A compliment? She knew what this was, but her mind wasn't focusing on the word at the moment. Her cheeks were flushed with color, and a giggled erupted from her before she could control herself. How embarassing! Her hand quivered touching her cheek gently before allowing it to collpase onto the bar. Soneko thought she was pretty? her insides churned excitedly, a strange feeling for Chrissy. Flirting. Suddenly the word shot back through her head so quick that she nearly fell over after being reminded. He was flirting with her! The exchange of playful intimacy. Keno-san did that to her a lot. She liked it. Chrissy swept up her sweet eyes to look at him, her cheeks still shining with color. The diclonius wasn't as afraid to be mortified around him as she had been when they first met. Being comfortable around him made it so much easier for Christiania.
"Eheh..."
Still she couldn't say much. It was such an unusual occurance for Christiania. Most of the males she had met didn't even take the time to flirt with her. They thought she was a prostitute or something, and the testosterone in their bodies was at astounding levels. Christiania never found out what happened to those men, but she figured Astraea had her way with them. The idea nauseated her a bit-not as much as it had of course. She smiled slightly watching him with wonderous eyes until, that is, he inquired about her abilities. She knew the question was comming, but Chrissy still hadn't the faintest idea of how to phrase her sentences. How to explain she was a monster and didn't want to be. A killing machine. The diclonius swallowed a lump in her throat staring at him with a colder more hateful expression. not directed at him, but at herself mostly. She hated herself. Hated.
"Fill you in...well...uhm...Soneko...I'm a d-diclonius. It's...difficult to explain..."
She spat the word diclonius as if it were a curse. To her it was. Engrained in her mind that she was nothing close to normal. She killed for the pleasure of it, and humans were just for her sadistic pleasure. Blood. The sight, smell, touch, color. Everything about it set Chrissy off. She was a blood-thirsty monster even though Astraea dealt with that side of her life. It was still apart of her. Chrissy grimaced, tracing a point on the right side of her skull. A small horn was growing there as on the left. A cream color labeling her a diclonius. She grimaced, staring at Soneko worriedly. She didn't want to scare him away...not someone else...
"A diclonius has these arms called vectors. You've seen them when I get drinks. They are these arms driven by compacted energy...invisible o-obviously. Uhm...I'm actually the only one of my kind...thankfully..."
It was obvious she wasn't telling teh full story. She didn't want to. Her gaze dropped, her lip quivered. Memories flooded her brain. It made her so terribly sad. She choked back a sob by shaking slightly. Christiania was haunted by her childhood. A person couldn't even call it that. Her childhood was Hell. Hell was all she knew. The diclonius sighed, falling silent. She appeared so depressed, so distant. She was falling into her nightmares. Her nightmares of her Hell. She loathed herself. She loathed her species. She loathed those vectors. Christiania wanted not to be a monster...but she would never have that sort of luck...

Okay, so she definitely liked the attention he had given her. He could tell that much by her cheeks darkening a few shades after he'd made his comment. It brought a smirk to his face. That was until she seemed to dim down. All of the sudden she was looking at the ground and her was holding back tears. Okay, so he knew not to bring that up again. He was starting to panic underneath his cool exterior. He never knew what to do when people started crying. He was never good at comforting people. But his mind harped one question: Why would she be thankful that she was the only one of her kind. Didn't she want some kind of genetic legacy? Offspring. Children. Why would she want an entire species to end with her? Was there something really that wrong with her?
He digressed. There she was, a trembling mess, and what could he do? Stand there and watch? He decided to make an attempt to change the subject. That'd get her to perk back up. He hoped.
"It's no big deal, you don't wanna talk about it."
He eyed the mug in front of her, no longer seeing any steam rising from the cup. He had watched a few movies on Earth and remembered that chocolate made the person feel better. He couldn't remember for the life of him what the movie was. He was sure it worked in real life.
"Better drink that hot chocolate before it gets cold."

"I don't want it anymore..."
For a moment there was silence, and then the mug fell into two slices. Perfectly cut in a diagonal direction from right to left. The hot cocoa spilled onto the counter and then onto the floor, leaving a puddle. It wasn't that big of a deal. There was barely any left in the first place. However, the mysterious object that had sliced the mug was now coated in the substance. Looming lazily over the counter about six feet in the air was a large hand that was larger than that of Chrissy's head, and the arm was as thick as one of her toned legs. It didn't look remotely dangerous, but now being viewed by Soneko the energy flowing from it seemed more obvious and nauseating than before. The diclonius was used to it. She hadn't even noticed its presence. Her head was bowed over and her locks covered her face for the most part in a shower. It was a rather eerie picture to see Chrissy in such a position, but she was arguing with Astraea for control. Somehow she won. Eventually she looked up, gnawing on her bottom lip so fiercely it was bleeding. Droplets of the crimson liquid dribbled down her chin slightly before being wiped away by her tongue.
"I-I'm a monster Soneko. M-My entire being is to kill off the human race, but I don't want to be a monster!! I am a good Christiania! I don't want to hurt anyone!"
Chrissy was in hysterics by that time. Tears flowed freely by this point and her skin was void of all color though she barely had any to begin with. She was a monster. She couldn't change that. She wanted to though. The diclonius shuddered in sorrow and pain, and before she could process her actions, her body hurled itself at Soneko. She collapsed against his chest crying into his shoulder. She was a small child again looking for acceptance...for love. Her body shook, she didn't care. If his arms stayed limp she wouldn't have noticed. He wasn't pushing her away though and so she'd stay there until he said otherwise.
"M-M-My purpose i-is...to b-breed. I-I don't want to b-be w-w-what D-Daddy s-s-said I am...I j-just w-want t-them to s-stop r-running from me."
Every single person she had revealed her life to had run screaming. Except for Keno-san for some reason. No one gave her a chance. No one dared to see her in the light she desired so much to be seen in. Solely judged for what she was instead of who she was. Social interaction with humans was nonexsistent for this female. She was terrified of being found, rejected...being a monster. Chrissy did not want to cry around Soneko. She knew how awkward it made him feel, and it made her feel worse. Christiania heaved a cough and muttered an apology through her tears.

