She's a riot at parties... I mean...
Play time in the bathroom= attack the rug, chase the cat toy, and try and find every small space to squeeze into.
She especially enjoys trying to get out under the door. I'd let her loose around the house, but we have a dog...

Greetings fellow guildies. I am new to the group as well as to Gaia itself. I have been roleplaying both table-top and online for over a decade, but alas the group I spent most of those years with has fallen apart thus I am forced to find new players to throw my pies and traditionally wacky comic-relief characters at. As a roleplayer I can be both serious and light, and sometimes both at the same time. I am a notorious abuser of my own characters for the entertainment of those reading my posts. As for my genres, I'd have to claim fantasy and modern paranormal fantasy as my two areas of interest. Normally I stick to human-like characters, however, lately I've been introduced to playing animal character forms and have found mystical creatures to be rather entertaining and challenging. However, I'm not beyond reach of science fiction either. I started roleplaying as a major classical Star Wars geek. cool
Seeing as this place is so massive, even with the help of the lovely RPR directory, I'm not quite sure where I want to begin. I have ideas of things I would like to try. But, I don't know how well received they might be nor am I quite sure on the proper procedure for presenting possible RP ideas. Might some helpful soul explain here or in a mail message how I should go about presenting ideas for brainstorming and practicality in terms of how inviting or interesting the idea is to potential players?
I should also note that I will be completing a mid-term and some last minute homework for one of my Summer Term classes after I post this, thus I won't be immediately available to respond to replies. However, I will try to return and respond when able. xp

Welcome to the guild! I'm sure it wont be quite as hard as you believe it is to join a decent role-play or even make your own. Getting your ideas out to interest others may be a bit of a problem if you have trouble just making a thread. Of course, posting an idea here within the Hangout will give you a slight edge, as there are a bunch of Hangout Regulars. And there also exists a small group of regulars within the OOC Subforum that pretty much take a look at everything (I know I do.), so if you post it there it will most likely be read by a few. The main way to see if there is a lot of popularity with an idea is to just post it. Though don't be surprised if one or two ideas bite the dust. We may be "home" to a large number, but I can tell you that the actual number of posters is somewhere near a hundred or so tops. I wish you luck fellow Star Wars role player!
