Chigiri means "Destiny", and the name was chosen for her as she was declared destined to bring the crime family great honor and notoriety. With this marking her journey from birth, she was trained and taught the ways of the family from the age of three onward. Learning the ways of the sword, and how to operate in a criminal manner were her schooling.
Upon her tenth birthday, she was presented with a special rabbit companion, a Shinobi breed of rabbit acquired from a breeder in Takumi. The rabbit was subsequently named Kuro because of her jet-black fur. Kuro was said to get stronger and bigger as her bonded partner grew in power, forming a link between their chakra. Kuro's life-span was also linked to Chigiri's once the two became acquainted, meaning the rabbit would never expire of old age before Chigiri.
With a couple of years passing and a life-long bond forged between Chigiri and Kuro, the time came for the young crime heiress to take her place in the world, and as such, she was offered up to Otogakure to be trained in their academy and become one of their ninja operatives. Paro wasnt born into a family of shinobi... but born into a family of mercenaries. Collecting bounties and doing odd jobs, this was the life that Paro knew. Her father was known for chasing down rouge shinobi or civilian criminals and being somewhat cruel. She knew this and knew that this life wasn't for her. Her fathers cruelty was only matched by the love that he had for Paro, often treating her like the "Untouchable Prize" to be won. Longing for independence from her 'tribesmen and women'; she left in the dead of the night in search for a deeper meaning and came across the Gates of Kirigakure. Personality: Within Taketori runs much of the feral Kaguya Clan blood that originally led the foolish, bloodthirsty clan eradicated by its own declaration of war against an entire country. Tempered by his upbringing in the wilderness, he nurtured a healthy respect for nature and for understanding the effects one's action may have not unlike that of a druid. He seeks to understand that which is unclear to him while having a weakness of instinctual and overpowering blood lust at times. While away from civilization he makes little effort to rein it in, though in a city he does try to control it. Prison was not enjoyable the first few times. And that was the problem with civilized folk wasn't it? They bottled up all feelings and never found a proper outlet, simply moving through the day like the materialistic zombies they are.
Taketori also has a strong moral code, though a little different than what most would expect, from his upbringing. In a world where a failed hunt meant people starved to death, the honor among his nomadic clan was fierce. Seeing problems with the world he came from and the world he goes to, Taketori decided that one day he would reign over a novel lifestyle.
Village: None (Rogue) Title: Watarimono < Genin > Rank: B-Rank First Class: Taijutsu ____Discipline → Berserker: Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have moderately increased Strength and Fortitude. Your hardened body allows you to mitigate the pain/status effect of an incoming attack for two post per body rank, allowing you to continue the fight until the pain or hazards settle in. This means that a stunning effect can be delayed by up to ten posts at S rank. However, you ignore pain anytime you use this discipline for any reason, meaning if you delay having your arm disabled by a skill, you can also ignore the pain from having been stabbed on that post as well. Ex.: A ninja uses a lightning technique designed to stun you. For one post, you can delay that effect from taking hold, and have nine posts to continue delaying effects. Similarly, the pain from the attack itself is also ignored. This doesn't, however, prevent you from being blown away in the wind, or set on fire/drowned for example. Furthermore, if lethal damage is suffered then the delaying ability will be nullified for that effect.
Second Class: Taijutsu ____Discipline → Monk: A more internal martial artist, you focus on the ability to utilize chakra to increase your power and techniques. You learn any style with a Mental Formless related training 2 posts faster. Your attacks overwhelm physical taijutsu techniques of the same type and same rank or lower.

While a good deal of the surviving Kaguya branches are those who saw the suicidal nature of their blood and sought to suppress it, Taketori's branch was not one of those. Not quite as glamorously, his branch had gotten lost in some forest on the way to joining the main host. In fact, they had gotten so lost that they simply settled down in the forest, mingling occasionally with locals to prevent inbreeding, and within a few generations their hunter-gather relation with nature introduced a healthier relationship with the world.
Taketori trained and eventually left his clan to explore the rest of the world. Entering the civilized world, he was both impressed and disgusted. There were many strong people yet many weak ones too. While there were masters and ninjas who's strength far outshone those around them, they chose to shun and reject many. This Taketori saw as wrong. In large population centers people were even seen as replaceable and their value was being lowered by those who ran the system. Yet modernization was not without merit. He decided to seek out and learn what he could, then take the best of both worlds and mold a new system. And what better way to dive into the culture of a place than to join combat co-curricular?

On a bad day for Nise, the orphanage could be indistinguishable from a war zone as explosive clay ants and basic firecracker abilities found their way to her bullies when they weren't prepared. This lead to her becoming more feared and generally left alone during her adolescent years.
Her play with dolls only grew then into an interest in becoming a puppeteer when she saw a ninja doing so. When the orphanage could legally kick her out, they immediately did so. She spends her days absorbed by art to the point where becoming a genin was a way to further indulge in her hobbies... after all, they weren't cheap!

