XMX Medic XMX oNaruto__Hyugao XMX Medic XMX Alright. How would you suggest I should do if wanting to use Steam like Han ? Would I go make a custom for armor. Would I go make a Custom Kekkei Genkai. Or other course of action. Well I'm not a qualified mod but I'll give you some information... "Han wears this Steam Armour (蒸気の鎧, Jōki no Yoroi) in order to use his steam-based ninjutsu. Along with covering his entire body, the armour contains a furnace in its back, where the steam is produced. The pressure resulting from this emitted steam can then be used to increase the force behind Han's physical attacks.[1] The exact amount of force produced is proportional to the quantity of steam released, as the greater the volume of steam utilised, the larger the pressure that can be built up within the armour is. For example, when a significant amount was used, just a simple kick was capable of knocking both Naruto Uzumaki and Killer B, who only caught the former, a large distance away." - Naruto Wiki In other words, Steam Release is as good as regular water release heated up by a machine on your back or "non-elemental style" as any. So "steam-release" is really just water release that's heated. It's not even Boil Release or bloodline based, it's just suiton release that's heated which equals "steam-release" seems good. No problem (How's that for settling conflict Roxas? smile )

From what I understand, Boil release is legal. Why don't you?
Also, what the hell did I miss?

Also, sorry I've been away, I've been working real hard on some music stuff.
What if I want to make a Boil Release that's different, like an Acid Release? Last time I RPED here my character used BOIL Release, poisons, and Sound Release but I think I can mix the three through a toxic release or some sort of acid release instead of a water +fire mix like an earth + wind + yang combo which equals "miasma release" like it says here: list of elemental combinations in Naruto and it wouldn't be overpowered because "miasma release" is basically earth + wind and in Naruto there's yet to be an earth + win combo. ProofI say do it and then wait for someone more qualified than myself like a mod to look it over. It just sounds like a different bloodline. Nothing OP imo

*sighs lightly* The conflict was already over, Grogan talked to us both, it's why I didn't post any further.
As for everyone else, I'm not demanding, simply asking, but could we please drop this whole subject on the Boil/steam release thing. It's caused enough problems today for a lot of people and I'm going to apologize because I did go at it a little... harsh. Today has most definitely not been the easiest day ever for me. [ and lets face it, I'm probably PMSing a bit.]

Naruto, you're not a moderator. Please don't. I've just had to tell Utsu off for it and now you're doing the same thing. I will deal with it. We're not shooting down creativity at all, we're actually trying to help people by making it so they do not have to go through a really long application and custom process when they can have what they want anyway.
Medic, you can either use steam release without the armour or with the armour, you don't have to make a custom clan because we already accept it; all you'd have to do is use a custom clan name because we don't actually have a clan for it. However, Steam release would not be a custom Kekkei Genkai. So, there are two ways you could apply steam in battle, you could use it like Hidden Mist but hot in order to wear down opponents and use it in a similar way to wind jutsu or you could use it as Han does as a means of propulsion for his Taijutsu. It really depends what you want. However, to use it in Han's way you need the armour in order to funnel the steam to the right places. It's like a train almost, they funnel the steam to the necessary places to create the movement.
Ashley, Triple Elemental mixes, for now are reserved for Kekkei Tota and to be honest most of those combinations make little to no sense what so ever. Even in Naruto there is some form of logic and Miasma release would be similar to poison release anyway... And people are aware that Miasmas aren't real, right? They were a belief disproved by germ theory. So, why would their be a release for it, it kind of makes sense but it would be more appropriate to make a poison release than a Miasma release. Acid release is more plausible too. I hope this is helpful.

???....um....steam jutsu's are not bloodlines....
kinda walked into this conversation...but...if that is what is being implied....I can quickly disprove it with a manga link
kakashi has a steam jutsu. he used it against yakazu....think thats his name....five heart Frankenstein dude

kesuke uchiha ???....um....steam jutsu's are not bloodlines.... kinda walked into this conversation...but...if that is what is being implied....I can quickly disprove it with a manga link kakashi has a steam jutsu. he used it against yakazu....think thats his name....five heart Frankenstein dude dangit.... well...the translation I used had kakashi using steam based jutsu...this one is just water based but still....steam is quite simple and should not be a bloodline limit. maybe...like super strong steam jutsus or immunity to steam....yeah...stuffs like that

In the Naruto wiki it says that Han uses "steam-release" which I believe is just water release heated up by the machine on his back, I don't think it's Yugeton or Boil Release if that's what you're implying...

Yugeton = Steam Release and Han's armour may use it like that, we don't really know even the Naruto Wiki is really vague because we haven't really seen much of Han at all. It could be because of the furnace on his back or whatever it depends. Maybe he can use Steam Release but needs that armour to control it properly. There's too many variables to maker a definite ruling and with people wanting to use steam after Strom 3 but being all iffy about Han's armour it would be easier to make it a Kekkei genkai.

Well okay I guess.. though I'm pretty sure that using heated water would give me the same results as a "steam-release" bloodline. The water molecules just changed their state of matter from liquid to gas though you could argue if that were the case then the Hyouton bloodline would simply be water release which it's not...
Then AGAIN there's a snow-release I believe that is in the Naruto movies and is not exactly a bloodline either and is definitely water based so... idk
If it gets made into a bloodline all I'm saying is, don't blame me if I use a suiton technique that releases heat because I sorta have one of those in my profile.
