'Near future' can be a week from now, a month from now, a year from now. In the interest of expedient information availability, will you bullet-point list the fourth stage metrics that are not presently included in the fourth guidelines thread? This will make the information available publicly for players without taking much away from staff time, for as was stated, staff has already supplied this information in some form or another in alternate channels.
Because this is an update that is slated to happen within the next few weeks, and because we are actively working on expanding information and updating it, we ask for a bit more patience. As with any update to the shop, the management staff must first draft, revise, and approve it before it can be released. We cannot give an abbreviated version of this information prior to its approval, which will only occur at the final stage of discourse. After discussion has concluded, the information will be posted in full. We do not have a guaranteed release date because we are also working on some time sensitive end of the year events, but this is something we are very actively pursuing and intend to make public as soon as we can.
Please understand that there are not specific metrics; obtaining a fourth stage does not have quantifiable requirements and our guidelines are more a standard of what the character and player must represent. Our update to the information thread and guidelines for fourth stage will be a clarification and expansion of the existing information and creating a bulleted list, especially before the approval process has concluded, will not do it justice. The goal is to provide more information, not simplify it.
Anyone looking to earn fourth should keep their eyes peeled for our announcement. In the mean time, we encourage everyone to have fun--play your characters, run your plots, and be kind to each other!

With the update of the ability to rank up after double/multiple side swaps, how is the acquiring of art handled when characters are eligible to 'grow'? Are they treated like alt art, in which the player has to purchase them via crown tokens, customs, or credits?
Players are only guaranteed three stages of art per character so if they are doing a multi-side swap and are prepared to grow again (once requirements are completed and the plot has been approved for them to grow), a player is welcome to purchase alt powered art for the new stage.

What happens when a Nega pushes (or attempts to) their brand of chaos into a Dark Mirror starseed? Does the mirror seal repeal it or is it possible to say overload them and youmafy them?
If a Nega attempts to push their Chaos into a Dark Mirror starseed, it will be repelled by the Mirror Seal; any chaotic energy will be absorbed by the Seal and will filter right into Mirrorspace. It is impossible to reach the starseed to corrupt it.
OOCly, if the Negaverse could youmafy the DMC they could easily hunt them down and youmafy in order to eradicate them and force allegiance, so this isn't a mechanic we will likely ever introduced.

Knight question: If two unpowered siblings from a Descended Knight line were in danger, is it possible for the Knight's object to appear to both of them? Or is the next-in-line knight already chosen in advance?
Eg. Both siblings see the object. One is scared and turns away at the critical moment. The other takes the object and becomes the knight. (The unpowered sibling wouldn't actually witness the transformation, so no identity issues.) Possible or not?
If two unpowered siblings from a Descended Knight line were in danger, the object would only appear in front of the eldest sibling. Even if the eldest runs away in fear, the younger would not be able to see it to claim it, sorry!

Hey a few theoretical questions: 1. Can a youma who's never been a human (ICly in shop) purify since they have starseeds? 2. What would they be if they purified: Senshi, Knight, or something else entirely like the Trio? 3. If they can, what are the requirements? 1. 'Straight to Youma' characters (such as premade youma won in events/characters who are first introduced to the shop as youma) can purify, however there are some restrictions. All youma first started as humans and were the turned into youma. While they can purify out, for a youma to be a PC, they must have been youmafied within the past five years, cannot be a Greater Youma, and cannot have meta information.
2. A youma can purify into a civilian or any (non rare) order faction. To touch on our FAQ answer: (I have a straight to youma character. What sort of backstory can I give them if I want them to purify? Can they have been a Senshi or Knight?), "Straight to youma characters will be handled on a case by case basis; generally they can have been unpowered civilians who were youmafied within the past five years or they can be powered characters that were youmafied almost immediately upon awakening, but can only have been a youma for the past year. You cannot reserve a name or sphere/wonder if you win a Straight-to-youma character; you can only say that they were powered (with staff approval). Please consider that your character cannot have a backstory that would give them an advantage to other characters who are freshly awakened!" Long story short, you will need to get this plot approved, but you could purify a youma into a civilian or any order faction (sans chibi senshi, since they are uncorruptable, and Mauvians).
3) The only requirement is that you fill out the form in the side swap thread and we'll try to work with you to develop your character how you'd like!

