"Provided we make use of the darkness, we should be able to sneak in through the tunnels..." He looked at Meta, the Horzun would be useful to get them swiftly to the tunnels at the back of the castle, but after that, he had no plan... Unless they charged in head first and lay waste to whatever they could find...But then again, to do that would most certainly end up with them becoming captured or even killed...

"We need to find Jack and the servant who helped me escape...if we can sneak in and rescue them, perhaps he will have a better plan..." Tala felt a little awkward not having much more of a plan than sneaking in...but he knew they couldn't just run - it wasn't in his nature...

They finished their meal first before Tala would set to removing any sign that they'd stayed in that location... Once that was done, he'd ensure Meta was well equipped before offering Rosa the chance to mount the Horzun before him.

Meta stayed laying so it would be easier for Rosa to mount him. He was ready, understanding to not go barging in though to the beast's mind it would be faster to just run around till found them but wouldn't go against a good other plan of being stealthy.

Rosa finished and nodded, standing and got onto Meta, holding on as the Horzun stood and snorted, shaking his head and stomped the ground, ready to go to get into the castle. He remembered the tunnel they had left to get him out of the castle from Jack's room. He would stay put till Tala mounted him and then he would take off, making sure to use the darkness of night to their advantage.

The Horzun would make his way to the castle, picking a spot without guards and ran, jumping over the gated wall easily and landed, wasting little time heading for the tunnel system that lead to Jack's room, an easy entree point. He kept his ears opened and sniffed the air, trying to pick up Jack's scent, remembering it from their first encounter with the human.

Rosa held on, hoping that Jack was alright, having her necklace still in her pocket, making sure it was secure there before hand and hoped Jack was alright along with the servant Tala spoke of.

Meta when in the tunnel had moved carefully, lowering his body and moved carefully, snorting and looking around. When to the exit into Jack's room the Horzun would look around, not liking the silence, it felt unnatural to the beast. Waiting till Rosa and Tala were ready Meta then began to head up to Jack's door, letting Rosa open it so he could stick his head out to look around.

It was quiet and this caused Meta's tail and mane to prickle and spike out, ready to be used if needed. Carefully Metal moved along the hallway, looking around, his body tense and steps quiet as they could be but still gave soft echos in the quiet night hallways. Meta was picking up faint scents of Jack and were following them but wasn't letting his guard down, prepared to protect the two on its back.

Tala decided that riding the beast within the halls would leave them at a disadvantage if they were spotted, so he slid off, walking alongside the beast before straying ahead as he recognised the corridors...

"We need to let the Royals know Arthur is in league with the Dark Lord..." Tala frowned, pausing as he spotted a faint flickering of light bouncing off the walls as someone advanced towards them from the end of the corridor, "I'll see if I can find my mother, if you think you can find Jack, we should focus on breaking him out and regrouping somewhere out of sight...The less anyone is aware of our being here, the better..." He wasn't sure of Rosa would be alright with splitting up, but Tala felt they would stand a better chance of finding everyone they needed if they parted ways...

Rosa stared, she didn't like this idea one bit, she hated it. Watching Tala she looked scared but swallowed and slowly forced herself to nod. "Okay......should we regroup here at Jack's room or in the gardens by the rose bushes where I and the gardener had been?" She asked as she felt the Horzun's body tense more as it was preparing itself to move.

Meta would wait till Tala answered Rosa before he would move off with Rosa to locate Jack, following the scent it picked up on, heading down another hall and going carefully towards some stairs, finding it leading down below, an an area Rosa hadn't been in there. She hoped Meta knew where he was going.

When heading down she softly formed a small orb of light, trying to make sure it would not explode on them. She was starting to get the knack of her powers of light and was glad for this, starting to feel more confident that she would be able to set things right, not wanting Tala to lose his mother or father because of her not having banished the Dark Lord already.

Tala could see in her face that she wasn't happy about splitting up, but knew if they could get in and back out as quickly and as quietly as possible, then it was going to work. "Meta will protect you, and I can hold my own..." at least he felt he could... "The gardens will give us enough room to fight if we need to, and a means of escape." he petted Meta, then turned and headed off towards his parents quarters...

