Wesley grins a little to himself, taking his eyes away from Saewin as he downs the last of his vodka. Indeed, some of the junior officers resent Caine for being immediately granted the position he now holds and replacing their former mentor. He was more than equipped for the job. He just needed some fine tuning and a little work. Though strong, Caine was no soldier. Cooler did a lousy job. Sadly, Icargoil had the talent but not the loyalty. The Emperor deals with all traitors in the same way; there is no formal execution, but rather a direct and immediate termination from Wesley himself. There is no room for liars and dishonesty.

Setting his glass down and sliding it aside, Tali pulls over the bottle with one hand, reaching into his coat with the other. Pulling out his flask, he removes the top with a twist of his thumb and starts refilling it from the bottle. The thought very well may have never occurred to him that he drinks too much. Keeping his eye on the task at hand, he remarks very matter-of-factly toward the General's immediate promotion to High Commander.
"I won't regret my decision until you give me good reason to, Mr. Saewin."
