Giovanni walked over to offer Cerbera a hand up. "I know he's huge but he's a gentle gaint" all the rest of his Pokemon were of average height, with the exception of his Skarmory who was just slightly taller than the norm. "The rest of my team consists of a Metang, Prinplup, an Aegislash and last but not least my ever so loyal and trusty Skarmory" he didn't want to let them out of their balls in case a similar situation happened. Rusty on the other hand was trying to make sense of the Ghost Type seemingly dancing on its head now by lifting up in the air to tower over the group and lift it into the air.

It was starting to wear off though, and Cerbera got back up to her feet, scooping Loofah up as she went and scratching the frog under her chin. "Thank you cutie, but this big lug isn't dangerous..." She was just about to turn and reassure Spirit as well, when the Steelix reared up. Berrie's eyes got big, but she decided to take her friend's word for it. "Oh, um...I'm not familiar with any of those others," she admitted, searching for a distraction to help her get her mind off of the massive metal snake. She found a distraction too...a rather unexpected one. Apparently curious as to what all the commotion was, a wild Psyduck had wandered over. Seizing the opportunity and distraction all bundled up in this one little duck she said to her Espeon, "Spirit! Get the Psyduck! Swift!"[- -]Spirit had been cowering behind her trainer, honestly frightened by the size of the boy's pokemon, and she wasn't ashamed in the least to be scared. Especially when the thing reared up. However, at Berrie's request, the Espeon broke her gaze from the giant metal snake and searched for the aforementioned duck. Spirit told her friend, trying to sound tougher than she felt, and she shot the little star-shaped beam from her forehead gem, striking the Psyduck and knocking it out in one shot.[- -]Cerbera pumped her fist in mild celebration when the single shot took the pokemon down, and she grabbed a ball from her belt, tossing it at the Psyduck and ensnaring it. The ball stopped rustling after two shakes and Berrie smiled at her friend. |It'd be cool to see all of your guys, Gio, but yeah...we're already causing a pretty big commotion...let's just get to that restaurant, hmm?"[- -]Meanwhile, the haunter was still playing on top of Rusty, not seeming to care that it was trying to shake her off or whatever. Aston rubbed the back of his head. How exactly did he have fun with competing in the league? It was awkward being forty and being a trainer. But, he could tell Theodore was messing around about it being an order. Even still, no true Tyvian could ever pass up the chance to bring pride and recognition to their kingdom. His order, though false, would ultimately be carried through simply because of Aston's pride as a Tyvian. He watched Theodore leave, smiling a bit, before he realized his Braixen hadn't followed him like she usually did. Looking back when she spoke, Aston watched as she held up her stick to him. What? Glancing into her expression, it was like her words became clear. That was how much determination her stare held."...So, you want to be knighted. Well, I'm not of royal blood, but we both know Theodore won't do it. And, a Royal Knight is allowed to recommend others."Something he had never done and never thought he would do. But, she seemed so determined to take the role in his stead that it would be dishonorable to reject her. It was a good thing they were in an empty building aside from Nurse Joy, who was currently in the back."Very well then. Olivia, I hereby knight you. From this day on, you are a Royal Knightress of Tyvia. Protect our prince with your life."It was a temporary knighting. The true ceremony could only be performed by the king or queen, or one of royal blood. But, they weren't able to do an actual knighting. So, this makeshift ceremony would suffice. Olivia put her stick back in her tail - wasn't that uncomfortable? - and hurried after Theodore. Aston waited until he was alone before snickering. Who would have thought Tyvia's first female Royal Knight would be a Pokémon? It was amusing. He was sure Alba and Jesamine would have laughed at the notion. Perhaps they were amused now, watching over them. Leaving the Pokémon Center, Aston headed for the forest again to make his way to Vaniville so he could board the train for Sinnoh.

The girl scooped up her Froakie once more and ran down the street, Spirit and Yuki following close behind. It didn't take long at all to turn a corner and leave Gio behind her, out of sight. "Whew!" she exclaimed, "That was a close one...It's so weird feeling having someone watching you battle and stay so quiet..Plus, I get the feeling he was trying to rush me out of town for some weird reason..."[- -]Spirit nuzzled against the girl's leg, clearly not minding their separation from the boy. she replied, [- -]If not for the Espeon's warning, Cedrbera would have been caught by surprise by the adorable little Ralts that made it's way around the corner of the building and into the alley she was catching her breath in. "Oooh, look at that! It's so cute! I want one!" she said with a bit of a giggle, "This'll be a good chance to use Venom again! Come on out! Help me catch this little guy!"[- -]Venom popped out of his ball when called and nuzzled Cerbera's other leg, looking up at her for instruction. At her request, the Seviper nodded and slithered over to the young Ralts. It quickly surrounded the other pokemon and gave it a lick from bottom to top.[- -]Clearly, that was too much for the Ralts, and it dropped lick a sack of potatoes. Berrie was quick with her pokeball, but in her excitement, threw a bit too hard and missed completely. Her second try was right on target, however, and the Ralts was soon hers. "Awesome job, Venom!" she exclaimed, hugging the snake tightly, "You did wonderfully!"[-

