Myrrha had been attempting to find another stone that she could throw at the youma. The smoke in the air was making it hard to scan the ground at her feet as she searched for another decent sized projectile. Perhaps that is why the danger she was in did not register until it was too late. One second she was deep in concentration and then the next moment she found herself launched into the air. Her entire left side of her body was figuratively on fire. The sense of weightlessness lasted for all of several seconds before gravity reasserted itself.
Once, as a child, she had fallen off a set of monkey bars and landed on the ground hard. This was much, much worse.
There was a sound like a dull thud as Myrrha hit the earth on her side. Her awareness of the battlefield flickered and dimmed as she fought to stay conscious. Her struggle to catch her breath lengthened as she attempted to prop herself into a sitting position. At least that is what she tried to do. Mere seconds passed and an agonized cry materialized as her right hand erupted in a sharp pain. The wave of pain caught the scents senshi off guard. Bringing her obviously injured wrist closer to her body and cradling it was all she could manage to do before the overload on her system became too taxing. Of its own accord consciousness fled Myrrha's body.

Castor looked back at the battlefield and shuddered, coughing and briefly closing his eyes from the smoke. How many would be dead? How many would fall before they might escape? If they couldn't get the portal in time... He didn't know is his power would work here. He'd taken at most a handful of people but never more. His world was still there, connected to him, but if that portal fell they'd all have to try and reach their worlds, and it was likely some of them couldn't. Ganymede was down and out, meaning that she'd need to be moved, and she wouldn't be able to save anyone that way.
The eternal might be able to take others, but supers, basics? They'd be almost helpless, their focus often weak and trying to take others would be damn near impossible.
They were dying, and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Blue eyes went back to his knight as he told her the plan, the only one he could hope might work. "I can use my power to give us a temporary advantage- but I need to be left alone while I'm casting." He breath was shaking, and he knew he did not sound the confident royal he should be. Memories did not make decisions in battle easier. Experience didn't make the choice easier. "If I get attack it will be for nothing. All I need a minute or so of just keeping people off of me."
The roar of the youma made Castor wince, and once more, he threw his tiara at the beast. "Can you do this for me?" One knight and two senshi might not be enough, but he needed one he could trust. Still, looking at the chibi he hoped the boy understood as well.
Rocks were falling, and Subamara knew her internet memes.
She turned her gaze to the rocky cavern above, and the monstrous draconic youma that blotted it out, showering the area with shattered crystals. Black fire gave no light, but she could feel the heat already. There wasn’t any safe place here, any shelter for the wounded. Nowhere to regroup.
Another round of dislodged crystals rained down, along with a dragon scale that clipped her arm and shattered, tiny biting fragments burying themselves in her skin. She swallowed a gasp at the pain, moving quickly to shield the injured girl beside her. One arm out to support Grus, she grabbed one of the larger shards with her free hand and pitched it back at the youma as others were doing. For all the good it would do on something that big.
“’Redirect attacks’ does not sound useless! It sounds super-useful! What’s it worked on before?” she asked Ananke, as the dragon spewed more flames at the crowd. Keeping up the conversation made the whole impossible mess seem more manageable, like they had some small level of control over it if they could just discuss. She knew running a motor-mouth kept her own fears at bay. They could not die here. They had far too many other things to do, lives to live outside their senshi ruffles.
Grus didn’t look like she should stand up, let alone walk, but Subamara didn’t like her chances of actually carrying the other girl by herself. Risky or not, they had to get out of here. She moved to help her up as gently as she could, checking the bandage was holding.
“Okay, lean on me. I’ve got you.”
Subamara looked from Ananke to Athene and his helpers. Leaving anyone behind here was not an option either. “Let’s go?”

Sailor Elpis
Elpis huffed, the fire most unpleasant (Damn dragons) and then Huntitewas aiming for a kick. Elpis dropped her hread, arm strongly protesting the motion of the kick and her effort to twist at the same time. The foot grazed the back of her head, and Elpis huffed, suddenly yanking with all of her strength. Even if he landed on top, she should be able to think of something.
Likely.
Natsuko-neko
Yup. Silly nerds.Look Huntite don't kill my baby that's all I ask.
Ananke laughed. "Truth to be told this is my first experience with fighting... But I figure as long as it can travel threw my portals I can redirect it..." She hoped... but she could feel for herself people and things like weapons people held onto wouldn't go through...
She then prepared herself mentally for the plunge into the battle field. "Alright, we'll have to be careful as possible... I don't know if it'll work but I'll try and redirect attacks that come flying at us... but I can't be sure everything will work so... we also have to be ready to dodge." She got next to Subamara and Grus as close as she could without getting in the way of their path.

