A young girl wandered into the academy with her hands clasped behind her head. A large grin was on her face and she seemed to be excited about something. Probably the shinning the headband on her forehead that looked brand new. Waling over towards the others she just continued to smile before speaking in her prepubescent voice, "Yo! I'm Asena Makimaki, Kya-sensei told me come learn some stuff from um... shoot who was it again... uuuum Chie Sae... Sae... Saggihara?" She seemed genuinely confused about what exactly Chie's name was. Though what she lacked in certainty about names she apparently made up for in enthusiasm. While waiting for a response her body rocked back and forth impatiently. Clearly the girl was eager to get to learning.

Asena Makimaki.... Sumika's eyes narrowed. Something was off here. What though... hmm. "Asena... Aaaaaaaaaaasena. Is that uh... what's the word? It's, uh, the one where it's something else but not? Like it was one name and now it's another and y'all are breeding like rabbits WHAT GIVES?!" The girl's voice rose as her rambling continued, signalling the fact that she found this situation and an entire village's worth of people she'd literally never met before rather overwhelming. Also she found this situation suspicious but whatever. "Oh, uh, puppet girl, you can borrow my books if you want. No biggie." The girl added absentmindedly, remembering that she was, in fact, in the middle of a conversation before being so thoroughly derailed.

Chie disbanded her armor of wind just as she heard someone from behind her say her name incorrectly. Chie was ready to set a girl straight when she turned and saw the most precious little girl standing in front of her. She looked as cute as a doll with her long red hair and radiant smile. She didn't look much older than Hoseki, aka her favorite academy student, which made her instinctively lower her guard. "Hey there kid! Look no further for the ninjutsu master Chie Saegahara!" She said with a smirk as she raised her fist and pointed her thumb toward herself, trying to replicate a sense of coolness. She dropped the hand, however, when she truly analyzed the headband and the memo she had about Kya sending her over for training. "You seem awfully young to be a ninja, so I think it'll be better to train you in ninjutsu which allows you to stay at a range." She said as she brought her hand to her chin to rub it while she thought up what techniques she should start her in and why. As she was deep in thought, however, Koromaru approached.
Being a dog trained in ninja combat, Koromaru was able effortlessly to smell through the simple illusion San was using. He rushed over and started to bark viciously at the sight of the trick. As soon as he started getting loud, however, Chie scolded him. "Bad dog!" She said as she stepped in between the good boy and the fake genin. Koromaru continued to sneer as Chie shouted to get his attention. "No! We do not bark at baby genin. That's a very naughty thing to do." If Chie had at all purchased any of the training scrolls then perhaps she would have been able to translate what the dog was trying to convey. As it stood, however, Koromaru obeyed Chie but continued to leer at the girl. Chie turned around and bowed with her apology. "I don't know what's gotten under his skin. He's been really good with the other genin so far..." She said softly. She chose to ignore it for the moment as she got to the bread and butter of the training.
"Now let's change the pace for a bit." Chie said as she brought her arms to her and clasped them together. She then performed handseals in the exact order of rooster, dog, snake, dragon. She did it once swiftly to show off a little has fast she could perform handseals, and then a second time to slowly show the exact four seals in use. "Since you're so young, I don't want to teach you shadow clones yet until I can train you in the art of korabo. That way, in case you stumble on your training, I can merge my own molding with you to help you succeed." She said with a smile. Chie was genuine in her desire to help every genin succeed. She was building pride on the fact that she has worked with now a half a dozen ninja and trained them in at least the basics of ninjutsu so that they were not unprepared for the battles ahead. In order to get them ready, however, Chie had to reach them on their level.
"So what you need to do in order to succeed is match your chakra molding with me. The first step is the easy part where you do the same handseals as me at the same time." She said with a nod of her head. She then did the four handseals again to cement to the girl what she was expected. "The next part is to match our chakra molding together. To get this part right, we're going to use the basic clone as the technique we mold together. You would have had to have known it in order to graduate, and you'll also know that it typically is a parlor trick and use those four seals. However, to make our basic clone actually mold, we need to sync our chakra so that only one clone appears." Chie said with another nod of her head. "Alright, in three, two, one... begin!" She shouted as she did the four handseals at a slow pace. She hoped that Asena would move with her and get a hang of the chakra molding.

