The solitary bell of the Orion's central pillar elevator preempted its opening doors. Striding out into the main corridor, the emerald haired woman could not help but fight the feeling of deja-vu. Stuffing her gloved hands into her pockets she sighed finding the large room starkly empty as it usually was.
"My goodness...why is it always so quiet in here?"
Sighing she clasped her fingers behind her wandering deeper into the area. Feeling the need to try something new she had forgone her casual attire of late to try something new.
Today she was clad in pair of white dress trousers and a light blood red dress shirt with a burgundy vest. Completing her ensemble she had tipped a white fedora over her face in a playful manner.
"Silly girl...all dressed up and no where to go.""
Frowning she made her way to the lounge slumping atop a couch. Sighing once again she decided to view her surveillance sphere. Normally she felt awkward viewing, but at least it was something to do. Mumbling the incantation a translucent orb crackled into existence flashing the different views of the club.
"Dead as usua...."
"Seems I'm mistaken."
Catching sight of what appeared to be Keno and Ichigo's son from the future seemingly training in the arena she smirked. She knew little of the young man, but just observing his mannerisms and behavior could give incredible clues of the future. Truthfully she could likely scry a possible future, but there was no definite to doing as such. A person existing outside the normal time stream was something else entirely.
"Oooh! He'll do..."
Kicking up to her feet she headed for the arena, the distance melting away within moments. As stepped into the stadium, the steady pounding of a sandbag resounded in the air. Double taking at the sight of the young man she bit her lower lip, the realization of how hot his build was. Forgetting her prior notions she smirked playfully.
"Bored as well?"
"What hell am I thinking? I'm old enough to be his mother...well at least in his time line. Well it doesn't hurt to look..."
((Yay for slow post speed. Not to mention a mediocre post.))

"Hmm?" Slightly startled, Kenta's left fist pounded into the sandbag as he peered around it toward the entrance. To his mild surprise, it was Miss Pith who had come to accompany him this time. In the most recent past, her's was probably the strongest lingering signature about the club, save his uncle who was constantly about when no one else was.
His ears perked up as he corrected his posture and approached her slowly, tail wagging with the enthusiasm of not beating the boredom alone. Now that he was no longer pushing himself, the sweat on his brow grabbed his attention. It hadn't occurred to him that he was working himself that hard. That was nothing to worry about though.
"Miss Pith...I guess you could say that. The way things have been going I probably chose the worst time in my father's earlier life to try and talk to him. Doesn't help that he only seems to want to get rid of me when he is around." The irritation hung heavily on his voice as always when he thought about his father, and he wasn't trying much to do anything about it. Nothing except change the subject.
"Anyway," he tried to ignore the fact that she had - and maybe still was - mildly ogling at him by keeping his line of sight just to her right. "I naturally assumed no one would be around. Dunno why I bothered coming in the first place with that sort of thinking, but I felt I might has well keep myself in shape."
With a deep breath, he took her hand and bowed, not wanting to hug her when he smelled all hot and sweaty. Her nose might not be as strong as his, but unpleasant odors had a way of making themselves known.
"So how are you today?"

Bowing in concert with the young man's greeting she tilted her head at his obvious distress.
"You came to this time period in order to talk with your father?"
Musing over the ramifications she returned to her original thought process deciding to delve further.
"Ah I suspect there must be some impedence keeping you from doing so during your time period..."
Gaining a thoughtful expression she continued with her line of thought.
"As I'm sure you aware of your father is a extremly secretive man, I must admit beyond mainly a mutual respect. I have yet to talk to him in length about much of anything. Thus I suspect he's more along the lines an individual who finds it difficult to articulate to those he's unfamiliar with."
Feeling presumptious she frowned to herself, wondering if she was throwing fuel on a already brewing fire. Not one to go half assed into a situation she continued on full tilt.
"Father or not, you are likely unfamiliar to him and thus he's likely not willing to talk to you one on one yet..."
Frowning further she shook her head.
"Oh pay me no mind, I think I may have stepped beyond my bounds."
Thinking along his previous direction she sighed.
"I feel like a gossip monger. I suppose that ties into the nature of mood for the day."
Crouching down in a defeated posture she tipped her fedora further over her face.

