TJ the Dragon Prince Tsu stood back, silently watching what was going on. There was something wrong with Tessa. She wasn't sick or tired. The look in her eyes was fear. There was no doubt about it. But why was she worried all of a sudden? "That's right, Haru. She'll be out in no time. In the meantime, we should probably let her get some rest." Tsu tilted his head toward the door, letting Haru know it was about time to go. Hikari placed a hand against the bars of the cell, as if she was trying to reach Tessa. "I'm coming back, I think, to check on you to make sure you're all right. I'm going to talk to Unohana-taicho, and get permission from Soi Fon-taicho..." She knew it wasn't going to be easy, but if she could get her own captain to back her up, then likely her request could be granted. "Please, excuse me for the moment as well. If I'm to return, I have much to do." She bowed to her former instructor. "Please try to rest easy until then, Sensei." She walked over to where Tsu and Haru were, pausing a moment and turning to face the others in the room. "Yuu-san, Tsurabisu-san, Touben-san, I believe I'll be seeing you all tomorrow, then?"

Master Cliff Fate Damian had closed his eyes resigned to his fate as he figured the Death Knight certainly wouldn't save him for things he had done in the past which Ayame had undoubtedly talked about. Then suddenly he felt a hand grasp his arm and opened his eyes to stare at Drake in slight surprise before the other man collapsed as well. 's**t.' Being pushed forward as a surprised and Damian stumbled forward turning at the last second to see what had pushed him forward. Staring in shock as Ayame fell forward into the portal he used the last bit of strength that was keeping him conscious to move in front of her. As they fell out of the portal Damian took the force from both his fall and Ayame's leaving her to land softly and unharmed from the fall. Turning to look at where Drake was undoubtedly laying Damian opened his mouth as his world began to darken. "You should have just got her to safety..." That was as close to a thank you as Drake would likely receive and afterwards Damian submitted to the darkness and passed out in the middle of the field they had arrived in. He truly looked broken giving truth to Aizen's statement about him being a 'broken toy'.
Aizen watched in amusement as his prey escaped into the portal giving Gin a knowing look. "They were quite foolish to think they could kill a god Gin. Human and Hollow teaming up together. Both races are beneath me yet they seem to think that together they are worthy of being considered my opponents. They seem to forget that I was more powerful than all the previous Espada combined and have only grown in strength since. My abilities are limitless yet they still doubt my godhood. They will learn the truth very soon. We will need more puppets to further my plans I trust you can handle that?" The last part of the speech was directed at the unknown Shinigami with the purple Zanpakuto who simply nodded in response following the nod with a simple statement. "Yes Aizen-sama." The dark skinned Shinigami had simply sheathed his blade when the fight was over remaining silent for the time being. "I am planning on testing that out soon. Sooner than they likely expect."
She felt herself land somehow, and Ayame struggled to open her eyes, fighting the darkness. "...alive...?" She managed to mutter. Her eyelids felt like they weighed a ton, but she opened them nonetheless. She caught sight of Damian and Drake, and thought she'd heard Damian mention something about her but in her dazed state she couldn't quite understand it. "...what...why...?" And then Ayame couldn't fight it with all the blood she'd lost and power she'd used. She fell unconscious once again, and likely falling or landing wouldn't be able to rouse her for quite some time.

The Death Knight looked around and noticed the two Espada on the ground, wounded severely. Drake cursed himself for momentarily forgetting about them. "Ayame! Hey, wake up. s**t... That's a lot of blood... Damian, you awake?" After not getting an answer from either, Drake considered his options. He didn't have enough strength left to cast a healing spell and the two of them were in no condition to help themselves. There was only one thing he could do. "This is gonna be tricky..." The Death Knight cast his Leech spell the two Espada, draining what little energy he could from the two without killing them himself. He could feel their energy flow into him, like a heavy weight had been lifted from him. As soon as he had enough, Drake cast his Vitalize spell. A greenish gold aura began to swirl around them, flowing into the two Espada. It wasn't a powerful spell, but at least it would stop the bleeding and speed up recovery. They should be good in a few hours; back to normal in a few days.