Asena smiled and laughed at Sumika. She had good instinct or at least knew her big sis well. Either way she was able to partially see through this obvious disguise. "Graduation time! All new classes leaving the academy panda girl." Teasing Sumika was always a favorite of hers but she'd gotten Chie's attention and now it was time to learn. Which she was acutely interested in what exactly Chie was teaching all the genin.
Of course her recently purchased canine companion had senses other than sight with which to see that she was not who she purported to be. Not realizing that Chie had trained the pup already meant that she had done nothing to mask her smell. Of course it seemed as if Chie was not on the same page as the dog since she rejected its reality and instead acted upon what she could see. While perhaps not the best of responses, Asena did find it amusing. Putting her hands behind her head she laughed loudly with the sound originating from deep within her chest. It was a hearty laugh that spoke to her enjoyment of the two's antics.
However they were both here for business and Chie was quick to move on from scolding the dog and getting to teaching. Asena was somewhat impressed with her decision to skip teaching the shadow clone jutsu as a normal child of this age might not have the chakra capacity for such a jutsu yet. That was something that would take training and dedication to growth. Instead they would start by practicing korabo together. Having only heard of the process before, one could say her interest was piqued.
The explanation of the process made sense, though she had to resist chuckling to herself when the topic of hand seals came up. To not entirely spoil the game she'd have to resort to using them again instead of her verbal calls. As the count down began she readied herself by raising her hands out in front of her chest. As they began forming seals Asena periodically glanced to the side to make sure she was doing it right. Of course it was all for show since she was quite comfortable in her ability to make a basic clone. When all was said and done she was able to produce a copy easy enough. Though if it was done in sync would be another question. "How was that? Was I too fast... or slow or ugh I dunno how was the speed?"
Chie's eyes widened when Asena was able to mold her chakra with her. There was something incredibly wrong as the clone popped up, and its appearance was a mix of Chie and the girl. It was too perfect. Chie had by this point trained a half a dozen ninja in the art of korabo. She knew the exact level of korabo each ninja was able to learn. This child exceeded that on her first try. Chie was a master of ninjutsu, but even she took a while to get her Korabo to the powerful level that it was right now. For this girl to learn Korabo at such a stage was unnatural. Chie's eyes narrowed as she scanned the girl up and down. She appeared to just be a new genin. Was there something behind that appearance? She suddenly remembered Koromaru barking frantically at her, and the dots started to connect.
"I don't know who you are, but I will not allow a wolf in the hen house." Chie said as she looked down. She then leaped backward as her hands formed different seals in the air. When she landed fifteen feet away she finished the two seals and brought her hands together in front of her chest. A blade of water formed in her hands as she then brought her hands and the weapon floated. Her right arm extended toward the child as the cleaver blade floated six inches away from her chest. "If you're part of that UHV, then you better start talking." She said with no sense of compassion or mercy. San warned Chie that UHV squads moved in groups of three or four. Considering that her and the other two ladies only fought three, there was a possibility that one remained. And if that one infiltrated Konoha under the guise of a little girl... At least Chie didn't allow herself to be fooled further. "THANKS." Nise shouted over her Armor of Wind. It was kind of a satisfying wind and she felt much safer inside it. A new girl had appeared too, but Nise figured she had been meeting new people all day, what was another new person right? All of a sudden, she felt a spike in tension in the area and dropped her armor. Chie appeared to have suspicions about this newcomer and upon hearing that she might be UHV Nise's eyes suddenly widened as she looked around quickly to register escape paths. Actually that was too hard for the tired out, stamina-less Nise. She hid her hands behind her back, trying to look both casual and distressed at the same time. She had begun molding the biggest bird she could at this point and with luck it'd be structurally sound enough to carry her away if needed. It would just take some time to finish...
Meanwhile, she began controlling the clay replica of the panda cub, Cobalt, she made earlier. It would wander over to Asena and if not stopped, would begin pawing and gnawing at her ankles. It looked like it wanted to be picked up. This was, of course, a panda cub made out of explosive clay. Hmmm... She really needed a better way to hide the fact that they were made of clay if she wanted this gambit to work in the future... That was something to think about. But now she just held her breath and waited to see if Chie's suspicions were founded. She wasn't even a ninja during the UHV assault so maybe they wouldn't know about the Bakuton clan's clay method? To maximize this potential, the users puppets gain a +3 weapon mechanism per puppet. Additionally, their chakra strings are significantly tougher than other puppet user's, making any chakra string technique act a rank higher. For D-rank, this bonus only works for techniques D rank and lower, C-rank for C rank and lower, B-rank for B rank and lower, A-rank for A rank and lower, and S-rank for S rank and lower.
Second Class: Sensor ____Discipline → Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
Sumika blinked for a second at Asena, as Cobalt followed his doppelganger over and sniffed the girl curiously. The puppeteer eventually decided she might as well train some herself and set her sights on a new technique for her arsenal. Her free hand raised above her head, a massive amount of raiton chakra formed into a disc. [ 1 / 2 ] As it formed, said disc began spinning rapidly. In the process it spread, and the girl poured more chakra into it just for the hell of it. Might as well get used to using something at an actual high level. She'd expected the technique to be a little bit harder, actually, based on what she'd read earlier. Asena gave a wry smirk as Chie accused her being a UHV spy, this was going to be fun. What most of the new genin didn't know was that San had a habit of well, being a little over the top. Especially when it came to testing others. "Hwa hwa hwa hwa! You're quite astute Saegahara-sensei as I am no ordinary genin! It is I the great turtle sage of Jiyuufudou!" The funny part was that save for claiming to be a genin she wasn't lying in the slightest. However she was also curious to see how the young Chie would react to such a situation. Primarily because she wished to no more about the young upstart since she might be someone who would be a valuable subordinate.
Her gold eyes drifted towards the clay panda at her feet and without a moments hesitation she plucked it off the ground and held it in her hand. "Also.... these panda are fricken adorable!" Holding out for all to see she admired the creation while waiting the others to respond to her most recent antics.

