Zizaa's eyes narrowed. Seeing the gun in the person's hand and hearing him talk about Calista sparked a warning sign in her mind. A crazy friend..? or something else.....Zizaa concentrated back on the laptop screen and opened windows to search for any mishaps around this area or the apartment building.

Rachel was standing behind Harris, it was obvious that he didn't see her standing next to the door when he entered. She couldn't believe what she had just seen, Harris had just killed someone in a church of all places. Not really knowing what to do Rachel just stood there stupidly for a while. She couldn't risk getting shot but if she did nothing Rhys would get shot. After what seemed like an eternity Rachel rush forward and jumped onto Harris' back while yelling her furry. If she were someone else looking at her she'd think herself insane.
"Get off!" Harris yelled as soon as the shock of being jumped on was over. Dropping the gun he reached around and pulled Rachel off of his back and threw her to the floor. "You've got a lot of nerve-" Harris started to say but was cut off short at the sight of Rachel holding his gun, pointed at him with a shaky hand.
Startled at finding herself holding a gun Rachel went pale. She couldn't kill someone and knew that very well. Still holding the gun pointed at Harris she stood up off the ground and made sure the exit was blocked. She was stuck, Rachel didn't know what to do but stand there. The gun just seemed to be getting heavier and heavier making it hard for her shaking hands to hold up. "Don't move." She finally said in a whisper. Feeling very sick at the moment she didn't trust herself to say another word.

Quickly, yet painfully, Rhys walks past Harris to Rachel's side. He then gently takes the gun from her while keeping it pointed at Harris.
"s**t, that b***h would have never shot me, would she have?"
"Most likely not." Rhys replied with no emotion in his voice.
"You have two choices, Harris. Tell me who you are working for and die fast, or don't and die slow." Rhys was having a hard time standing, but he kept the gun steady. He held Rachel's lower arm to help keep standing.
"I don't like either of them." Harris says as he took a step toward Rhys.
"Don't test me." Rhys says, still lacking any emotion.
Harris steps back again. The faint sound of police sirens could be heard.
"The cops will be here soon. Your blood and finger prints are all over the place." Harris smirks as he waves his gloved hands a ******** you!" Rhys raises his hand ready to kill Harris, but he couldn't pull the trigger. He cringes a little as a sharp pain in his ribs makes it near impossible to stand. He puts almost all his weight on Rachel to keep from falling. The pain leaves as fast as it came. He pulls at Rachel's arm and leads her out the back. He hates leaving Harris to just walk out of there, but he could do nothing right now. If he shot Harris then there would be gun residue on his hands, and there would be no way to removes Harris' body before the cops got there.
Rhys continues to pull Rachel along until they got a safe distance away. Rhys looks at Rachel, he still appears emotionless. Not sad about what just accured, nor angry. Just black.
"Thanks." He almost whispers a little confused. She had never done anything like that before and he is worried.
"But don't do something that stupid ever again!" He yells at her then turns away.
"What if he got his gun before you did, or if he never dropped it? He would have shot you. I can't let you die. I l..." He quickly stops himself before the words came out. He had to do something to get her out of this situation.
"I lost control back there, Harris had it." He looks at her again
"You are in the way too much! If Tyrel had picked me up for the station this would never had accured." Rhys takes a deep breath and sighs a little. He was fooling himself. He wasn't mad at her. She wasn't to blame.
"Sorry... you're not in the way." He looks down the road they were on. It wasn't far from Main Street. He had to find a way to get her out of this. It was taking him too long. She shouldn't have had to been there, risking her own life. He thinks about the offer Braden had made him. If he agreed to help a detective and Mathue found out, he'd be a dead man. He tries to think. "Wait, why was she even at the church?" He glances up at her. The wind blows her hair a little, making it dance around.
"I need a cigarette," Rhys mummers as he walks again. But before he even gets two steps in the sharp pain starts up again, this time it felt like it was closer to his heart. He looks at his blood stained shirt and sees the bright red of fresh blood mixed his a hint of a yellow. He faints and his head hits the ground hard and the gun falls out of his hand.

Rachel really hadn't listened to a word Rhys had said, she had just stared blankly at her shaky hands. She had held a gun and could have shot someone. Only making matters worse, she just stared at Rhys' limp form on the ground. Her mind blank as to what to do. With out thinking she just took her phone out and called the docter who had stitched him up the first time. Rachel doubted she would have thought of that had her mind not been buzzing in every direction. The second the docter answered she recognized his voice from previous visits, she got along with him well enough. "Hey this is Rachel.." she then told him where their location was and to get out there as fast as he could and to keep it quiet. She trusted him to do so. After wating several long moments, he arrived. Carrying his bag with him he rushed to Rhy's side. "What happened?" He asked after a moment of looking at the wound and cursing under his breath, it appeared to be infected. "I don't know!" Rachel said, distressed. "I.. just help him okay." She said quietly. Before now she never realized that her hatred for Rhys seemed to have been gone. She was scared for his life. The docter gave her a quizical look, which was returned with a look of loathing from Rachel which was not uncommon for anyone to get. "Stop looking around and help him!" She ordered through a wavy voice. Great! She thought. I'm gonna start crying now. She shook her head as if to push that emotion out. Just now noticing the sirens for the first time she went even more pale than what she already was. "We need to get out of here!" "Agreed, this place is filthy I can not work here." The docter replied, seemingly oblivious to anything else. With the help of the docter, Rhys was now in the backseat of the car the docter had arrived in. Rachel in the back too, to watch over Rhys. Once at the hospital they were rushed in through a backdoor, no paperwork was even thought to be made out nor did anyone ask any questions, they all just got to work. Rachel had been kicked out for yelling at the nurse for no real reason. So pacing back and forth outside she waited impatiently.

