UserName User blinked, confused... Jade must be back. Good. He liked her the most of all. The warrior grinned at his best of friends, "I'm fine. Just all these people... too many to watch," He looked around, obviously on the defense and whispered harshly to Jade, "I don't trust any of them." He grunted in unhappiness. ((God, I haven't posted IC since March 4th. ^ ^;; Oops.)) Jade grinned back at User, and couldn't help but let out a laugh at his defensiveness. Hopefully he wouldn't take it as an insult.
"Oh, I don't think you have much to worry about with this crowd. It doesn't look like anyone is going to cause trouble."
She glanced around, seeing Red take her leave, and the rest all behaving.
"Besides, it's not like you wouldn't be able to handle yourself if something came up." Jade smiled, unknowing that Kirra had said much the same moments before.
A sudden rumble sounded from her stomach, and with a bit of an embarrassed look, the young Saiya-jin girl excused herself to the kitchen for a moment. When you're hungry, you're hungry.
Walking over, she was a bit surprised to see the young girl there, eating a sandwich, and floating a few feet off of the ground. Blinking for a moment, Jade smiled and approached her, headed for the fridge behind the child. An apple sounded good right now.
"Well, hello there. That's a neat trick."

How long had it been? He'd lost track of time. Last time he'd seen this place, he was stumbling out of the place like a drunken idiot. Several months, he finally concluded was the time he'd been away from the Orion. He didn't care enough to actually count how many months. He finished his last few steps, now standing in front of the entrance to the tower. Drawing his right hand from his dark blue jeans, he reached for the knob. With a turn and a small push, the door creaked open and a wave of relieving warmth washed over his body. The cold Canadian air had almost numbed his body during his trek. He stepped inside, bending his right knee so his ankle caught the edge of the door. With little movement from his leg, the door swung shut, undoubtedly making his presence known. He heard several voices. Some familiar, others not so much.
Black sneakers made little noise as he stepped forward. His green eyes looked around the room. Not a thing seemed to have changed. You'd think that after so long, somebody would get tired of the same set-up and maybe change it around a little, but given the size of the place, Soneko couldn't blame anybody for not stepping up. Cleaning the building in itself must take a few hours. He mentally shrugged it off. He reached up with his right hand and matted down his black hair, sweeping it to the sides of his face, out of the way. He brushed off his pants and black shirt before sliding his hands into the pockets of his denim jacket. Looking to his right, he saw the bar area he had become familiar with on the night of the New Year's Ball two years back. How the time did fly.
He made his way towards the bar, finding the barstool in the middle of the others the most appealing. He sat down, resting his forearms on the countertop, drumming his fingers to no particular beat. He heard a few sounds coming from the kitchen. With a quick intake of breath, Soneko immediately knew the scent as a girl name Jade's. He didn't know the girl personally, but he'd seen her around. No point in making stiff conversation.

The crunching of leaves was barely audible beneath the petite figure of Christiania. Her silence broken only when her body snagged on some debris dangling from a tree. The spell faded fortuitously, and she held no power over the strength of the spell. She was too weak to manipulate the magik properly; however, Christiania made due with what she had. Pace quickening, her sea-green eyes fluttered in response to her debillitated figure. The female desperately needed food and drink though her body was created to last through starvation and dehydration. Her organs ached and every step was a fiery burst of agony. She continued on with determination she never had before in her life. Luckily, Chrissy knew exactly where she would be recieved.
Memories flashed through her brain as the large manor appeared in its eerie beauty. The woman dispersed for many months, and her whereabouts were unknown to all that knew her. Chrissy kept her life to herself, and there was no interest in revealing the locations of her adventures. However, she was greatly content at the familiar scent consuming her senses. The Orion was the same as ever, and the change gave her the energy to twist her wrist and afvance through the enormous doors where her home was housed. For the first time in months, a smile crept across her beautiful face.
Exactly the picture Chrissy had left with. No time had passed in this comforting hall, and the smile only grew. The female had not changed much over the months. She had gotten taller however. In the secrecy of her hideout, she had casted a spell upon her body allowing her to grow another two inches. Now, at 5'5" Christiania was more proportional than before. Her unnaturally large breasts did not overcome her torso as they had in the past-which was her main problem. She was slipped on a light jean skirt with a tattered hemline. The muscles in her legs bulged as she moved, but not in a repulsive way. There was nothing repulsive about the nineteen year old. A shique, black top was what she wore over her torso. The high collar dropped into a tasteful v-neck. The fabric clung to her toned abdomen and no skin was available for eyes. Her waist-ling turqoise hair was french-braided in two sections tied at the edge with sapphire ribbons. Two strands framed her heart-shaped face brushing against her rose hued cheeks. On her feet were black, high-top Converses that were worn with use and age, but comfortable nonetheless.
Exhaling a nervous breath, Christiania marched over to the barstool adjacent to the man who she felt acqquainted with, but his name escaped her. So, mortified, she took a seat beside him. her hands were shaking from lack of nutrition and drink, and she meant to take care of that first. Silently, a strange, invisible hand tore away from her shoulderblades and stealthily swiped a glass from a cabinet from the opposite side of the bar filling it with tap water before retracting back into her shoulders. The glass sat lazily in front of Chrissy, and greedily, she downed the liquid within seconds of recieving it. Her eyes stayed diverted from the man's, not giving him reason to question her.