Chie's right arm extended slightly as the sword jerked another inch forward the moment the girl laughed. Her eyes were narrow and she was not afraid to intimidate her. However, if she was truly a sage of turtles, then there's no way that she could be a UHV agent. After all, sages by sheer reputation are among the strongest of ninjas. UHV was an anti-ninja civilization, so having a sage amongst their ranks wouldn't make sense. There was also a bit of sense to be made with Asena's remark. After all, she was able to learn a ninjutsu technique easily. Still though, there's no way Chie could trust this child. She may be a sage, but she may not. Regardless, Chie knew that she shouldn't fight her alone for an extended period of time.
"Nisengo. Get Kya and San and bring them both here. Do not stop for anything else." Chie said without looking at the raven haired puppeteer. Since that genin was a student of hers, Chie felt like she could give her orders. As for Sumika, Chie knew her skill. In case this got violent, having her around may ensure the safety of the academy. Now that she thought about it, getting into a fight here would be severely detrimental to all of the innocent ninja in training within the school. It was a good thing then that this "sage" didn't jump the gun like she did. While Asena wasn't keen on attacking or fleeing, Chie hoped that she could keep her focus on her. She started by pulling her right arm back, which caused the water sword to retreat to about five feet away from her. Chie then brought her right arm down which caused the sword to dig itself into the ground. It was still on standby in case she needed to strike, but she had to play nice for the moment. "So then, Sage of Turtle. Is the lady Hokage aware of your presence within her village." She asked as her left hand subtly moved behind her back. She was able to make one handed seals, so if she needed it, then she could make a surprise attack. When Chie said Sage of Turtles, one could practically hear the air quotes around the title. "Bulllllllllllllllllshit." Sumika cooed as the girl said she was a turtle sage and her own electrical shield depleted. She wasn't even remotely as subtle about her disbelief as Chie. "You're a turtle sage of Jiyuupoodu and I'm barely even allowed to go to the bathroom without supervision. I bet you just made some turtle soup or something one time." The unrestrained response was paired with more ninjutsu training as the girl made her puppet do handsigns again and gathered chakra. [ 1 / 2 ] Unfortunately for everyone, there was little Sumika was allowed to learn that was much of a challenge to her. In fact, of the genin, she was easily the most talented ninjutsu user present. She could have easily performed just about anything available to non-kage, but no one in their right mind would trust her with it. For now, she had spinning balls of lightning that a scroll assured her would stop projectiles and unskilled taijutsu attacks, and looked quite bored honestly. "You try to turn Cobalt into soup and I'm coming for you turtle girl." The little puppeteer said as she flicked a finger and something inside the puppet clicked ominously before its hand turned and it fired a projectile in the direction of Sumika herself. It was little threat, even without the barrier, as she could reduce it to sand instantaneously, but one of the orbs circling her zapped it away before it really got close, sending it careening into a nearby wall. [ 2 / 2 ]
Chie's intuition that fighting here would be bad for anything was about to be proven true, as Sumika leveled a finger in the general direction of the other two. The nearby kunai disintegrated in turn, and formed into a ball of metal in front of the finger as her thumb tilted upright. It was unassuming for the time being, but the genin could easily put enough umph into to challenge even the Hokage. Provided both of these two were closer to a proper genin than the dangerous idiot they shared the room with, it'd punch through them like paper. "Make my day, punks." She said in a growly voice, only slightly stifling a giggle at the reference to her favorite manga.