The mug had seemingly sliced in two and the contents of it was slowly leaking all over the place. After he'd done his best to wipe down the counter and keep everything clean, she made it leak everywhere. Deity wouldn't be happy about that. He was just about to get up to clean it when--
She was suddenly against his chest and his shoulder was wet. Was...Was she crying on him? She couldn't at the very least cry near him? But he was finally aware of why she seemed so shy. Having once been that way--to some extent--himself. If she was like him, she probably isolated herself from people, which would explain her tendency to stumble over herself in conversations. She was afraid of herself, afraid to hurt other people. She thought herself a monster. He didn't think so. He knew that for some people, gifts came with drawbacks. For example, Soneko didn't really look like a human. He had the ability to disguise himself in this human form. He could sympathize with her. He could even empathize with her. Sighing through his nose, he lifted his arms and wrapped them around her back, keeping his left right hand on her right side, and his left hand holding his right tricep. He decided what she needed most was to be told that she wasn't a monster.
"You're not a monster. Things like that happen when you're different. It's the normal part of being different."
He wasn't good with words, but he guessed it would be better than nothing. Then he became suddenly aware of how close they were. And how hot it was. And that he had his arms around a girl he'd just met a few nights ago. He unwrapped his arms from around her back and move his hands to her arms for a moment, then sliding them quickly to his pants pockets. Well...that wasn't gonna be awkward. But he had no business being so close with her. Sure, he could relate with her, but that didn't make her any different from any other person he met. And while she seemed to have a good nature about her, it was easy to put on a front.

:: She smiled; the camaraderie between them was palpable. It flushed her sense with warmth and joviality, so much so that she felt as though she were floating on a pillar of warm air. She allowed it to touch her for only a moment before pushing it back down. It wouldn't really do any good to get lost in the sentience.
She looked up into their faces. The time had come to decide. Yes, it was true she hadn't intended to be seen. She should have slipped in like a shadow, seen Niichan, and slipped back out. But that had been before. Plans, like ideas, like feelings, could be changed when obstacles surfaced. You did not end the journey just because it shifted from your original plan. You simply improvised. And it was time the child did just that.
She was still concerned; her sentience had given her false positives before, and would again. It was inevitable. But for now, in this moment, she felt no fear or worry, and she believed, she felt, that she could trust them. She took a deep breath, gave them a polite bow. ::
"Hajimemashite yoroshiku, User-san, Jade-san. I am called Kaen. I've come to see my brother... I believe he lives here."

A large dark frame would sit alone at the bar, his back to the crowds and his mind to himself as he drnak away his misery in a bottle of Vodka. Too many things here reminded him of Skiro, too many laughs and jokes that no longer made him laugh but instead fueled his wild anger. He took a sip of the stiff glass bottle and that hot drink poured down his throat so fast it made him shake and twitch. His head hung low as his black dark skin and snow white crop of hair somehow made him blend in with the lighting.
Damn the world and all its twisted fates, but that was the simple thoughts of an intoxicated Abyss Devil.

A warm smile spread across Jades face as she chewed softly on a bite from the apple. The girl knew Japanese, and from the sounds of it, more than she herself knew at least. Kaen was more comfortable with it. The Saiya-jin girl returned a soft bow.
"Hajimemashite yoroshiku."
Jade stood upright, smiling still as she took another bite. Her brother? Well, there were a lot of people who came in an out, but not many who actually lived in the building itself. She knew most, if not all of them, and if she didn't know, then Deity surely would. Afterall, he was the owner.
"Maybe we can help you, Kaen-san. I happen to live here too, and I might know your brother."

User ate his apple as the girl and Jade spoke to each other. It was another human language he had never really bothered with. Latin was one he did enjoy and had learned poorly. He wasn't an unintelligent man - he just preferred to spend his time training his body and use his mind for holding more combat and military knowledge. Such was User and he was a hard man to change in his ways.
Languages had shifted back to a more understandable one and she was looking for a brother. User didn't know many people, plenty of faces within Club Orion were unfamiliar to him. He smiled a tad bit more warmly at the little child and commented, "It is good to have family."

~{So breaking the Laws of Pyschics!}~
Tama had been sitting around for a few minutes now and he was enjoying the funny twists of this place. It was Club Orion after all who could not enjoy the random spurts of comedy and drama? He sat at the bar in silence his ears perking at the sound of Jade's voice and it made him happy to hear her once again, memories of Skiro came to mind and it brought a sadness to his heart at the fate of his old friend.
But that was long ago and it was time to move on.
