pants he wore were held fast by a simple drawstring which he tied in a hasty bow similar to the way children tie their shoes. The black men's tank he wore fit tight and emphasized the muscles around his shoulders and diminished the effect of the black stripes that ran down his arms like tattoos. At least they looked like body art now.
"There wouldn't happen to be anyone else here would there?" Likely not, he thought as he finished the question. The mage might stumble upon them if they were lucky, but her husband went to more remote places than he did for training. User was no good to anyone and he couldn't remember the last time he happened to see Sir Aaron. Deity might be around, but he had long since stopped associating with Keno about anything that didn't involve Jade. That was a fun fight, he thought smirking, wondering when he'd get to fight her again. It was a silly thought considering the fact that neither of them were in any real shape to be sparring, nor did they likely have the luxury.
Drawing a chair, he decided to sit, for lack of anything else to do. It was certainly not the way he had expected to start off a seemingly normal day. Next time he and User fought, he was gonna have to cripple the boy good. No way some mindless droid of a monkey was gonna whoop User's a** better than Keno.

"I remember that guy. He showed up with Taliman when User and I sparred last time."
She never took her gaze off of User, her green eyes watching intensely for any sign of things getting worse. Her hands were spaced evenly over his body, one over the upper part of his chest, the other over his pelvis. Each digit glowed with a golden light, the warm healing energy slowly spreading over the injured Saiya-jin. What in the world got into User's head, to go and challenge Taliman head on when that brute was there with him?!
"Deity is asleep upstairs, Sir Aaron is out right now, and the new girl has taken up residence for now in my old room. I don't know if she's here or not. We could really use Pop right now, though."
Jade sighed to herself, watching as User's wounds very slowly began to mend themselves. He was really hurt. Things had been pretty quiet lately, maybe he just had a battle itch to scratch. But why Tali, of all people...? User was smarter than that, and Sabrina must be worried sick about him.
"You idiot...." She said to the unconscious warrior.

He opened his eyes briefly, feeling a pain that was unique - and incredible. Broken bones suddenly snapping back into place, skin regrowing at an unnatural rate. Oh this was pain like never before felt - but there wasn't even the slightest suggestion that User was feeling it. Too tough and proud to show any sort of discomfort.
However, the pain was drowning him back into unconsciousness as soon as it was bringing him out of it. He muttered a few words in his delirium, his daughter's name, calling KenoTao a fool, something about Taliman dying, and other gargled, unintelligible phrases that would make no sense to anyone's ears.
There was the slightest smirk on his face directed at Jade, despite all the pain. His last words - barely a coherent murmur - sounded very weak but sure, as they were as cocky and proud as User could make them: "Not... idiot..."
And then he was out again.

[[ Pretty nicely. School just started up again for me, and I'm looking forward to my senior year. The 'major RP' has caught my attention, also. I highly doubt I'd be able to participate unless our service is renewed, but I'd like to.
