There was the knock of a staff at the door to the cafe before a man entered. He wore white robes, and carried a long wooden staff. He was tired and a bit care worn, his hands were shaking a little bit as he took a seat.
I wonder if the sources are right, I wonder if he is really here?

He shut his eyes, simply enjoying the moment for all it was worth. It was hard to simply shrug off the night they had spent together, let alone how his feelings had developed while he fought to free her from Chaos...
And yet he knew he couldn't simply allow himself to take the easy way out and forget about a certain redhead.
I have to do this. I need to do this. Understand that... He kissed the top of her forehead, before letting her go.
"I'll be down in a minute."

While Lucind flopped herself down on the small sofa in the office corner, trying to relax, one of her employees went over to the white clad man who had just arrived.
It was a tall woman in her thirties, with thin, shiny brown hair which fixed in her nape with several clips. Her brown eyes always seemed to be half hidden by her lids and you wouldn't exactly expect her to start being all giggly like many of the younger employees. Lucind thought she fit quite well into the Feimurgan crew.
"Good evening sir," the woman greeted calmy, with a soft smile on her lips. "Can I bring you something?"

"Good. I'll be waiting." She took a step back, giving him the best smile she could muster. Then, she too left the room.
Once the door had closed behind her, she wanted to go back. Wanted to go to him and just let him hold her for a while longer, just pretend things were so simple.
But she understood.
A quiet place to sit down for a while was the best she could do, right now.

((Vahn, did you keep any of the junk Yaits gave you, I.E. pin, flowers, communicator?)) Lucind Varhetel While Lucind flopped herself down on the small sofa in the office corner, trying to relax, one of her employees went over to the white clad man who had just arrived. "Can I bring you something?" "Would you have an herbal tea, Claris Floris, to be precise," he asked, "It's a rather specific item, a green tea blend will do quite nicely if that is unavailable."There was a soft, persuasive quality to his voice, which had cultivated itself into something more effective since the death of Yaits. His voice and manner were not demanding, yet evinced a strong desire to please from those he spoke to, especially when he was so calm. There would be nothing hypnotic about it, simply an honest nature that made him instantly trustable to most people. Yes, he had hypnotic powers as well, but was constantly working to keep them in check lest someone susceptible to suggestion accidentally fall prey to them. he sensed a dark presence in this place, something evil was here, or had been here before and left residuals. He tapped his staff on the floor, purifying his immediate surroundings. "I'm searching for a man named Vahn, whom I only had the privilege of meeting but once. If he's not here, would it be posible to speak with Lucind?"

((sure..its in Vahn's room.. not on him or near him at the moment. The cellphone is on him though.))
"Let's go for a walk... I'll take you home...Get something to eat..."
He ran a hand through his hair as he mocked himself, being overly sarcastic about the lastest events. He was fed up with himself, and literally, as well as fed up with not finding what he was looking for.
Both Sunstrike and Victor remained at large and each one had its own level of priority.
"You'd think after all this time my life would get boring or something." He raided the closet in the room, throwing on a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt, grabbing his greaves as well.

Owle found herself facing row upon row of books...she had walked straight into Feimurgan's library section. Not realizing it was a public library, she figured Lucind wouldn't mind if she grabbed a book to read for a minute or two. Pulling one at random off the shelf, she collapsed in one of the comfy chairs scattered around the room. She began to read, hoping to get absorbed in the novel and forget for a few moments... But her mind kept straying back to Vahn, to the Other inside him. What were they going to do if and when it got out again? What was happening to Sun? Would Vahn try to stop her if she offered to go with him...? Focus, Owle. The book, Hocus Pocus No such luck! At least the World will end, an event anticipated with great joy by many. It will end very soon... No sense worrying about it now.Kurt Vonnegut Wrong again! Booby traps everywhere.

"We don't have this specific blend of tea, I'm afraid," the waitress answered, whose name was Perdith, by the way. "But here on the menu you can see that we've currently got five different kind of green teas. Can you possibly tell me of what aroma this 'Calris Floris' is? Then I can recommend you one of these." KillerSumo "I'm searching for a man named Vahn, whom I only had the privilege of meeting but once. If he's not here, would it be posible to speak with Lucind?" Perdith tilted her head. "Hmm, no, I don't think so - I'm sorry but I don't know a man with this name. But I'm sure Ms Varhetel can help you. A moment please, I'll go and get her." Bowing lightly, the woman walked over to the counter to pass on the man's order and also ask were Lucind was. A minute later, the Half-Siren friendly smiled at the preacher and, pulling back one of the free chairs, she asked if there was something she could do for him.

