User chuckled a deep chuckle at Jade as she punched him. He didn't even flinched, the punch not even enough to make the Saiya-jin move in the least. He smiled brightly at Jade as she scolded him, though the smile still had some of that incredible arrogance and ego that only he could produce.

The apple was in User's right palm within moments, the warrior prince having caught it with ease. He took a big bite of the thing, chewing loudly and with as much grace as an elephant walking on ice. He didn't feel the need to impress his best friend nor some child.

The Saiya-jin looked at the child, then nodded at Jade's observation of just about everyone's ability to use an extrasensory ability to locate another person on this world. He smirked at his friend as she teased him, "Even a child does not go unnoticed by some of us. And I am not a pain! Though I shall admit to being slighty... overconfident."

He bowed gracefully to the child before them, "As my lovely friend told you, my name is User. A pleasure, little one."

A turn of his wrist and a slight push on the door to the tower and Soneko was suddenyl greeted with a wave of comforting warmth. Once again, he was relieved to get out of the cold. His boots thudded dully against the wood floor. He spun on his heel and gripped the edge of the door, swinging it shut. A step backwards and a pivot to his left later, Soneko was swiftly heading towards the bar area once again. Seemed to be his favorite place in the Club. That was besides the arena, but he hadn't gotten a chance to use it yet. Everyone he ever got into any kind of confrontation with here ended without any real physical contact. Disappointing, Soneko always told himself, that such power in the people that resided in the Club Orion would hold back such great potential. Sighing silently through his nose, he didn't even bother to take a seat. And he didn't seem to want to take his hands from his black pants pockets, so he simply took a step on top of a barstool, then stepped forward onto the counter, then dropped off the edge onto the other side. He was sure he'd left a boot print. He'd be sure to wipe that off.

Ducking behind the counter, he opened the cupboard and took out a small see through glass, placing it on the counter before turning around to go to the refrigerator. He pulled out a can of soda, placing the cold beverage next to the glass. He stayed behind the bar, looking under the counter for a rag. He grabbed it, walked to the sink and turned on the hot water, running the cloth under it for a few minutes. The heat seemed to burn a lot hotter than it would have had he not been out in the cold for so long. But he was always much better at handling heat than he was the cold. He wrung the cloth out and stood back to where he had stepped on the counter. Deity wouldn't be happy to know that Soneko had stepped all over his counter tops. He slowly wiped down the entire counter, figuring he should do the whole thing while he was there. He tossed the rag into the sink and walked over to where his drink sat. He noticed the condensation on the outside of his beverage. Picking it up, he popped the lid and slowly poured the coke into his glass. He set the can down and wiped his wet hand on his pants, reached forward, and took a swig of his drink.

He reached to to his wrists and folded the cloth of his red button up shirt over itself several times until the sleeves finally stopped at the crease separating his forearm from his bicep. He had left a note folded in the ribbon that he had given back to her. He had asked her to come back a few days after the night they had met. She seemed like an okay person. Besides, it wasn't like he was going to be doing anything else. Might as well get out and do something. Not to mention that he had taken an interest into her gifts. If there was one thing that always got Soneko into trouble, it was always his curiosity about other people and their abilities. Getting too close to somebody too dangerous could cause problems. But from what he could tell, Chrissy didn't seem the type to want to really hurt anybody.

"I hope I'm not too formal...oh I'm so stupid..."

She groaned burying her face into her right hand in dismay. Chrissy had recieved Soneko's note after it had fallen lazily from her ribbon when she took it out that evening. It had said he wanted to see her. What did that mean exactly?? Christiania had been troubled and befuddled by this action on Soneko's part. Is this what humans called a date? She had never experienced such a thing before. She knew it was between two people who had feelings for one another whether physical or emotional. Did that mean she needed to be dressy? He never specified. The diclonus spent literally hours attempting to decipher the meaning of his note eventually comming to the conclusion it was indeed a date. She at least thought he was attractive and he did as well. Chrissy had taken notice of his consistent attempts at checking her out...and since two people could date for only physical purposes it all made sense in her undeveloped social mind.

