Same here. I put on my friends glasses and then mine and was like "Whoa! I have the same prescription as you, Randi! *pause* That means I need new glasses."

My uncle is an optometrist, so I just kind of asked my parents if I could check my eyes because the boards in the classrooms were always blurry and felt blind...

It was definitely useful. especially when we needed to get my eye looked at when I scratched it up. He's not technically my uncle, but it's easier to call him that...he's actually my dad's cousin, so I think that makes him my...2nd cousin? Like I'm his 2nd cousin? No? I don't actually understand how those things work...okay, he's my uncle. So there. lol.
