Rachel and Lynn are on their way to school one day thinking nothing is wrong. Upon meeting each other, they head to school and go through the routine of the day, only they find out on the way home that this may have been their last day at school. They are taken captive by a group of strangers for a drunken prank, unintentionally entangling them in a mess they never could have dreamed of. They know too much now, they can not be set free.

Years later...

All hope has been given up on finding the two girls and those who had taken them. They are thought to be dead. Lynn's crush, however, is one of the few who have not given up hope. Looking upon him, family members and friends are sorry for him, and also guilty that they, themselves, have moved on with their lives. Rachel and Lynn are right under their noses. The Mafia ring leader known as Mathue Masseria also has them under his nose too, watching them carefully. "If you want your family to remain unharmed you will continue to work for me," he threatens. So Rachel and Lynn continue to work, always watching their family unseen.

Despite being forced to work in the dirty business they have made a few friends in the ring, more or less honest, wrong doers. They, unlike the others, have a sense of honor, and always look out for the girls. Detective ________ , who is forever trying to catch Rachel and Lynn and subdue the ringleader of the Mafia, is always a step behind. Having nearly caught the girls they are always careful, though not sure if the detective lets them go on purpose.

"Is he a good cop?" Rachel asks Lynn.

"I don't know...there have been plenty of times that he could have actually caught us..." Lynn replied, unsure.

Note: This story is NOT centered around Rachel and Lynn, nor does it star Rachel and Lynn. This is only the opening for the RP and the best we could think of at the moment. We LOVE and ENCOURAGE all the help and feedback we can get.

Rules
Obey them or we will feed you to Mel's (Kauru Denubis') pet snake. :3nods: If you don't know what many of these terms mean, we recommend you read this first.

• No Godmoding (Since there probably won't be too much fighting, this shouldn't really be a problem)
  
• No Puppetmasters (This is playing someone else's character. Example: "Suddenly a dragon pokes you in the eye. You run screaming from the room, whereafter you go home, make a pickle sandwich, and call your mother to cry about how she ruined your life." <--example taken from The Anti-Munch Project)
  
• Must be at least Semi-Literate.
  
• Quotes must not exceed a maximum of one per post. (We may overlook this rule once and a while, but only if it is unavoidable)

• Keep in mind this is a modern day RP. There are no swords or powers or dragons or zombies or anything along those lines.
  
• You MUST fill out the character sheet and have an avatar saved to use as a character.

Mob Family History
Masseria Family:
The Masseria family's first boss was Nathan "The Guiltless" Jolevio. He became the boss of a small gang after getting away with the murder of the governor. He ruled over the quickly growing family for 10 year. He was succeeded by one of the most famous mobsters in history, Casey "Faithful Lo" Loenio. He acquired the nickname Faithful Lo from his eternal faithfulness to his wife who basically ran the family. That was until he killed her when he caught her cheating on him with his best friend. Loenio's wife was the most powerful women in the mobster world before her death, so Loenio made way to many mistakes after her death and ended up getting killed himself by a rival family. The Masseria family had a huge wound, but was brought back to life by two men. Ferris Corsila, who was a close friend of Loenio, and Vito Masseria, who was married to Courtney, Ferris' sister. Together they kept power over the family until Ferris was assassinated by Manic, who unknown to everyone but Manic and Courtney, got his orders from Vito Masseria. The next boss of the family is where it got its namesake, Vito Masseria. Vito was in charge for fourteen years. Then died, killed by Manic, the same hit man who he hired so many years ago. Courtney continued to run the family with the help of three male aids: Kelly Noranto, Peter "Hard Kill" Moyer, and Nick Norton. This was a short run though, five years later Courtney was ambushed during a meeting and all but Peter died. The current boss, Vito and Courtney's only son, Mathue Masseria, replaced the dead as head of the family. He has been compared to many people but summed up this man is famous, ruthless, respected, and feared. Mathue never conducts business over the telephone, he is very cautious about his meeting places. He also knows how to use people without his name being attached to that person. Many people expect the family to continue their prosperous ways under Mathue for a long time.

3Crosses
An underground gang that takes in all the rejects, to say it nicely. It was founded by Janrith Mao, a corrupted cop who was thrown off the force because of his inane religious beliefs. He believed that everyone was equal to everyone else, and those who claimed to be and acted superior should be punished by the hands of God. He began to take in everyone who was rejected from society, regardless of why they were rejected so as to have a force large enough to take on the 'worst' of all the perpetrators, the very police force he had been apart of. He was later killed by his oldest son, Kinsrith Mao, who believed that his father had a good idea, but was going mad. He set up operations in an old, worn-down church on the edge of town, and molded the gang into what it was today.
For five years the gang has thrived, spending most of its time hassling the cops and staying out of the way of the Mafia. However, that’s getting harder and harder to do. The 3Crosses have been accused of some of the Mafia's wrong doings, causing more then a few of the gang’s members to be killed. Now Kinsrith strives to bring more and more talented people in to help the gang stand up to the Mafia, while still giving the cops hell.