So, in the end formality was in her mind. Chrissy had taken her time before arriving at the Orion making sure every last detail was perfect. Threads of her turqoise hair fell in waves down her back, tied together in random sections with ermerald green hairclips. Her face, already perfect from birth, glowed in the cold atmosphere of her suroundings. Her cheeks were a pink hue complimenting her naturally pink lips that had a touch of glitter on them. Both eyes stood out amongst everything. Chrissy kept it light with a rich brown eyeliner to accent her blue orbs while a simple sparkle coated her eyelids. Even in the darkness her celestial eyes broke through. Her dress added to her immaculant beauty as well. It was vintage in appearence, yet completely new. The deep pink fabric was a soft cotton which framed her petite waist beautifully. The sleeves fell off her shoulder, cutting across her large bosoms. It brushed against her pale knees flaring in a rippling fashion. To add some pop her heels complimented her emerald clips, being the same color. A dash of emerald green. Around her neck was a black choker with a modest emerald hanging from it. The ribbons were tucked safely in her green handbag just in case of an emergency.

His prescence was easily spotted as her well-manicured hand tugged the Orion door open silently. He did nothing to cover his tracks which was unlike him. Christiania always found him to be a very mysterious and sleathy character. Why would he be as bold to actually let her know he was there. Whatever the reason it eased her mind and allowed her to advance. However, when she caught a first glance her cheeks flared red. Soneko was casual as ever. Instantly Chrissy whimpered as her head collapsed onto her shoulders in hevay sulking. He looked so casual, and she was so formal. How awkward for Chrissy.

A hand lifted and placed itself over her sparkling, plump lips in mortification as she stood stock still praying he wouldn't notice her. Perhaps she could simply sneak out and pretend she had been sick. All she would have to do is confused her body temperature. it really wasn't that hard to feign a fever. The diclonius, though had the entire plan figured, could not even get her foot to move. Every muscle was at a stand still leaving Christiania looking like a gorgeous idiot. She held back the tears for fear of destroying her make-up, but it was obvious if it were not for the make-up tears would be flowing. Sobbing inwardly, her lips parted and her eyes widened. A small, yet noticeable cough left her mouth and she knew she was going to be fed to the dogs. Soneko would truely enjoy taking advantage of her pathetic life; deep down she prayed he would be kind. How would she have known it was a friend thing? To her it looked like a date note...

He heard the lock disengaging from the handle of a doorknob being turned. A small intake of breath and Soneko knew it was Chrissy before the door had even finished opening. She had a very distinct scent. Seemed to stick in Soneko's memory...For whatever reason. He kept his eyes down for a few moments, checking the counter. Seemed to be clean. Wouldn't want the girl to sit down in a dirty atmosphere. Wait...What?! The Hell did that matter? He glanced up and took her in for the first time tonight. His eyes squinted as if he was trying to make sure he was seeing right. Her turquoise hair was down, she had make-up on, but it wasn't overdone, which was something Soneko had always found unattractive. He was more into the natural beauty, but some girls could pull off a smaller amount. And damn, she was one of them. He scanned her face, taking in every detail down from the slight sparkle on her lips to the dark blue hue of her eyes. Moving down, he immediately took notice to the pink dress, sending his mind a few different directions at the same time. Was she only staying for awhile? Have other plans?

He cocked his head to the side and took a few steps back and leaning against the wall on the inside of the bar area. A small smirk tugged at his lips as he crossed his arms over his chest. He could tell she was nervous. He couldn't imagine for the life of him why, though. She had seemed fine by the end of the night when they had first met. He'd hoped the awkward part would be done with. Putting up with a stuttering mess had proven to be quite the hassle in the past. He could hear her heartbeat and from what he could see her cheeks were a few shades darker than regular. He hoped she would calm down as the night went on.

Still, he couldn't help but admit to himself that he was, at the very least, physically attracted to the girl. While he wouldn't admit anything out loud, he silently came to terms with it. He lifted his head slightly and called out to her just loud enough for her to hear.

"Got a date or somethin'?"

