Yo-ko Yo-ko understood what his was saying. It had bee a common misconception with the weapon to one that had neve opperated it before.
"Ohe yes, you are right. the distance used and distance needed to generate a cutting force seem to be counter productive. The large arching swing and the little tiny kama at the end. Yet that is where the whole control think comes into play. You think of the swing as the hips and the chain as the arm of the punch. The body propells the punch initially, putting the weight of the person behiend it as the arm adds a secondary force and prepulsion. So the swing is the hips and the control is the arm. i can bend it shift it, curve it, in all directions, so it is better then the arm that and can only bend i a few. and is....20 feet longer."
The statement to go to the Arena made Yo-ko happy. He would happily take her.
"Alright, you first madam." Nodding at his statement she remained seated despite having been the one to challenge him. Blinking at him for a moment she opened her mouth to speak.
"I cannot oblige to such a statement. I have no knowledge of the schematics of this facility. As you recall I have only been told that there is a..."arena" as you call it. Direction is required."
Rising from the bar stool she looked back at the red haired man, awaiting his lead.
"I only know of this facility from the Mistress. She has residence within these grounds. She knows little of my presence here."
((Sorry for the delay with the post. I have been rather busy for the past few days.))

Yo-ko knew how important it was to him that he remained "hidden" from people most the time. He just tried to think of how she felt. Empathy was something that Yo-ko did possess, strangely. Most demons didnt even have the ability to have emotions. Demons like Seth. Yo-ko didnt know how he had become this way.
"Oh, do you wish to remain unknown? i can keep a secret. You can trust me. Follow me, i will lead you there...."
Yo-ko motioned for her to follow. He would do his normal arm-in-arm thing that he does. He was a happy fellow that always liked to be cool with everything. For some reason though, he felt that she didnt know what that meant. Eh, she would learn. She was doing really good so far.
Yo-ko walked passed the stage and began to walk down the hallway to a flight of stairs. He looked behiend him to see if she was following.

*Seth, being the non-talkative demon he is, just kinda sat around as Yo-ko and Sol exchanged in conversation. He'd heard Yo-ko's explainations of how his inventions worked nearly a billion times in the past, since when it came to these things Yo-ko's temperment was reminicient of that of a child with a new toy; long story short, once he strarted talking about them, it would probably last for a good hour or so. Being in no mood to talk (in truth, no mood at all), Seth just sat at the bar and drank his Dew like anyone, demon or otherwise, would. Finishing the beverage, Seth tosses it over his shoulder. Anyone observing its path would see it dissappear into thin air about 6 feet behind him, but it really just went through a portal into the 3rd demension, one that Seth referred to affectionately as his "trash can."
Looking into Yo-ko's thoughts, Seth regarded that Yo-ko was partially right regarding most demons and their lack of emotions. However, most demons, at least those that Seth had observed, DO possess certain emotions such as anger, hate, and any other emotions that may be thought of as "negative" by an observer. What they LACK is regard for the emotions and reactions of those around them.
As he tends to do with most people when he first encounters them, Seth attempts to probe Sol's mind. He means no harm by it, but uses it rather to find out more about the person. What he got, however, was far from what he expected. A searing pain raged through his head as he broke the connection. "This Sol truely IS a weird one," he thought to himself. Hearing their mentioning of going to the arena, Seth suddenly enters the conversation.*
"Hey Yo-ko, can you get me get another Dew before we go?"
*Seth really didn't need help getting the drink from the bar; he could just use telekinesis to get it. However, the combination of the presence of the bartender and Seth's sheer laziness caused Seth to allow his fox-demon friend to do his job.*

Following behind the Kitsune with slow deliberate steps the cat eyed woman studied her surroundings seemingly imprinting all that she saw for later reference. Intrinsically her memory was far superior than anyone could ever imagine. Incapable of losing any stored data she perceived the world in a cold calculated acknowledgment. Things existed and generally had concise enough reasoning behind them. Some just required more deliberation than others.
Unbeknown to her she had her mind probed by the one she had come to know as Seth. To any who had the ability to stride the walkways of the mind, they would find a distinct lack of bridge between her consciousness and her memories. Both clearly present, but neither conjoined as they should. All in all she was an anomaly.
Pausing to look back towards the white haired man she paused letting Yo-ko go ahead.
"Ah so you are joining your kin as support? I recall that it is customary to cajole excellence by way of presence. The concept has been shown to derive results when studied."
A brief flash of memory entered her mind depicting her host fending off attack. Despite the implied danger none of the sense of "fear" or "apprehension" she had come to know was present. Only a sense of "excitement" and elevated endorphines. The urge to please an unknown male human was apparent.
"Peculiar..."
Bowing her head once more to the white haired man she continued on after the Fox demon. She navigated the walkways what appeared to be only seconds she was already upon her red haired man.
"Your brother wishes for another of the stimulant laced, carbonated beverages."

Yo-ko heard Seth, then sol relayed the message to him. He then did the most brotherly thing that came to mind.
"Look at how far away i am seth! dont you see i am trying to be a tour guide? a friendly influence to a new firend i have made!......fridge is under the bar..."
Yo-ko flashed his sheepesh, in his case a foxish, corny smile at seth, then motioned to come along.
"seth will join us in a minute. In the mean time, let me show you to the arena..."