Why don't DMS Royalty have their knights ( or their verison of knights) or corrupted theirs? This question has been answered in a previous ask already!
To reiterate, theoretically all fourth stage senshi can have Knights, but in order for Knights to awaken the senshi's homeworld must be alive/they must be connected to it. Corrupted Senshi and Dark Mirror Senshi do not have a bond with their planet so unless they purified they would not have access to Knights and no players could quest for them.
Along those lines, if a Prince/Princess were to corrupt the Knights who were awakened prior to the corruption would still be able to function. While their unique power themes come from the planet of their Prince/Princess their magic is tied to the Code Piece on the planet and not the planet itself. No new Knights could awaken, however, as the Code Pieces would not resonate/awaken without the planet being alive.

Your Answer Brings more Questions.
What do you mean by the Planet being 'alive'?
For the sake of In the Name of the Moon cannon a homeworld is considered 'alive' when there is a link between it and its Senshi. When a Senshi is affected by Chaos energy (such as a Corrupted Senshi or a Dark Mirror Senshi), the energy exchange that permits a homeworld to thrive is severed and thus the homeworld is considered 'dead' for the sake of spawning Knights.

If two unpowered siblings from a Descended Knight line were in danger, the object would only appear in front of the eldest sibling. Even if the eldest runs away in fear, the younger would not be able to see it to claim it, sorry! How does this work with long established canon families of descended knights? There are multiple families in shop already that have children who have awakened before their parents, or older cousins, who would according to the age requirement stated here been more in precedent and made the awakening impossible. For example ( and this is only an example and not in any way meant to harp on any character owned or storyline played by Guine or Sunny): The Gallos. Paradise and Empyrean, being the oldest members of the bloodline and within awakening rights should have been Valhalla and Sessrumnir long before their sons according with the IC ramifications of this MQ&A answer. OOCly, it would be difficult to require players to plan out years ahead of time the exact acquisitions of the bloodlines for families 1000 years after and which wonders would accept who in what order. Knights are able to awaken well into adult years- what is the determining factor on the opposite end that is allowing the hypothetical older sibling to pick up the mantle if there are parents alive of the bloodline that should then be inheriting? It has long since been established that the oldest viable heir in a descended Knight line will inherit the mantle, so while this has been canon for many years we understand that sometimes players decide to quest for older relatives after a character awakens as a Knight. While Loki is the most recent person to ask a question related to inheriting wonders, this answer was ICly established well before it came up in this context. Because this is not a new ruling on our end, but because we don't want to prohibit older family members from awakening after a younger family member, we have a proposal to ICly explain things. It does require some cooperation from the player in regard to past life things, but it is fairly easy to work with and still offers a lot of wiggle room for plots.
As bloodlines merged, being predestined as able to inherit a wonder may be more likely for one descendant than another. For example, a mother with no siblings might carry three bloodlines of Knights in her so she could awaken as any of them, but the would be most eligible to inherit the oldest Knightless wonder (so the wonder of the first Knight of her ancestors to die). Her firstborn child, who carries her genes, is then most eligible to inherit the second oldest Knightless wonder, or the wonder of the second ancestor of hers to die. Her third child inherits the wonder who has been Knightless for the least amount of time, and who died the most recently.
If Knight Florida, Georgia and Hawaii's bloodlines all eventually merged, and if they died in the order they were listed, the Mother would inherit Florida, firstborn Georgia, third, Hawaii. It would be possible for her children to awaken before her because their wonder called out to them before her wonder called out to her. If she awakened, and then died, her children would carry her genes for the wonder, but it would become the third wonder in terms of priority because it was the most recent.
We realize that there are still possible plot holes, but we need players to work with us to allow some wiggle room in order to allow older family members to awaken. Our explanation is meant to provide IC justification for a possible work around so no one feels like they are breaking rules or cannot plot to awaken an older family member.
For the sake of Loki's question, a Knight item can only appear in front of one person at a time; while another person may see it, only the person it appeared for can touch it. This is to prevent other people from taking a Knight's weapon (which powers them up when they touch it) and 'stealing' wonders.

