"OK look, we can discuss your apparently desire to spank me for misbehaving later." Kairatos snorted, perhaps a bit embarrassed being scolded like a recalcitrant child when he was -trying- to back down a general, and he took deliberate advantage of Cetus's recent shock to wiggle free, planting both feet on the earth of the Rift as firmly and confidently as he could under the circumstances, the code tucked tightly into the crook of his arm, and re-summoning the net he'd let vanish earlier into his grip. It wasn't a spear, but it was designed to tangle and disarm, even if he rarely used it in exactly the manner to which it was designed. "But let's get serious here." He challenged to Benny, trying to keep his face neutral as the dragon thundered over the crowd, breathing black fire. The strangeness of it offended the eye, like some animal part of your mind knew nothing was supposed to look like that, and yet there it was. "Do they chop up a script and tell you it's Alpha-bits or something when they feed it to you, Ben? Because otherwise I've gotta wonder if they've been workin on a hive mind since I've been gone like those creepy a** broken doll senshi. You brainwashed or just a hive mind Benny, because I have heard allllll that s**t before. Look at me, I'm so tough, chaos granted me the power to yank starseeds so I could pretend I'm a better adjusted Ted Bundy and pretend I'm not the back up larder. Oooh, I'm sooooo tough. I got a pointy stick and a ******** up starseed, no one understands me so I'm gonna ******** everything up and pretend it matters in the grand scheme. Been there. Done that...."
He held his ground as best he could, though every fiber in him wanted to drop and cringe at the unholy wail of the dragon. It was just noise... he tried to convince the saner, animal terror part of his mind. He'd take a thousand dragons over Schorl.
And at the last minute he took an aggressive swing with the net as the creature thundered over head. His net wasn't designed for this, he doubted it would so much as scratch a scale, but the gesture was 90% show anyway. But although the blow did little more than make a loud noise of it's own as the horns on his net rapped a sharp staccato against the scales, in passing, maybe scratching a few lines in them, he hoped the point was made.
He wasn't backing down, and he doubted his new acquaintances were either, even if they had go over or through Benny to do it.
"Spare me the school yard taunts, you pathetic bottom feeder."

He caught a brief glimpse of Bifrost as she ran forward - but Denebola had crashed into Laurelite, and down they both went. Celsus made a strangled noise in the back of his throat and staggered, drawing the whip back as he prepared to snap it again at the General Queen. He ignored the pounding in his head, the growing waves of nausea, and as Denebola scrambled away, he drew back the weapon and desperately cracked it forward again, aiming for Laurelite, anywhere, leg, arm, face it didn't matter, anything to get her away from Denebola.
I can't do anything right.
But the ground was rumbling dangerously beneath their feet; and the heavy flap of wings, the fire -
Celsus felt it burning, felt the waves of heat that scorched across the ground and let out a yell of startled pain, his eyes widening. He was dimly aware of Denebola grabbing at him, shouting at him as she grabbed him, dragging him down and away. Her attempts were appreciated; he felt the clogging sensation of smoke and fire in his lungs, his chest heaving for air.
But her reprimands were barely heard. Celsus was trembling, gripping the whip tightly, as though it were a lifeline.
"We should - find - " His voice was hoarse, rough. " - the others - "
He felt horribly weak, but he couldn't - he had to keep going -
His hand shot out, and an enormous owl came bursting into existence, giving a hoot as it soared towards Denebola, the wings expanding protectively around her. Celsus could barely keep the summons in existence, his breath shuddering out of him, and lurched forwards, twisting his arm back and cracking the whip towards the dragon with as much strength as he could.
It wasn't very much - but he had to try -

Sailor Lacrimosa - is attempting to attack the dragon
Just when things looked like they couldn't get any worse, a youma appeared. And of course it would be a dragon, that was just their luck for the night. A dragon that was loud and spewed fire and she was having trouble concentrating at it was but now she couldn't really hear? Or at least all she could hear was the loud echoing roar.
She could have cried, she was tired and bleeding and just wanted to go home and deal with this all by maybe not. What she wouldn't give at this moment to have some one to go home to to help her deal with this all.
But she had to get home first and it seemed like the only way to do that now was take out the youma. Maybe.
Brown eyes landed on a rock just by her feet, it looked like it had enough heft to do some damage. Possibly. Grabbing it, she wrenched her arm back to throw the rock as hard as she could in hopes of hitting the dragon. It was a large target, despite it's moving right?
Note to self, don't try and throw rocks at a moving target.