He remained silent for as long as he could, listening to his elder muse over the many reasons Kenta might find himself unable to communicate well with his father. It seemed simple enough the way she expressed things, but the young man wasn't ready to buy such an excuse so blindly. When she guessed that there was possibly a level of unfamiliarity between the father and son, he looked at her with a bit of shock and disbelief.
"No disrespect, but being his son, you would think he would be a lot more familiar with me when I grow up. I mean, in all seriousness, how unfamiliar can I be in the future?" He quickly bit his tongue, and probably halted his rising blood pressure in so doing. All things aside, he had to assume many things that made little sense for the time. He was, after all, not a familiar person in this time when his birth had not yet even been considered.
"Gossip helps pass the time," he said smiling, deciding to just let the subject rest as it was. If his father were as mysterious now as he would be then, there was little point in talking to anyone else - except maybe his aunt - about it. "It probably pays to know what information to reveal about the crowd we hang around though." The thought quickly sent him back to his own time where he was very aware of so many things that he feared talking about. For at least a few, things would happen soon and his interference might very well lead them to harm, or away from it, which could skew the entire world as he knew it. His very existence only became more burdensome because of the knowledge he had, but apparently the matter of his father was worth the risk.

Peering up at the Kitsune she looked at him catching sight of his expression knowing she had hit a nerve. Gnawing on her lower lip she listened to his reply, slowly rising to her full height.
"Knowledge is a burden isn't it? Having it rarely makes a subject easier to deal with. In turn it produces more questions than you had before. But perhaps in your search for answers the indirect approach will serve you better. The root begets the means."
Sucking her tongue she wondered if she was being too cryptic.
"Haha...sorry I'm proving to be a veritable train wreck of useless observations today."
Turning from the boy she sighed making her way over to seat slumpling languidly.
"What your doing here has already made its mark on your past. The phrase time heals all wounds is true in more than one sense."

[[ As I'd thought, then, I am both somewhat of a nerd and a geek. Don't quite fit into that definition of dweeb, though. Thank you, Epithany xD.
I implore anyone annoyed by my lack and lateness of post to forgive me, this borrowed laptop, and the 'borrowed' internet connection it's using. Unfortunately, I'm probably going to have to be focused elsewhere for a few days. ]]

[[ Heheh, 'buy' music. Okay, okay; I would buy a CD--had I the urge and the money--but not before I knew I liked it. I'd probably have to be interested in the artist/band beyond their music, and definitely beyond one or two songs. For some artists, though, I'd consider buying a CD before hearing any of it's tracks.
I should listen to more Disturbed... ]]

The most Kenta could do was look at Miss Pith when she spoke. Maybe it was because he was a bit worn, or maybe he genuinely didn't understand her, but whatever she said made little sense to him. He tried to appear normal, but his ears and tail did this joint twitching thing that he had little control over.
"How do you mean 'the indirect approach'?" If nothing else, he comprehended that she was possibly offering him some advice. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to interpret it. In fact he didn't know much how to interpret any of it, but he got the feeling that maybe he should have taken a bit more time to consider the ramifications of time travel before coming all the way here.

Sighing inwardly she smiled broadly at the pup.
"Sorry, the scholars tongue is a difficult one to grasp. I suppose being around so many stuffy wordsmiths has a way of wearing off on you."
Crossing her legs she twirled a emerald strand around her finger attempting to reiterate.
"I suppose what I mean by the indirect approach, would be...errr. Try finding out why father is so aloof. I believe that should turn up why he is so distant. Someone doesn't become that way for no reason. That in itself could result in what you seek."
Laughing a ridiculous thought popped into her head.
"Have you ever thought of scrying into his past? It is considerably less drastic than actual time travel. We would require something of his, perhaps a strand of hair or momento of great value..."
Shaking her head she laughed.
"There I go being obtrusive again...forget I said that. My future self would likely have likely helped you with such things if it was a good idea."