As full youma do have the ability to maintain 'civilian' glamour, here are some questions regarding that;
As it requires a significant amount of energy, how long can they hold the glamour? Is it the same 3 hours that half-youma are allotted?
How does glamor for them work, are they able to pull it over themselves or is it something that has to be 'given' to them by an officer?
Do personal youma have the ability to maintain civilian glamour?
How does it effect feral youma vs humanoid youma? Are feral youma capable of donning civilian glamor and just being a feral looking human?
How does it work with straight to youma characters who don't have an established backstory? The information on youma stated that they can be a civilian who was turned into a youma within the last 5 years (is that specific to the current timeline OR is that within the last 5 years of their acquisition?) or an ambiguous powered character within the last year, do these 'civilian' glamours in this case need to be plot-approved?
Full youma are allowed to hold the glamour for the same three hours as half-youma!
Youma can pull the glamour over themselves but typically they will need permission from a higher ranking officer to do this as it costs an extreme amount of energy and would be looked up as wasteful otherwise. Even feral youma can pull the glamour over themselves.
Personal youma can maintain civilian glamour for the same three hours as other youma and half youma, regardless of if they are feral or humanoid!
Feral youma can don a civilian glamour in the same was as humanoid youma can; they will appear human but will not necessarily act human. Most feral youma won't ever be given permission to don a civilian guise because it takes a lot of energy but ultimately they are not convincing humans because of their feral nature. In some cases a feral youma might be able to act human for long enough to be approved for this, but while their external appearance may be human, they are still mentally feral youma.
Straight to youma characters are the same as other youma characters; they still get to don a glamour in the exact same way. The rule is that they must have been turned into a youma within the five years prior to their acquisition. Typically, as long as they weren't celebrities, they don't need civilian glamour approved. If they are an every day character, their glamour would function in the same way as other youma.

Hello! The cert for my character is gone, um, can i have it back? Link to character While in most instances we might not be able to find your cert, we did manage to locate yours. You can find it here but please make sure you save it and host it to your own account! If you lose a cert in the future, you can always post in this thread and submit a request.
Sometimes the staff member who is doing certs changes hands and urls change, are abandoned, or deleted; it takes a lot of bandwith from our staff members if players direct link to the certs we provide so to circumvent that we ask that once the players recieve the cert, they save it and host it to whatever domain they like and only link to the art they host. To avoid losing your cert (or art) in the future, please make sure you save all of your art! We cannot guarantee that the links for dropped art will be permanent so this is the only way to ensure you have a working link.

For powered characters that are pregnant,
How does Energy draining effect a pregnant powered character? If they are drained, does it harm the child?
Second: If they are starseeded, would a childs starseed sustain them longer or would they suffer the same consequences?
How does Negaverse or Dark mirror teleportation/mirror walking effect a pregnant character? IE: Negaverse agent teleports Civilian A that is 6 months pregnant. Does it make them more susceptible to sickness?
What happens if a transcendent senshi gets pregnant, do they suffer withdrawals from their planet because they can't power up?
(Also if they are transcendent, does their child inherit any kind of resistance to starseed grabs when they are older? Like does being transcendent effect the baby as well?)
Energy draining will only affect the child if the draining causes physical harm to the mother. Otherwise, it is akin to general fatigue as energy draining typically does not cause harm unless the individual is drained completely dry.
There is no noticeable difference on teleportation or mirror walking while in a pregnant state. Characters already prone to motion sickness may feel additional disorientation but there is no across the board change from how a character would normally feel while undergoing magical transportation.
As a pregnant mother is physically unable to transform, she is not penalized for not visiting her planet despite being a Transcendent senshi because she no longer has the choice to do so. The withdrawals will begin to take effect anywhere from a few weeks to two months after the baby is born, allowing the mother recovery time from childbirth.
Children of Transcendent characters do not inherit any resistance to starseed grabs; the act of transcending is a personal choice a character makes with their wonder or home world so it is unique to the individual's starseed, not their bloodline.

