User heaved himself up from the table, giving another glance over at everyone present. Many were here now, but Jade was right. He trusted her judgment on such things - she seemed an excellent judge of character. He glanced at everyone present, and if they happened to meet eyes with the mighty Prince warrior, they would certainly know he showing them just who was the boss in these parts. He didn't look friendly in the least - but that was just the norm for User. You really had to prove yourself to him first before he accepted you. As Red departed, he gave a quick but respectful nod to a fellow hunter of KenoTao.
Jade was even more correct about User being able to handle the situation. He doubted any present would dare to strike when he was around. The acknowledge of his prowess gave a boost to an already overinflated pride and ego that resulted in a condescending smirk upon User's face.
Not one to easily give up Jade's company, he followed her to the kitchen. If there was a favorite room besides a gym in any building - the kitchen was certainly it. A Saiya-jin's metabolism was incredible and their ability to shovel down amazing amounts of food was doubly so. As such, User - despite seeming to be an uncultured brute and beast - was rather fond of cooking. As a Prince, even he had to have his more... refined moments where politics had to play instead of duking it out. In his life, those were rare moments when his lord ordered him to attend some formal event or something. And while he preferred the battlefield above all else, preparing an excellent meal to feed an extraordinary hunger was one simple pleasure he afforded himself at times. At other times, he would be content with field rations in the middle of the battleground. Different times called for different foods - for now, he would settle for whatever this place had to eat.
As Jade stopped, User walked slowly up behind her, his boots making loud thumping noises with each careful and near-regal step, and looked upon a small child. Who was floating. Unusual but not so much so that he was taken by too much surprise. The Prince of Saiya-jins smirked at the little girl and said rather sarcastically, "Seems we have a little rat in our pantry, Jade."

The chill air heightened her senses. Her warm breath created a light fog that swirled enchantingly for a mere second or two before mixing with the dominate cold air. The walk had been peaceful, silent, and comfortable for the shy diclonius. She had never been on the Orion grounds before tonight, and it was geuinely amusing. Neither said much during their stroll, but Chrissy was very attentitive when Soneko decided to comment on something. It was strange for her to be so focused on someone besides Keno-san, but she was content having that friendship with another. However, being outside Orion would never compare to being inside. A cup of Hot Chocolate sounded delightful though she wasn't the least bit cold.
Two people were in the kitchen. A male and female neither of which she was familar with. Christiania, so as not to disturb their conversation, silently made her way over to the bar. As she advanced, two vectors shot from her back and hastily began making the entincing hot cocoa she desired. The water did not take long to heat, warming her vector to boiling temperatures in only a minute. Chrissy shivered involuntarily, pouring the water into a large mug while using the other vector to mix in the packet of chocolate mix. The aroma caused her mouth to salivate slightly, but that was hastily put aside. Chrissy adored hot Chocolate. It was possibly her favorite drink ever. Hense why she admired winter so. The vector pouring the water lifted the mug carefully, lazily slithering back towards its mistress, placing the mug in front of her, then creeping back into her shoulderblade. The other made sure to clean the area up before disappearing. Chrissy was left alone to enjoy her hot cocoa. Splendid.
The hot liquid scorched her tongue abruptly as she took a sip impatiently. She grimaced, taking in a sharp breath to muffle the cry. Chrissy placed the mug back ontop of the bar counter and took a moment to regain control of herself. Tears began to form at the corners of her eyes, but she forced them back. No need to cry...but damn it was difficult not to. The cocoa peeled down her esophogaus leaving an uncomfortable burning sensation in the center of her chest. She kneaded the area with her left knuckle in a fatal attempt to soothe the suffering. It didn't work. Eventually she gave that up and moved on to cooling the drink. She mumbled a few incoherent words before blowing gently on the steaming drink. A gust of shrewd air blasted forth, instantly cooling the beverage. She only had to do it once before Chrissy found it bearable.
"M-My favorite..."
She whispered to herself, taking a tentative sip from the mug. The drinkwas still wonderfully hot, but not blistering. Christiania smiled brightly, taking another ginger sip. Delicious. She lowered her petite body onto the barstool she had been resting on when she first began conversing with Soneko, her body stiff. The woman was a bit tired from controlling her temperature for so long. Being outdoors in such bitter weather forced Chrissy to concentrate more on the spell. It was definetely exhausting if done for long periods of time. Sighing, she allowed her temperature to fall ungracefully to the warmth of the Orion. Instantly she felt an imaculant change. Her body shook lightly in the chill and small insignificant goose bumps appeared where skin was revealed. She cursed her exhaustion inwardly and took another, much longer, sip of hot cocoa. She loathed the cold weather.

