The room was quiet. It was dark. The rhythmic hum of an overhead cooling fan aided the few things that were keeping the expansive bedroom from being silent. A single, dim blue light was outside on the balcony, casting through the slit of the curtains a bright crack into the shadows that revealed the size of the chamber. It stretched across the carpet, over the bed, across a table and up the wall. Big for a bedroom. Little else could be discerned from Taliman's point of view, the small demon lying relatively motionless in his bed without any real intention of sleeping. That's not why he was in bed. For the time being he merely observed the ceiling above as though awaiting entertainment.

Considering the room the Emperor's bed was appropriately massive, though any who knew the owner knew he wasn't alone in it at times. Such as this time. As he sat up the sheets around his bare sturdy frame shifted, revealing the likewise nude back of a small figure at his right less than a foot away. The figure was that of a girl, a little one. In fact she looked like a child. Aside from proportionately overdeveloped hips rising from the mattress beneath the covers, she looked no older than twelve. Smaller than Wesley by perhaps a foot, the unknown magenta-haired girl was curled up nearby, facing away from him and sound asleep.

Clearing his throat softly, Taliman threw the covers from his lower body as he turned and got out of the bed. There was no motion transference, allowing the little girl to stay asleep as he tossed the covers back the way they were. One hand crossing over his chest to grab at his neck, he tilted his head with a pop as he flexed his opposite shoulder. He was still a little tired. As his eye scanned around the room, Tali's tail rose from his left to be groomed by his fingers, fur thoroughly ruffled from its time twixt the sheets.

Not planning on strutting about in the nude for very long the Emperor made his way through the darkness, stepping through the shadows until the sound of a door opening could be heard. As he flicked the light on before closing the door, one would identify it as his bathroom. Between the shuffling of a cabinet and the running of water, Wesley was only gone for a few minutes. Once he emerged he was dressed again, though far more so than he could've accomplished in the time he'd spent. Summoning a complete ensemble from thin air had its uses.

Tali trekked across the bedroom again, this time with shoes on. They were polished and brown, the bottom hems of black pinstripe pants just over the laces. Over this he wore his red trenchcoat, which he'd buttoned up all the way to his collar. A red fedora was nestled on his crown, a long feather swaying about from under the black band. Moving around the bed the Orinian lord hunched over what seemed to be a desk next to it on the same side as the still sleeping little girl. Sliding over a notepad, he felt around for a pen before jotting something down; the scratch of the tip against the paper nearly overpowered the fan.

The note was concluded as the pen was dropped upon the pad of paper, and Wesley turned to leave without another look to the child. His footsteps grew quieter and quieter, until finally the door was unlocked. Light from the hallway poured in as he opened the door, quickly stepping out and shutting it behind him. Wesley looked about. The wide hallway had a shallow white carpet down its center, ornate woodwork in the walls polished nearly enough to make a reflection. There were only a few other doors in view before the corridor curved out of sight in either direction, and not a soul was to be seen. Except for one of course. Standing just outside the bedroom the entire time was Cado. The Saiyajin brute merely stared into the space before him, as he always did.

"Cado," the Emperor said, catching the big man's attention,"we're going to Earth. It's time I scouted for suitable grounds."

The big man simply nodded.

"Ren reached her mother safely, yes? While I was tending to business?"

Cado nodded again.

"Very good," Tali said. One hand dove into his coat, emerging with a key card that he slid quickly through a device that connected the doorknobs. A tone was sounded and a small light upon the protrusion changed from blue to purple, indicating the lock was active. The Emperor spoke again as he hid the card in his coat,"Right then, we're leaving."

As he said it he placed his left hand to his guard's shoulder. One moment of concentration, and the two men vanished.

The Emperor and his personal bodyguard hovered high over a wide, empty area of land. Wooded, green, full of rolling hills with a little village nearby. Not at all what he was looking for.

"We need an open area without any scenery or possibility of casualties," he said outloud to no one specifically."He's developed a human sentiment over time. I'm forced to cater to it."

Wesley groaned. Earth was such a constricting place to fight. It was hard to give it one's all due to it being such a fragile little planet. Things would be so much easier if he could simply take the battle to a more barren rock without any civilization worth sparing on it. There were hundreds of moons that could take an Earth-wrecking blast and live to orbit another day. It was an avenue worth exploring, but he would need a Plan B. Maybe Plan C too.

"Very well," he sighed. "Stay close, Cado."

Bracing himself, Taliman and the Saiyajin turned South and blasted off. Their ki spiked as they went on the move, though what they put on display was nothing spectacular. Just enough to get them where they were going without taking their time. Any bystanders happening to follow their trajectory would undoubtedly get the sense that Tali had nowhere in particular to go and that instead he was merely sightseeing.