It quickly became apparent that the watch was pretty lax... Tala had only been forced to avoid one patrol of guards - and with the castle no doubt expecting an infiltration, he would have expected many more.

Eventually, he found the doorway to his parents room...it was also unguarded.

Twisting the handle he slipped inside, his eyes scanning the room before coming to rest upon two forms on the bed... Forgetting stealth, he stepped forward, standing over Lyssandra who appeared to be sleeping softly...

"You really make this all too easy..." The man's voice made Tala's skin crawl and the male snapped round, seeing nothing but blackness...

"What have you done to them?!" Tala snarled, forming a ball of blue light in his hands before holding it high so he could attempt to locate his enemy...

"They're sleeping...for now." Arthur's face appeared out of the shadows, the man was grinning, "You should have run, Boy." Arthur straightened out, "But then again, the True King of this realm would have found you anyway..." he chuckled, somehow snuffing out the light of the orb and plunging the room into darkness... Sounds of great movement, as though a dozen bodies had suddenly erupted out from every direction force Tala to reach for his daggers, but his actions weren't swift enough and he was knocked unconscious.

Candles were lit, bringing light back to the room and Arthur would watch as the Prince was carried out into the corridor. "Find me the girl and her...pet. Bring everyone down to the throne room once you have them, Prisoners and Royals included...I want to have a little fun..." he grinned as he followed the soldiers down the corridor.

Rosa was unaware of Tala's capture, she was also unaware of what had befell the Royals, Tala's parents. She and Metal continued onwards, going downstairs following Jack's scent. As Metal got to the bottom of the stairs the Horzun snorted, starting to make a low growl noise.

Rosa watched confused by this and moved her light orb forwards and seen shadows moving and heard noises as well. Quickly she tossed her light orb at the shadows at the base of the stairs, the Horzun turning and racing back up as the explosion rang out.

They knew they were there, they had been expecting them, that explained to Rosa why there was few to no guards in the halls unlike before when they were there. Meta ran back upstairs, whining as the beast continued to run, seeing the door closing Meta picked up speed and Rosa lowered her head down, closing her eyes. She heard the crash as Meta slammed his body through the dungeon door and looked up as they came back into the hallway.

The beast whined and ran down a hall, trying to relocate Tala's scent now, wanting to get him and flee, feeling something very wrong and didn't want the friend of Rosa to be lost to them. The Horzun ran, turning down another hall and ran through doors, looking around in the darkness of the ballroom, snorting.

Rosa looked around shaking and formed an orb of light in her hand, looking around confused. "....I think we're lost Meta..." she whispered as the Horzun walked around looking around and snorted, his tail still spiked and barbed like its mane ready to fight.

The throne room was lit up by flaming torches, there were guards on the doors and the Royals were seated...

Trogan and Lyssandra each had their own throne, both would find their wrists bound to the arms and therefore unable to move... The King was less than impressed and voice have voiced his displeasure had he not been gagged, Lyssandra was in the same position, but she had been allowed to speak, even though she held her silence...

Jack stood in the hands of the guards beside the King, whilst equally as restrained was the Prince - Arthur had stood him beside his mother, hoping for some conversation between the pair but didn't care that both were silent...

The centre of the throne room would hold a large, crystalline mirror which had been covered in preparation for the 'show' Arthur stood beside it, almost guarding it, but in reality he was the centre of attention and was thoroughly enjoying himself.

"It won't be long now, your Highnesses..." the man grinned, he was more than aware his soldiers were most capable at wrangling their guests, "Then we can start this show." he chuckled, then turned to the black sheet, running his hand over the fabric whilst hoping his Master was ready and waiting for the unveiling...

Meta moved slowly, Rosa looking around, not aware of the room having guards. Hearing steps Meta whined bucking and Rosa screamed, holding onto the Horzun as the beast attacked one guard that tried to grab them from behind then swung its tail, smacking a second and moved, trying to get out as the doors closed.

