"Mireen, how does everything look outside?" Xel asked into his comlink. As the team rushed to get out of the base.

"One second, sir." She replied as the sound of her sniper rifle followed. "They seem to be favoring your point of entry since they can't find the guards."

"What about the extraction points?"

"Alpha and Bravo are hot, sir. Echo has to many patrols to go through. I would suggest either Charlie or Foxtrot," she said looking over the potential escape routes through her scope.

"Meet us at extraction point Foxtrot then. Be careful out there." Xel decided.

"Will do, sir. I'll see you at Foxtrot." Mireen signed off as she began to make her way towards the LZ.

Xel then contact their lift out of there, "Come in Liberty. Come in Liberty. This is Gamma, over.

"I have your signal Gamma. What's the situation, over?" called the pilot.

"We have completed our objectives and are headed towards extraction point Foxtrot." Xel replied.

"Roger that, Gamma. I'm making my way towards the LZ. ETA, fifteen minutes."

"Copy, Liberty. See you then," Xel signed off. Now they just needed to get out of there.

Viz suddenly stopped the team, "Tangos ahead, sir. A squad of them. They've spotted us and are taking defensive positions."

"Open fire," was all that he said as he shot down two enemy soldiers before taking cover. The two forces started to exchange fire with the Freedom Warriors thinning the Sith forces. This is taking to long Xel thought. He pulled out a grenade and primed it. After two second he tossed the grenade, "Grenade out!" The grenade exploded almost as soon as hit the floor by the remaining soldiers.

"Move up," commanded Xel as the team kept moving forward towards the escape. Their advance proceeding pausing only to check the corners they passed.

Almost out, they found that some of the Sith forces had set up a defensive position near the exit.

"Sir, Tangos to the left!" the zabrak reported as he looked in the side hallway.

"Sir, more to the right!" Jen exclaimed as the Correlian checked the opposite hallway.

They soon found out how this group had manged to cut them off as Soap warned motioning to two Sith acolytes, "Two Snakes dead ahead sir."

The team immediately open fire on the Sith staying behind the corners of the side hallways. The two Sith smiled at first expecting blasterfire, but soon realized their folly as a slug penetrated one's arm and the others leg before they escaped behind cover. The first acolyte reappeared and charged at the team using the force to aid his speed. He managed to close the gap as the fireteam failed to hit the rapidly approaching Sith. He stopped right in front of Soap, preparing to bring his glowing red saber with his good arm. In the blink of an eye Xel drew his revolver and fired two shots. Both of Zalera powerful slugs stopped the Sith as they ripped through his chest. The Sith stood like statue in disbelief over what had happened for a second before Viz finished the job with the shotgun attachment on his MS12 Carbine.

Quickly Xel replaced the two shots he had used with of Zalera with explosive rounds, as Jen and Soap laid suppression fire into the side hallways. The second acolyte hampered by his leg, stayed behind his cover and attempted to use Force Lightning. Xel aimed his revolver and fired the explosive rounds at the Sith. The first shot hit the corner while the second hit the acolyte in the side. After the smoke cleared, the Sith was mostly unrecognizable. Now to take care of the Sith soldiers.

"Sir, switching to grenade launcher," Soap said.

"Great thinking, but wait to use a flashbang first," Xel advised while switching to the grenade luncher attachment on his carbine. "Throw the flashbang on three then wait for my mark. One, two, THREE!"

The grenades bounced into hallway and exploded with a brilliant flash of light. "GO!" Xel commanded as the two fired their grenade launchers into the opposite ends of the hallway. The incendiaries did their job well; pushing back whatever forces had survived the blasts. "Let's get out of here. Move." Xel instructed.

Xel stopped as they reached the exit. "Keep moving. I'll catch up soon. Make your way to point Foxtrot." Xel pulled out the detonator to the explosives that the fireteam had planted earlier and activated it. A smile crawled across the Duros face, as the explosions tore the base asunder. The job now complete with the base thrown into complete chaos, he followed the path taken by his squad members.