Sailor Elpis
That Chaos burned already aching injuries, but it wasn't getting Elpis down, not yet. Instead, she watched Huntite, and rolled forwards to duck, both hands shooting out to grab Huntite's legs; or at least make the effort. Cheat, maybe - though some shots seemed clearly off the table now, she knew these kinds of fights would be dirty, and the senshi huffed.
"Why would I? I get home made cookies at home. Or cake if I really wanna." Elpis snickered, shrugging.
"Besides can't deprive you the joy of lording the last cookie now can I?"
....She mentally noted she was far too used to Negaverse agents by now. Way, way too used to this.

Well these two are clearly bantering more than fighting. W h e l p. They try.
Lt. Coffinite
Coffinite grinned wider. The magic was fading, and a surge of chaos, familiar, yet not, coursed him, and the spider looked directly at Etamin, suddenly looking rather manic.
He was enjoying the misery around him.
"Fun?" He drawled slowly, eyes flashing. Every eye was beginning to grow venomous, blind or not, and the half-youma laughed almost as if at afternoon tea, a cold, druel mirthful laugh before he drew a hand to his chest.
"Fun? Oh, I could show you, but I'm afraid you aren't worthy. Unlike I." Coffinife remained pleased, beaming wildly. He felt his heart pounding, each arm mocking, mirthful, and primed. "But first I must determine the best place to paint with your blood and to whom I shall dedicate my victory shrine to."

Castor Page Aptera
She threw a rock angrily at the dragon youma that nearly set them on fire at the last minute and missed.
And Hessite had bolted, but then someone else had arrived asking if they were okay, if they needed help. It was the senshi who had joined the battle ahead of her when their thoughts differed on whether the starseeds should be left behind or taken along in endeavoring to get to the portal.
"I'm still wanting the starseeds to get out of this place with us," Aptera replied as she stood gradually with the load of said starseeds and gave a tacit smile in gratitude when the senshi gave a nod, offered to help again, and moved to hold part of the load not unlike how they had managed to haul the starseeds here in the first place from the barracks before going their separate ways.
"That had indeed been a close call. How are you holding up, Goretti, Altair?" she asked the senshi of Glue and the senshi of Scalpels.
She was still somewhat amazed that she and the senshi she had hiked here with had ended up meeting up again this way when another arrival took place.
Her gaze moved to the newest arrival now. "Prince Castor," Aptera hadn't known they would cross paths this closely at any point of being in this place. "Alright, I want to help you. If I can be more help in addition to pelting around more rocks as I have been thus far, I would certainly like to be of more assistance. So, Prince Castor, what do you have in mind?" Her words were said with calmness as she was accustomed to delivering with her speech, but she was more and more frustrated as the seconds ticked by with being unable to be of more aid. She wouldn't promise that she could succeed since she couldn't guarantee that, but she would act with determination that characterized her approaches toward what she set her mind on. And since entering this place, she has set her mind on striving toward being all the help she could possibly be.
"Altair, would you please take my place getting these starseeds rescued?" Aptera asked.
Sailor Altair
She had given a tacit nod when Aptera had asked how she was doing. She could definitely be better, but right now she was just glad to have narrowly avoided being fried to a crisp thus far and hoped she could stay uncooked.
"How a-about you, Goretti?" Altair asked as well; her gaze had immediately moved to Goretti to see his own response, whether he would reply that he is hurt or not and prayed for the latter.
She moved to stand as well and when more of her voice returned, she replied as she took over holding part of the load Aptera had been carrying along with the senshi who had almost immediately filled in the lieutenant's vacancy in their midst, "Yes, o-okay, Aptera." Her concerned gaze repeatedly traveled between Goretti, the senshi carrying part of the load of starseeds with her now, Aptera, and Prince Castor who had been second in arriving after the dragon sweeping by. Time seemed to be going further in fast forward and she willed her head not to spin. At the mention of the dangerous task Prince Castor was recruiting Aptera for, she added to the Castorians they may be separating from and then in repetition to them all, "Please, p-please m-make it back to Destiny City. Let-let's all s-succeed in getting out of here, in m-making it back to Destiny City."