Heavy chains were tossed out and latched around the Horzun's neck, causing it to struggle harder and started to pull the guards with it. Rosa tried to keep on, starting to charge a light spell and let it explode causing the men to scream that her attack hit.

Crashes came from the ballroom in the fight with the guards and the black beast that wasn't going to stop without a fight but eventually the noises quieted and when the doors opened to the throne room the Horzun was lead in, it's four legs were in heavy shackles, four chains were around its neck, held by four guards and two more chains around its waist, held by two more and a muzzle like was round its snout keeping the mighty beast silent.

It's eyes locked onto Arthur, it snorted and tried to charge him but was stopped by the six guards that jerked the beast hard to keep it back. "Where do you want this....thing?" one guard asked grunting as he jerked on his chain to control Meta.

Another guard came in, carrying a knocked out Princess Rosa in her cloak and nightgown. Her wrists were shackled behind her as the guard with her nodded. "And where do you want her? By the way, she managed to kill some guards with her magic." the guard said annoyed at the blood bath that was in the ballroom now.

"Have the maids deal with the mess," Arthur showed little consideration for the fallen men and instead turned his attention to the girl as she was carried in. "You can place her over there - I think it only right she is the first thing our True King sees when I summon him."

Tala had been relieved to see Jack, but the old warrior looked exhausted, as did his companion, the servant who had freed him after he'd been captured the first time... How dare this man think he could treat his allies in such a way... He'd been testing his shackles during their wait, but was most unimpressed to have gotten nowhere near where he had in the past...

"Well, if we're all ready, then I would like to begin." Arthur glanced around the gathered crowd of Royals and guards, allies and enemies... "Arouse her Highness would you?" he nodded to the guard holding Rosa, "I'm sure she would like to bear witness to this glorious meeting..."

The guard put Rosa down in a chair, shackling her waist and neck to the chair so she could not go anywhere, her hands still shackled behind her. The guard nodded and shoved her some to wake her. Rosa groaned slowly starting to open her eyes. Looking around slowly she gasped, trying to stand but found it impossible.

"Tala! Jack! What's.....what's going on?" She asked looking around confused and grunted trying to pull from the chair and to pull her hands free of the shackles on her wrists to no avail. Looking over she saw how Meta was restrained and frowned.

"Let Meta go! Let them all go! If you are wanting me then you let them go now!" She snapped sharply at Arthur, her yes narrowed onto him. "Don't you dare hurt them!" she snapped starting to charge a white light orb in her hand, the glow starting to form as she charged it up, trying to move her hands so she could throw it at the guard at her side while charging a second she was trying to angle to touch the chains on her wrists to get her hands free.

It was harder charging the orbs behind her back where she couldn't see. The guard grunted, nodding at her and caused her to yelp and lose hold of the orbs she was forming, causing them to fall from her hands and start to flash, both ready to explode. Looking over she quickly tried to recall her two light orbs, not wanting anyone in the room harmed, not aware of Arthur's ability to absorb others powers.

Arthur watched as she struggled, but just chuckled rather than panicked. Smirking, he drew what hadn't exploded from her charged orbs into his bracelet before turning back to the cloth covering the mirror,

"I wouldn't concern yourself about your...friends." Arthur lingered on the word for a moment, glancing about the gathered crowd, "But if you wish them to be unharmed, perhaps you would like to offer yourself willingly to the Dark Lord?" His grin widened as he awaited her reaction, then his eyes would dance across to Tala who tugged against his bindings,

"You told me once how much you wished for peace in this world, handing yourself over to this man won't accomplish anything...Regardless of what happens to us, you cannot let him win." Tala tried to reassure her they would be fine, but gave a growl as a strip of silk-like-material wrapped itself around his mouth and silenced him,

"It's not your turn yet Boy." Arthur frowned, "You will have your chance to speak when his True Highness arrives..." his fingertips brushed the fabric as he turned his attention back to Rosa, "So...what do you say?"

(our desenex machina lol >< wanting end on happy ending -sweat- )

Rosa watched Tala and the others worried before looking down to the floor not sure which was the right way to go: giving up to the Dark Lord or refusing and trying to escape to free herself and her friends.