Lucind A minute later, the Half-Siren friendly smiled at the preacher and, pulling back one of the free chairs, she asked if there was something she could do for him. "You might not remember me," the Preacher said, hoping she wouldn't, "I was with Edward Yaits III the night he visited you at the Charitable Order Hospital in what is now West Fall City. I was searching for you in general, and Vahn in particular."He sipped his tea. She would notice that he had changed a great deal, he was more solemn and serious than ever. "Much has happend since we last met. I've learned a great deal since then," he said, staring into his steaming tea. "A great deal of unfortunate knowledge."

"Oh, of course I remember," Lucind answered and sat down, leaning back and crossing her legs. She also remembered she'd been just as reserved towards this man as she had been suspicious concerning Yaits' aims. Yet her voice was friendly as it would be while communicating with any other customer.
"And your voice tells me things aren't what they used to be. Anyway.." The woman put her hands in her lap, staring at the preacher.
"What does it have to do with me - or Vahn? Please tell me, why have you come here? Because it appears to be too...funny to be a coincidence...
Yes, Vahn is here."

He looked down at his tea, taking another sip.
"Young lady," he whispered, calming himself so his voice wouldn't crack, "I hope you can forgive for what I have done, what I may have to do, and for what I must say. I tracked Vahn down using the pin and communicator given to him by..... that demon."
There was absolute contempt in his voice, a deep hatred mixed with feelings of betrayal. his hands were shaking a little.
"I don't deserve your forgiveness, you have every right to hate me for what I was part of. Being ignorant is no excuse, I aided and abbeted a demon, and what he has done to you and Vahn and so many others is unforgivable. It is the complete and utter essence of evil itself!"
His voice had cresendoed to the point where he was yelling, when he realized he was getting loud and attracting attention to himself he quieted down, turning red, but his hands were still shaken. he put down his tea and laid his hands on the table, staring into her eyes.
"I'm so sorry, I never knew what was truley going on," he stared down into the cup, "If I had known, I would have never come out of hiding for... it."
He sighed, still dreading what he'd have to say, he'd start with the tip of the iceberg, "Have you ever heard of cloning?"

Looking a little bit out of character with the punk-esque clothes and farmer shirt, he stepped out of the room, boots clunking along the ground. Flame-yellow eyes stared across the hall, before he absently patted his backpocket for a cigarette pack that wasn't there.
"Tch..." Sighing he moved away and began descending the stairs, his right arm tightly wrapped and covered with gauze.

So at some point - either because she saw him walk out the door to the room, or because she heard the hatch to the stairwell that led down into Lucind's office open and shut - Owle realized that Vahn had left the room, and headed downstairs.
A notebook and pen materialized in her lap, and Owle jotted down the title, author, and the current page number of the book she'd been reading. Then she closed it up, and put it back onto the shelf where she'd found it; maybe in better times she could check a copy out of the Barton Town Public Library.
The notebook and pen vanished, and Owle walked over to the elevator, staring at it.
Sure, she knew in theory how these things worked...but that didn't mean she wanted to put her trust in a metal box. No, no, her own two feet would do just fine...
She remembered the staircase Lucind had gone down, and walked back into the bedroom. Vahn was already gone.
With some trouble, she found the staircase, and headed down...
...a little while after Vahn had arrived downstairs, Owle would emerge from Lucind's office, looking for him.

((I fear my map of Feimurgan isn't really self-explanatory...^^°° So, Owle walks down the spiral staircase into the office/kitchen? And Vahn walked down as well...either taking the stairs on the other side of the library or the same way as Owle... Comment please XD)) When Owle entered the office and the kitchen area right next to it one of the employees told her that Lucind was to find over in the cafe in case she was looking for her. * * * What the...Lucind couldn't believe her ears when the preacher went on. It wasn't so much Yaits' seemingly dubious character which was now revealed to her but rather the fact that this man here allegedly hadn't had the slightest idea about it. "I have to say I'm...quite confused.. I did hear about a few 'changes' your corporation went through - but I seem to have missed a lot. KillerSumo He sighed, still dreading what he'd have to say, he'd start with the tip of the iceberg, "Have you ever heard of cloning?""...yes, of course," Lucind nodded, foreboding unpleasant information.

((Yup, Owle goes down the spiral staircase, cause she doesn't know where the other staircase is.
No idea which way Vahn went. sweatdrop ))
Owle thanked the employee kindly, then, with an embarrassed look on her face, asked to be pointed in the right direction. Once she knew where she was going, she'd head over to the cafe...figuring that was where she'd find Vahn, as well.