Arthur the Guardian Cat
This close from the ground, with sensitive smell added, Arthur could not ignore carnage. He could not ignore shredded fabric on paling bodies or the feeling of blood caked between his pawpads.
He thought of the young not being able to grow old. He thought of funerals. He though of mourning. He thought of white iris wreathes on spikes on recently moved dirt.
Shuddering, he looked up at the youma ahead of them. He had always been afraid of them, avoided them, ran from then. How did he end up here with all of them? But what he never saw was a youma as large as the one above, and he knew that they might all end up like those on the ground.
He glanced at the small group of those he just met and recently started getting to know, and knew that he couldn't do much to help them. As a guardian, he didn't do much aside from bring them to this world.
The least he could do was try to bring them back.
Looking ahead, he focused as best he could but noticed his glasses were smudged with blood. Sighing loud.y, he dismissed the glasses and summoned a new pair before he looked up. A shot of light flew up from his star into the youma. It was lucky for him that it was so large that missing was actually pretty hard.
Pleased with the hit, he sat there and watched it move. If only he could be flung up, maybe he could have done more.

Sailor Cybele
And... it turned out to be a dragon. Specifically, it was a dragon that was breathing fire, which was the last thing Cybele wanted to see right now, given the events of the last several minutes. At least the senshi who was carrying her managed to avoid the flames, but it was still a bumpy ride, and as he fell and they landed, hard, she felt the gash on her chest open up again. She hissed, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
She looked up into his eyes. "Thank you," she said. It would have been a better moment if they hadn't been complete strangers. Instead, it was just slightly awkward on top of everything else. She got to her feet as quickly as possible. She was... very dizzy at this point, to be honest, but she knew she couldn't be spared a babysitter. "You'll be fine," she said, not expecting it to be true. "I've seen one almost as big as this before, and we don't have to kill it. We just have to get out." She gave him a small nod, which worsened the spinning in her head. "Good luck."
Turning away, she decided to take a cue from the others and try to use the sharp crystals of this place to her advantage. Snapping one off, she hurled it at the dragon as it passed overhead.

Her hands had come up to cover her ears the moment the youma let out its wail, trying to block out some of the ringing that lingered behind it. Altais had pulled away and he was saying something, but she couldn't make it out and he'd turned his head so there was no chance of her reading his lips. Hell, she wasn't certain that she could have done so even if he was facing her, mind racing so quickly that she couldn't stay focused.
One of the larger crystals landed beside her, splintering the ground by her feet and startling her out of her stupor. A smaller one came tumbling down after it, catching her in the head and knocking her off of her feet. The jagged edge had nicked her brow just shy of her temple.
The Senshi of Vengeance lit up, the dam that kept her from accessing her powers collapsing as crimson started to trickle from the cut on her forehead. If anyone had told her years ago that she would be relieved that something had finally hit her she would have laughed at them. But now?
Corvus scrambled back to her feet as quickly as she could, wavering slightly before catching sight of the dragon youma. "Violent Revenge!" Barely focused, she fired the attack off and was surprised that it didn't fizzle. It might not have done much, but anything was better than nothing.
"Altais, are you alright?"

Lt. Huntite
Huntite jerked in surprise at the sudden fire in the battle field but shrugged it off when it didn't burn. Clearly the dragon-youma's attacks must not hurt those on it's side. The roar was distracting though so it allowed Elpis to grab his legs. "One would hope not as cookies are apparently the staple of the dark side." Not that he thought the Negaverse was the dark side but he knew the intruder probably did. He then kicker out one of his legs, hoping she would be distracted enough that just holding them wouldn't stop the kick.

Erebus, Squire of Saturn ~ With Venice and Phact's group
Erebus' attention was caught but the appearance of the dragon-youma. Between the burning fire and the loud roar though it took him a few moments to react. He glanced around at the group to see if they were still mostly fine, eyes lingering first on Venice and then on the scene of Kairatos and Cetus. Ge didn't give the General (Benitoite) much attention though since at the moment the youma was the bigger threat in more ways then one.
He took a deep breath as he griped his oar then attacked the youma with it when it flew over head. On one hand he was grateful that it looked like he got in a good hit, on the other hand he could feel the gash on his arm from Apatite throbbing again from the motions.