Now, she just needed to rest and recouperate.

Kas stepped quickly through the cool air trying to find what was left of the spirit pressure "Darn it all." She said stopping and kneeling down and touching her hand to the ground "It seemed so strong when i was with Yuki." Kas thought lifting her hand and looking up "There are so many theorys that could explain this.that i don't know where to start" Kas thought as she tryed harder to find something.. anything left from the battle. "There!" Kas thought picking out a small thread of pressure.Kas quickly followed it and soon came upon some signs of a battle. Kas stopped and went up to a building corner tracing her hand over a wound in the wall. "It must have been near here." Kas thought looking up.

Before leaving, Tsu turned to Hikari. "Hey, if you're free later, we'll be at the training ground behind thirteen s barracks. Stop in if ya get the chance." With that, Tsu left, expecting Haru to follow along behind.

With that, Tsu left, expecting Haru to follow along behind. His childhood friend nodded. "I have a lot of work to finish up on, but I will do my best to finish it and meet you there," she called after Tsu as they left. She then followed them out and a ways down the hall before she turned down the opposite way, heading back to her own division. Once Hikari opened the 4th Division doors and made it back into the office, she was rather surprised to see the 10th captain sitting in the chair. "H-Hitsugaya-sama?" "Misuzu, you look better than you did before," he commented."O-oh, um... thank you..." She murmured, trying to find any other objects to stare at, rather than having to focus her gaze on the silver-haired captain. The tension was so thick that it felt as though they could cut through it with one of their zanpakuto. Unohana cleared her throat. "So, I recieved word from 12th Division. It was a success and you can use your shikai again?""Huh? Oh, oh, yes!" Hikari said, nodding vehemently. "Kurotsuchi-taicho managed to help, with Tsu-ku... I mean, Maruchinu-san there." Hitsugaya raised an eyebrow at Hikari's reference to her childhood friend. Titles? Since when? He thought but stopped himself. It's none of my concern. It's likely a problem they're having. They can solve it on their own. "It's good to hear that."Hikari smiled at the captain. "Were you both worried or something?" "To some extent, yes," Unohana spoke softly. "But it seems that you'll be all right for the time being now.""Oh, I need to talk with you about a few things afterward, Taicho," the blonde shinigami said. "Then I'll be leaving." Hitsugaya turned around and started to leave. He paused for a moment. "Misuzu.""Yes...?" "I...apologize.""No, Hitsugaya-sa... I mean Taicho, you don't need to. Thank you for your concern for my welfare. I'm only sorry for causing you trouble." Hitsugaya seemed to acknowledge what she said in silence, but didn't respond to it. Instead: "Sleep well," were his last words before he left the office and the division."Good night..." Hikari whispered, watching him exit. "So, Misuzu-fukutaicho, what is it?" Unohana asked."Oh... right." Hikari turned to face her captain. "A few things actually. First, Maruchinu-san has asked that I accompany him tomorrow." "Tomorrow?" The captain asked in amusement. Obviously she knew what Hikari was talking about, but liked teasing her lieutenant by playing dumb when it came to things concerning Hikari's childhood friend.Sighing, she continued. "Yes, you know, the Academy's training mission. He asked for my help in supervision." "Oh, but surely he would want more experienced fighters out there helping with the students. Why would a squad 11 ask a squad 4 person, anyway?"Hikari blushed. "It..." She hung her head. "It's not like that... I'm there to supervise and heal in case anyone gets hurt," she said deflatedly. "Of course it isn't like that," Unohana responded. "Yes, you have my permission to go." Seeing Hikari upset over Tsurabisu, she decided to lay off this time. "Continue.""I also need advice... what can I do to help Ukitake-taicho?" Hikari mumbled. "I've tried everything, and he seems to continue to get sicker." "You're doing all one can about that, Hikari-fukutaicho," her captain answered. "Ukitake-taicho has been around a long time, and he's been ill far longer than you have even been here. It isn't something that we can even hope to cure. All we can do is make him as comfortable as possible until the inevitable. You're doing just fine with him. I know he agrees with me.""But... I can't accept..." "You're going to have to accept it. That's all the advice I have to give to you about Ukitake-taicho. Did you need anything else?""Yes, I need your permission and help to appeal to Soi Fon-taicho." Her face hardened. "What do you need and why?" She questioned."The Academy instructor that was imprisoned there... I went to see her tonight... and she doesn't seem well. I would like to examine her a little more to make certain that she hasn't fallen ill." "I see... yes. You have my permission to examine her if necessary. However, it is strictly for an examination. Nothing more, and once it is over you are to leave. If the 2nd Division needs, I will discuss this with Soi Fon-taicho myself. Is that understood, Misuzu-fukutaicho?"Hikari nodded obediently. "Yes, and thank you very much, Unohana-taicho... She seemed tired for the moment, so I was going to go and check on Ukitake-taicho first after my paperwork, and then see her." Hikari said nothing more and sat down at the desk to begin filling out her paperwork. "Yes, that will give me a chance to send a message over to 2nd Division." She summoned a Hell Butterfly with a message over to them.
"Attention 2nd Squad: The lieutenant of my squad has expressed some health concerns for one of your prisoners to me and has requested to be able to do a quick examination of the prisoner. She will be by shortly. Thank you for your time. 4th Squad Captain, Unohana Retsu"