Elsewhere in Ice Lands castle the Dark Lord himself was ready smirking as he felt confident he had won and his time was at hand at ultimate victory. He had used his dark power to set the Queen and the mage to side side away from where he was tired of them and bored of them as well.

As a result of his focus on getting a real prize had ignored advances from one of his followers who made her way through the castle calmly, entering the grand room that held the two in the pillars of ice. Narrowing her eyes Rosalin the scythe user who had first encountered Tala and the mage time ago with Princess Rosa watched them the Queen resting best she could.

Approaching the mage she drew her weapon. Flames began to heat it before quickly slicing it into the air, cutting through the ice pillar holding the old mage and sighed, speaking before she could be questioned. "Before you ask I only am doing this because I'm frustrated with Lord Sino. I keep trying to get his notice once again but he continues to ignore me and speak only of your lands precious Princess. Either you get him stopped or I will regret this. Oh and also the Princess is across the way some in another royal families home where their adviser is of higher ranking than I with Sino. Here is the information. Need me to open a gate for you to get to the castle or are you able to?" She offered, some frustration in her voice more towards the fact that Sino had pushed her aside for another who didn't want him and had put another before her in ways of trust.

"I am no weaker than I was when I was first incarcerated." Caran dusted himself off, regarding the female with some understandable mistrust, "I won't require any further assistance, I just hope you weren't too late." He made a gesture with his hands, then disappeared. It seemed a little selfish, leaving his saviour behind, but remembering past experiences, and with the knowledge that there were greater things at stake, he gave it little thought.

He would appear in the centre of the room, almost as though he had foreseen the location... Slamming the end of his staff into the floor he then sent a rush of air around the scene before pausing to survey his work...

Tala had braced himself, the blast was great, but not enough to knock him off balance, Arthur bowed his head against the gale, but narrowed his eyes, angered by the interruption...

"What is the meaning of this!?" he gripped Tala's shoulder tightly and the male gave a stifled growl at the pain...

"There is no meaning, only the need to set things right." Caran was already making plans and backup plans, "Rosa, do what you think is right, do not allow anyone to bully you into a decision."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 03, 2014 7:22 pm

Rosa gasped turning to look and hearing this looked towards Tala before closing her eyes starting to focus on the pendent in her pocket, remembering the feeling she had when she made a light orb form around her hands her pendent starting to glow more as she relaxed remembering the warm feeling she had when Tala had come rushing in and hugged her of his own choice.

"I....choose not to submit to your master.... Rosa said softly her voice soft but stronger than before as the light of lines started to show from the floor starting up a soft wind to blow her hair. The soft white light encased her binds freeing her from her sitting place. She didn't open her eyes not wishing to lose control again as she kept her mind on Tala trying to keep herself from thinking about anything that would break her hold.

"Arther....this is for hurting innocent people." She said softly, her body trembling as she had heard his voice and shifted standing and turning some as she sent light up from the floor and in moving her arms up then out she sent them towards Arther her aim to capture him while she had control, afraid to open her eyes part of her wanting to put fear into him as he had done to others.

Arthur appeared unafraid of her attack, he did not brace himself and instead pulled Tala infront of him - a grin upon his face as he assumed her attack would wrap itself around the boy - being of dark capabilities and leave him free to return the assault...

Caran, thinking quicker than expected after his long incarceration, jabbed his staff towards the pair, an invisible effect rendering Tala momentarily intangible - this allowed Rosa's attack to pass through him - unharmed - and envelope the man behind him.

Arthur was stunned, recoiling as the light wrapped itself around him, toppling the man backwards. He cursed as he clattered into the mirror through which the Dark Lord was to have made his speech - this in turn tilted, rocking dangerously.

The remaining guards rushed forward in an attempt to stop the mirror from shattering, but they weren't quick enough and it exploded into a million shards...

Free from Arthur's grip, Tala pulled the silken material from his mouth and darted towards those on his side. Once beside Caran, he would turn back and watch, waiting to see what would happen next.