Katarra gave one last glare at the man, before turning on heel, and pulling her cloak's hood back up over her snowy white fur, following the young woman down the street and out of the library.

She whuffed a comment, wryly glancing over her shoulder to make sure the little twerp wasn't following them.

It didn't take them long to make their way to the hangar bay, with Katarra glancing over her back now and then to make sure they weren't being followed. If she so much as saw a hair of his head, her bowcaster would be out in a flash.

The hangers were crowded with many ships this time of day, and hers was sitting there, the repairs going well as they approached. It was a modified freighter, it's silver hull painted a dull faded red color in places, with white stripes. It was obvious she was proud of it, as she grinned and growled a comment to her newest companion. The ship and she had seen alot of action together, that was sure. The repairs would take only a few more hours she estimated, and then they could make preparations to depart.

As Melissa walked, she listened as the wookiee whuffed.
“I wouldn’t be too worried about it, seeing as we is on the border of Sith and Mandie controlled space I don’t think anyone would care if some jedi wound up face down in the gutter.”

As they entered, the repair bay that housed the wookiee’s ship along with others that were, undergoing repairs or modification the hanger was a buzz of activity. Looking at the dilapidated freighter Melissa ran her eyes over the faded paint on the hull, along with some carbon scoring and micro-meteor impacts it looked space worthy, and jugging by the oversized cowling over the engine compartment it was a fast ship. Melissa looked back up as the wookiee growled an introduction at her.
“Well Katarra, nice to meet you, and with any luck your Kalkazza will be ready to break atom and head into the black by the end of the day-“ Melissa was cut off by a gruff old man in greasy cover-alls that was standing under Katarras ship with a hydro-spanner in hand.

“Hay Melissa, you’re late!” he yelled at her. “We need you to check the avionics; they took a good jarring when she hit the ground.”

“Okay pops, I’m here now, no need to blow a gasket.” She yelled back at him as she walked closer to the ship. “Time to go to work.” She told Katarra as she grabbed up a tool belt off one of the tool carts that were sitting around the ship. “Walk me up to the cockpit?” she asked Katarra.
PostPosted: Mon Jan 28, 2008 6:19 pm

Katarra grinned at Melissa, glancing over at the mechanic who called to her. While she was a fair mechanic herself, she still was only good at jury-rigging her ship.

She whuffed a response and guestured for the woman to follow her. They traveled up the ramp and into the belly of the ship. Most of it was still intact, only a few things jarred loose inside. The damage was mostly on the exterior and within the ships systems. Katarra led Melissa into the ship, and guestured to the cockpit. Her altered chair, extra large for her frame, sat still turned backwards, and she sat down and began to flip on the computer systems to do some diagnostics, but kept the engines off. With a strech, she got up and guestured for Melissa to take over, then headed back towards the quarters section.

Calliga responded with teasing smile while his eyes were closed. "I might have given you such a opportunity again tonight, but it seems your mistress and my little outing are quite a handful. But don't worry...I'll get back to you.... perhaps when you least expect it, heh."
That thought said, the Sith warrior-for that was what he was becoming, as opposed to a mere acclodyte-let himself rest among the soft pillows, and the even softer pair on the bed with him.
power....pleasure...passion.... perhaps this new triangle could become something that could topple the old, crumbling sith order and build a more solid one in it's place...
That was a pleasing thought.

You Will Never Be A Man

Takamura shook his head before he began walking to the hanger. He knew who's ship it was, that wasn't why he had addressed the question to the girl. The reason for that was because he had seen her around the hanger, she never saw him, he tended to keep to the shadows, as he did now. He was far enough behind the pair so that if the wookiee had suspicions that they were being followed they were out of caution, and not actual threat. Using the force to mask his approach to the hanger he managed to sneak aboard the wookiee's freighter, relatively unnoticed by anyone outside, and long after both of them had become throughly engrossed in their duties to notice. He immediately made his way to the engine compartment and began work, first reaching out with the force to identify any problems. After a few deep breaths he identified a small catch in the hyperdrive, and a few minor modifications that could be made to increase efficiency a tiny bit. It wouldn't be much, but Takamura knew any improvement was a good one. He pulled a small tool kit from his pocket and began working.

