Cene took one look at the doc and sized him up.
Despite the creepy vibe he was presenting, she was fairly certain she could crush him into a messy goo on the floor. No challenge for her.
If he tried something, she could easily make him regret it.

She started unfasening her armor plates from her jumpsuit and wrapped them and her helmet and kama in her armorweave cloak.
Clad in her crimson jumpsuit, Cene gazed at the Doctor, her now amber taung eyes contrasting with her grey skin and white hair.

"Touch my armor and I'll rip your spine out your mouth." She told him plainly.
Mandalorians didnt make threats. They made promises. And if he didnt know that he would learn the hard way.

Obroa-skai

Melissa sat staring at the computer screen, not really looking at the data as she scrolled thro the vast amount of information repositories that were stored here. She had found nothing she was looking for. Glancing at the old style clock that hung on the wall she shut down the terminal and stood up to leave, it was almost time for her shift to start at her temporary job at the space port. She had received the page that a ship had crash-landed somewhere out in the tundra and she wondered what kind of shape it was in.
Shrugging into her long coat, she made her way to the door, lost in her thoughts she almost bumped into something entering thro the main doors. Looking up she was surprised to see a Wookiee, her white fur hidden underneath a dark cloak with obvious sighs that she had been tromping thro the snow.
“’Pardon me.” She said as she stepped aside to let the bigger critter by.

Nakara feigned amazement as she took her armor off. His years in the galaxy had taught him the many races and breeds of species, but none had he encountered quite like this. A rare breed produced an even rarer hybrid. In spite of his desire to place her through his number of tests, he turned and searched for the wand

"Compared to your armor, you are far more impressive. But I'm not getting paid to oggle you, nor are you interested in lines you've no doubt heard a thousand times before," he stated, as the small detector turned on with a beep. "Forgive this archaic device, but it's the best I can bring along. Its a hardy piece of technology, but sadly only so good."

He began at the legs, working his way up past the thighs and waistline and through the arms, as the machine picked up nothing. Her arms picked nothing up, but the head pinged out a few beeps.

"Good news is that most of your body is clean," Nakara announced. "Bad news is that there are a few stuck in the deepest recesses of your brain. They look inert enough, though they're powered by your own bio-electricity, centered mostly around the lower parts of the cerebral cortex and the chiasma near the thalamus. Your anatomy is somewhat foreign, but in a human such as myself, that's where the optic junction lies. May I inquire as to what surgery you attempted to undergo that placed them up there?"

Katarra had found the building without a problem, and registered her ship in the computer. It went smoothly, and she turned to leave, deciding to pick a few things up, when someone bumped right into her as she was passing through the main doors. She blinked down at the humanoid woman, and blinked at the polite tone. She was rather impressed, few people actually apologized to a Wookiee, they usually just backed up hurridly. She actually appeared civil.

Katarra growled a response in her short gruff barking language, and waved a hand as she pushed out of the room, glancing back at the woman.

"I'm only half human." Cene grumbled. "I'm a Taung/Human hybrid. enough of the pieces should be close enough to human for you to be able to work out what is what. As for the bots, those were part of a booby trap set off by an old AI I stumbled across. Probably a few Millenia old. Now can you get 'em out?"

You Will Never Be A Man

Takamura had been in another part of the library when he heard the wookiee growl and poked his head out to investigate. It was unusual for a wookiee to be found outside of Kashyyyk, much less this far into the interior. The woman who had moved aside surprised him even more, everyone he had known either was scared of wookiees or wanted them dead. He wanted nothing to do with the wookiee, but the Jedi's politeness had intrigued him. He put the holobook he was skimming back on the shelf and descended the flight of stairs to the main level where the Jedi had been. Once he was within sight of her he hid behind a shelf, afraid that he would botch yet another meeting. Slowly he slid from his hiding place and approached the woman, quietly he spoke, his voice soft and gentle, the complete opposite of the rugged looks he often adorned. "Excuse me, miss? I couldn't help but notice your politeness, why?" He cringed slightly as he waited for her answer.