That was it! Electrical currents ran through her brain as she concocted a scheme that she could pull off. Se expected to have another date, but he cancelled suddenly and she was already on the way here to see Soneko. It was simple, brilliant and Chrissy had no idea how in hell she came up with it. She ran a finger gently through her wavy locks finally gazing at him with the confidence she had when they first became aqquainted. A smile tugged at her lips and she ignored the darkened coloration of her cheeks as if all was normal. Tossing her hair to the side she giggled flirtatiously gnawing on her bottom lip.

"I did actually, but he cancelled while I was on my way here..."

The diclonius' smile dipped slightly as guilt gradualy welled up in her throat. She loathed lying to others, but the idea of telling Soneko that she was so dressy for him was a bit much. Chrissy had learned a few thing sin the real world and one was not to be so blunt about some things. This happened to be one of them. Christiania ceased her fidgeting trying to look at Soneko's face. She couldn't exactly tell what he was feeling at the moment for she was focused on controlling her own emotions at hte time. He appeared a bit stoic, but it didn't faze her. Chrissy had grown used to his perona rather hastily and so she ignored it.

"I hope...this doesn't bother you at all, Soneko. I would hate for you to feel uncomfortable."

She smiled brilliantly, confidence brewing inside her. No mistakes in her lie, and her innocence only added to it. She would get away clean, and this idea completely caught her off gaurd. Chrissy struggled to accept the fact she was able to lie so easily. It left a bad taste in her mouth, but she pushed it aisde. No need to dwell on something she had already taken action on. That was the past...what the hell was going on with her? Telling her fib gave her confidence and she advanced toward him. Her heels clicked lightly on the wooden threshold; however she halted a few feet away from him. Her eyes traveled down his body so quickly she doubted anyone would be able to notice. She was definetely attracted to the male, and her cheeks lit once more. God she had to stop doing things like that. Chrissy coughed gingerly into her left hand unsure of what to do. The female stood there with awkward confidence her smile now delicate and shy. He was too cute.

Well her attitude seemed to lighten up pretty damn quick. Soneko sensed something amiss, but he wouldn't sit there and harp on it. Didn't matter. The conversation had moved on and so would he. He leaned forward, taking a step forward, closing the distance between them by a few feet. He gave her a slight smirk and lifted his right hand, waving her statement off.

"Really, it's not a big deal. Sucks to hear your friend canceled on you, though."

Even though she had said she wouldn't want for him to feel uncomfortable, she seemed to be more uncomfortable than he was. Dropping her stare to the ground, and she'd yet to take a seat. Of course, he could say the same thing about himself, but Soneko was an active guy. Normally standing is a sign of uncomfortable behavior, but Soneko preferred standing rather than sitting for whatever reason. Besides, standing behind the bar would keep him busy.

He looked around the bar once, noticing his beverage sitting in between them. He looked at the girl. She was probably thirsty after her trek here. It was a damn long walk. Luckily he never had to walk the whole way. He just made it so he had enough time to think and have some time alone before going in to socialize with people inside the Club. He arched a brow slightly and reached his hand under the counter, but his emerald eyes held her blue stare.

"You need a drink?" He paused for a minute. "Maybe a hot chocolate?"

He had remembered her choice of drink from when he had come back to give her the ribbon that she had dropped. She seemed to enjoy it, from what he could tell. While he hadn't tried the drink since he'd been on the planet, he'd gathered that it was something that was good for when it was cold. But then again, she'd told him that she could control her body temperature. Maybe she wouldn't need a drink after all. Either way, offering wouldn't hurt.

(That's...uhh...I wish we could do that in real life! >.0)

Good he took the bait. Well at least she assumed so. He did not inquire any details into her "date" which in reality it would have been inappropriate. In her mind it would have been. Her tongue raked gracefully over her lips moisturizing them before she spoke or took action. Chrissy made many a habit having to do with her mouth. She wasn't sexually inclined or anything-actually she never even took care to notice. Her smile lifted, brightening her features significantly. Amazing what a smile can do to a person's whole persona. His comment about her losing a date brushed passed her and she didn't look too much into it. The diclonius was so pleased about having feigned her reasons and getting away with it. Truely blissful.

"O-Oh well. It's no trouble for me. Just get to spend more time with you..."

