Crowfoot Krouw smiled bravely to Saika, and nodded to Evening. "Please do.. I forget.." She sighed, happy that someone knew more. It was scary talking to the chief..  She nodded her head to the girl, one of her long dark braids fell over her shoulder and she couldn't help but quake a bit in fear for speaking to someone who did not know her from birth. She tipped half of her body to Chief Tawadi and waved her hand in a half circle slowing in greeting and blessing that was once common in her tribe. "May the Light bless you and bring better fortune to your tribe. I am known as Evening Night to the Lakota tribe outside of this land. Many moons ago, the tribe was attacked in a manner very similar to what surrounds us now. The stench of coyote, teeth marks, paw prints is all familiar to me.
There is a legend that speaks of a creature that can appear like an animal. A coyote. But this creature is actually human. He was once a great person, but soon used his powers for evil and his heart was changed. When the darkness consumed him, he too was changed into a coyote. He is able to spread his wickedness far and wide. Few have ever survived an attack by him and most tribes are scattered to the four winds because this man brings great evil upon the lands. A Skinwalker, as the girl near me said. Do you remember the legend now, Chief?"

Nagual shook her mane, just as the sent of the pelted man wafted over to her. "He's here....! We cannot leave now..." she seemed to growl and tentatively walked forward to see what was going on. Another crowd was forming, and the mare tried to get to it to see what was going on. And she wanted to see what it was he had thrown down.

Tehya eyed the hair, snorting. Ridiculous. This was just ridiculous. Could she just step on the old coot and get it over with?

Oyohusa suddenly felt rocks being thrown at him again by some angry villagers. 'Be gone you demon!" they screamed at him. The love he once felt by these people was gone.
Their hearts had turned darker from the pain they bore. The evil must leave in order for them to be happy again. A part of Oyohusa felt sorry about what he had done but the dark part quickly washed over him to bring a smile accross his lips.
Chief Tawadi's heart sank when he saw so many frowns in his village. All the happiness was gone from the looks of it.
"My people after we find out the intruders then we will rebuild the village. There has to be some way to defeat these demons!" he yelled out.

Whether Yei liked it or not, if Nagual desired to stay then she would have no other option than to release a sigh and deal with it. Still tense and uncertain in relation to the foul manner in which her kinda were now treated, she continued to eye each of the villagers suspiciously and had already decided that if they came near her then she would kick a lot harder next time.
"Fine, where -" She froze abruptly as she saw the tendril of hair upon the ground and gave a whicker to Nagual, "Perhaps if we get the scent from it we'll know who it is?" She enquired uncertainly, although she knew that it would be problematic if they'd never met the soquili before.

Nagual looked around, now they were throwing rocks at the two-legger... served him right! The mare thought it was about time that he got what he deserved.
The crowd moved as the pelted one did... and they left the tendril on the ground. Nagual paused in her persuit and went to sniff it. But, she found some problems. The hair had been trampled, and the smells of the pelted man, dirt, and villagers, thwarted her greatest attempts.
"*choo!*" She sneezed and immediately backed away, wanting to avoid any more sneezing. Rubbing her nose on her shoulder, Nagual sighed, "I cannot get a good sniff.... and I don't want to try. I am tired of sneezing so much!"

"Allow me to try..." Yei murmured as she slipped forward and lowered her head briefly to try and catch the scent of the hair but unfortunately she wa incapable of discerning the scents due to the rampling as well - why was it that humans were so incredibly blind towards obvious clues and so incredibly inconsiderate when soquili tried to help?
"Its no good...I can't make out the scent, it's mingled with coyote, blood and goodness knows what else." She released a sigh and shook her head in a disgruntled fashion, it seemed that no matter how hard they tried they couldn't solve this mystery on their own, the humans had to open their eyes first.
"Perhaps we should leave, maybe if we stay on the outskirts of the village tonight then we'll see something, maybe recognise someone."