As Melissa sat down in the over sized seat she looked back up at the wookiee over her shoulders.
“Well the sudden stop can play hell with a few of the systems, but we should be ably to recalibrate it. As for her being temperamental,” she said as she turned back to hook up her hand scanner to the ship OBD system. “We’ll have to deal with that as it comes.” Inserting the proper chip for the make and model of the ship into her scanner, she pushed a few buttons, and all of the meters, dials, and gauges came alive in the cockpit.
“Huh, oh okay, I’ll wake you when we’re done or if we need you for something.” She answered, tapping one of the gauges with her finger.
Setting her headset comlink to the frequency of the crew out side of the ship, she keyed up the mike.
“Ok, you hear me?” she asked.

“Loud and clear, ready when you are.” the response came.

“Ok, starting off with sea-level to 10,000 meters.” She punched a few buttons on the scanner and looked over the control boards of the ship. A few of the gauges were off and needed to be recalibrated, she noted down witch ones and reset them. The rest showed as if the ship was flying at the proper altitude. “How’s it out there?” she asked.

“Systems nominal, everything is working.”

“Shinny, going to 10,000 to 30,000 meters above,” again n the cockpit systems moved to their respective places. She double-checked the ones that had been off at the previous altitude. “How’s it now?”

“All good.”

“Shinny, 30,000 meters pulse.” The gauges showed as if the ship was leaving atmosphere and heading into space. “And now?”

“Still all good.”

“Ok, let’s do a run to jump.” She said through her comlink as she pushed a few more buttons on her scanner and watched the ships gauges move as if the ship had just entered hyperspace, but as the ship finished the translation from real space to hyper, a red light appeared on her scanner. “Hay, you got someone working on the hyperdrive?” she asked.

“No, why?” came the response.

“Really?” she muttered as she wondered what could possible be throwing up a red light on her scanner. Turning the oversized chair around she stared towards the aft of the ship wonder what was wrong.
Standing bolt upright, she stomped out of the cockpit, leaving her scanner on the council. She had felt this presence and emotional turmoil before, and not all that long ago.
“Pop’s. You read me?” she asked across her link.

“Yeah, what’s up?” the old man replied.

“Call port authority, I do believe that we got us a trespasser.” Not wanting to listen to the old mans colorful metaphors she removed her head set, but could still here his voice through the tinny speakers.
As Melissa made her way aft she stopped at Katarras cabin door, raping her knuckles on it she said. “I think we have a stowaway on board.”
PostPosted: Tue Jan 29, 2008 4:13 pm

Katarra streched her long arms over her head as she slumped her way towards the crew quarters, exiting the cockpit and passing through the lounge area, glancing at the hyperdrive engines before she headed right to her bunk. She had taken extra care in crafting it, extending the usual two pairs, into one long bunk in the bottom, and two on top. This way she could strech out fully and not be cramped. She collapsed into the bed, and yawned, laying there and just enjoying the peace and quiet for a time. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd gotten a nap, between the crash, the hike, and then being on this planet, she estimated it had been over a day.

She closed her eyes, and felt her mind drifting away into blissful slumber, only to be suddenly awoken by Melissa's tense voice. She rolled over, opening an eye, up in a heartbeat. "[A stowaway?]" She growled, angrily, all sorts of situations running through her head. She didn't even grab her weapons slung over the top bunk, she simply got up, and in several long striding steps, had beat Melissa to the hyperdrive engines, only to see the bane of their existance sitting there TWEAKING with HER ENGINES.