Rachel gave Braden a look of complete confusion. Right when she was about to say somthing rude to him the nurse told her Rhys had wanted to see her. Giving Braden one last look of confusion and annoyance, with all the events of the day she didn't recognize him. After walking into the Rhys' room she sat on a chair next to the bed and looked at him. "You know.. you tell me that was stupid, look at you. You are injured and walking all over town. You should have just let me take you home and none of that would have happened." She said before Rhys could say anything. Then sat there quietly, waiting for him to yell at her or somthing for saying that.

And he did yell.
"If you hadn't been flirting with that detective then I would have let you take me." He was too tried and hated being forced to stay in bed. With his left hand he scratches his arm where the IV was. He was being give some kind of antibiotic to stop the infection, but it was making his stomach hurt. He had a heart monitoring device stapling to his right index finger that is bugging the crap out of him.
"Call Tyrel or someone, get me out of here." Rhys orders, but his voice was weak, he was too tired from the drugs.
"I can't let you leave until the infection clears. If you would have ignored it a few more hours it could have cause a heart attack." The doctor bluntly explains as he enters the room and checks the monitoring devices.
Rhys just stares at the doctor, unable to comprehend the fact of how close he had been to death. Braden was standing at the door; he had heard only what the doctor had said. From where Braden was, Rhys can't see him but Rachel can.

Rachel glared first at Rhys then at Braden. Her days were just getting worse by the minute. "I will not call Tyrel." She said after a moment quietly. She wanted to know what Braden was doing, how he knew her and everything else. Resting her forehead in her still shaking hands, she let out a deep sigh. This one was going to take a while to get over, she could handle having a gun pointed at her, not her pointing a gun at someone else though. Also having seen Rhys' wound had made her feel even worse, she thought it disgusting. Even more quietly so that Braden could not hear she looked over at Rhys and turned so she was facing Rhys completely. Being accused of flirting with Braden brought that memory back. "The one you accused me of flirting with is here." She said with a lot of annoyance. Rachel didn't know if she could forgive Rhys for accusing her of anything at all, she still blamed him for her knowing him in the first place.

Calista slowly opened her eyes to stare at the laptop in front of her. Blinking a few times, she sat upright quickly and clicked on the blinking message on the screen. Cursing herself, she rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she scaned through the message from Mathue. She had fallen asleep.
Pausing as she finished reading the message, she looked at the laptop, confused. Reading it again, she sighed and slowly got to her feet. Heading to the bathroom, she tossed her clothes into the hamper, removed the bandages from her arm, and got into shower. She really wished that she could just stay under the hot water for the rest of the night, and forget that she ever got a reply from Mathue. Finishing her quick shower, she wrapped a towel around herself and walked back out to check the message again.
It hadn't changed.
Cursing lightly, she dryed off and bandaged her arm again, noting the frayed stitches from too much movement. Getting dressed quickly, she stuffed her laptop back into her bag and headed for the door. Mathue's orders were simple. Go to the hospital and get your wound checked up on. Go back home and fix your computer's security and check on your programs. Fix the problem with the rival gang.
The first two were understandable, but as to how she was going to deal with 3Crosses? That was up to her. Refuse they're deal, and they would probably kill her. Accept they're deal and Mathue would kill her. The sun was rising, she hadn't slept in what felt like ages, and now she had to find some way to still be alive after giving her answer to Edward. Oh, and her laptop began blinking again, ths time with an email from her parents. Her dad was checking up on her, wanting to know how well she was taking care of the apartment building that he gave her.
Her life seemed to be going steadlly down hill.

Rachel stayed where she was and just crossed her arms across her chest. Her mind was set, she would have to be dragged out if they wanted her out that much. "I ain' goin' anywhere. I want to know what is going on and I am not leaving untill I find out." She said stubbornly. "I want to know why you know who I am and asked me if I was okay." She said to Braden then turned to Rhys. "Yell and throw a fit all you want, I aint leaving." She ment every word she said. She also just plain didn't want to move too much, she still felt really sick.

Braden looks at Rhys then Rachel. Although there are many things he likes the girl, her stubbornness was not one of them.
"I was..." Braden starts, then tries to figure out how to word it. "I've been watching you since the Briton murder case. You're good at your work, but I am just a little better. You need to be more careful, wear a hat or shave your head or something. Now, I have to talk to Rhys alone." He know he didn't really answer her, but he wanted to talk to Rhys alone. What he needed to till him would go a lot easier without Rachel there.

Rachel twirled some of her hair in her fingers. Braden did have a point, dying her hair blue four years ago was for fun, now it was purely to annoy Mathue. She had to admit though, that it wasn't working and that she should have covered it up more often than what she usually did. Rachel did not move from her spot. "I already told you, I aint leaving. I want to know what is going on. I refuse to be left in the dark anymore." Rachels voice was starting to rise, she was getting highly annoyed. "If I am gonna be stuck living this life, then I want to know exactly what's going on it!"

Rhys sighs a little. He didn't want her stuck in this life, and he knew Braden knew this. Braden is eating up her every word. He smiles a little and looks at Rhys, then back at Rachel.
"If you don't want Rhys arrested for that priest's murder then I suggest you leave us." Braden bluntly threats. "I just got a call about it. But, I could make sure none of Rhys' blood or figure prints stay on record. It's too late for you to get it cleaned up."
Rhys squints at Braden, he couldn't go back in that cell.
"Rachel, go. I'll feel you in when he leaves." He had no clue what was so important right now, why Braden needs to talk to him right this second. But he wants to get it over with.