He was soon in the presence of a young female girl. He cast a glance her way when she had first sat down, not paying her much mind. The girl seemed to want to keep to herself. Soneko liked it better that way. He didn't know the girl, and he didn't care to. As far as he was concerned, she could sit there all night. That was before he saw a glass fill itself up and make it's way back over to her. There he went again, judging a book by it's cover. He'd seen a regular looking girl and thought nothing of her. He thought about it. Right now, if he was an outsider looking at himself, he would see nothing special. And he would be wrong. He made a note to not make those kinds of mistakes again.
But there was something different about her, obviously, and she'd piqued his curiosity. He jerked his head to one side quickly, getting rid of the pesky bangs that kept falling in front of his tanned face. He turned his head towards the girl and eyed her again. He hadn't gotten too good of a look at her before, but looking at her now, he should have noticed something different when he saw the color of her hair. Humans didn't have blue hair. At least not on this planet. Her attire seemed a little strange, too. Not anything that would offset her appearance as a human, but for the weather outside, a skirt was hardly a good choice to stay warm. The kid was probably freezing her a** off. And by her shaky breath she had taken before sitting down, she seemed to be nervous. He stopped and listened. Heartbeat above normal, breath intake much more rapid. Was she scared?
He fisted his right hand, letting his middle finger stick out a little more than the others, letting his knuckle knock on the counter top twice lightly, just enough to get her attention. He knew she didn't need any sudden movements or noises. And since he still didn't know the full extent of her...gifts, he knew to take the measures not to scare her. A natural reaction to fear is retaliation, and if he knew the people that hung around here, he might have to watch himself with this one.
"Little cold for a skirt, don't ya think?"
His cool voice was just low enough for her to hear. No need to draw attention to him. He hated it when people felt it was necessary to listen in on people's conversations. He smirked and kept his eyes focused on the girl.

Her eyelids fluttered realizing he was staring at her. She swallowed attempting to continue her silent treatment. The male did not frighten her, but being around unknown persons made her uncomfortable. Chrissy was an outgoing, loveable young lady around those she was comfortable with, but this man...he was new. She had to be cautious. Lifting a graceful hand she brushed away a strand of hair from her eye hastily glancing his way. She swore he was still gazing casually at her, but she refused to believe it. The idea would only make her retract farther into her shell. Swallowing again, her lips curled into a gentle, serene grin. No reason to make him think she was dangerous. She wasn't dangerous. She wasn't.
His comment was flippant, and his voice made her insides squirm. His voice was a new experience, and the awkward feeling in the pit of her stomach made her slow to respond. Christiania twisted her neck placing both eyes on his face. He had the looks of most males she met, but Chrissy knew better. People that occupied the Orion were never that simple to figure out. Her grin was cemented onto her plump, pink lips as she watched him with a genuine curiousity set in her eyes.
"Cold...?"
The diclonius blinked several times with a pensive expression groping her face. Ever since she had perfected her temperature control, she only felt as if it were a mild summer temperature. The perfect temperature. Christiania glanced down at her short skirt, and a light pink flooded her cheeks. Was she wearing something inappropriate? The female sighed, glancing back up at the stranger with mixed feelings.
"Uhm...I don't feel the cold anymore...I can control my body temperature perfectly now!"
She was unable to hide the proud tone in her intimate voice. One of her long fingers rapped gently on the bar, and just as before a glass filled with water landed lazily before her. Instead of drowning herself in the glass, however, she gradually consumed the drink. Christiania made sure to leave some for later if the conversation went awry. The sil;ence abruptly bothered her, and she hastily made to change the subject.
"I guess you are cold then...is my clothing bothering you?"
Well, it was a terrible job at getting the subject off her, but at least the conversation was advancing. Her cheeks darkened a bit more, but she didn't think he would notice. The color her cheeks were on a normal day were an unusually darker hue anyway. Christiania sighed inaudibly, focusing her eyes upon the mystery man once more as she awaited a response.