Ananke isn't attacking but is now pretty much entering the battle.
It slammed into him with all the force of a moving car, completely knocking the breath out of him as he as swept to the side. A half choked gasp barely escaped his throat; he did not have anything in his lungs to make any more of a sound. Scales ripped at his uniform, dug into the cut that Laurelite had made, and the pain was like his body was on fire, erupting up from his midsection and exploding outwards.
Celsus collapsed onto the ground where he had been knocked, dragging air into his lungs. He couldn't - he had to keep moving, dragging himself up once more, though it took every ounce of effort he had left in his body. He swayed unsteadily, his vision wavering -
- and saw, ahead, Denebola running ahead, his summons flapping away. It fizzled and disappeared, and Celsus felt a roar of mingled fear and frustration as she leapt at Altais,Corvus standing near to them as Denebola was bodily thrown at the youma.
She was doing her best. She was being strong, and so was Corvus and so was Altais, and what was he, Celsus doing, other than lacking the necessary abilities to do anything at all of worth? Here he was, standing on the battlefield, and the fire was raging around them, his lungs burning with the effort of breathing through the smoke and the flames.
He had no strength to yell anymore, though he wanted to. He wanted to scream, wanted to shout, wanted to do all he could and yet he felt utterly useless. The whip in his hand felt pathetically underwhelming in comparison to everything else, to everyone else.
You were a mistake, whispered the Code inside of his head.
The whip fizzled out of existence. Celsus reached down, bruised fingers finding a shard of crystal and wrapping around them, trembling from head to toe.
And he threw himself desperately, not at the youma, but at Laurelite, drawing back his arm and aiming to thrust the crystal shard into any part of her that he could find, preferably her neck or her head, somewhere, anywhere something that could do anything at all.
He wasn't strong enough, and he knew it.

Sailor Etamin, Senshi of Hieroglyphics Etamin gripped the burning 3 by 4 in his left hand, thinking. If he attacked with the 3 by 4, Spyder would surely stop it with one of his six arms. He used his last blinding spell to blind Spyder once more, and charged him. But Etamin knew that wouldn't be enough. He held a dagger-sized burning piece of wood (it was burning him somewhat awful) behind his back, where it would land, only time would tell.."

Sailor Chibi Perdita
“I know how to run without you holding my hand,” Perdita told Chara, though it wasn't hostile and she didn't try to pull her hand away just yet. She had to wonder if he was doing it more for her comfort or his own. His hand seemed shaky, so she thought it might be the latter.
She pulled him to a stop when the dragon swooped over the area, unleashing fire upon the battlefield. It was not long before fire completely surrounded the invasion party.
They weren't going to make it to the portal.
Perdita looked over her shoulder to check on the others. She hid it well, but she was a little afraid now. Even though she'd gone into this knowing there was a chance she might die, she'd hoped that wouldn't be the case.
Now it seemed very likely.
Some of their allies were attacking the dragon with rocks and pieces of crystal. Perdita didn't see how that could help given how large the dragon was, but they at least managed to crack some of the scales. Magic worked well enough.
Perdita had never seen a youma so strong, so massive. If they weren't in such grave danger, she would have been utterly fascinated by it. Instead, she had to put most of her attention into putting distance between her group and the flames, dodging swipes of the youma's tail in the process.
She coughed due to the rising smoke, and finally pulled her hand away from Chara to rub at her burning eyes. She looked to Ambrosia, Oort, and Tomlin again to see how they were holding up.
What could all of them do against a youma so dangerous, so powerful?
Perdita had no ideas. Her magic wouldn't be useful at all in a situation like this. What more could any of her allies do? Surely most of them had exhausted most (if not all) of their magic. They had no weapons. They couldn't even see the portal. Was it even still open? They'd been here so long already. Surely an hour must have passed since they crossed through.
When the dragon swooped low over them, Perdita did the only thing she was able to do. She thrust her broom upward and stabbed the already abused flesh beneath the dragon's chin.
"Yes," Aptera's determined reply was also accompanied by a nod. She took up a stone for each hand. Then, her eyes moved with a swift sweep around their group. She wanted to be able to protect all she could as she sent up a silent prayer for strength before the quick moment itself drew to a close. And then she transitioned to facing back out with more focus returned again to keeping youma away and hoping as a result Prince Castor would be able to execute his plan.
"Please don't hesitate to call for my attention toward any monster setting its sights on us and I'll help face it and others drawing near like it with all my strength," she added in speaking to their group though she kept her gaze mainly taking in as much of the area full of threats.
Perhaps she would have questioned her capabilities more immediately if this had been the day she had first awoken, but she had been doing a notable amount of training since then; playing ball games with Elysha and Rick, taking boxing lessons with her cousin as well, and so forth. Even before awakening, she's characteristically an active sort and she had every intention now to continually draw from any experiences she could apply in combat to ward off enemies.
Sailor Altair
Worry was certainly evident in Altair's features but also present and within the blend of her many emotions was a determination in kind. "I-I'll also work hard to help keep the monsters away," she said to their group before standing up also armed with one stone in each hand and having her figure positioned to be facing and taking in the area that was the opposite direction Aptera was angled at.

