In the merchant's area of Latent you'll notice a small, lovely villa which has been turned into a comfortable, pleasant place which everyone likes to visit - no matter if only for having a snack or searching for a book. A short graveled path leads to the villa. Over the main entrance hangs a wooden sign, reading " Feimurgan" in skillful curved letters. At the beginning of the path stood a showcase which contained a poster: Quote: Feimurgan Book-Cafe, Restaurant & Library
Open Tue - So, 9.30am - 11pm Kitchen open till 10pm
Furthermore, this poster gives you a good idea of how the new book-cafe, that had been a well attended place of the Leviathan Stadium for several years, now looks like by presenting its ground plans and rough descriptions. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC note:
There're NPCs in Feimurgan, being employees for all sections of the store/library: they're free to be controlled by yourself unless you want to start something bad or evil. xd You also have to possibilty to let your character work at Feimurgan. PM me if you're interested. The menu card below doesn't contain every detail -> if you want to have a sandwhich with tuna, onions and capers, for example, you'll get it. You also get specialities of Latent, but please don't order something extroardinary nobody has ever heard of. wink There'll be special snacks/dishes or beverages announced on the menu from time to time. If your character owns some rare food/drink from other countries, he can contact Lucind and maybe sell something. Almost the same goes for books: you won't find any rare items in the library or in the book store. You can try to sell books. Feel free to include Feimurgan in your character's current plot. If it has something to do with violence, murder or gory things, please pm me before starting to rampage, i.e. ask for permission. Still, there must be a really good, justifiable reason for initiating anything violent.

They had done a good job of rebuilding the place- it was almost the way it was again, before all that ruckus happened. At least this place was one of the few he could relax at, and he was sad to hear it had gone with the rest of the destruction. But now, here it was again, and what a surprise it was that it had come along this quickly.
He sat down in one of the chairs in the first floor library, sighing to himself as he relaxed in the soft cushion. He didn't have to look around to notice that she was there. He made it a habit a long time ago to scan a room only once- just once- and never do it again.
Why not? Because he could navigate the room with his eyes closed from that point forward, not to mention find exactly who he was looking for while doing so.
In any case...
Lu-Lu. It's been a while, no? Perhaps I should come back another time when the place is open, but...

Looking out of one of the high windows she had heard him coming, noticed that those weren't the steps of one of the craftsmen or designers, yet the way the person walked signalized ease and calmness.
Again she was hiding in the semi-dark quietness of the library section after a - fortunately dreamless - nap: this morning the first cartons full of different books had arrived. Most of them donations from Latent's inhabitants and institutions. It would need some time, though, until all the shelves were filled.
When Evan adressed her Lucind faintly smiled and turned around. "Quite some time, indeed. - And you're welcome, though I'm surprised you could enter so easily. Maybe I should have a word with the guys downstairs." She blinked, then added. "But it's nice to have one of the stadium crew here as a kind of first guest. - Only four weeks ago," she tilted her head," and you still can't believe it's gone just like that..."

Yeah... at least this place is salvageable enough- though four weeks is fast for a reconstruction, at least in my business.
Then again, he hadn't told her what he did for a living. Never mind that, though. He smiled at her and casually sat up a bit straighter, though it didn't seem like he moved at all.
Anyways... I haven't seen you in forever- I just thought I'd drop in and say hello. I suppose I should state my business... I'm not just here to chat, after all.
His expression was still calm, sure... but there were other, more pressing matters at hand. Things were on the horizon- a horizon that was already bleak and uncertain.
I suppose you have heard about the reorganization of the GSF? It was a sorely needed one, by the way. Because of it, certain members have been given a long-overdue advance in rank... including me. redface
He didn't want the advance, but had to take on the responsibility. Having a leader resign was always tough- there were certain things that had to be done in order to keep the organization running. Of course, he was surprised that his name had come up... but he had been doing well so far.

