Marcus paces back and fourth. "You...didn't think I was looking?! Why would I just give up on something like that Lynn!?" He continues his pacing, then he looks at Rachel, then to Lynn. "You know what? I still haven't been told what the hell is going on. I think this is going to be the 12th time I asked. What the hell is going on!?" He wasn't yelling, but his tone almost suggested that he wanted to.

He stopped pacing, and looked suddenly looks at Christy, as if just noticing that she was there. "If this is as bad as you say, Rachel, I probably shouldn't have these." He reaches into his suit, and pulls out is Dual .45's, spins them around while dropping the magazines and emptying the chambers. He hands them to Christy. "I don't want to be caught with these and shot, because I'm pretty sure that's what would happen."

Pink Tu Tu Of Death
Christy looked at the gun, startled, and let it drop from her hands. She really didn't like guns, thinking of Theonin. She shivered and picked it back up. She walked over to the trash can and throw the gun into it.
"I sure as hell don't want it." she demanded, "Why the hell did you give it to me?!"
She didn't care for an answer, she just wanted to go home, to Monty and Joyce and Rhys, where it was safe.
"Will someone walk me home?" she asked.

Marcus watched as Christy threw his guns away. "Hey! I'm not gonna just let them get thrown away!" He walks over to the trash, and pulls them out, putting all of the bullets back, but not loading a bullet into the chamber. "So not cool, I'd rather have them and have a chance of getting shot then watch them go like that." He places the guns back under his suit.

Rachels phone rang and she nearly went flying to answer it. "Hello?" She demanded.

"Go pick him up." Nandys voice said then the phone was hung up.

Putting the phone in her pocket, Rachel walked out the door and headed for her car once she was out of the building. "About time!" She muttered to herself as she drove to the police station. Once there she had parked outfront and headed inside. After talking to the desk clerk she stood in a waiting area to wait for Rhys to come out.

Everything was dark. Calista slowly opened her eyes, wincing at the headache that pounded inside her skull. Glancing around the dimly lit room as her eyes adjusted to the light, she sat up holding her left arm tightly. Appearently the people who decided to kidnapped her weren't aware of of the bullet wound in her shoulder.

Swallowing hard, she struggled to clear the sickingly sweet taste in her mouth left over from the drug that was used to knock her out. The room told her nothing. It was bare but for the bed she was sitting on. A single door graced the far wall of her small prison. Rubbing her temples in an attempt to stem the pain of the drug headache, she went over the nights events in her head.

Between getting shot, Marcus showing up, and being kidnapped, it didn't seem like Calista would be able to rest soundly for the next few weeks. Hell, she didn't even know who it was behind her kidnapping. The last straw that was holding her anger and rage inside snapped as she reached to her side to find her shoulder bag gone.

"Damn it!" The words hissed out from between her clenched teeth as she slammed her hand down on the lumpy pillow that graced the bed. It did nothing to calm her. Just as she was debating weither or not to take her anger out on the door that sealed her in this small, dank room, the door opened.

Pale golden light streamed in, causing her to wince again as it shone in her eyes. When her eyes landed on the person standing in the door way, however, she bit down her angry words and struggled to keep her gace blank.

Edward smiled brightly at Calista. If he noticed the glare that she was shooting in his direction, he didn't show it. Walking forward, he offered his hand to help her up. The smile never leaving his face.
"Need some help getting up?"

Brushing his hand away, she stood herself. Calista was careful not to let her expression give away what she was thinking. She knew him. He was one of the few people she met in high school that she acually spoke to now and then. Always smiling, never upset or bothered by anything our anyone, and always being Mr. Nice Guy. Never the type of person who would even think of doing another person harm. Not the type of person you would expect to participate in a kidnapping.

Following him as he headed for the door, her mind went back to the fax she sent to Rachel before she was jumped. Praying to herself that Rachel recieved it, she sighed inwardly. Things just kept getting worse.

Edward just smiled and motioned for her to follow him.
"Right this way."

Zizaa looked up from her laptop computer when she heard voices coming her way. A humorless smile flitted across her face when she thought about the person they'd kidnapped last night. My, was Calista hard to locate. She was definitly good at covering her tracks-it had taken Zizaa weeks to finally find her.

She put her head down and focused on the computer screen, continuing her work on the current assignment. Already missing persons reports were popping up and she had to work quickly in erasing them.
Finally Edward appeared in the doorway leading his captive with that phoney smile still plastering his face. Zizaa didn't even bother looking up while they passed. if she was serious at anything, it was her work.
She took a quick sip from her water bottle and continued typing and uploading files from the database. She could faintly hear Edward speaking to Calista in the adjoining room. Maybe he could convince her to join 3crosses...well, they'd just have to wait and see.

Theonin stood, taking Christy's hand in his own, "I'll walk you home."

Lynn watched everyone and decided to sneak off and gather her thoughts. She still didn't know what to think or say of Marcus being there. He couldn't be properly protected if he chose to stay. He may still be able to get out. Thinking this however, Lynn knew it could no longer happen. Christy had already seen him and what was worse, Theonin and Rhys had. She had no idea if anyone else had either. Her heart felt oddly heavy, if anything happened to him she would only be able to blame herself...she wished she had never known him...if only it meant he would be safe now.

BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZ Startled by the fax machine that she had just passed by, she jumped and looked at the paper as it filed out. She looked around and pulled it out, then sat on the couch and read it.

Lynn's eyes widened as she jumped up again. This didn't sound good. She had to make sure Calista had made it home, just incase she might have been wrong. Running out of the apartment and completely disregarding everyone, she knocked rapidly on Calista's door and waited for a minute...nothing... Rapping again, and harder, Lynn called out to her, "Calista! Calista! Are you in there?!" No answer yet again.

