OOC: The balance I was referring to was the balance of the swords. If you've ever used them or watched them in action, the blocking sword usually yields a bit on impact, depending a great deal on where the it is struck. If you allow it to yield too much, then you risk still being cut.

Feeling pressure coming from both the left and right, a smile creased on the mage's lips.
Steadying her body position she relaxed her own counter pressure on her own swords, twisting her blades to the flat of their edges and dragged them back. In a single fluid movment she had already drawn both swords back and thrusted their hilts towards the abdomens of both men. Whether her attacks hit or not, they were too close to continue advancing or apply pressure.
Shrugging her shoulder back she proceeded to reset her swords back to her sides and fall back away from the close confines of the clash for a better vantage point.