Plus, in their current venue, they were all top-notch. "Come on, guys," she said, "Let's get out of here and get something to eat!" She got up, letting Venom hang around outside the pokeball with the others and headed further down the alley. As they made their way back out onto the street, something nearby began to growl at the little party. Cerbera turned with a gasp to see another Litleo, but this one looked rather angry. "Oh boy..I don't think he plans to just let us go," she said, "Venom get him. Give 'em a good licking!"[- -]Venom hissed, slithering over to the angry Litleo and lashing out with it's tongue. While clearly upset and hurt by the blow, the tiny lion didn't lock up like the girl was hoping.[- -]The litleo growled more loudly and lunged at the disgusting snake, knocking it over and pinning it. "Ah! No, Venom!" Cerbera cried out, "Use poison tail!"[- -]The Seviper's tail began to glow a sickly color and used the bladed part to slash at the lion's back sending it tumbling, unconscious.[- -]"Ah, thank goodness!" Cerbera said, relieved that her Seviper didn't seem to be hurt too bad. She ran over to the snake, pulling a potion out and treating her pokemon's wounds.[-

The girl huged him tight, petting the snake along it's back. You're doing great so far," she said, "We're definitely going to get you something special when we get to the restaurant, to celebrate!" The Seviper seemed very pleased with that and nuzzled the girl eagerly. However, before they could go anywhere, a little blue pokemon came bouncing along, chittering angrily at them from where the Litleo had fainted. "Oh gosh! Is it trying to avenge it's friend?" she asked, gasping a bit, "Don't let your guard down just cos it looks weak...I bet he's got some spunk! Use poison tail!"[- -]Venom nodded, reluctantly slipping from his trainer's grasp and turning to face the little blue challenger instead. It hissed threateningly as it's tail glowed, and a moment later, slashed out at the Azurill. One blow was all it took to knock the little guy out.[- -]Remembering something her father had told her, about how pokemon like this were special in certain ways, reached for a Friend Ball instead of a basic Pokeball. -]With the immediate threat's out of the way, Cerbera was finally able to get to the cafe that she'd spotted earlier on the way to the gym. It was a quaint little shop with some outdoor seating, and Cerbera claimed onje of the outdoor tables for herself and her friends. Once she'd set down her bag, the girl let out the rest of her friends that were cooped up in the pokeballs, giving each one a tight, snuggly hug. It took more than a few minutes for all of them to settle down around the table and to stop causing a ruckus, but once they were calm, Berrie flagged down the waiter. She ordered some snacks for everybody, as well as a more substantial meal for herself. The eight of them spent the next hour or so really enjoying themselves and bonding as a family as they filled their bellies. When the food was finally gone, Cerbera recalled everyone except for Yuki, Spirit, and Loofah. She gave each of them extra snuggles and a kiss on the cheek after paying for their meal, and the four of them set off again to check out the shops, finally.[-

-]Cerbera took her time browsing the shops on the city's main streat. There were a lot of interesting window displays, with tons and tons of flashy items for sale. There were pretty flowers, interesting pokemon tools, some toys...but what really caught Cerbera's eye were the Kalos souvenirs. She ended up buying a small Santalune trinket for her parents, thinking it would be nice to get them something from each city she beat a gym at. The last thing she got before taking a break from shopping was a flashy pair of roller blades. She'd always wanted a pair so she figured, why not? With her new skates on, Cerbera lifted Loofah back up onto her head and told her, "Hold on tight up there, we're going to be going fast!" She nodded to both Spirit and Yuki, making sure they'd be able to keep up, and then skated off down the street. She was having a great time, doing spins and such to try out her new purchase. She only stopped when she heard the rustling of something in the bushes nearby. Waiting for a moment, the girl saw another Azurill hop out of the shrub and Berrie called out her Fletchling. "Okay, Come on out, Quill! You can get this little guy. Tackle him!"[- -]The Fletchling cried out as it was summoned and flapped its way up into the air. She circled for a moment or two to get up to speed and then dove once she had the Azurill in her sights. Quill rammed into the little pokemon, knocking it senseless.[-

Berry stroked her pokemon's head, a wide grin spread on her face. "That was a great job, Quill," she told the bird, "You're doing wonderfully." As she praised the Fletchling, the battle's noise drew the attentions of another pokemon. It was announced before it could be seen by more rustling from the bush. "Are you ready to go again, Quill?" Cerbera asked, "It looks like we're getting another challenger. Go for it!" She tossed her pokemon up into the air to get it back into flight just as a Riolu burst out of the bush, breaking a few of the branches in the process. It looked at the fallen Azurill, looked at Berrie, and it glared. "Quill! Tackle it!" Cerbera called out, unwilling to let a challenge like that go.[- -]Quill let out a cry of acknowledgement and dove straight for the pokemon. Apparently, it hadn't been expecting something to come for it from above and the Fletchling slammed into the Riolu hard, sending it sliding backwards a few feet. It looked as though the Riolu may hang on, but a second later it collapsed.[- -]As if on autopilot, Cerbera's hand reached for an empty ball from her belt and she tossed it at the Riolu. It barely even shook once before locking down with the tiny fighter trapped inside. Riolu was hers![-