Captain Aquamarine
The burning sensation ended some time ago, but Aquamarine took a while to pick himself up off of the ground in case any aftershocks should come over him. When he was sure that the attack was truly finished, he picked his dagger up and climbed back to his feet.
Everything went to hell very quickly. Laurelite was ripping starseeds and slaughtering people left and right. Aquamarine tried not to look. He didn't really fancy blood and gore, but it was hard to look away from her. She made it look so easy.
Then the Greater Youma came, and Aquamarine cursed ******** breathed flame around the scene of battle. Fortunately, the flames seemed to affect their enemies only, which was at least somewhat reassuring. But the youma's tail swiped wildly. Aquamarine was sure that, although they were immune to the fire, the claws and spiked tail might still be an issue.
“This is overkill,” Aquamarine said.
He backed up, grabbing the collar of Jet's jacket to pull him along as well, heading back to Lace and Seraphinite now that the Squire was gone.
“There's no ******** point in us being here now,” he continued. “That thing has them all surrounded. They'll all burn.”

Bifrost Knight of Chronos
There were two things that happened almost at once. The first, a draconic woman got in the way of her shield, shoving Bifrost back with inhuman strength. A fist quickly followed, and it was all Bifrost could do to raise her shield to block the punch.
The second was the arrival of the greater youma. Denebola wrestled with Laurelite, Celsus did... something, and then everything was lost into the chaos of the fighting and Bifrost had a dragon lady to deal with.
Why was it always dragons? Why couldn't it be kittens, or gryphons, or maybe even a unicorn!
"I. HATE. DRAGONS!" came the knight's battle cry as she swung her shield at Cinnabar's chest, aiming to bash her ribcage in. Or nose. Or break an arm. OR SOMETHING.

Andronicus Squire of Uranus
In different circumstances, Andronicus would have been excited. Super effing excited with jumping up and down and trying to pet it and taming it for herself. It was a dragon! She loved dragons, dragons were honestly her thing and she wanted one so bad.
This thing though was a youma.
"... Well then. Time to kill a dragon!" she told the Martian with her, charging full steam ahead to whack the dragon in the hip with her mace.

Chibi Iduna, Senshi of Apples
No where in the "you're a senshi!" talk did it include anything about dragons, or greater youma of any kind. It didn't go over what you were supposed to do in situations where you were in over your head, or facing down a real life fire breathing dragon. Iduna had no manual, had no real guidance. She'd stuck to her little patrol route because it was safe and quiet.
The last time she'd stared down a dragon, it had been a dragon lady and it had gone as you'd expect it to have gone. This was terrifying. This was too much. This was far more than she'd ever signed up for and she wanted to be saved. She wanted someone to come in and save her, like all those times her parents yelled and screamed and threw objects. If only someone would come save her.
Yet that was naive and childish and waiting around for a hero wasn't going to save her, here and now. If either she or Cadmus were to get out there alive, they had to save themselves. Didn't stop her from being scared out of her mind, though.
"O..okay. Its a youma, just like the rest. It's just really... really big. And breaths fire. We can do this. Right? Right." The chibi spoke half to herself, half to Cadmus, and tugged him along as she found a safe-ish spot within range. Which really made it less safe but they really didn't have the time to be picky.
"One Bad Apple!" called the chibi senshi, a rotten apple appearing over the dragon's shoulder. It fell, and if it hit, it would be squishy, gross and not pleasant. Probably woefully ineffective too.

Sailor Skoll, Senshi of the Pack
Well that was inconvenient. What do you do with a giant dragon?
PUNCH IT.
Okay maybe normal sane people wouldn't punch the dragon, but Skoll had come to realize that 'sanity' wasn't something you had when you were a magical woman, with semi-super human strength, in a cavern of evil fighting a dragon. This whole thing was something out of a crazy sci-fi show, or anime, and the only way for it to make sense was to go with it.
So Skoll launched herself in the air and punched the dragon.

Alexandria
"Long story short, I did something stupid, again. Twice." Alex wheezed. "I will- ow - tell you later." He added, hissing as Sess grabbed onto his arm. "At least I'm not bleeding this time?" He half joked.
"I am out of magic.." He mumbled, as he looked at the dragon. The squire dragged his gaze back to the knight when Sess called him, looking up at the taller man. Sess looked tired, among other things, and Alexandria mentally kicked himself. Sess had enough to worry about, what had Alexandria been thinking, trying to drag him from one thing to another. "I don't know what you expect me to do other than drag him but..." Alexandria nodded. "I'll get him out of here. You two are going to be my death. Again."
The squire sighed as Sess gently nudged him off, once again making another grab for the knight, only this time catching his wrist. "Wait." He murmured as he pulled the last two vials from his pack and pressed them into Sessrumnir's hand. "You're not looking so good yourself." He said, hoping the knight didn't take it as an insult. "Use those, if you can. It's a salve so just rub it in. It should help." He glanced at Sess once more. "Don't go dying on me, and I won't die on you. Got it?"