The idea smacked her across the face so randomly she had the look of a deer in headlights for a few moments. Alone with Soneko....ah! As quickly as she made the expression, Chrissy snapped back from her reverie. However the damage had been done. She had made this casual meeting sincerely awkward for her. She coughed into her hand using the same one to push back a few straggling locks of hair. Chrissy had to keep it together. It was a must this evening. Consistently muttering that to herself made the situation a bit easier for her to handle which was surprising. Chrissy inhaled, replacing her distraught expression with one of cool collectness. There was a deep pink hue tinting her cheeks, but she ignored it, exerting confidence. And then something happened that Christiania would brag about for a long while. Her tongue flicked from its chambers within her mouth and hung playfully in his direction. Yes, she was sticking her tongue out at Soneko. Childish...just like Chrissy.

"I mean, it sucks a bit for me, but I think I'll survive."

She giggled, gliding with an awkward grace towards a stool adjacent to Soneko. She lowered herself and quickly corssed her legs running her fingertips along her babysoft skin as if it were fabric of some kind. Chrissy had no intention fo seducing Soneko-the thought never crossed her mind. To be honest Christiania couldn't seduce anybody when thinking about it. Everything ended in awkward disaster for the diclonius. She preferred to just continue a conversation without stumbling through a sentence. Focusing back on Soneko, she realized he had inquired about hot chocolate. Her smile widened. Hot Chocolate ounded rather delicious at the moment she admitted. Locking her glistening eyes with Soneko's just as he had done to her, she chuckled.

"Hot chocolate is delicious!! I can get it though, and save you some moving and stuff."

Immeadiately, two vectors shot from her back and went to work. How the mug and mix and boiling water moved about she would not divulge. Of course she figured Soneko would inquire about such strange happenings, and Chrissy hadn't exactly figured out how to explain her...extra arms. The female drifted off into a reverie and before she knew it the mug landed with a soft thud in front of her. Both vectors returned and that was that. Her real hand lifted the mug cautiously while the smell soaked her nostrils with the divine sweetness of chocolate. She smiled. Her lips parted just enough for a small amount of teh beverage to coast down her throat. however, to her dismay, the drink was still incredibly hot. Chrissy coughed several times to her side nearly dropping the mug in the process. Tears welled up in her gorgeous eyes as the sting on her burn and down her throat stayed firmly in place for a few moments before gradually drifting away. Now she was embarassed. Blushing ruthlessly, the diclonius looked back over at Soneko, attempting a chuckle to ease her mortified emotions.

"Too hot."

She really was a piece of work. The poor girl didn't seem like she had much human interaction. The things she stated seemed a little forward. Just get to spend more time with him? She made it seem like they were an item. While the thought didn't necessarily leave a bad thought in his mind, but he didn't stay on the subject for too long. And then she was sticking her tongue out at him, making a remark about the situation with her date. He smirked a small one and nodded his head at her statement. He reached up with his right hand swiping his thumb across the pesky bangs that hung in front of his dark green eyes.

Soon Chrissy was sitting down on the stool in front of him, and while he had offered to get her a drink, she didn't seem to like the idea of him getting it for her. What, did she think he was gonna put rat poison in her drink? But still, this was another chance for him to witness her moving objects on her own. He sensed something off, but couldn't quite place his finger on it. One thing Soneko couldn't do was make things move on their own. And it was something he always thought would be useful. He didn't figure it would hurt to ask how she managed to do it.

By the time he decided he would ask her, she had apparently tried to take a drink too fast without letting it cool. He couldn't help but smile and chuckle lightly through his nose. He reached forward and wrapped his fingers around the mug. Oh yeah, it was definitely hot. Even the porcelain seemed like it was on fire. In a quick moment, he felt a cooling sensation shoot through his arm and to his hand, in turn creating a small coat of ice around the entire mud, thus cooling it slightly. The heat of the mug caused the ice to melt away, but he felt the temperature of the mug and decided it would still be hot, but not so much that it would scald her mouth. While he wasn't too fond of the cold, he had been lucky to pick up that skill. Though the way he had come across it wasn't his favorite subject. He moved his eyes up to hers and gave a slight nod towards the mug.