Nise felt herself nodding in agreement with Asena that, yes, the pandas were fricken adorable! And god damn it why did Cobalt have to wander over there too! She could not morally bring herself to detonate her clay panda whilst the real one was nearby. And Nise wasn't really looking to be the one who shoots the first shot here anyways. The less attention the enemy had on her, the better.
So it was probably a literal ironic when she opened up her hands and spit out a massive clay pelican from her chakra-infused clay. So maybe she wanted people to recognize her art, sue her. "I'll be back soon, Teach!" Nise shouted as the clay pelican fully formed and burst into motion. It swooped back around and scooped her up in its mouth-pouch.
Whew it was getting tense down there with Sumika too. Was she really just a genin? Nise couldn't help but wonder and feel a little inadequate as she was orbs of lightning begin to gather around her, destroying anything that came near. Still dangerous though. Her first stop would be with Kya and then she'd look for San back at the office. Unless, of course, this Great Turtle Sage of Jiyuufudou stopped her.

ᑃ There was a loud crash as the doors flew open and slammed into the walls. The bright light from the outside of the academy would cast a shadow over her form, showing only the gleaming blade of her Arahk and deep red eyes, a familiar black inscription in them remnant of Kortal Kahn's symbol. For just a moment, she held still, observing everyone present, looking for San without a care for the aura of domineering intimidation any rational Konoha ninja would feel upon seeing those famed, cursed eyes and her stature. When she found Chie and san, her nostrils flared, steam rising from them as she closed her eyes and gave an exasperated sigh.
Deft was the movement as her fingers came to form a seal. A high speed movement took place then, a Shunshin that put her be just to the side of Chie, flanking her side. When the crimson orbs fell on Makimaki, Kya gave no tell as to what she was thinking, but her words would. "So, a traitor in our midst? Chie?" Kya asked, levying the weapon at Makimaki.

The departure of Nise was of little consequence to Asena. The gir's talents were interesting the arrival of Kya was not something which was concerning in the least. Indeed perhaps it would be beneficial for her to come and be present. However as part of playing this role she felt it required her to return fire on the iron sand runt. "Blasphemy non believer! Senkame would be livid if I ate a turtle! Likewise I would never eat a being so cute as your panda! Besides... I have San's ear so she let's me do what I want nyeeeeeeeeeeeh" she stuck her tongue out before unwittingly chucking the clay panda at Sumika as she was unawares of the explosive potential since she hadn't bothered to read all of Nise's file yet. It was then that Kya arrived in a storm of fury.
While at first she quite livid, Kya prooved content to play the game as well. Her posture next to Chie and the question about a traitor proved that she was joining in on things. Good. Quick on the uptake and perhaps San had been correct in promoting her to jounin. However before more could be played of this game an unexpected chomp was administered to Asena's ankle. Suddenly there was an explosion of smoke and the young girl was replaced with San. "Dammit runt! You ruined the game. Now how am I supposed to test Chie?"

Isla looked down upon the group assembled below her. She was seated in the rafters of the academy, her back to a wooden beam. One legged absently dangled towards the ground 20 meters below her. As she watched the undertaking, she spun one of her many blades between the fingers on her right hand.'These guys certainly are an odd bunch' She thought with a slightly upturning of her lips. The women assembled below were all locked in combat apparently, with a small panda attached to the ankle of the Hokage. With a sharp intake of breath, Isla threw her other leg over the side of the beam, now letting both dangle as she twisted her body "Maximum effort" She muttered to herself as she pushed off the beam. She dropped and landed on the floor with a crouch, a few meters behind Sanae. She rose, pushing a strand of hair out from in front of her face as she did so. "Lady Hokage" She spoke softly, merely acknowledging the woman's rank and strength through the sentence. Her voice had traces of an accent. Her darker skin color, slight accent and quiet reservedness all contributed to the foreign nature Isla seemed to radiate "My name is Isla de Muerta. It's a pleasure, ma'am" The accent notably stronger as she pronounced her name, the "r" rolling slightly as she introduced herself. Technique Used:
A young girl wandered into the academy with her hands clasped behind her head. A large grin was on her face and she seemed to be excited about something. Probably the shinning the headband on her forehead that looked brand new. Waling over towards the others she just continued to smile before speaking in her prepubescent voice, "Yo! I'm Asena Makimaki, Kya-sensei told me come learn some stuff from um... shoot who was it again... uuuum Chie Sae... Sae... Saggihara?" She seemed genuinely confused about what exactly Chie's name was. Though what she lacked in certainty about names she apparently made up for in enthusiasm. While waiting for a response her body rocked back and forth impatiently. Clearly the girl was eager to get to learning.