*Seth couldn't help but chuckle at Yo-ko's reply. He and the Kitsune really were almost like brothers; the only part of brotherhood that they didn't have was a shared geneology. That aside, Seth used telekinesis to grab another Dew from under the counter as he stood up off of the barstool and grabbed his blade. Strapping it back onto his back, he walked towards the arena on the heels of Sol and Yo-ko. The pair had already started towards the arena, so he was a bit behind them, but that was easily remedied with a flash-step as the demon was suddenly next to the two others. In a random moment that could only be brought on by the cruelty of a demon's mind, Seth decided a little heckling was in order for the smaller Kitsune.*
"Well, what are you waiting for? Are you gonna give a tour or not? Hurry up! Jeez, you slack too much..."
*Letting it be at that, Seth just poised himself to follow on this little guided parade through familiar surroundings.*

Upon reaching the arena, Sol continued to study her surroundings, taking in the construction. Acknowledging the basic construction she returned her attention to her opponent.
"This structure shall suffice quite well. There is ample room to demonstrate the capabilities of your weapon. You may attack with any means you deem necessary. There is no need to withhold any account of your capability unless you deem otherwise."
Taking no stance or shifting her body position she awaited her companions response in any form. Despite looking as such she was ready. If it was his intention to have her attack she would in a matter of moments whether he deemed himself ready or not. Regardless. This combat demonstration would serve multiple purposes for her.

Yo-ko entered the arena and walked to the center. He knew that this would be a good test for him (( ooc especially right before the tourney)) as a warrior. Her eyes betrayed that she was very well trained; yo-ko knew she could not be taken lightly. He tended to be light hearted right before a battle. Durign the battle though, that was another story. he spoke to her before they began.
"Well sol, normally i would hold back some stuff. Most my toys and inventions where meant to kill swiftly and easly. Yet i feel as if i would insult your ability as a combatant and pride as a warrior if i held back. So if i poison you, please let me know. I really dont wish to kill you. "
With that all said, yo-ko set himself in no stance. his chin slightly down, to cover his through, his hands loose at his side, his weight at the balls of his feet, his eyes starign at the center of her chest. His instincts had kicked in, and he knew hers would soon too;if not already. When he spoke, his voice was changed slightly, yet one could not tell how. Just a simple word to sum it up.
"ready?....."

Bowing her head in agreement she whipped back her cloak it falling over her shoulders obscuring her limbs from view.
"As you wish..."
Rushing forward the cat eyed woman seemingly glided toward her opponent. Dropping low she attacked. Throwing a blow arching toward her opponents left knee, she aimed to cut his legs out from underneath him. Slowing to a halt she paused whether the attack hit or not.

Yo-ko focused his energy through his palms, forming a double bladed sword in the palm of his right hand. As she approched him with impressive speed, he grabbed the middle of it with his left hand, going into kamia stance (( ready stance in japanese. i dont know how to spell it, but it is pronounced come-eye)). His eyes changed from there normal eternity blue to a dark red and black. His kitsune eye now just came out due to reflex. his body had no control over it entering when battle appeared. His body was so used to it, that it just naturally came out.
He watched her drop low, with a strike aimed for his legs. He torqued his hips to the left as he brought his right leg forward and his left side of the sword down to protect his leg, timing his landing with her attack.
What made the rei-sword so effective is the energy made it just like a laser sword. It could cut through alot, except another rei-sword. This made its defense just as lethal as its attacks.
the (( you didnt specify weapon...)) connected with the sword and using the benifits of his kitsune eye, saw his opening. The kitsune eye allows faster reflexis in the form of slow motion, the ability to see ones energy network, to see through illusions, and the ability to see how ones techniques work most times resulting in the copying of the move. After the attack connected, Yo-ko launched his hips forward as he lifted his right leg into a front kick aimed for throat of sol. re-chambering the leg, yo-ko used the forward hip momentum to move forward slightly, bringing down his front blade down to attack down the center line of Sol's head, trying to cut her head in two. He was planning on stopping about a dime's distance away so he didnt kill her if she missed, or couldnt defend.

The sound and scent of energy cauterizing flesh could be heard and smelled as he stabbed downward through her left arm. Ignoring the damage she had just received she remained low as he launched a kick towards neck. Arching her right arm across the back of her neck, to deflect his attacking blow. Issuing forth with a hiss of energy she produced a Rei Sword similar to his own.
"Insteresting technique...I shall have to study its use."

"There is no need...The damage shall not be lasting."
Though it was clear the damage was apparent she lifted up her injured arm the limb clearly not functioning from the forearm up. In an horrific display she drove the rei blade through the wound, the damage reopening instantly. Slowly drawing the weapon back, she proceeded to extinguish the implement. Presenting her arm once more it had resumed full function and all damage had been repaired. Save for the damage done to her sleeve.
"The danger is fleeting...You may continue if you wish."
Fingering the hole in her cloak she returned her gaze to him.