The moment she had said that she could control her body temperature, his mind was set into action, taking him, however shortly, out of reality. The ability to control body temperature. While he didn't see what good it could do in battle, he wouldn't mind being able to do that right about now. The only thing he didn't like about this place was where it was located. Why did it have to be so damn cold? Setting that aside, he noted the pride in her voice, taking him back to when he was a child for a fleeting moment. Something about the girl gave him the vibe of a child. It wasn't an aggravating in the least. In fact, he found it slightly endearing.
'Endearing? The Hell'sa matter with you, Soneko?'
He mentally scolded himself. He barely snapped back into reality in time to hear her start speaking again. His eyes held her figure for a moment, taking in her clothing, as if he had to look at her again before answering her question. Were her clothes bothering him? Not at all. Quite the opposite, actually. While he didn't know the girl and had no emotional attachments to her, he would admit that she was gorgeous. He slightly pursed his lips in a silent approval. That didn't alter his thoughts on her at all, though. She could still be a threat, and he wouldn't let her appearance change that. He would decide if she was okay when he got to know her a little better.
"Now why would what you're wearing bother me?"
He put the kind of emphasis on his words that would probably give her the idea that he was a flirt. It was too late now, though.

"Oh well, you're expression read that way..."
People were befuddling that much was certain. How could a person have one expression on his/her face, but mean exactly the opposite? Though Chrissy had lived in the world for nearly a full year now, she still had much to learn. This only reenforced that, and she growled internally. The female despised being so weak-minded now. She had observed and experienced the horrors of being weak. Her absence was simply based on getting stronger as a person. She would no longer attach herself to any one place. Chrissy was not weak. Dwelling on this permanent loathing, she had lost the conversation for those moments. Luckily he hadn't said much while she was scowling.
However, the man hadn't said anything at all. He was staring at her with a look of approval contorting his smooth features. Her blush darkened while she grimaced. Could no one just look at her face?! Honestly. Sighing she took hold of one of her braids and began twirling it innocently around her limb awaiting his attention to return back to her. Men were the rudest creatures ever created. The one thing she was content not understanding was men. And instead of making herself angry by thinking about it, she coughed softly watching him reluctantly.
"I can see now it doesn't bother you though."
This was said more to get his attention than anything. Her legs muscles unintentionally twitched in a threatening manner, and Chrissy did not seem to notice. there was nothing new about her legs moving voluntarily nowadays. She assumed her legs were simply exhausted from the trip and they had every right to twitch uncontrollabley. Nevertheless a hand rested on her left thigh using her index and thumb to massage her aching muscles. She did not take her eyes away from the man. It was then she realized his name was still an annoying mystery. Christiania's bright, innocent smile plagued her features once more her voice light and endearing.
"I never caught your name..."

He brought his green eyes up to hers and gave a slightly sheepish grin. He could tell by her choice of words that she wasn't thrilled with how he was looking at her. He glanced away in a manor that was almost apologetic...Almost. His grin faded as he watched her play with her hair. Still nervous, huh? The next thing that escaped her lips informed him why. They were still strangers. He moved his eyes away from hers, glancing around the bar area. Seeing nobody but the two of them, he stood from his chair, placed on palm flat on the counter top and kicked off the ground, hopping over the bar. He landed on the other side with a soft tap and he was immediately moving again, ducking behind the counter to grab a glass.
"Name's Soneko. What about you?"
He appeared again, only to turn and head to the fridge, opening it and grabbing a coke, then placing it both the glass and the beverage in front of where he was once sitting. Repeating the same action from before, he leapt over the counter and took his seat again. He poured himself a half a glass and sipped at it before setting it back down in front of him. He turned his attention back to the girl, giving a slight smile, trying to get her to relax a little bit.

(Lazy post. xP)
She shifted eagerly in her chair, glancing over at him swiftly as he threw himself over the bar with such ease, muttering his name in the process. She almost missed it she was concentrated on his movements so. Chrissy's blank stare lasted until she returned to his seat where she accordingly snapped back into reality, shaking her head several times before remembering where she was. Laughing at herself sheepishly, Christiania looked back at Soneko with glittering eyes.
"I'm Christiania...but please...call me Chrissy!!"
Chrissy chirped, automatically relaxing now that she had a name for a face. her twitching muscles abruptly ceased their constant moving, and the uncomfortable shifting of her nervous vectors also ceased. Chrissy was fine now, and it was obviously shown to Soneko. She giggled, gnawing cutely on her bottom lip as she glanced over him once again. She pointed out his nice jeans instantly, but found him handsome now that she got a good look at his features. Her gaze dropped at the thought, but quickly lifted so as not to bring attention to her strange behavior.
"I could have gotten you a drink if you had only asked. Save some energy to keep your b-body warm."
Cold. The thought aggrivated her, and instinctively her temperature. Chrissy whimpered as her skin was burning from the extreme heat. Of course, she could undertake such unnecessary degrees, but it was rather uncomfortable when she was not in a battle or her adrenaline was not kicking in. After a few moments of silent concentrating her temperature lowered back to the perfect temperature and the bruning sensation melted away. Chrissy sighed apologetically, smiling once more in Soneko's direction.
"Sorry...my temperature went haywire. it got wayy too hot for me."
Explaining her magik was difficult enough, but heat control? That was a lost cause when it came to her. Chrissy was a monster when it came to describing her abilities and herself for that matter. All she could say was she was truely different from everyone else. One of a kind, and a born killer. How could you say that to people though? Shuddering, Chrissy blocked it from her train of thought, again bringing her mind to settle on Soneko. Jeez she couldn't focus at all this evening it seemed. But she shrugged it off. Everyone had their nights right?