[[ tl;dr xP ]]

The Saiya-jin Prince sat on his bed - a small bed within a small and stark room of a large spaceship meant for galactic travel that had long since become a home to this man. There was no light within this room save for the slight green glow of User's scouter on the small and plain dresser. It was quiet, completely and utterly quiet. The room was not terribly bare, he had various things he had collected over the years from countless worlds and wars. On the dresser, positioned next to his scouter was a single framed picture of a father and daughter...

The alien's hands were locked together, his head resting upon them and his eyes closed. His mind was lost in meditation, in practice battles that took place within the mind. An exercise in battle that would last until he broke this trance or win the fight. This could go on for hours, would go on for hours. This was how he stayed sharp, in control, and ready for whatever war would come.

Though those days seemed long ago. When was the last conflict? The last great battle that needed a Super Saiya-jin? Or even the Saiya-jin from legends?

Too long, indeed. It was like an itch that needed a scratch with User. He could ignore it, yes, but it was his nature to scratch said itch. It was natural for him to desire battle. It was his purpose in life - what he was born, raised, and trained for. For a long time, it was all he had known and he still loved to smash people around as though they were his playthings. Even loss - a hated thing in his culture - would be acceptable to him now, as long as he could fight. As long as he could fight. He fancied the idea that he would one day die a glorious death in battle. He was a warrior, it was just that simple and why such thoughts pleased him so.

Now this warrior, sitting on a small bed within a small room, sensed something within his greater awareness. Something that made him open his eyes to detach from the practice wars within his mind. A sudden ping in ki, something familiar enough to be known.

Ah yes, the little 'emperor' Taliman. And his giant brute of a bodyguard, some sellout Saiya-jin. The Saiya-jin Prince leaned over, grabbing his Scouter. Though he could sense ki, he still enjoyed the use of the device as a means to get hard, concrete numbers - such as distance, altitude, flight speed and the like.

User stood, wearing only a black tank top and black pants well suited for the martial arts. He made his way outside, the door opening itself for the Prince, where his feet met fresh grass - and where his armor waited for him, piled together. This was his most comfortable clothing to him. It stretched as needed and was incredibly very resilient - it was fit for battle, perhaps the reason he loved it so. He tossed it on quickly: the body armor, the boots, the gauntlets. His tail wrapped around his waist. Suddenly, his power spiked as if it too was ready for war and wanted to act as another set of body armor as his aura of energy circled around him.

User smirked.

And he was off, up in to the sky and aiming right for Taliman and his lapdog.

The two men were still soaring high in the clouds. Neither of them had produced a visually manifested aura of ki but they were moving at a comfortable pace. They needed only look for a suitable area, not set a lap record. One of Wesley's hands was up, holding his fedora on his head as he flew, scanning the Earth below. Cado seemed altogether unbothered by the wind and cold, even as scarcely dressed as he was. Now they were over a lengthy archipelago, the ocean lazily lapping against the sides of the rocky islands. It wouldn't make for a very suitable battleground so there was no reason not to continue on.

Cado however suddenly got a different idea. He drastically lowered his speed and half-turned to look back the way they had come. He spoke a single word to alert his Emperor.

"Lord."

Wesley blinked a moment before likewise slowing and quickly stopping, the Saiyajin doing the same. He passed a brief look to Cado before looking off into the distance. When Cado requested his attention it was usually something obvious. This time was no different. There was a big power moving toward them at great speed, and it held hostile intent. There was little coincidence; whoever it was had their sights set on the Emperor and his guard.

"We have a visitor. Interesting.. wait, no. Boring," Tali scoffed.

He was merely a nuisance, whoever he was. If he knew what was good for him he'd suddenly forget what he was doing. Wesley gestured to Cado and turned. "He doesn't concern us. Let's move."

And they continued on, moving no faster than before.

User flew like a bullet, he wasn't wasting energy to do aerial stunts. He adjusted his flight path as needed to make the quickest path to his targets, only showing off a bit once to dodge a passenger airplane. He adjusted his ki, speeding up faster and faster but still attempting to waste little power on flight. The fools were traveling so slow that he was almost upon them with incredible ease.

The Prince grunted, they probably considered him nothing to worry about. A pest at bet. Taliman never seemed to take any of them seriously and for a while, User never cared what Taliman was up to. But now, he knew better - knew that this 'emperor' was a great threat, a threat that had to be ended as soon as possible. If he waited, then Taliman would perhaps become so powerful as to become unstoppable. The lines had to be drawn and no one else would do so, then User would.

Now the flying Saiya-jin was right on top of them and he shouted over the wind, "Greetings, 'milord'." He angled himself below them, flying as though he was laying on his back and looking up at them and said with a snarl, unable to keep his contempt of them from his voice, "What are you doing on Earth?"