Katarra rarely lost her temper completely. She could remember only enough times to fit on one paw in her 150 years. This added another notch. She began to see red. Her hairy paw was gripped tightly on the bulkhead, as Melissa pushed past her and drew out a strange weapon that emminated light from it's tip into a focused beam, but she didn't even see it. With a massive snarl of rage and anger, she shoved forward past Melissa, almost forcing the woman to hack some generous tufts of hair off from their unwitting victem, and she had him by the throat, slamming him into the nearest bulkhead, held up several feet with his feet dangling off the floor, throat in a tight chokehold with dangerous sharp claws pricking at his neck, begging for Katarra to release her better judgement and use them.

As Melissa came around the corner of a bulkhead, she saw the same sorry excuse of a jedi that had cried his head off at the library after being rejected by the two females. Melissa had had enough of this guy, pulling her saber out from its hidden long coat pocket she angled it down at him and ignited it. The snap-hiss of the weapons activation echoed in the hall way of the ship, the blades glowing silver blade resting just above his shoulder, it hum defining in his ear as the blade curled and crisped a few strands of his hair from it’s close proximity.
“You just don’t listen much now do you. Even when someone tells you to go away! Every jedi has to go through some kind of trials, like the trial of the flesh, spirit, and so on. For the last five years, I’ve been bumming around this here galaxy with no ship and just enough coin in my pocket to eat and sleep in a coffin every night. It ain’t all that hard to get by and if you set your mind to all types of wonderful thing can happen. But you’ve dun gone and burned your bridges with us, right quick too I might add.” She shrugged her shoulders and moved her saber as Katarra came down on him like an avalanche of angry fur.
“Don’t kill him Katarra, just knock him out, and toss him to the port authorities. They should be waiting out side for him right now.”

Siren rested for a while alongside Calliga on his bed. Eventually she nodded off and fell asleep. Time passed and she awoke, feeling refreshed. She woke up her attendent and told her to get ready. The twi'lek quietly went to the comm and gave instructions to bring some clothing for the 2 of them to the room and leave them by the door, so as not to disturb Calliga by trying to enter.

Once done, they waited for Calliga to awaken. Once he was up they would get ready, and then he could see what Siren does to those that oppose her.

Koren ran like a madman from the entrance to the Academy. Sneaking out had been twice as hard as getting in. The bombs had been more than successful. He was almost impressed with his own work, but he remembered how much he expected of himself. No amazing congradulations for himself tonight. He had very little time, as the Sith were probably already searching for the bomber.

As soon as he was out of the immediate are, he sent a remote signal ti his autopilot, which would warmup the systems and activate the lasers, firing on anyone other than him.

All Koren could think about was surviving this chase so that he could see his Clan members. He had to hurry.

Calliga didn't take too long to wake; it was even possible he had been awake when they had gotten up, and just been faking things. Sitting up abruptly, he stood up and stretched.
".....V'rok. That little round of pleasure is a pain in the morning; My ungrateful limbs have gone stiff on me. I'll have to practice more...to get rid of this."
Calliga half-complained, looking up at the still undressed pair over by the door. A amusing thought came to him, and he munipulated the Force with deft motion.
The Twi'lek suddenly gave a slight cry, and looked down; then looked at the sith with slight dissapointment-for a moment, she'd gotten briefly excited when he'd pulled that stunt.
Calliga smiled tauntingly.
"Hey look, siren-No hands. Heh..."
Grabing his bandage-garb, Calliga wrapped it over himself with relative swiftness.
"Y'know, one of these days I'm really gonna have to get a garment that better lends itself to constant shedding and re-dressing..."
That task done, he got up and walked over to them, facing Siren.
"So then...is it time to watch those two ingrates get their just deserts? this should be highly...entertaining..."
Calliga joked darkly, cruelty showing in his words: sith generally liked notions of revenge and punishment for insolence. meanwhile, his hand came up and idly swiped a lock card, opening the door's lock.

The team was waiting at the LZ, staying out of sight with the help of their stealth generators. Mireen had been keeping an eye out for any enemies for any enemies that would try to follow but, it had appeared that most the Sith forces were concerned with trying to save what was left of the base. No one would know where the intruders were till their ship picked them up and by then it would be too late.

"Gamma, this is Liberty, come in," Came a call on the fireteam's com channel. "I'm approaching the landing zone. Be ready to load up.

