Jade took her time answering Taliman, responding first to User's departure. She returned the brief hug, smiling and nodding a little as he said his good-byes. The girl took part of his statement as a sign he was pleased with her improvement. All that training was paying off, and she'd finally been able to test it out in a spar.
The vacant place next to her wasn't vacant for long, however. Keno appeared out of seemingly nowhere, though it didn't seem to startle Jade at all. She was used to her brother's style. Greeting him with a soft smile, the Saiya-jin returned her gaze to the Orinian, finally, her green eyes narrowing slightly once again.
"Deity is doing just fine."
She stressed his name slightly, as if reinforcing the fact that while they were brothers by blood, Deity was no more his former self than Jade was Kirra. They might be one, but the two couldn't be more different from each other.

Drawn again to the club of his father's family and friends by an overbearing sense of nostalgia, the young kitsune drew upon the gathering in the arena quietly, keeping himself mostly concealed by the shadows of the corridor that led to the ring. Like mysterious, floating orbs, his eyes glowed through the darkness like tiny grey gems, scanning the identity of each individual in the isolated room.
The first person he noticed was his absentminded looking father, who seemed to have forgotten he was in the presence of others. Of course it would be his father. Who else could be so...insulting. What was he trying to prove, anyway? He turned his attention away before he fell into too foul a mood, his eyes falling next upon a colossus of a Saiya-jin that pretty much blocked his view of anyone or anything else. Who the hell was that?
Before he could mull it over, he heard a familiar voice that comforted him a bit, though she sounded far from comfortable herself. "Deity is doing just fine." She added a bit of emphasis on his uncle's name, as though sick to death of whoever inquired of the Tonepian's health. Well that could only be a handful of people to his knowledge, and the giant before him wasn't one he was familiar with.
Unable to see, he decided to let his nose do the rest. With a handful of sniffs, the silver canid was able to make out the distinct scent of his uncle. Of course that would make plenty of sense since Ba-chan's brother would likely never be seen with an entourage that wasn't his own offspring. With all this figured out, he had no idea as to whether he should stay or go, so simply stood idly by for lack of anything better to do. If only the Saiya-jin that had accompanied his uncle wasn't in the way, he might at least be entertained with a better view of everyone. As it was, all he could see was his father.

Satomi remained outside the doors of Orion, a little ways off into the trees. Her daughter Ren giggled as she ran around, twirling on occasion, kicking up her dark blue skirts. The young woman smiled, sitting on the ground with her back to a tree. At the moment, the woman had no interest in the gather tensions that were swirling around people's auras. It was not close to breaking yet.
Nor did she feel very apart of the lives of people at Orion. She was off on another planet most of the time, raising her daughter, and being a queen. For once solitude between just her and her daughter was more than welcome. Satomi couldn't help but miss the old days of when she was more... human-like. When she knew little about herself and has less on her plate.
A thought of her time with Deity snuck into her mind, before she whisked it away. She was happy. She ahd a beautiful daughter, and while he husband had a bit of a mean streak - which was a bit of an understatement - she loved him. Tali wasn't all bad. Pure evil hurt her soul, and he certainly did not do that.
Ren laughed happily as she tumbled over into the cold dirt. She had spun around one too many times. A little warrior or not, a little girl was a little girl.
"Ma!" Ren called, scrambling up and hurrying over. It was one of Ren's rare displays of childness. Very rarely was she this open. Only with her parents, and that was uncommon.
"Yes, Ren?" Satomi wrapped her arms around her daughter, pulling the little girl into her lap. Red was dressed in a dark blue skirts to her knews, black stockings covering her legs to dark black boots. A black jacket was tossed over the little girl's shoulders and the dark hair was left free, little tangles here and there. Satomi began to work her fingers through her daughters hair as Ren spoke.
"Papa is close."
"I know."
"Why don't we go see him?"
Satomi didn't answer right away. She knewJade was there, and there was no love between her husband and her friend. However, if anyone could keep him from starting something, it was Ren.
"Contact him and see if he's busy. If he's not, we'll head over."
Ren went still in Satomi's lap, the ever changing blue and green eyes closed as her face went blank. The little girl still needed to learn to multi task with distractions as she did this, but her strength was not lacking.
"Are you busy, papa?"

