Now that I think of it, most of my close friends don't listen to many American songs...even if they don't like JRock, they listen to JPop or even other languages, like French, German, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, etc. I just deleted most of my English songs too...
One of my friends even just told me recently at a place they can make CDs, her sister titled the CD "American songs" because they only have 1 CD worth of those...

I've only listened to Japanese music and French.
anyway.... uhmm.. Yeah Ruki's voice.
i used to be super obsessed on how much lovely it sounds especially in lives but the Decomposition Beauty Tour was a little downer to me.
Even my sister thought Ruki sounded a bit wierd and she rarely listens to GazettE. I'm just concerned. confused
Not the best vocals ive heard of him.
the performance itself was awesome though.

I dont think it was the smoking that got to his voice.
remember all the tough songs he had to sing, I mean I know how hard it is to sing a large amount of songs straight, it puts alot of strain to your voice. Maybe he was trying to take it easy

I watched the whole thing now...I see what you guys mean, but I didn't think it was that bad. I read in a lot of places that it wasn't that great, so I guess I was preparing for the worse. That's a good thing sometimes because it turned out better than I expected so I enjoyed it more.
I think the thing that overshadowed it the most was it's really hard to follow up a tour finale after what they did at the Budokan for Nameless Liberty. That was just a beautiful live. But I think they did the tour justice overall.

i didnt think it was that bad either.
i just think his vocals werent their best that day. [i mean if you went on a freakin tour and after singing so much i dont think that you can even talk when you reach Yokohama xp ]
i just meant ...well..ha...it was probably my fault.
i probably just got high expectations.
they still make me feel all squealish...which im trying to avoid.>_>

I think Ruki-sama's voice sounds like Kyo's just a little in Miseinen, but the rest of the time, his voice isn't as deep as Kyo's.

if you mean in the end of nameless liberty, I think his voice only sounded like that because he was exausted I mean did you see the tired look on ruki's face towards the end. He was happy but really exausted. I remember I sang almost 9 songs straight (jrock) and by the 7th I was already starting to feel it, so yeah it is a tough job. Yeah nameless liberty is hard to compare to because every song was basicly perfect, however I dont know why but I liked ruki's scream in taion better in yokohama dont know why

It is exhausting. But gosh, they did like 20 something songs...that must really be a strain.
It's funny that you said that about his scream in Taion, because I kind of thought that too razz .

lol yeah I liked it , my cousin who is also a major jrock fan. She didnt really see the live yet so I was watching taion and when ruki scremed, she was like what the hell was that ruki. I was like yup, and she was like my god I've never heard a scream like that its insane lol