"It should be fine now."

"OH! You control ice too?!"

Healing abilities came in handy for someone like Chrissy. Always getting hurt and such. Her tongue was good as new as was her esophogus. It was as if she had never burned herself in the first place which was nice. She smiled brightly her eyes wide from the nonchalant display of magic. The diclonius was able to control all four elements, but fire was the one she had focused more so on since her body temperature was so low. Water was something sh ehad touched on, but she found wind to be more exciting and carefree an element to learn. However it was a treat to spectate a human using their techniques. It gave her a chance to study his movements, eventually copying them to further her teachings. Magic was such an annoying topic, but Chrissy was so curious!

"I mean...I'm horrible when it comes to water...but, but I'm working!!"

She muttered smiling half-heartedly at her inability to focus on one element. If Soneko and she were to battle with just that one element...Christiania would not last long. Maybe a few seconds she determined. The diclonius watched in amusement as the heat of the mug melted the ice. Her fire magic had grown considerabley since she had last been at the Orion. Too bad it didn't help her when it came to a drink. Her vectors were constantly active with heat, and that could end up leaving Chrissy with a singed tongue, but it's something a person grows used to.

"Now I know it's fine. Thanks, Soneko..."

Her fingers curled tenderly around the mug as she studied it carefully. Her lips puckered slightly and she blew gently into the cup. A breath of cool air wisked through the liquid cooling it down further. A smile corrupted her lovely, innocent features as she took a sip now convinced it was safe. The warm hot cocoa slid down her tender throat with ease this time around, and Christiania cooed at the deliciousness of the beverage. Her face lit up contently taaing another small sip before placing the drink back on the bar. Her startling celestial hues fell upon Soneko whom, she noticed, had a curious scent about him. She wasn't sure exactly what for, and it bothered her for him to be staring at her. Chrissy dropped her gaze, fiddling uncomfortabley with the hem of her dress. Whenever she was being observed, she felt as if something was wrong with her as if she wasn't perfect the way she was. Her self-confidence was dropping slightly the longer Soneko stared. She coughed.

"Something wrong with me?"
PostPosted: Fri Mar 28, 2008 7:10 pm

The 'too' at the end of her sentence got him thinking. She was able to control ice. He was slowly becoming more and more interested in the girl. She had her quirks. Everyone did. But there was definitely much more to her than what she let on. And she was able to admit that she was having trouble with controlling water. Something that Soneko knew nothing about. His specialty wasn't controlling the elements. It looked like their combined efforts cooled the hot chocolate to drinking temperature, seeing as how Chrissy didn't flinch when she took a sip. But she was suddenly feeling uncomfortable, probably from his stare. She didn't seem to like it when people looked at her. Maybe she didn't like being singled out. He mentally shrugged it off and decided to move his eyes elsewhere. To his drink. He leaned against the counter and wrapped his fingers around the glass, lifting it to his mouth to take a long swig, then setting it back onto the counter with a clack!

"No, there's nothing wrong. I just have trouble keeping my eyes off pretty girls."

He couldn't help it. Yeah, he was normally a pretty laid back guy, but when he saw an opportunity to flirt with a girl, he didn't pass up the opportunity.
He never saw why girls got so worked up about guys hitting on them. Shouldn't they take it as a compliment? One thing he never understood in his entire life was women. They're all so damn confusing. Not that he spent too much time around them after the accident.

He tried to come up with small talk, but his mind wasn't used to that at all. It was normally straight to the point with Soneko. He never engaged in pointless small talk. He found it aggravating. He couldn't find anything, and so the first thing that did come to his mind slipped past his lips before he could even think about if it would be prying into her business.

"So what else can you do? I've seen you do a few things that aren't...Regular on this planet. Care to fill me in?"

Some people weren't always very happy when they were asked about their abilities. Soneko didn't have any problems saying how had gotten his, but he wouldn't go out blabbing it to anybody and everybody. Some people either hadn't come to accept how they came across their powers, and some weren't happy with their powers. Some would much rather live a normal life than what they had been graced with. And it was something Soneko never understood. Why turn down what you have graced with? Unique. Special.
