Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart's eyes shone with joy as she saw the kits come her way. Her purrs were loud yet gentle. She saw as the only she-kit came her way and snugged against her fur. Swallowkit's fur was as soft as ever, gentle enough to bring any kits to sleep. Siegekit was beautiful as well, he's going to grow up as handsome as any tom. Then there was the last kit, who was close to his mom than ever. She licked her kits and starred at the last kit, noticing a familiar look.] "Shadekit..." she whispered. [She looked up and smiled at all the cats who supported her, feeling that she is able to return to her role as deputy very soon. She gave Serpantfang a happy and proud smile, happy to see the she-cat here.] "Thank you Serpantfang!" she thanked, in a cheerful tone. [She looked up at Hauntednight with happy eyes.] "Aren't they beautiful?" she purred. _________________________________________________________

[Shadekit cuddles against his mother with such embrace, feeling more safe and secured around his mother's presence. He let out squeaks of joy as he faced his sister and brother. He looked up at his mother with the same green eyes as hers.] "Mama!" he squeaked.

The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight let out a sigh of relief.] All the kits came out safely. [He examined each kit: Siegekit looked like Blossomkit but with his orange eyes, Shadekit had his mother's eyes and his appearance, and Swallowkit looked more like Snowcherry, his sister. He gave his mate loving licks as he sat very close to her, their pelts brushing. He meowed in her ear.] "They are all beautiful and will grow up to be full warriors, Swallowkit looks like the smallest of the litter and has folded ears." ~=============================================~

M a p l e l e a f -- B r e e z e C l a n W a r r i o r The small calico she-cat crept along the moorland, the windswpet grasses whispering their songs in her keen ears. Her emerald eyes were locked on a small white hare, it's small powderpuff tail twitching. It was nibbling on a fresh blade of grass, seemingly if by magic. Most plants were already killed by frost! The hare blended in with the light coating of snow, but the calico BreezeClan warrior was locked on her target. She crept forward, paw after paw, her small paws not even crunching the snow. Her ears flattened on her head against the wind, she pounced. The small cat killed the hare instantly, it's snow white neck now stained crimson. The scent of the still warm rabbit wafted up into her nostrils, making her mouth water. She quickly buried the rabbit and continued to hunt.
Not long afterward, Mapleleaf found a falcon pecking at the ground. Her tri colored pelt stuck out against the snow on the ground, but she was swift and silent. Her wily body slid silently on the ground, light flakes of snow sticking to her belly fur. She watched the majestic bird with interest, and then hissed. She leapt forward, but the falcon didn't take off. It whirled on her and aimed it's beak at her eye. She squeaked in surprise, but it soon evolved into a growl. She raked her claws down it's face, and it thwacked her body onto the ground with it's talons. She quickly scrambled up and leapt right for the throat, and hit her target. Breathless and exhilirated, Mapleleaf grabbed the falcon and drug it back to the rabbit. She shrugged the falcon onto he rback, it's weight crushing onto her spine. She grabbed the rabbit and tried to hold it above the ground, but she was small.
She stumbled into camp, a funny sight indeed. A falcon straddled on her back, and a rabbit dangling out of her jaws. She half stumbled half sidestepped to the fresh kill pile and dropped her kills onto the pile. She dropped to the ground and began to wash her coat, but stopped mid-lick. Her small ears twitching, she caught the sounds of mewling. Her energy found again, she leapt up and bounded toward the nursery, wanting to see Pebbleheart's kits. She stopped at Birdkit and licked her head. "Hello, little one," Mapleleaf purred, her emerald eyes shining. She flicked the kit's cheek with her tail, then waited outside the nursery, wanting to leave Pebbleheart a few moments with her mate and the others inside.

[Pebbleheart smiled lovingly at her mate, as she purred loudly. She gave him a couple of gentle licks in return, feeling the warmth of his fur. She then felt her heart fill with happiness, as she heard his gentle words.] "Yes..they will. Swallowkit has beautiful ears and eyes.." Pebbleheart whispered. [She then finally experienced how its like to be a mother. She looked up at Hauntednight with loving green eyes.] "I hope I become a good mother.." she wished. _________________________________________________________

[Shadekit rolled backwards as his brother pushed him back.] "Oof! That hurt!" Shadekit whined. [With angry green eyes, he struggled to sit up as he waved his little paws to get up. Once he rolled himself up, he glared at Siegekit, giving a small yet squeaky hiss. Shadekit was obsessed with his mother, not wanting anyone to get in the way between them. Shadekit had a playful look in his eyes...and a look of revenge. With all his force, the little kit use his head and charged at his brother. He head butted his brother, causing his brother to move farther away from his mother. Shadekit chuckled with his soft tone and cuddled close to his mom, while suckling to fill his tiny tummy.]