Mentally exhausting... I can probably relate to that one.
He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat. That was definitely not a topic up for discussion at this point, and he stopped it before it could go any further. As he finished getting comfortable again, he continued his request.
In any event, seeing as the current trainees aren't quite ready yet, I took the liberty of contacting most of the Specialists that were still on the roster... your name happened to come up.
He looked her straight into those eyes with his own- which were a deep purple instead of blue these days- and began telling her the real problem.
Thing is, there's good and bad news. I'll start with the bad: Seeing as this is a complete overhaul, and the new ranking tiers, everyone is scheduled to earn their rankings through a test of sorts. Of course, seeing as no one else would take on the duty, I've set that up as well. Everyone had to start at Sergeant and move up through a series of war games- simulations mostly, nothing harmful.
He smiled at this point.
Okay, now for the good news. The trainees have to go through three of these excersizes to move up to the first rank, and then three live missions after. It's the only way of actually measuring their skills. But you're already a Specialist... you get to do one per rank, and one only. So then... are you joining us again?

Amber met purple. She didn't move, yet her yaw muscles were working. Finally her eyes dropped and a barely visible frown appeared on her forehead.
"I really want to. And I hopefully will soon. But..."
She sighed and ran a hand through her blue strands.
"It would be irresponsible concerning my...current state."
There just was no possibility to hide any longer. And Evan's visit seemed to be pure irony, a broad hint.
"It hasn't been proven yet, but my last soul dive might have caused what you can call a mental or spiritual leak. And I've already been postponing the appointment with the clanleader."
While telling him so, Lucind walked over and sat down on the armrest of another chair.
"So I should better first fix this...'problem'. But then I'd really like to rejoin the GSF and go through those exersizes."

Hn... a leak, you say?
He pondered for a moment, then nodded. He supposed he would have to wait... then again, he had a different idea in mind. One that would have to involve overstepping a few boundaries, but it would be well worth it, if sucessful.
Hmmm... I might be able to help. That is, if you want. Besides, I haven't been much of anywhere in a while. Even if there's no way I could help, I would like to meet your family.
As for why... he had his reasons. Information was a powerful tool these days, and he was a collector of such things. It was a rare opportunity in front of him... Of course, he would probably have to follow three rules- no weapons, no trouble, and no speaking unless spoken to.
So the next time you go... I'd love to come with you, just for a visit.
He didn't show it, but he was anxious to go... of course, he expected the awnser to be no, but things usually happened for a reason, and if the awnser was indeed yes, perhaps it was meant to be.

For a moment she straightened and her facial expression froze - an instinctive reaction originated from her maternal heritage. She fixed his eyes as if searching in there for his thoughts and reasons.
Finally her look softened, though you could still guess she was surprised of his request. "Okay...all right. I'll inform you then when I take a dragon to Magpie Valley."
She stood up again and glanced out of the window.
"And thank you for your offer but you can't help me with this, because it's related to Sirenic mental abilities and techniques. - But,"she suddenly turned around, looking interested,"I somehow never came to really know your field of specialization. You have psychic skills, too, it seems?"

...No. My specialization is mostly of swords and blades. But interesting things have been happening as of late. It would probably take the entire day to tell the full story, but know for now that I have the capability to aid you in this regard. I might have time to tell you while we're heading to Magpie Valley.
A bold claim, sure enough... but stranger things have happened. Of course, the two of them had not seen each other in so long, she may have forgotten what his eye color used to be... It certainly wasn't purple.
In any event, he would have to demonstrate his abilities sooner or later- hopefully before they left. But if that was to happen...
...Unless you want to hear that story now.

She really didn't notice his eye colour had changed since the last time they met. Yet his voice revealed faint signs of different emotions, even if he tried to speak calmly or with a neutral tone: her ears didn't miss all those unconscious alterations in frequency or stresses. She sensed nervousness and curiousity with regard to his wish to attend her - and also a certain uneasiness concerning the obvious recent developement of his abilities.
"Hmm... I won't be able to leave tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Even though every section here will have its own people, I have to make sure all employees work together trouble-free, as a team. Besides from that I hope to see other known faces from the stadium crew. So my suggestion is that during the next days, until I'm ready to take off, you come and visit me here and tell me your story bit by bit.^^"