Wesley arced one brow as User said goodbye in a way only one so obnoxiously pompous could. The wannabe prince was so proud atop his sad little hill; it never ceased to be amusing. The comments evoked a wry smile from the little demon, who spoke to none specifically as the monkey boy made on his way out.
"Charming lad."
Cado eyed User closely as he departedbut swiftly turned his head when KenoTao made his being there more readily known. With neither a word nor a sound he took a single step toward the tiger with the obvious intention of confronting him. A click of Tali's tongue to the roof of his mouth halted the would-be approach, though the big Saiyajin did not take his dark eyes from Keno's. He merely stepped back behind his master in his usual fashion.
Pausing a moment before returning his attention to Jade, Taliman seemed to make little notice of Keno. He looked at the girl with a smile telling her that he knew something that she didn't, and that he was more than glad to keep it from her. It was the look that dared one to glance over their shoulder.
"I'm delighted to hear that," he replied, blinking indolently. "You will take good care to keep him that way won't you?"
Wesley spoke with a tone that was hard to discern between being genuine and sarcastic, the uncertainty arising with the tilt of his smile.
"I'm sure you have your ways to keep him happy."
Cado turned with a half-step to take a gander at the entryway to the stadium. He saw a stranger there but, unalarmed, calmly turned to face forward. At the same time Wesley's face relaxed and his eye opened a little more, no longer focused on the monkey girl before him. He was listening to something unheard by the others. Regardless of any reply he recieved, the Orinian ruler was quick to answer his little girl.
"Not at all.. I thought I felt you nearby."

Sliding open with their customary "dinging" sound the mage stepped into the main corridor of the Orion. Balancing the various studying implements she had on her person her gazed darted about the area making note of the individuals present throughout and outside the building. Things seemed to be relatively lively for once, but she was never one to talk as she was either at her mages guild or cooped up in her room.
Tucking a set of scrolls underneath her arm, she continued on her way, making a beeline for the lounge area. Dropping the they heavy leather bound tome she carried with her it landed on a inn table with discerning thunk. Wrinkling her nose at the jarring sound she sighed settling atop a nearby seat. Spreading a scroll upon her lap, she mumbled a phrase, the scroll immediately stiffening flat.
Leaning back in the cushioned seat before she started her gaze once more locked in the various directions of the individuals present. Residual mana still hung readily within the atmosphere of the arena, signifying a match of some sort. No signature present seemed to heightened beyond normal standings, so the fight was likely concluded.
Recognizing the majority of the individuals present she sighed knowing that her relationships with all present, were cursory at best. Shrugging she proceeded to return to her work. With a wave of her hand the heavy tome swung open on the last page she had been on. Raising her hand as to dictate her thoughts on the scroll concerning the dimensional reasoning behind transferring a waveform from one space and time to another without creating a paradox.
Scribbling a few calculations on the scroll she at once knew her heart was not in her work. Such was probably the reason she had left the confine of her lab to return to distinctly more public area.
Leaning back into her seat once again she began to observe events as they transpired once again. Her gazing dulling she shifted into a low level form of scrying using the many surveillance spheres she had present over the region. She undoubtedly felt like a voyeur, but boredom many times produced undesired consequences.