I was given a second chance I'm not sure I deserved.
[Uh oh, here comes the waterworks ;n;]
[I looked up at the she-cat who had licked me, and when I finally found her, my green eyes went wide with shock.
Mapleleaf..
My mouth dropped, and I stared at her.
Mapleleaf. My precious daughter. I'm so sorry I left you.
I flattened my ears, but then realized how odd this probably looked, and perked them back up, and bounced around her]
"Hi Mapleleaf! You look pretty today!"
[While my tone was cheerful, and my eyes were bright, for some reason, the voice in my head was sobbing]
[D'aw ;n; I chose for Birdkit to remember Mapleleaf, just for the sake of sadness. This is as advanced as she gets for a while]

(Dicefoot was about to help, but soon everything unfolded. She watched with her emerald eyes as the kits slowly came out into the world and couldn't surpress a rumbling purr.)
"They're beautiful, Pebbleheart."
(Dicefoot blinked, her gaze sweeping over the little bundles of fur.)
The most beautiful things I've ever seen..
(Dicefoot sat, and heard Pebbleheart mention something about wanting to be a good mother. She pulled her lips back in a smile.)
"Pebbleheart, trust me. These kits will be gifted to have you as their mother. You have nothing to worry over."
(Dicefoot looked out of the nursery at her sister's round belly, soon to be expecting.)
I should try and get Spadestripe in the nursery soon, too. We don't want another cat being dragged in here right while kitting.
(Dicefoot blinked, looking at her sister again.)
Hey wait a second...where did she get those nasty wounds? It looks like....was someone trying to KILL her?
(Dicefoot got to her paws, taking one last look on the kits as they suckled happily.)
I wonder one day If I'll have kits...maybe I'll find a nice tom, settle down and start a family.
{{HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Like any tom in the clan would love Dicefoot.

{{WEEEELL Leo~! I'll list some things that have happened lately.
-Kits are coming up by the dozens.
-Birdkit was born as an incarnation of Birdsong and is doing her little "wooooo kitten ghooooost" thing.
-Spadestripe went to the border because she caught a weird scent, was attacked, then came back telling Galestar about the "possessed" seaclan cat, Echosong, nearly killing her.
-Dicefoot came back and was going to take away Dovekit's body, but was attacked and told her story of MAXIMUM WOE.
-Ravenpaw was brought into camp as Dovekit's sister, and it scared to death of Dicefoot. meh, I don't blame her.
-Dicefoot lost all her memory of being evil, and only remembers herself as a good cat. She currently is allowed to stay in breezeclan, and is wondering what happened to Cometstream.
-Pepperpaw and Spadestripe are having their first fight.
-MORE KITS WERE BORN <3
-Pebbleheart became deputy
-Dicefoot and Hauntednight took down a turkey and brought it back to camp.
-Some cats feel bad for Dicefoot, others still don't trust her.
I think that's mainly it.}}

She knew that Dicefoot went against her clan, but maybe she must give the she-cat one last chance...however keep a close eye on her. She smile at Dicefoot with such happiness.] "You really think so..?" Pebbleheart asked, a bit shocked by her words. [She purred loudly as she nodded.] "Thank you Dicefoot...maybe one day you'll have a precious kit of your own." Pebbleheart said, wondering if the she-cat wanted a kit of her own. _________________________________________________________

[Serpentfang's sharp eyes shot a discrete glance over to Dicefoot as she entered the nursery. She was suspicious. Moments ago she could have sworn she was out to get Ravenpaw, and now... now she seems like an entirely different cat! She couldnt help but wonder if it was all an act. She had trusted Dicefoot before, like she would a sister. She never saw what happened that night coming. Her heart cried out for her to forgive. Dicefoot was one of the first cats she met in Breezeclan, she was like kin, a part of her clan.] Cats can change there ways.... right? [More then anything she wanted to trust her again, let her back in and have everything be like it was before, but when she saw that look on her face when she tried to attack her precious apprentice... She turned away. Feeling guilt for having a longing distrust in her heart, something she never felt before.] What is wrong with Serpentfang? [She padded off to be alone in the shadows. She saw this feeling as her own fault.]
((Dont worry Comet, she will come around. 3nodding She is just protective over Ravenpaw.))

 "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluemoon looked at the fresh kill pile, seeing it was low she decided on hunting "Serpentfang," she said not noticing her friend's retreat to the shadows until just now. Bluemoon padded over to Serpentfang and smiled "I'm going hunting, do you want to come along, maybe even with Ravenpaw" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[Serpentfang looked up and smiled at her kind freind.] "Hunting, that sounds nice. The pile is getting low and Ravenpaw has yet to get her first hunting lesson too. Serpentfang will teach her that special move she knows wit the bird and the pebble!" [Slowly she emerged from the darkness and padded over to her apprentice.] "Ravenpaw, would you like to come with Bluemoon and Serpentfang for your first hunting lesson? Leafbare is coming soon and we need to collect more prey."

((Sorry 'bout that. I'm still a bit confused as to what's going on, but Asian filled me in a bit. smile ))
Frostclaw, having watched the camp silently, padded over to the nursery, where Pebbleheart was with her newborn kits. Though she didn't particularly like kits, Frostclaw couldn't hold back a purr. They would one day be fine warriors within the clan. "Congratulations, Pebbleheart, Hauntednight." she mewed.

PepperpawDespite being pulled away by Spadestripe, Pepperpaw didn't let his eyes leave Dicefoot. "She's tricked us once, she can do it again." he hissed through his teeth. Spadestripe's last comment caused Pepperpaw to hesitate and turn his head, locking eyes with his mate. "Saved your life? She also tried to kill you! Don't trust her." he said, adding in a sliver of hope, "Least, not until we know her intentions, if she had any that is..." Pepperpaw has a suspicion that Spadestep wouldn't like his words so he rubbed her head against hers, "Be careful...for me?" We are and always will be... Breezeclan...
