Economy has recently become an issue with me...
As I am currently between jobs, my financing capabilities are taking a bit of a hit...

I vote for next year. Between more then half of the people finding out they cannot go, Greenie being between jobs, and it would just be much easier on Rommie's life if it was next year.

Also, turns out that I'll be able to spend some time with some relatives that are normally in Europe during the summer, but due to unusual circumstances, are here in the States this summer.

Looks like Da-chan won't be making it, either.

If we're still planning on it, I may end up narfing a day or two off the beginning of the event due to logistics.

I'm flexible. Incidentally, I'll likely be flying into town the morning of the 26th. Fuzzy, if you're willing to play chauffeur, let me know what time you're looking to leave for Monterey.

It appears it depends on what happens.

I really do not want to push it back a year, if it can happen this year as well. I already set aside money and requested time off. Not only that, but I have a friend who did the same. I can always take a trip somewhere else, but I purposefully delayed other trips so I could get this done. However, this is not my decision. I'll keep checking in, to see what happens.