He could tell an immediate difference in her behavior by the time he had sat down. Was that all it took for some people? A name and they were comfortable? At least the conversation should flow a little easier now. An almost unnoticeable smirk tugged at his mouth as he saw her chewing on her bottom lip. He didn't know why, but that was something he always found very attractive on a girl. He shoved those thoughts aside.
"Nah. Moving around keeps me warm for the most part. But thanks."
Now there was something that didn't come out of his mouth often. A first for inside the Orion. And he was being sincere. He noticed her slight stutter, his eyes squinting ever so slightly while he tried to understand where it had come from. He hadn't picked up any speech impediments while talking to her. But those thoughts were too cast away when she explained her body temperature situation. So she was a little rough around the edges, but everybody had their talents that they hadn't completely mastered.
"Eh, don't worry about it."
The Dark Sanctuar shrugged a shoulder, showing her that he didn't mind. He held her stare for a moment before turning his attention to the glass in front of him. He lifted it to his lips and took a swig, setting it back down. Clearing his throat, he looked back to the girl with genuine curiosity in his tone.
"So. What brings you here?"

"I-It's no trouble."
The thanks sounded awkward comming from a man like Soneko. He never struck her as the type of person who would be so pleasant. Still, the diclonius was grateful for his courtesy and took note of it for a later date. In a skittish way, she giggled flirtatiously, placing both her hands in her own lap for safe-keeping. Every so often her hands did things on their own, just like her vectors, and so she always attempted to keep them under control. Reflexes were her best friend. her left hand twitched as it sat there motionless for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually the same hand lifted and pinned the flailing strand of hair behind her multiple pierced ear. Chrissy chose to ignore the lack of obedience, focusing solely on the conversation on hand.
"Oh...uhm...I-I know K-Keno-san. We're...g-good friends. So I enjoy visiting every once in awhile...s-see what's changed and such."
Keno-san immeadiately appeared as the strong, chiseled man she remember in her head, and she blushed profusely. Her feelings for Keno were a nuiscance, and she only desired to be rid of them. They were just friends, and she had come to accept that. At least that is what she had thought for the many months of isolation. Coughing heavily into her restless hand, Christiania smiled brightly tilting her head gracefully to the left. her braids swung lazily behind her shoulders taking their time before comming to a halt. Both eyes tugged on his, urging him to stay in touch with the conversation. Her eyes had a haunting beauty that captivated people. She used it to her advantage once she realized the power she had over others. It wasn't manipulation, but when Chrissy was enjoying herself she hated the idea of the person leaving her.
"What about you, S-Soneko?"

Keno. The name rung a bell. In fact, he was sure he had at least seen the man, but he couldn't match a face with the name. He reached over to take another swig of his drink. His eyes narrowed, not out of frustration, but more interest in the girl than anything else, and yet again a slight smirk played his lips. This time keeping th glass in his hand, he watched Chrissy fidget slightly in her seat. She must be active, he thought to himself.
"I'm a friend of Deity's. Never see much of the guy anymore, though."
He had originally come into contact with Deity's brother, Tali. The two had gotten into...That couldn't even be considered a fight. Soneko had gotten his a** handed to him. He had later met Deity at a friend's bar. He never got to know the guy too well, but he had a very great amount of respect for him as a fighter. And from what Soneko could tell, he wasn't a bad guy. He was almost a goal for Soneko. Something to work for. To be able to have a one-on-one with Deity and be on the same level as him. He would find that to be an honor.
He brought his attention back to her fidgeting. He chuckled lightly before speaking.
"You look like you could use some fresh air. Or just move around a little bit. You wanna take a walk?"

"S-Sounds like fun...!"
A walk? Sounded like fun. Chrissy smiled, sliding from the barstool and onto the floor. She shook her head, allowing the braids to cascade over each shoulder. The smile grew larger, showing off her perfectly white teeth. He was sweet. She headed towards the door expecting him to follow suit. She slid her hands into her small, jean skirt pockets leaving two-thirds hanging limply out. She rocked back onto her heels for a moment before slipping quietly out the door.