::Aaron blinks in the quiet, lifting his head from over his near empty mug of cocoa - which can't really be justifiably called 'hot cocoa' anymore, anyway. From the back of the room, he seems to have missed the arrival of Epithany altogether, and she likewise didn't seem to take much interest in his being there. Perhaps she merely didn't see him? Whatever the case, User is no longer present, though two other familiar faces have appeared. Some ways outside the building the Knight can feel the ki signature of his daughter in law and her child, Ren. Their being here evokes a bit of a smile, and he straightens his posture a little in hopes to look a little less broody in the event that they decide to come in. Unlike her husband, Satomi carries a much more pleasant charm about her, which is no doubt why Deity some time ago held such a profound interest in her. As a grandfather, the ancient demon really doesn't need a viable reason to wish to see Ren, the thought of her alone keeping that smile etched on his face.
Keeping to himself as he waits, the old Hykanan returns his attention to those in the stadium. Yet another new arrival - the apparent future son of Keno. He hated to eavesdrop, but it was hard not to at times. That could be a reason behind the constant worrying, he thought with a sigh, though it's a habit rather strongly ingrained at this point. It appears Taliman hasn't come to pick a fight, despite the presence of Cado. All information on that beast of a man Aaron has recieved from Angellus, who faced him once. For all anyone could know, the Saiya-jin is a robot, what with his persistent lack of emotion and his unwavering obediance. He's apparently very powerful, though to what extent the Knight can't clearly discern - his ki feels unnaturally diminished, as though a radio signal heard through the wrong frequency.
The father of the Wesleys ponders away, green eyes wandering idly about the room.::

"We're coming, then."
Ren shook her head as she looked at her mother, indicating that Tali was not busy. Smiling, Satomi waited for Ren to crawl off her lap, then stood. Dusting off her skirts, the young woman offered her hand to her daughter and the two of them began to make their way towards Orion.
Satomi was dresses simply with a woolen sweeter that bared her shoulders. It was a cream colour, which went well with the thin brown straps of the shirt she wore underneath. Her skirt was a circle skirt with light folds, that when she spun, they flared up. It was the same brown as the shirt she wore, coming down to just above her knees. The outfit was complete by her boots were mid-calf, and also a brown, though deeper than the rest of her clothing.
It took them only moments to reach Orion, little Ren sneaking in through a tiny crack in the door, Satomi following closely behind to look up and survey the place.

Scrying the different locations the mage found herself startled to find the massive knight within only steps. Blinking dumbly her concentration shattered her views of the other falling away from her minds eye.
"Losing one's self in thought seems to banish sensory effectiveness as well..."
Setting aside her materials the emerald tressed woman made her way to the giant and bowed her head in greeting.
"I know not how I could have missed you, but stranger circumstances have come about. How are you?"
Having briefly caught view of the direction of the man's gaze she too looked towards the arena.
"Things seem considerably livelier than they have been for some time."
Raising her gaze she turned towards the direction of the man's approaching extended family.
"All seems to be well in the least."

Jade's narrowed eyes shifted up to Cado as the giant of a man took a single step in their direction, looking at Keno. He returned back to where he was though, at a single sound command from the Orinian. Her eyes returned to Taliman, and a shiver ran down her bare spine at the sight of the smile. Oh, how she hated that smile. That smile means trouble, the girl thought, unable to shake the uneasy feeling within her now.
"I do my best." Though, Jade neglected to add in a line about how much easier it would be if Tali were six feet under. Her civility running low, Jade gestured to Keno with her eyes towards the exit. She wanted to leave present company.
"Until next time." Which hopefully won't be anytime soon, she kept to herself, slowly stepping to her left and around both Taliman and Cado. Jade didn't look up at the tall Saiya-jin as she passed, heading for the steps down and out of the ring. Her other shirt and CD player were still sitting there, waiting to be picked up. Once she passed the massive wall of a bodyguard, the weight that seemed to be bringing Jade down was lifted and a genuine smile returned to her face upon seeing Kenta.
Grabbing her stuff, but not bothering to put the shirt on, she walked over and put her arm over his shoulders, ruffling his hair a bit playfully. Sure, she had a torn up tank top on for a shirt no larger than a bra, but that didn't stop her. There would be some awkwardness when Keno came over, but that wasn't going to stop her. If these two started up, she'd tell them to knock it off. Simple.
"How're you, Kiddo? Been a while since I've seen you around."
It seemed there were others to greet, who had joined Dad in the main room. Epithany was near him, and two others she hadn't seen in a long time just arrived. Jade would get there in due time, though, to greet her friend and her 'niece'.

