Probably because she had been allowed to use her water pulse to try and pop the balloons. The Tyrantrum gave a big snort from his nostrils as the skinny blonde waved to him. At least she had enough decency to acknowledge him. He gave a content yawn, sort of curling up in the sand he had settled down into. Kuno, once the blond had backed away, tilted his head with an 'aru' sound as if to ask what he did, tongue lolling out. He then crouched down in a playful position, butt wagging in the air with his tail before running a circle around Cheria. "O-oh! Don't worry, Kuno isn't going to hurt you! He's a good boy!" Rose exclaimed as she noticed Cheria backed away from the mightyena. The hyena then bolted off across the sand energetically towards the water, barking at the waves that came in.
Rose was then excited to go do something rather than standing around. "Yeah, we can go do both!" she beamed, agreeing with Cheria. "There seem to be changing rooms over there, too, if needed... You shouldn't get your pretty yukata dirty." Fynx commented, pointing towards what indeed seemed like your typical beach changing areas. The building likely also contained restrooms and showers. Rose scrunched up her face, then just simply untied her yukata, handing it over to her starter so that she was only wearing the plain tank top and shorts that she was wearing underneath. "There! Problem solved!" Rose announced. Fynx's ears swiveled back. It seemed her trainer didn't really see anything wrong with doing such a thing out in the open. Well, at least it wasn't like she had changed completely out in the open. The Delphox sighed, and set out to fold up the yukata neatly, tucking it into Rose's bag on the ground.
Rex gave a grunt of agreement to Shenaiya's suggestion, but Rose didn't give the answer he would have liked. "Awwwww! But we are here, at the beach, ready for fun! We can get them more food after some running around. I don't think Rex is gonna starve while we play." Rose replied, then took hold of Marx's arm. She was about to tug him so they could get going to go treasure hunting or swimming, but then he asked about pokemon joining Basil playing around. She looked to her other pokemon, then to Fynx. "It seems that Vesper has already gone off. Probably to play some games. " Fynx stated. "I dunno. Looks like Vesper has a head start on that, heh~ but maybe Bijou or Gina might be interested in joining for fun." Rose answered, then tugged Marx's arm. "Let's get started on the fun already!" she smiled, ready to swim or treasure hunt depending on what would be done first. "I'm staying here with your stuff, Rose." Fynx told her, settling down to sit beside Rose's bag. Opal slithered her way over to bask in the sun nearby, and Chifaera moved over to nudge at Flygon.

Darren cringed as once again he'd messed things up. Sable had taken the picture, and they were on their way back down, and now Darren had just possibly alerted a large angry bird of fire of their presence. He stood slowly, and they started moving agin, but when Jin cringed and mentioned that it was time to go, Darren felt his heart hit the floor. They started walking faster but it wasn't enough. A flap of wings and a screech alerted them that they were busted, as Sable yelled out and took off running. Darren quickly followed suit, giving a yelp as a warning shot of fire nearly torched them, and took off down the mountain.
He looked back a few times just to make sure they weren't being pursued, and thankfully it seemed that they weren't. Eventually they made it back down to the hot springs and Darren nearly took another tumble from exhaustion, but thankfully made it to the hot springs building and leaned against the wall. "Hah... I think... We've earned our time in the hot springs don't you?" Darren chuckled. Nearly getting roasted and having to run for their lives earned a nice relaxing soak in the hot springs right?

Fed up of watching Savannah he leaned in to her ear to be heard over all the commotion. The crowds around the games were getting tick and the noice was getting to be to much for him so he figured he'd take a walk and let her finish up her game. "Ima go take a walk. ill meet you by the hotdog stand in a little." With that and a soft pat on the back he left her behind slipping between two stalls and behind the main roads crowds and onto a side road seeking to find a more secluded spot to relax a little before venturing back into the lions den of the festival.
He came upon an old Japanese style shrine set between two boulders. One carved with a mans likeness and the other a women's. The shrine had a fetched roof covering it with a mine dojo like structure built around it. A single candle burned on the females side leaving the males in dark night shadows that hide a lot of the detail he saw on the women's. A candle was set out to be lite but why it hadn't was a mystery. Perhaps it was simply tradition to lite one side first then the other later.

In front of the shrine, set into the ground was a large gray stone slab, polished and edges with fine detailed and very intricate markings. Yukie stepping up to the slap to examine the inscriptions was taken aback by the detail and effort it had to have taken to make such an object. Sable's Beedrill did a good job with the dart toss game this time around, popping all ten balloons with some well-aimed poison needles. That earned her a solid ten tickets for her basket. Not enough to quite catch up with Rose and Oaken, but enough to help close the gap. She just had to do better once the next set of games rolled around. And, of course, that the two grass types did well at the arcade games on this attempt.
Several yelps could be heard from Sable and Jin as they avoided being torched from the occasional fire attack that was sent at them. After about a third of the way down the mountain, the flames stopped coming, but Sable wasn't keen on stopping to see if the large bird had given up or something. Instead, she focused on contuing to run down the trail, stumbling multiple times on rough spots until the trio finally reached the base. Even Jin ended up falling flat on his face a few times, but didn't bother with the various bumps and scrapes he got as he sprinted down the trail.
Sable and Jin were both breathing heavily and slowed down as they reached the hot springs building."Yeah... Yeah... I think... It just wanted to sleep..."Sable gasped as she put her hand against the wall of the building to support herself. She considered herself fortunate that she didn't have that coughing fit problem anymore, or else she'd probably have been in much worse shape. Jin chuckled a bit at Darren's suggestion that they treat themselves with a hot soak now."Out of the pan... And into the pot...?"he asked, then let out a wheezing laugh before straightening up to head inside. He was certainly looking forward to a soak. Sable chuckled a bit, then went in behind the disguised Zorua once she caught her breath.

The video games went okay, but Oaken and Rose were a few points short of hitting the seven ticket mark. Still, they at least got three, which were handed over to Sable's Beedrill and placed in her basket. Which was good, but the Beedrill hoped they'd have some better luck the next time they played.

And, of course, the Beedrill's spin of the wheel was only about average. A pity, but that was still six tickets to hand over to Oaken and Rose.
