User moved around to turn to Jade, though she held on tight to him. Instead of the kick hitting his back, it was another assault to his left ribs. But this attack didn't have the same power behind it and when it collided, his ribs were lucky to not receive too much more damage. He took the pain though, fighting right through it.
The Saiya-jin pulled her closer and brought his head forward to headbutt his opponent. It wouldn't be pleasant for either of them - but it'd be worse for her. Furthermore, thanks to her grabbing his left wrist, he was able to use that arm to twist towards her thumb - which should hopefully wrench himself free. It would be best to back up, get some distance, and then continue the martial combat.

<<*bites Synnie* ^_^ *affectionately*>> Entering the arena with a graceful step befitting his status the small-statured demon slowed but continued his casual pace toward the ring. With Cado quickly catching up Taliman made notes to himself of the surrounding entities occupying the room. The most prominent was oddly nowhere to be seen, KenoTao making his own half-hearted attempt at stealth high above. Another was a creature the Emperor did not know and thus found unimportant. Papa remained alone in the front area.
Swinging his arms out from behind his waist only to cross them again around his chest, Wesley came to a stop a short distance from the ringsteps. Shifting his weight into one leg his hips swung to that side accordingly, his body appearing more relaxed as the towering Saiyajin came to a halt just behind the Orinian to his left. If for nothing else Cado was good for the sake of intimidation; as dangerous as Wesley was known to be, Cado looked even more fearsome at over three feet taller than his master. He fit the role of bodyguard exceptionally well by appearances alone.
The dull expression in Tali's eye told that he was unimpressed with the fight between the two monkeys. They remained in only their base levels though, so a spectacular show of ability was not to be expected. If a show of strength were the Emperor's reason for being on Earth then he simply wouldn't be there.

Jade was getting better. Much better than she had against Taliman. Then again, when she and the Emperor when at it, they used swords. When did her melee improve so much? Keno's adrenaline pumped at the thought of seeing what Jade could do against him. Of course, he and User were two completely different styles of fighters.
Tilting towards Tali, he watched cautiously, which brought his attention to some minor character he had taken no notice to prior. Still trying to understand what it was the Orinian intended to do, the feline took a very detailed look at his 'bodyguard.' Aside from the fact that the fox demon might not be in the mood to fight, Keno saw no reason for one as strong as him to need extra muscle.
He looked bored, which in turn diminished Keno's interest in his presence since he wasn't behaving with hostility. Besides, he was far more interested in the Saiya-jin in the ring, who weren't wasting breath acknowledging either of them. Taking his eyes off of everything, the striped man relaxed once more, awaiting some reason to formally reveal himself.

Jade was suddenly pulled in closer to User, unable to correct herself now after her kick to his back was turned to his ribs. Her grip on his wrist was slipping, and she saw his head coming at hers. The girl closed her green eyes tight, trying to brace for the impact. Then again, when it was someone as hardheaded at times as User, bracing did no good.
His head cracked sharply against hers, causing stars to burst behind her eyelids. The force threw her back slightly, releasing User from her grip and gaining him the distance he wished for. The Saiya-jin woman shook her head slightly, trying to clear her vision of star bursts and stop it from reeling. Let User make the next move, so that her head could clear faster. Trying to strike right now would only make things worse on her.
If Jade had noticed the presences of Keno, Taliman, and the others, she didn't show it. Her main focus at the moment was User, and should their fight end, then her attention would turn to the rest.

User used his newly found distance and time to charge raw ki energy into his palms. It collected quickly - and there was a lot of it. It moved like flames within his hands and burned blue then blood red then orange until it just grew brighter and brighter until it was a pure white, blinding light.
The Saiya-jin's palms burned somewhat, even though he also protected himself from most of its harm by exerting a protective ki barrier around, not just his hands, but his entire body to protect from the incredible heat - the fire was more than hot enough to burn skin. That was the whole point of it though. She'd have to dodge and hold a ki shield around herself, keeping up with both tasks at once. The Prince launched himself at his sparring partner Jade, right towards her front side and began to throw punch after punch at her.

When Jade managed to open her eyes again, she saw a blindingly bright light before her. Was it still her vision acting up? No, it was User, with untamed ki energy running rampant around his hands. This wasn't going to be easy. She focused her ki into a shield around her arms and hands especially, readying herself as he came charging in from the front.
Punch after punch was thrown at her with the raw energy scorching the air around it. Jade fended them off with open palm strikes to User's punches, twisting her body out of his reach at others. A punch came for her face, and the girl practically folded herself in half as she bent over backwards to avoid the strike, her flat palms braced against the underside of User's arm to prevent him from striking downwards on her.
Her tail snaked out and attempted to wrap itself around the Prince's right ankle. Jade turned her back bend into a back flip, trying to force User to flip over backwards himself.

