Even if she was angery at Laura, seeing her be throw around angered her more. Great way to treat you sister. She muttered, moving to Vitae's side. She hated standing behind people.

Laura looked at Red with golden eyes, "He's no brother of mine! Kill him while he's not expecting it. I promise I will not bother you with my experiment nor try to preform anything upon you. If there's one thing I hate most it's HIM!" She flushed her feather a bit and was getting irritated that she couldn't peck his eyes out at that very moment.
"With the damage she's caused in the past she deserves worse," Terrance lied. He just enjoyed kicking her around. His eyes flashed, he was thinking up a spell that could restrain the vampire and get the girl. Laura let out a hiss, it was either act then or forever hold their mouths shut with thread.

V's arm wipped out and grabbed Terrance's throat. "You won't make a noise. Damned witch. The Redferns and the Harmons have made a pact to keep the peace between us, but you even clear your throat, I'll rip it out." V had heard the boy's thoughts searching for words and though the malice in the boys mind fogged his thoughts from V, he knew where this was concerned, the girl was innocent. V threateningly tightened his grip.

Red eyes opened as Maria began to awake. She sat up while looking out of her small window. She always slept for a large amount of time for she had nothing else to do. But today she felt like she wanted to walk around the city, to find something. Something interesting so she wont be as bored. Maria sighed knowing she would probably find nothing again yet she stood up and began to leave her small apartment. It didn't take much time for her to be ready and she soon left, walking down the nearly empty streets.
((Are we in a city? If not I'll go edit this. biggrin ))

Terrance didn't know what to do, this wasn't anything like he planned. His eyes stretched to their corners to see Laura spread her wings and flap them. Damn fool lost his concentration. "Squeeze him until his head pops off!" Laura chirped with joy. Never had she been this close from being able to free herself and Mark from the rule of the eldest son. But then Terrance did something she didn't expect, he let out a suffocated laugh and the body withered into a straw doll. From somewhere his voice was smug as he spoke from nothingness. "You, my dear are in a vast amount of trouble," the voice translucent but understandable. "I'll get what I want, but for now I'll leave you to the mercy of these two."
The doll fell into a withered heap at the front door and Laura was speachless both inside and out.

I grinned. "Not old enough for alcohol," I laughed. "I'm 19." I said smiling up at him.

V smothered a snarl behind his lips. The 'demon' in him growing irrational, but V pulled the mental leash and kept tight hold on it. He smoothed his features. He looked at Laura and said tightly, "It seems you have enough problems without trying to add me to them."
Bane gave her his classic devil's grin. "Then you're old enough to make your own damned decisions. Key word... 'damned'."He took another gulp.

Red watched with a horror-filled curiousity, then she turned her blue eyes to Laura. I think, She paused a moment, getting her thoughts in order then finished with a simple, You need to explain. becuase not all of us can read your mind.

I laughed before talking another drink, then started humming Take A Drink, by Quietdrive as it popped into my head.