Appearance: Shen stands on the taller side then most and holds a rather imposing figure to most. He is covered in muscle but not to outrageous amounts, making him look thin at a distance until one is up close. He has tanned skin that is covered in thin scars. Bright steel gray eyes add to his serious expression that is kept at all times. He has no facial hair and has a messy head of medium white hair. He usually wears rather plain clothes but tries to keep to some sort of uniform so as not to draw attention to himself. He prefers his own company but listens to orders well and proper. In line with his quickness to follow orders he does also possess an extreme code on honor and ethics that he chooses to follow. Rarely would this clash with his superiors of course but it can be odd quirks.
In battle he holds true to the legacy. Quick, cold, and calculating, he will never hesitate to end a life unless given explicit orders not to. When one enters battle one must be ready to part with their soul, and his fighting reflects that and what he believes of those around him. It also means he will almost always fight until victory or a forced retreat. He would not throw his life away but if there was even a chance of victory or a reason for his death he'd embrace them both without hesitation. To his family the way of the blade was the only path for them to take, the other forms of shinobi being disregarded. This was ingrained into Shen from the day he was born. However before he had a chance to start learning the real methods of fighting and participating in combat tragedy struck as was usual in the life of Shinobi. What had happened is hard to say, beyond that his father was slain in a messy battle that had no real clear villain or hero, leaving Shen unsure of where he was to stand on it. His village still stood but was far from what he once knew. Thus he embarked and quickly enrolled to the academy, setting his mind back to the track he had been put on. Even if his fathers had besmirched the families name he wouldn't let the legacy die. He'd find a new name to replace the one he had chosen to lose, and keep the spirit of what he had been taught alive in its truest of forms.

Sora is fascinated with all felines of any kind, looking forward to making new feline friends and learning more about them. Masa will always be his top favorite, and his best friend no matter what.
Masa is Sora's partner, who is still learning what it takes to be a full-fledged tiger and an exceptional partner for her master. Their connection has a strange effect on her overall growth, reflecting the strength of their bond. She's an energetic furball who loves to play and meet new people and animals so long as Sora is with her. As his partner, she is very protective of Sora, and helps with his fear of danger by teaching him to be more like a tiger. Masa is fearless in the face of danger, relentless in her assault that can be quite reckless at times, especially when Sora's life in on the line. Despite still being a cub, she's incredibly assertive when she needs to be and doesn't let her size deter her from displaying her ferocity to overcome bigger challenges. She's spoiled (though Sora might say otherwise), and loves her master's attention. It's very easy for her to grow jealous should he start spending more time with others.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Born under royalty in the Snow Village (now Otogakure), Sora was raised to live a rather normal life with his parents. Having no intentions of having their only child enroll into the village's military, he was groomed to be the next heir. He received his companion and lifelong guardian, a white tiger cub who he named Masa. The two befriended each other rather quickly, and have been inseparable since then. Collisions between the royal family and the current leader of the village in regards to territory caused them to send Sora and Masa to another location for his safety. One guard accompanied them to the village known as Kirigakure, where he'd reside until it was safe to return. For a couple of months, secret letters were being sent back and forth between him and his parents to keep contact. Until his final letter was never returned. Sora's guard insisted that he attend the Academy to blend in with the military of the village while they try to reconnect with his family. Learning how he'd have to operate as a Ninja of the village was discouraging, but he graduated nevertheless. Now, Sora and Masa begin their journey together as Genin!

Height: 5'6 Weight: 135 lbs Nindo: "Nothing is real, so its nothing to get hung up about." Personality: Many people actually tend to like Jun, most likely caused by the soft tones of her voice and propensity to be uplifting and supportive of others. She lands somewhere in the middle of an extrovert and introvert, mostly going with the flow of the room around her. It seems as if the girl has only friends, no enemies. And no one particularly close to her. Despite her amiable demeanor Jun truly believes something that often keeps her from pursuing deeper connections with others. There is no doubt in her mind that the reality before her eyes is in fact a facade.
So it doesn't matter to her if everyone wants to be happy-go-lucky or an immense edgelord. She'll encourage anyone to take a leap of faith, or even a leap off a cliff. In the end, it doesn't really matter. This unshakable belief has made itself apparent throughout her life. When your actions have no palpable meaning why bother trying so hard? It has taken her longer than many to even become the lowest rank of ninja because her motivation levels can wax and wane harder than the emotions of even the moodiest person out there. Some days she'll throw herself at a task or hobby only to completely give it up the next week and never return to it. Without someone else around to make the scene interesting Jun is content with sitting around waiting for something to happen to her.

What she had seen was merely a product of another person's mind, an image made to inflict pain and suffering on those who were incapable of defending themselves. No one believed her when she spoke about the beautiful world behind this one hiding just in the corner of her vision when she was alone, waiting to be rediscovered. They tried to explain time and time again that this was reality, and anything she had felt or tasted or smelled or touched was merely a dream.
Jun never believed them.
She remembers how it felt to have her little heart hammering within her chest. The fear that gripped her tiny being as they fled from their home, hunted for crimes that were not theirs. Like animals they were rounded up and taken away, ruthlessly slaughtered if they resisted. Maybe it was because she was barely ten years of age when that illusion gripped her mind and stole her from this existence and transported her to a world of nightmare. It felt like an eternity gripped by demons and a never ending blackness. But somehow that wasn't the experience that screwed her perception of the world. It was what happened after.
There was a sudden break in the bleak torturous scenes playing in her mind. A single pinhole just large enough to let in a shaft of light. When she felt it upon her face it was familiar, like the warmth of a hug or the rush of love felt from a parent's smile. Jun went to it and tore through this veil and became something more. She was apart of this endless being, so vibrant and full of life and power. There was no strife, no pain and suffering. And then it became so bright. So unbearably bright and then it was gone. Jun had seen that other side, the truth behind this mess of a world. How could she get back to it?