Xel replied, "Copy that, Liberty. Turning off stealth generators now, confirm you have visual, over."

"Liberty confirming. I have a visual on you Gamma. Touching down now so get your team aboard."

"Affirmative," Xel confirmed as the team got on board the transport. "Everyone's here Liberty, let's head back to base." Xel then pulled out a cigar and lit it as everyone went about their business.

"When are you going to give me one of those, sir?" asked Viz. The Zabrak, Vizig Kanlg, was the best soldier on the team able to accomplish most tasks with the same precision that Xel could. He could also drive any land based vehicle with expert skill. He had been on the same team with Xel for four years and the two knew each other in and out.

"I'll give one to you when you pay for it," Xel replied with a grin. He moved his attention to Mireen and watched as she meticulously take apart her sniper rifle. "Not boring out there for you?"

She gave a smirk and replied, "A little bit, sir, but someone has to keep all of you from getting killed." Mireen Norilles was the teams scout and sharpshooter and had been for about two years. Her sharp eyes had saved the team from running into trouble more times than Xel wanted to admit. Her superior aim had wreaked havoc on enemies with some precision elimination.

Xel then went watched Soap as Soap began to take the grenade luncher attachment off of his carbine. "You did good job out there, Soap, but you need to get quicker with your shot," Xel informed him. Ren "Soap" Nabturus was the youngest and newest member of the team, having only been added a few months ago after passing the selection process and training. Gamma team had often wondered wow he had gotten the nickname "Soap" after they had been introduced to the newcomer, but no one had figured it out yet. The Human's somewhat quiet demeanor didn't help that matter. Even still Soap had proven his reliability in the few months he had spent with the team. His skill was impressive especially for someone fresh out of selection. His aim was already better then Jen's surprisingly enough.

Moving on the Duros turned to Jen who was analyzing the data the had taken. He asked, "Found anything useful on there?"

"Well it should for all the trouble I went through to get it," the Corellian bragged, "but some of it depends on how well the defense of Tett succeeded." Jen Ardtrin was the slicer of the fireteam and a damn good one at that. Her ability to disable security procedures had proven vital for a little under two years now. There were even times when she had been able to turn an enemies automated defenses back on them. Her quick wit served the team quick wit had saved them several times, much to Viz's chagrin.

Xel finished the cigar and started to put his own equipment away as the ship rushed through hyperspace back to base.

" It will take a bit of time, perhaps a day or 2, but what I do to them will prove to be very effective in the end if all goes well. " Siren said, grabbing some clothes and getting dressed once the door was open. " You'll probably learn another powerful effect that comes from passion that can be an effective weapon. I'm sure you'll find it elightening to observe. " her tone was sultry like normal, but slightly more sinister.

Going to the comm, she ordered that the prisoners be prepared for her personal 'interrogation' in the torture chamber. " There now. They should be all setup by the time we get down there. "

That sultry tone was not missed by Calliga, and Siren's cryptic hints about the fate of the Female trophies he'd snagged was enough to get him firmly interested. He almost seemed to have fangs as he replied with a dark grin.
"Oh, I'm counting on that. I'm positive it will be....of interest."
Waiting for them, he then proceeded to follow the Sith Mistress and her assistant out into the maze of cooridors, presumably heading to the locations of the two prisoners he'd taken.
Previously, he'd beheld various means of snapping a beings mind in two; Sith dabbled in such thing's so often it could be called their favorite pastime. Even he himself had gotten creative earlier, Wrenching at the mind of the rebel captured by the police. But that was different than most sith-as he'd learned under Siren's influence, It was indeed possible to use Pleasure offensively. He got the feeling she could take down a entire crowd of jedi....by surrendering. Beings that denied themselves emotions were possibly the easiest prey in existence, having no defense. Calliga suspected that he could paralyze Jedi Guards by projecting his sessions with siren into their minds, but that theory would be hard to test. regardless, the matter at hand was to witness what tool Siren was about to invoke...