For the second time in one night, Soneko closed in on the Orion's large doors. He clasped both of his hands together in order to transfer the sapphire blue ribbon in his right hand to his left, making sure to keep it folded nicely so it didn't get too wrinkled. He hadn't intended on making two trips to the Club, but on his way to leave he noticed the fabric laying on the ground and immediately recognized it as Chrissy's. The wind must have blown it out of her hair, he had concluded. Still, the reason he hadn't left it there and just gone home escaped him. He'd only just met the girl. Normally he probably would have laughed at it and let it sit on the ground. Was he getting soft? Nah. He exhaled a long one, watching his breath disappear into the cold night air, then turned the knob and pushed the door open, stepping inside. He shut the door behind him as quickly as possible to make sure not too much of the cold air got inside.
Chrissy had said she would be heading back to the Orion. He decided that he'd bring it back to her. It's not like it was too far out of the way. Besides, it would only take him a moment to get back home if he wanted it to. He looked to his right to see the young girl sitting in the same seat she had been sitting in before, drinking something. Chocolate, he gathered from his sense of smell. He smirked and stepped towards her. He quickly put the ribbon in his denim jacket's left pocket. He wondered if she had even realized that it was gone. He took a seat beside her, facing the way he had come from, leaning his back against the counter, getting a good angle to see her face while she was sipping her drink.
"Forget somethin'?"

His prescence startled her so much that she nearly choked on her cocoa. Coughing hysterically for only a few moments, she glanced over at him with surprise. What was he doing back? She had specifically heard him say he was going home...wherever that was. She blinked several times in his direction, attempting to comprehend why exactly he had come back. Was it to see her? She doubted it. Hundreds of possibilities fluttered through her mind until he actually spoke. She shook herself free of the reverie, tilting her head in a befuddled way.
"F-Forget...?"
Christiania was completely lost. What would she have forgotten on their walk. She hadn't brought anything. Still, she was known to drop things occassionaly. Her hands cautiously patted her body down leaving no trace of her figure untouched. He fingers gingerly made their way to her hair, tenderly fiddling with the two braids that were still neatly in place. The left ribbon was securely in place, but...Christiania froze. The right one was missing. Her fingers dug into the edge of her braid as if the fabric had only disappeared from view. Her eyes widened in panic as tears filled the corners of her eyes. No! She couldn't have misplaced it so easily! How could she have done such a thing!! Her body shook in desperation as she fought to control her emotions. Chrissy refused to break down in front of a man she hardly knew. That was not going to happen. Never again.

What was with this girl? She was a mess. Stumbling over her words in conversation, damn near breaking down into tears when she realized her ribbon was gone? The minute she realized it she looked like a kid who found out Santa isn't real. Maybe it had some sentimental value to her, and Soneko would probably never know, but he did know that she'd perk right up if she had it again. He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the ribbon, extending it to her.
"Pay more attention."
That was it. If she was gonna get somewhere in life, she was gonna need to toughen up. And the best way to help that is to be blunt. And that's what Soneko did best. That and subtle ability to set somebody off, but that was a whole different can of worms. He searched the girl's face. He didn't know what the Hell he was gonna do if she started crying. He'd probably make the quickest exit as possible. No matter how hard he tried, he was never good at making somebody feel better.

