So we all got told to hold onto our rent today. My dad is kicking us all out because he doesn't want to have to deal with Mel's guilt trips and b***h fits. He directly and openly told me this, it's not conjecture. But since he didn't have the heart to tell her that she was the reason this house has gone down the drain, she is, of course, taking it out on me.
She told me that "my attitude was why she was treating me this way"; that I stopped reacting to her little outbursts "just to make her mad". And then when I laughed at the absolute ridiculousness of that statement she was like "See, this is exactly what I mean. You're just trying to piss me off. You know this just makes me madder, so you deserve whatever I say to you because you're being a b***h."
I almost feel sorry for her. She is going to go through her entire life blaming absolutely everything that goes wrong on anyone she can and never realize that the only reason she is so unhappy is because she refuses to accept responsibility for her own happiness.
I convinced Dad to let me put the house up on Kijiji and try to fill the rooms with reasonable people, but even if he doesn't give me a chance I'll be grateful that I never have to see her again.
