:: At Jade's words, a rush of absolute bliss warmed Kaen's little body. The young woman lived here as well! It was more than likely then, that she not only knew her Niichan, but was friendly with him. It wasn't much of a stretch: Jade seemed a lovely lady and Niichan had a strange attraction about him in the first place. He seemed to gather people, both friendly and hostile, whether he wanted to or not.
She hoped Jade was friendly with him. Throughout her journey, Kaen had to admit that she had harbored the tiniest smidge of jealousy that her brother might have found comrades other than she. The thought that he had left her behind, only to find others to care for, stung. But after such a long travel, the jealousy had worn down, and now was permanently outshone by her relief that he was not alone in this place. That was most important to her. He was, after all, a sad sort of fellow by nature, and loneliness for him was not something she wanted.
Once again, Kaen felt the sentience warm in her; she pushed it aside, only to recoil with a yawn. Embarrassed, she covered her mouth hastily, glancing at both Jade and User apologetically. ::
"Gomen ne. That was rude, yawning like that while you were speaking. I must be sleepier than I thought."
:: That was true. She was surprised she had remained awake long enough to eat, much less inquire as to her brother's whereabouts. No wonder the sentience was pushing at the edges of her conscious. Fighting off another yawn, she smiled up at Jade.::
"I appreciate your kind offer, Jade-san; however, I am quite sure that he is here. I feel his presence here...
So for the time being, I'd just like to get some sleep. Do you know of a place where I could get some rest?"

So tempting, but I just really doubt I'll be able to participate if I join. Unless it isn't starting for something like a month and a half, since school will be out for me by then. School has become too major an issue for me. I'm hesitant to be IC here right now, for a point of reference.

I am Deploying soon, you all have fun with your little online role-playing fighting, I get to do the s**t qwere people actually die and STAY DEAD!
Not really I am going to Isreal(SP) for a ferw weeks to train with the Defense Forces there.
To be Honest I never liked the GTB, it always felt like a smaller version of the HoH and it has the same number of abbrivated letters....3....}}

Jade couldn't help but smile at the little Kaen, as the girl covered her mouth to prevent a yawn.She must be tired, after dragging that large knapsack all around from who-knows-where. Hell, that would even wear Jade out at a point. But the relief on her face was obvious at the mention that she might know Kaen's brother. Who he was, Jade couldn't be sure, as there was a long list of suspects. Even longer if you included the fact that he might not look like Kaen at all. After all, Jade herself called Keno 'Nii-chan', even though they weren't related at all.
She waved off the apology with a smile, seeing no insult in it. The child was tired, as she was getting there as well. Finishing up her apple, Jade tossed the core into a nearby trash bin, before smiling down at her.
"No worries then, we can talk more later. C'mon, I'll take you to the lounge, we've got some comfortable couches there."
The woman gestured to the left side of the kitchen, where it opened up to the wall and an entrance further down. At least it wasn't too far.
"If you plan on staying a while, I could talk to the boss about getting you a permanent room, if you'd like."