"O-Oh thank you, Soneko..."
A bit bewildered at the fact he had the decency to bring it back to her, Christiania sat still for a few moments. However, she snatched the ribbon from his hand, lacing it tightly into her braid once more. As she coiled the fabric together, words flew from her mouth a such a fast rate that Soneko wouldn't understand them. A spell that binded the ribbon to her hair. Now she was positive it wouldn't fall out unless she broke the spell. The ribbon was pulled into a cute bow matching the left ribbon down to the last ripple in the threads. Chrissy wrapped her shaking hands around the mug in an attempt to steady her emotions. Now that the ribbon was back in her posession she was perfectly fine, but Soneko's comment made her feel absolutely miserable. He was right it was all her fault.
"I-I'm sorry Soneko. I'll try harder next time..."
Her eyes were wide with promise, sparkling with intense determination. The grip on the mug tightened, and a crack in the mug, though slight in size, still echoed through the otherwise silent room. Christiania gasped muttering apologies to no one in paticular as her finger traced along the slit. Passing over it, the crack quickly sealed itself looking brand new. The diclonius coughed, glancing back up at him with a grateful smile. Honestly, Christiania pushed away the hopeless feelings and bathed her mind in an overjoyed gratefulness. Soneko didn't have to, but he had. Her head fell to the right as she stared at him with those entracing eyes of hers, gnawing habitually on her bottom lip.
"Why did you bring this back to me? You...didn't have to..."

He narrowed his eyes after Chrissy seemed to mutter something to herself. He mentally shrugged it off. He was right, though. She seemed to be better now. Maybe that thing was special to her. He turned himself on the barstool so his chest was now towards the bar, but he kept his eyes on hers. Resting his forearms on the table, his fingers slowly started to drum randomly on the counter. Then she apologized to him. What was she apologizing for? It's not like she had lost something of his. Didn't matter. Best stay off the subject.
"I know you will."
There. At least he wasn't being too harsh. He did have confidence in her, though. He got the feeling she wouldn't be losing tack of that again anytime soon. And then there was the question. That had been puzzling him before. Yeah, it may not have been too far out of the way, but he still could have just walked past it. He shrugged and looked away.
"It wasn't out too far out of the way. I was still in the area when I found it. Don't look too far into it."

He was so different than earlier. This bothered Chrissy as she had really enjoyed his company before. It was almost like he was feigning his real emotions. She couldn't prove that of course, and decided to leave the subject alone for fear of angering him. Now that he was around she didn't want him to go. Chrissy did not want to be isolated at the moment. Her hand inched toward his, but in a second in was pulled back into the saftey of her own chest. What the hell was her arm doing?! Her cheeks flushed, but Chrissy had become skilled at ignoring her mortification.
"Either way...I'm really, really grateful."
A shy smile encompassed her lips as she quickly leaned over to him and placed a kiss on his cheek. Now, Chrissy rarely touched another person let alone kissed them. The red in her cheeks was obvious as she withdrew, smiling pleasantly. Dear God she was a moron. Her lips quivered uneasily her teeth gripping onto the bottom one to hold herself steady. She couldn't believe what she had done. Oh my God what would Soneko do? Of course she just meant it as a friend! People did that as friends right?! Keno-san did it to her all the time when they saw one another so why would this be any different. Her mind-set calmed her nerves as the blush disipated gradually. Chrissy looked back up at him, smiling sheepishly.
"It was so sweet of you whether you wanted to or not."

He couldn't say he was expecting that one. Then again, he'd seen it done on Earth on several occasions, establishing friendship. Still, he wasn't totally used to the idea. Made him a little uncomfortable. He hadn't been is such close proximity to a girl in awhile. He didn't let it show. He just let out a slight chuckle and looked at her.
"It's really no big deal."
Having realized he hadn't moved his glass or coke from earlier, he reached over and took a sip. Flat. It wasn't the best, but he didn't see what everybody complained about. Maybe he was just weird. He returned the glass to where it was, cleared his throat, then looked back over to Chrissy.
"Pretty bold to kiss a guy on the first day you meet him, wouldn't you say?"
He meant what he said, but he threw in the kind of tone that would let her know he didn't really have a problem with it, but didn't find it quite common. Hopefully she wouldn't get too worked up about it.

[[ Soneko, I literally can't remember the last time I saw you here xD. I'm not even sure if I've seen you IC, but I don't think so. I've been pretty good, mostly. My Spring Break was this week, so I've been... well... resting, basically. Got sick sometime over the past few days, but the worst of it seems to be over with... not that you wanted all that. Thanks, either way. Yourself?
Yeah, Tac, I had a feeling x3. I was thinking of a far more peaceful, surveying the lands from the mountaintops-type-thing, but sure, go on and toss my foundations into the distance. Hell, I get to use my wings, anyway. ]]