User managed to move his leg away from her tail. That was an old Saiya-jin trick he knew too well - because he had used it quite a bit himself! He wouldn't fall so easily for it. His burning hands flew at her still until she placed her arms under his. He couldn't punch her - so he did something better.
As she bent down and performed a backflip to flip him over backwards, the Saiya-jin Prince moved his hands as close as he could get them to her. And suddenly, they seemed to grow brighter and hotter and then exploded like a sun going nova. It was blinding and the heat was unbearable even behind User's ki shield. The brunt of the explosion was directed as close as possible towards Jade. If she didn't exert enough ki to protect herself extremely well, she'd be burned pretty horribly.

Her plan having failed, Jade was left in an awkward position. Bent over backwards, her forearms pressed up against User's fist to keep the burning ki away from her, a shield around her arms and where her torso was close to him. What she wasn't expecting though was for that ki of his to explode.
Eyes wide with shock, her body reacted faster than her mind did. Her ki suddenly focused on the high damage area, while she pushed forcefully against User's hands, suddenly launching herself down towards the ring floor below. Throwing her self down saved her from the brunt of the heat, though the explosion itself still rocked her body. Jade's tanktop, however, was not so lucky, the purple fabric burning away slightly. Her chest was exposed down to her navel, the black bra she wore underneath singed, but still intact.
She flipped over rapidly as she fell, gathering a massive amount of ki into her hands. Jade landed hard in a crouch on her right knee, head bowed slightly. Ignoring her burned clothing, The girl's head snapped up towards User. Her hands met palm to palm behind her head before being brought forth, unleashing a large Tiger Wave up at User above her.

User watched as Jade plummeted towards the ground and then regained herself. The man was already in motion, charging up a Galic Gun. Purple energy balled into his palms - which felt like that had sun burn on them from his own attack. The purple energy sparked around him, encircling the warrior - he was going all out with the attack.
However, he launched only one hand forward - a powerful one-handed Galic Gun. It met with Jade's Tiger Wave blast which resulted in a brief surge of energy when they met. But User had no intention of locking them in a ki wave struggle, especially since the power behind Jade's Tiger Wave far exceeded his own ki wave. Instead, he canceled the one-handed Galic Gun, then teleported himself to get behind Jade just a foot away from her back. With his other hand, he unleashed the second Galic Gun towards her.
He had made it look as though he was charging the standard Galic Gun blast - but instead one was meant as a faux blast and the other was the true one. He thought it was pretty clever himself, but he'd see soon enough.

The tiger hadn't expected that at all. From step one, Jade was showing a whole new side of herself that Keno hadn't yet been able to witness. Each of her moves was thought out better and executed effectively. She had certainly become more adept at battle and more sensitive to her situation and that of her opponent. Compared to the match she had against Tali, this one was certainly a large improvement. He could confidently say he was proud of the young Princess of Orion.
But the Tiger Wave...
Of all the things Jade had learned, the Tiger Wave was the most distinct lesson Keno had offered. It was the one lesson she received most willingly from him. Now she was putting it to use, and doing so quite well, as though it were second nature. Even Keno could admit that it was a relatively simple technique, but it was his first unique move. Jade using it lightened even his spirits, but of course he'd only wear a conceited grin to show his satisfaction.
And then the rafters shook as the Wave impacted the upper reaches of the stadium. It was violent yes, but not jarring or unnerving. Still, Keno could gauge the power of the blast rather well. It was about as much as he had expected.
"Not bad."

((*dashes in and scoops up Deity, nuzzling him back to life while resisting the urge to luffbopple him for being up so late*))
Jade canceled her Tiger Wave moments after User canceled his first Galic Gun, suddenly vanishing from sight. He reappeared right behind her, a mere foot or so away from her exposed back. She spun around rapidly, still in a low crouch, swiftly gathering ki into her hands and throwing them up in front of her in the knick of time.
She caught the Galic gun, and was pushed back by the force of it, her boots tearing up the ring floor. Holding it back as she was with her hands, there was no way she'd be able to charge up a counterblast. Her mind was going a mile a minute though.
Narrowing her eyes, Jade focused a large amount of ki into a shield in her left hand, drawing her right one back away, holding the Galic off with one hand now. She now focused ki into her right hand, rearing her arm back as far as she could. With a short yell, the girl threw a punch right at the purple blast, combining her ki and Two Layers again. The result was explosive, the force of the punch turning the Galic in on itself.
Jade appeared again, dashing swiftly through the cloud of dust and debris for User. Her tanktop had not faired well, the front completely split down the center and just hanging on by the straps, her bra the only thing to cover her. But the fact she was half naked didn't stop her from attacking, like it might others. Just before she reached User, Jade jumped and aimed a rapid flurry of kicks for Users head and upper chest.