Down by the place designated in the fax, she looked up at the apartments then back down at the ground. There didn't seem to have been any struggle. But that was hard to gauge on the street anyway, so she disregarded that fact. Lynn was about to leave for the apartment again when she spotted a pile of white bags in the alley near the trash. They looked like they had just been thrown into the there, like someone wanted them out of the way in a hurry.

Marcus watched as Lynn Ran out of the room, heard her franticly calling for Calista, and heard her run down the stairs to the ground floor. "Lynn! What's going on?!" Marcus, fearing not only that something was amiss, but he feared something might happen to Lynn. "Dammit Lynn, wait!" He runs down, and notices her looking at the white trash bags. "Hey, what's the matter? Why are you so spooked?" Marcus quietly pulls one of his guns out. "Lynn...what's wrong, talk to me."

Calista followed Edward slowly, ignoring the pain in her head and shoulder. She held her head high in silent defience. There was no way she was going to show any weaknesses in front of these people. Years in the mafia taught her that you only lived if you were strong enough to continue.

The tapping of fingers on a keyboard drew her eyes to the girl sitting in the hall. A single glance at Zizaa explained why she was here. While she struggle to keep her face straight, she cursed herself inwardly.

Who better to find a hacker then a fellow hacker? Suddenly things were starting to fall into place.

Talking cheerfully, Edward continued to smile as he led Calista down the hall. The fact that she wasn't listening didn't bother him in the least. Afterall, finding Calista had been his idea.

Like always, he wasn't directly involved in the operation, but he was the one who brought up her up. High school had been full of those who you'd rather stay at home and not learn anything, but she had been different. No one touch her. She did what she wanted, and even the teachers chose to go about their lives pretending she wasn't there, then have personal information about them pop up on the internet. She of all people impressed him.

Now, as he lead her into the main part of the worn down church that searved as one of 3Crosses' bases, he couldn't help but smile at her. More then anything he was hoping she would join them. Afterall, they were doing what she used to do in school, but at a larger scale.

Leaning against one of the many pews, he motioned for her to sit. His face grew serious, but no matter how hard he tried, a smile lurked around the corners of his mouth and danced in his eyes.

Calista looked around tiredly. She had been through too much, too soon. Looking up at Edward as she took a seat, she finally spoke. The noise echoed around the empty place of prayer, breaking the silence.

"Where am I and why am I here." Edwards smile grew.

"Listen closely, although everything I say will more then likely be repeated by someone else later on." With that said, be began to fill her in on the purpose of her kidnapping.

The street lamp flickered bit as she looked at Marcus, quite surprised he had followed her. She mouthed some words but couldn't manage to actually say anything. Taking a deep breath, Lynn handed the fax Calista had sent, and finally mustered up words, "I think she's been kidnapped...I-I received this not too long ago in the apartment." Sighing and waving her hands around she continued, "You'll see she sent this holding the suspicion that people were following her. There's still a possibility she really wasn't, but if I remember correctly, she usually goes shopping for her food today. And those bags over there look like the ones from the shop we always get our food from..." Lynn shrugged and looked around, hoping to find more clues, and waiting for Marcus to take it all in.

Kidnappings weren't at all uncommon in the mob. As was evidenced by her own reason for being there. So her worry levels were especially high, especially as kidnappings within the mob usually resulted in death.

Marcus looked at the fax. He studied the ground, and the fax. He looked at all of the buildings, and looking down the alley, he notices that it was big enough for a car to drive through. He made a mental note to look down there later. He spoke to Lynn."Now, about those bags, do you want to look? If you want to, I'll make sure no one get's the drop on us." Marcus pulls out both of his guns now. "First, call Rachel and make sure they know where we are, and what happened. I don't want the same thing to happen to us." He scanned the surrounding area, looking for possible places someone could hide.

Lynn nodded and went straight for the bags, looking through them for some sort of clue. There had to be something. She noted it was definitely food, and that it was VERY likely to be from the grocer they usually used. She didn't, however, find anything that might tell her where Calista might be. A large sigh escaped from her lips and she put her hand left hand to her forehead, removing her cell from her pocket and dialing Rachel's number with her right. While she waited for Rachel to pick up, she watched Marcus scan the area, hoping he, at least, might find something.

Marcus walks over to the alley, while keeping a close eye on Lynn. He looks at the floor of the alley, looking for anything that might help him somehow. Looking closer, he notices somewhat fresh tire tracks. "Lynn! tire marks. And they're still somewhat fresh! I don't think they'll ead us very far, but it might lead us to something." Xilocent suddenly notices movement out of the corner of his eye. "Who's there!" He shouts, drawing his guns to the darkened corner. "Show yourself, don't make me come find you!"

A beggar walks out from behind the corner, shaking. "Please don't kill me! I didn't do anything! If you're looking for the girl who was carrying all that food, I saw a black car with no licence plates pick her up, and head that way...please don't Kill me!" he begged, falling to his knees.

"I'm not going to kill you, this information could prove quite useful to me" Marcus said. He walks over to the beggar, still watching Lynn, making sure this wasn't some kind of trick. "Here, take this, and get yourself some soap." Marcus said almost meanly, while handing the man a 50 dollar bill.

She looked up quickly and ran over to where Marcus was. Noting the tracks and watching Marcus deal with the homeless man. She kept the phone to her ear still, as she continued to wait for an answer to Rachel's cell. Where did she go...? She then turned and spoke to Marcus in a calm tone, "Okay...so we know which way she went. But how does that help us? The tire tracks won't lead us the where Calista is unless they reach all the way there." Lynn rationalized. "What are we going to do?"