Cetus - attacking the youma
Well, there went the weight on his back - literally. The mars knight had gotten off him, taking advantage of his weakened muscles thanks to his cousins attack. He didn't blame her, not something she could predict or control, still hurt though. At the others words he flush red and turned his golden eyes on to him. "Get your mind our of the gutter. I did not mean it like that." No, he really didn't. Shaking his head he was watching the General even though he felt something much darker approaching and when he saw it he stared, he couldn't help it.
"Dragon.." He whispered staring but he did manage to snap himself out of it, having missed everything the General had said in favor of staring at the Dragon which he entered the field from above. When it's wings flapped and the flames came he brought both arms up to shied himself from whatever may come. It was a good idea as well as it burned and stung at his flesh - and there was a lot of flesh available.
Biting down on the inside of his cheek, which hurt a good deal, he focused himself once more onto the dragon. he had never used his magic, he didn't know what it would do, he just hoped he didn't throw a cucumber at the thing.
His fingers came up to his forehead. His middle finger pressed gently to his flesh before it was directed at the giant flying youma. "Kappa illusion." The words a whisper. The light left his finger tip and he hoped it would hit but he had no way of knowing the range of his attack either - till now.
Attack:
You can have it hit or not, he could easily be out of range. Sailor Scout Attack: Kappa Illusion! With this attack he will bring up one of his hands and touching his forehead with his middle finger he will than point his middle finger at his intended target, someone within an eight foot radius of him, and a pale green light will leave his finger tip directed at his target. If the attack hits it will last for 15 seconds and during those fifteen seconds the victim, be they chaos or order, they will find themselves trapped within a strong illusion. In this illusion they will see themselves in water and suddenly being grabbed and dragged further down by a kappa. This attack can be broken out of by those with a strong will and outside forced can also snap the victim from this illusion. The attack can be cast 3 times in battle.

Chaldene - Attacking the youma
The roar which shook the area and the aura he felt shook the eternal down to his core. What was it? It was something big and it was...a dragon! Normally, under other circumstances, he'd think this was very cool but right now - nope. So many nopes. This was not a cool thing, this was a very dangerous and uncool thing - so much not good here.
"This is so not good." He said staring at the dragon with unblinking green eyes. This was really bad and how were they going to beat a youma like that? If this wasn't a youma he wouldn't want to hurt it. But without tearing his eyes away he was bending down and feeling around on the ground for a rock. His hands landing on a crystal rock, as it seemed this whole place was made up of glowing purple crystals and rocks, he stood slowly and hurled it toward the youma.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
While Ganymeade was working, Gevaudan watched something he had not seen before. The girl's fuku had once been white, was changing black. It looked like a corruption, but it was so slow, and he wondered how exactly it was working if the General Queen wasn't around to continue pumping chaos into her. Was it just that they were at the Negaverse base that it could continue due to such a thick Chaos atmosphere, or something else.
As he watched, holding his side and looking about for any immediate dangers than the otherwise army of threats in front of them, he watched as Ganymeade worked to pull the chaos away. Considering she purified him, he didn't think it wasn't possible, just that she had already used so much of her own energy. She had needed her top form just to purify him and that had left him very weak.
But she seemed to accomplish what she needed and once done, once she seemed sure of herself, she passed out.
"We need to get out. They will gobble up a royal's starseed just out of spite now before the Negaverse army. To show an example of what happens to those that oppose them. It would crush moral all around." Just as they had done taking out Apaitite. It would either fuel the flames of hatred or it would cause a soloem air that someone great had fallen.
To make matters worse, he heard the flapping, and it stilled him. Frozen.
A cool wind.
Dark.
His heart jumped to hsi throat at a distant memory. A cool night in summer. Locked away.
His jerked about, eye searching frantically. "No......she isn't.................still around?"
Was she?
In the distance it came, and for a split second, he believed. He believed that what seemed lost was actually alive. A crushed memory, but somehow still there. Somehow, taken over, something from before.
But isntead of a great, blackened bird, something reptilian came and he felt himself grow cold, and yet he noticed something. He felt disappointed. He felt saddened that, despite how terrible it was to think of Tanzanite as living as a massive youma, at least she would have still have been a terrible living force to be recognized with. Instead, they had this. This a threat. Still a beast. Still heartless, but without any connection.
Wouldn't matter anyways.........if it was her.....it wouldn't have really been HER. It would have been just her shell...
He gritted his teeth and summoned his weapon once more, standing tall. Bitterness swelled in him and self hatred at ever hoping for a distant memory that probably would want nothing to do with him anyways now.
Spinning the weight, he took aim as it swooped down and threat, hitting his mark perfectly before it flew back down. The dog head hit the ground with a thud as Gevaudan fell back and held his side, breathing hard. At least he got the one hit in.
"We're being overwhelmed. We don't have reinforcements that can answer us even if we tried to call them. We need to clear someway ahead for us." He said, stating no doubt the obvious problems they had.