Taking his cue from Jade, who led the way out of the ring and the arena, Keno paid more attention to his son, who was simply standing around as though he had no business here. Well if that's how he felt...
The fact that the enormous Saiya-jin had advanced did not seem to startle the feline in the very least. In fact, he had to hold back a mischievous grin under the facade of indifference to keep from provoking the beast when his master issued the 'heel' command. Afterward, he answered the monkey's dark gaze with a light hearted smile, like a child who had just been complimented for his new hair cut.
When the club's princess decided to take her leave, Keno too made to depart. Deciding to be something of an a*****e, he walked not around, but toward the Emperor and his croney. Naturally, at the expected point of contact he simply walked right through them as though they were nothing, hopped out of the ring, and made his way to the hall. Deciding to let his sister and son have their fun, he continued by, offering but a proud smile towards Jade and a very knowing look toward the boy; one that suggested he could care less what the boy wanted if he wasn't going to be more assertive in getting it. Of course he kept this to himself as he made his way back to the main room.
There he found the mage engaging the knight in light conversation. Having not spoken with the eldest Wesley in some time, nor having had the pleasure of Mrs. Briefs, he decided he would accompany them with a light heart and a wild look in his eyes. Before anything came from his mouth though, two very dear people entered the club and he about tripped over his own feet in shock.
"Meikko?" he said addressing his niece, unaware of her ability to understand anything other than English. Satomi entering the building made it so that he didn't really require confirmation, and so he nodded pleasantly toward the wife of Wesley and let her be on her way, almost sure that she had come for her husband and not for him.

As the two decided to leave Tali's eye followed Jade for just a moment. Still trying to hard to look stronger. How admirable. The sly grin on his face began to dim as he looked up to see KenoTao approaching. Not going to move around, as was evident. It was a choice between pride and rubbing shoulders with a dirty, lower form of life. No need to show off before that. A good deal smaller, Wesley rolled a glance to his side and calmly stepped out of the way to let KenoTao pass. Cado did not. He did not budge. If he were suddenly hit by an uncontrollable vehicle it would have folded around him on impact. How Keno reacted to the walking brick wall was irrelevant as the guard currently had his eye on his master, ignoring the tiger brushing by him.
Pausing a moment with his eye watching the monkey woman as she leaned down to retrieve her things, the Emperor spoke aloud to his escort.
"We'll stay put, Cado. My little girl has come for a visit."
Relaxing his arms to let them fall from his chest Wesley raised his legs and crossed them as though sitting upon the floor. He floated some three feet from the battle stage, elbows in his lap and fingers interlocked. As Taliman's coattails hanged in the quiet air, Cado turned to face the entrance to the arena.

Apparently he had arrived near the end of the dialogue within the ring. He didn't mind as much considering it meant he was allowed to keep company with someone. For a moment, when the Saiya-jin behind his uncle moved, he thought he might have to prepare for an actual fight. Simple principle insisted that he had to do something if anyone threatened his aunt.
None of that really mattered however when she approached him with a very darling smile on her face. He felt a bit under dressed with his black gi on since few in Orion ever wore a gi and his aunt was barely wearing a shirt at all.
While she was busy messing his hair, he wrapped both arms about his aunt's waist very casually so that he might hug her when she let him stand back up. Happily he smiled and laughed before nuzzling into his aunt's cheek, wagging his tail carelessly.
Only when he caught his father's gaze did he sober up a bit, but even then he chose to ignore it for the most part and relish in his excitement. "I've been well Ba-chan. Just...working I suppose. What about you and Deity?"