Ahh, User, he thought. The princeling was at it again, turning normal activities turn into unbearable chores. Cado's stern gaze was no centered on User, but he did nothing else out fo the ordinary. The Emperor didn't care about what User wanted as long as he could be persuaded to leave them be.

"Technically I'm not doing anything on Earth," Wesley replied sarcastically, needing to yell over the wind. He truly preferred not to hold a conversation in flight. In fact with this monkey he preferred not to hold a conversation at all. Without making any eye contact Taliman and Cado continued despite the added distraction. They would reach a greater landmass soon enough.

"I have things to do, boy. Sod off."

Oh they wouldn't get rid of him that easily.

The Saiya-jin outstreched his hand and fired off a yellow ball of ki ahead of the two men he was trailing, a small simple projectile which exploded into a shower of sparks that would wash over them. It would not harm them unless they were so stupid as to keep themselves utterly defenseless - this was just a warning shot to get their attention.

"You're doing something here, indeed!" User shouted at them angrily, "But what? Scouting a prime location for your next military action? I'm no idiot, Taliman, despite what you and everyone else seems to them."

He growled - though this probably could no be heard over the wind, "You came to Earth! Now you're stuck with me! I'm not letting you idiots just run off - I came for a fight, I've got a bone to pick with you!" This time User reeled his right arm back and hurled it forward with force, a barrage of more powerful blasts of energy aimed at the two.

Blood rushed through User, adrenaline kicked in - he was pumped, ready for an all out brawl. He had forgotten how glorious this feeling was, "Come on, you bastards! You came to Earth - now you have to deal with its defenders! No more tyrants! No more fools running about the galaxies to conquer them! I will end you, Taliman!"

Now he redirected his flight, kicked in some real energy, and with a burst of power flew right for them, "Let's go! Time to fight!"

The first shot fired achieved what it was likely intended to. Taliman came to a screeching halt, ducking his head under his hat to shield his face as he reoriented his body vertically. Immediately as he stopped he shouted.

"Cado!"

The beast of a man was going to move to attack, but the Emperor's call kept him at bay. For now. As the princeling continued with his idle banter, Wesley narrowed his eye at him. Was he serious? The monkey suddenly had a huge chip on his shoulder and decided the best course of action was to challenge the Orinian lord himself? Silly boy.

"What is this..?"

Tali contemptuously asked the rhetorical question under his breath, certain that it wouldn't bring a pause to the furious rant even if it was heard. User's misled accusations didn't help his credibility at all but the demon really didn't see the need to correct him anymore. As angry as he was, it was clear he wouldn't simply be talked out of it.

Then a second attack came, much more deliberate. Light flashed as the attacks hit their target, several small explosions blowing away the nearby clouds. As the smoke dissipated, Tali wouldn't be seen. He was behind the wall of a man, Cado, who had simply moved into the path of the attacks. He kept a hollow stare on the much smaller Saiyajin before him, unharmed by the attack.

Hovering out from behind his guard, Taliman glared irritably at his shouting attacker, coughing gently into a balled fist. The delusional fool wanted a fight. He'd get one. It would slow things down, but it culdn't be helped. Wesley however would nto dirty his hands with this nonsense. he was tired as it was. Sensing the approach a moment prior to its' initiation he scoffed, issuing the order to his guard.

"Comedy is not amongst this monkey's talents. Cado. Teach our gracious host a lesson, will you?"

The big man's wide mouth twisted into a frown as User blasted toward him, Wesley drifting hastily out of the way. As User closed in he would feel a sudden push, a forceful shockwave emanating from Cado's person. He had simply powered up to begin the battle, more than willing to accept his fellow Saiyain's challenge now that he had the OK from his lord. Even with the two still in their basic states, the massive Saiya-jin overpowered User by four times.

Hunching forward, he rose his big gloved paws as though ready to catch the little monkey like a baseball.

User grinned. Finally, a real fight! And for something worth fighting for!

Cado was big - at roughly eight feet tall, he outclassed the Prince of Saiya-jins by three feet. That didn't matter to User, just made him a smaller target and he was curious to know just how fast this big hulking monster of a man was. What User did know was that he was powerful, easily outmatching him for the moment.

He would deal with this idiot then go after his master... but there was something to this that didn't feel normal. It was exciting, of course, but it was almost too exciting. User realized that he had not truly fought another Saiya-jin in a very long time. Perhaps that was it, just something still pestered him but he couldn't place it. He ignored it now and revealed in the fight.

User powered up and pushed it beyond the normal and into the super. The first stage of Super Saiya-jin might even this battlefield a bit. He moved swiftly, getting behind the hulk of a Saiya-jin. Having already drawn back his right leg, he unleashed a powerful kick toward the midsection of Cado.
