Raising a sleek eyebrow at the drink that was set in front of her, she lifted one hand from her lap, almost tentative to take a sip from it. However, she would merely have to trust that he knew how to mix a drink properly. And so, as slender fingers made their way around the crystal glass, she was already lifting it up to her plump lips and tilting it back. A moment later, her tongue was darting out to lick the remnants from said lips as the glass had been returned to its spot on the bar top. She paused for a moment before tilting her head in his direction.
"Not bad. There may be some use out of you yet."
She grinned at him slyly, her teeth visible and gleaming dangerously at him with the sight of the sharp incisors right there. However, they soon disappeared as she turned her head away and dropped the smile, a rather relaxed look set on her features as she made the movement to take another sip. He had made it quite well.
With her tail taking up its spot to wrap around her waist coyly, her attention was once more fixated on the male. Even though she really didn't give a damn about him now that she had her drink, her feline curiousity was getting the better of her and she wanted to know more about him. Sometimes she hated that she mewled instead of barked. Inu-youkai and kitsune never seemed to have such an insatiable curiousity; they'd let it go by now.
"So who the hell are you anyways?"
Yes, she was curious but it didn't make her any friendlier.

::Andamuel grins with his eyes toward the floor as he takes a left and moves back toward the new girl with the nice a** and no manners. She obviously must have found something about him worth asking about, if she acts so harshly and then asks for his name.::

::Tossing a leg over the seat directly to her left, he drops down into it, letting his coattails drape over the back. He leans forward with his elbows at the counter edge, hazel eyes finding the dark orbs of the feline lady as he finishes his lingering answer.::
...am Twist.
::The fanged grin fades into a closed-lipped smile as the vampire turns his face away and relieves his bottle of its cap, taking a pull of the contents. Not bad, whatever it might be. Then again, it'd go more smoothly with fresh blood. Brushing his tongue quickly across his lips in a circular sweep, he lets the bottle meet the bartop again before leaning his head toward her and returning qith a query of his own.::
Who the hell might you be?

A smidgen of a smile appeared at her lips before she pushed it away, allowing a more monotonous appearance to her features be visible. With the glass to her mouth again, she took another drink of the White Russian, purring into the crystal as before. The glass was set down, her eyes were turned upon his form, and she was eliciting something akin to a mewl before speaking.
"I am Xiao. I suppose it should be a pleasure to meet you? You need to work harder to actually make it a pleasure though, don't you?"
Her words were as cold as ice and sharper than her claws, but she figured it wouldn't faze him. Hell, he was still talking to her even with the snippish undertones she had offered mere minutes prior. With one hand lifting up to her silken tresses, she pushed the offending locks out of her face and over her bare shoulder, feeling her hair tickle her skin gently before falling into place.
"Where are you from? Do you come from this place or are you an outsider as I am?"
This one held almost a conversational tone to it, although it retained some of the bite that she was quickly becoming famous with. It was obvious that she wasn't a girl that would take much s**t from anyone. Draining the contents of her glass without any hesitation, she pushed it away from her but not too far. In the next instant, she had plucked a lone ice cube from it and placed it between her lips, sucking gently as she locked gazes with the man next to her.

::As Xiao predicted, her snide remarks don't seem to offend the vampire much, who takes them with a chuckling shake of his head and another sip of his drink. He can't tell if she's naturally that rude or if she's trying too hard to act this way. Lots of people he's run into have had tendencies to overact in order to intimidate their peers or simply get people to leave them alone. He finds that the truly threatening people do so without knowing it.::
Can't remember where I was born, but I grew up in L'isiana.
::Andamuel's expression is sincere for a moment as he answers the question, raising his bottle of liquor again to his black lips. The look on his face is quickly changed as his mouth twists a little, accompanied by a shrug in a casual resignation toward his memory loss. Whether he has forgotten his mortal life or suffered amnesia is unknown, but he knows little of his past.::
I caught wind o'this place some months back, followed some tracks I found, and...here I am.
::The smile on Twist's face returns during the time it takes him to finish and when the bottle hits his lips again as he downs a little more. Swallowing the liquor hard, he again mirrors Xiao's question, figuring that he may as well pick up what he can as long as she's tolerating him.::