What OS do the Negaverse tablets run on? If an agent wanted to create an application for the Negaverse tablets, what coding language would they need to work in? Are the tablets considered mautech and if so, would the agent need mauvian help to translate the code?
The tablets are indeed run on mautech, an OS created specifically for the Negaverse, called chaOS. If character wants to create an app they can use whatever coding language they would like, the formatting of the tablet can accommodate any recognized coding language, but it is always helpful to have a Mau with you to get started if you don't have much experience with coding!

Following up on the pregnant senshi questions: • At what point is a senshi unable to power up? Is it at the moment of conception or at like... the first trimester mark? Or at some other point entirely? There is some information on pregnancies in the first paragraph of this post!
Powered characters that become pregnant lose the ability to power up within three to four weeks of conception, when they begin to notice symptoms of pregnancy.

The information on royal knights states: "Its real purpose is the ability to purify agents of the Negaverse (not senshi). When a Negaverse officer wants to be purified a Royal Knights may assist by 'knighting' the person with their sword. They even have the ability to find a wonder for a Negaverse agent that didn't have a past life as a knight."
Does this mean that royal knights can only purify negaverse into knights? Are they able to purify DMC and corrupted senshi (or corrupted cats?) If so, why are they limited to one type of purification only when royal senshi have the ability to purify any faction?
Royal senshi already have additional boosts that royal knights do not have (the ability to have knights as well as switch back and forth between prince(ss) and eternal), why limit royal knights further by denying them full purification abilities? (this is null and void if they can purify all types of chaos)
This is an oversight from our last round of updating! Royal Knights should be able to purify all Chaos that Royal Senshi can! We will correct this in the information thread by the end of the week!

1.) Can a Order Mau diminish the energy signature of a Chaos agent?
Mauvians can only diminish the energy of someone who is the same side as they are; Order Mauvians can only shield Order characters and Chaos Mauvians can only shield Chaos characters.
2.) What is available in the Negaverse Barracks? Are the kitchens routinely stocked or would it be up to the agent to feed themselves and supply their own food? Do they have updated appliances? Are their common areas and internet?
The Negaverse provides a livable environment, but it is not luxurious. They are similar to college dorms in structure and appearance. The kitchens are available and stocked with staple food products for agents who live there, though an agent may also request specific things. Agents could be tasked to use Negaverse funds to make shopping runs, though they would have to be at least Captain stage to allow for easy teleportation. The Agents in the barracks are taken care of; the appliances are all standard and not luxury models, however it would not be unheard of for Mauvians to tinker to improve these.
There aren't many places considered 'common areas', though kitchens may have tables to eat at to allow for companionship. The barracks are designed to be livable, but not necessarily with social interaction in mind.
Wi-Fi is available within the barracks thank to Mauvian technology, and while there might be an odd room or so in the Castle that has Wi-Fi, due to the continuous electrical/chaos storms in the area these are rare and, outside of the barracks, connection is unreliable.
3.) Since there are barracks, offices, and medical units in the Negaverse HQ, could a hakf-youma/agent be allowed to work for meager pay or to justify their living expenses while at the barracks by doing assigned work like cleaning, fetching, and other times of labor?
Generally, Agents would be expected to do these duties as commanded without expecting compensation. However, Half-Youma, who cannot as easily find work, could receive an additional stipend. That being said, a character can also apply for financial aid through the Negaverse, and depending on your reasoning, they would supply you with it.
A budget can be submitted to the Negaverse for evaluation if compensation is needed, and financial bonuses can be awarded to those with a good rapport.
4.) Is it possible to use the existing rubble to create new buildings in the Rift?
Yes, but this would need staff approval first, as the Rift is incredibly dangerous. If a character knows enough about construction, there is plenty of available materials to construct something.
5.) Would a half-youma understand youma both humanoid and feral better?
Half-youma are more connected with an animalistic/beastly nature than Humans are, but this does not provide an adequate enough comprehension to understand Full Youmas better, humanoid or feral. A Half-youma character may feel closer to them, and associate with full youma, but it does not give any boost with any youma interaction.