"Thank you all for coming to visit me, but I am getting rather tired. I promise that when I get out of here, I'll tell you all everything that happened." Saotome smiled, trying to show that she was ok, even if her hands wouldn't stop shaking. "Yeah, sure. C'mon Haru. We've got work to do." It was obvious that Tessa wanted them gone and that worried him. There was something wrong and she was trying to hide it from them. Tsu would come back later to see if he could find anything out. Before leaving, Tsu turned to Hikari. "Hey, if you're free later, we'll be at the training ground behind thirteen s barracks. Stop in if ya get the chance." With that, Tsu left, expecting Haru to follow along behind. Sighing loudly he said. "Fine." He then hung his head and followed. He doesn't want to know my name. I see how it is Touben. If your being like then, I will do this. His zanpakuto was vibrating harder then it had before. That is weird, I wonder why is it doing that. "Hey, have your zanpakuto ever did anything weird before you knew the name of it?" How do you like that, and I won't stop until you get serious about this."Define weird. And please don't tell me I need to sign you up for a grammar class at the Academy as well..." Tsu turned to look at what Yuu accurately described as his shadow. "As for my Zanpakuto, she did a few things that I hadn't been expecting." The fourth seat slowed his pace, allowing Haru to walk beside him. "Nope." he said with the thought of having to go to another class. "Well the thing is that it's vibrating hard enough that it is making feel weird, and I don't know what I did to it. I think it's trying to tell me something." He said as he looked up for no apparent reason. I must ask it when I find out what the name of my zanpakuto is? Took you long enough, isn't it right? ... You never speak, weirdo. hmm Fine be that way, I get to have more fun with him. It's doing it again.

"If it's bothering you that much," Tsu reached over and pulled Haru's zanpakuto from his obi and slid it into his own. "There. Now it can't bother you." Tsu was expecting to hear haru's protests but just didn't care. They were nearing the training grounds and Haru could have it back then. "Hmm..." Out of the corner of his eye, Tsu spotted Datto. Remembering that he had promised to punish the student, Tsu decided to add him to the training session. The Substitute Instructor walked up to the student "You ready for your punishment?"

The nerve of this guy. he thought as Tsu took his zanpakuto. Well at least I don't have to worry about it for now. He then saw Datto with his head hung due to the punishment that he was going to get.

Since you've already released your Zanpakuto, you're gonna help him do the same." Tsu gestured to Haru. "Now, the two of you keep up. We're almost there." Once again, Tsu headed off toward the training grounds. Out of curiosity, Tsu drew Haru's Zanpakuto. A quick glance at the blade told him a lot about the way Haru took care of it. "Haru, when we're done today, you're going to clean this blade up. I want it sharpened and polished. Is that clear?" The fourth seat sheathed the blade, not bothering to even glance at Haru.