Urutau in the the Bothan Salient

"Here I go to waste another four hours of my life," thought Aekin as he stared on his patrol of the base. Darth Elapidae had left the planet and had taken over half of his forces with him to crush the foolish Jedi for their latest indiscretion at Galli Station. He wish he would have went with them though. Better than guard duty at least, especially when most of the competing Sith had brought the majority of their forces with them as well. They would all soon fall under Darth Elapidae's rule soon enough.

As he walked around the perimeter, he glanced around looking for anything out of the ordinary. Like things were ever since the war party left, he saw nothing. "Damn it," Aekin thought, "Why the hell did I have to get stuck with the scrub job." Then he looked up to see if the guy in the watch tower was as bored as he was. Oddly enough he couldn't see anyone there. He started making his way towards the tower to see where his fellow guards man had run off to. As Aekin was about to turn on his comlink, a blue hand covered his mouth. Aekin had no chance to fight back as the cold metal of a vibroknife was stabbed into his throat. Within seconds the soldier vision turned black never to see the light of day again.

~~~~~~~~~~
Xel pulled his combat knife out of the now lifeless man and moved him to a more concealed spot as most of his team caught up. "Mireen, anymore guards on the way to our objective?" The Duros asked into his own comlink.
"That was the last one on the perimeter, sir." A dark skinned human woman replied from her sniper vantage point. "Everything appears clear on your way in."
Xel turned to the rest of his team, "Alright, let's move. Keep your eyes open in case anymore come out."
The fireteam moved silently and stealthily towards their first objective. Xel stopped the team with a hand signal and pointed towards a camera warning them to avoid it's gaze. Slowly them team made it thorough the blind spot and continued on. As they reached the hangar, Xel stopped at the door. "Jen, your up."
"Right, right. What would you guys do without me?" asked a dark haired Corellian woman as she plugged in her slicing equipment.
"We probably would have an easier time sneaking around without you babbling all the time," said a light skinned Zabrak.
"Alright that's enough from you both," Xel said. "Get the door open and we can argue about this later. Viz. Soap. Keep watch."
In under half a minute the door was open. "Good work Jen. Viz you take point," Zel told the Zabrak as they entered the building.
The Sith were far fewer than they had been before. Many of their big ships had been struck hard by the trap Stryder set and were blasted out of commission. Numerous corvettes and Frigates had been sunk on both sides, far more on their side than his.
But he had all four of his enemy's flanks under his control. The Sith had nowhere to go but retreat into hyperspace.
The battle was firmly in Stryder's hands.
However, as he watched it play out before him, something caught his eye on the right of the bunched up Sith Formation, a massing of ships around a few damaged but still surviving battleships.
They were going to attempt a breakthrough. He could read their intentions like a book.
Stryder turned swiftly to his XO.
"Vaklar, tell Lady Eldin to shift her forces to concentrate on that mass of ships on the Sith's right Flank. I want those battleships destroyed before they can punch through our lines."
The Admiral nodded and sent the Naboo Jedi the order. It was a risky move to focus ships in one position. t would be weakening other portions of the formation but he couldnt allow the Sith to break out. A Moral surge could turn the battle against him.
"Taung/human hybrid. I'd ask how that happened, but you'd probably use that nice gauntlet on my neck, and then you'd never get those little buggers out. Knowing that they're pretty old, its probably some artifact by the jedi or sith. As the jedi were better recordkeepers, its probably ancient sith technology, which lucky for you I'm more than well aquainted with. I can get them out faster than a hungry krayt dragon chasing after a bantha. The method is how. I can use a remote controlled device and manually pull them out, one by one, or inject you with nanites. Your choice, but its a very sensitive area. One wrong move and you'll lose eyesight." He stated, emphasizing the danger.
"But then again, you have one of the best working on you. If I can't do the procedure without injury, I doubt anyone else will."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 24, 2008 9:23 pm
Cene arched an eyebrow.
"My father had sex with my mother. Thats how I happened. Is it that hard for you to figure out? and wont my body just break down and absorb the proteins the Nanites are made out of?"
"Never know. Probably not, as nanites are usually made of metals or something of the sort, not organic materials. Sith Alchemy made some nasty metals too. Some which are poisonous without needing poison, others which drew the life-force out of a victim, and even now, I know of some who are trying to turn hunks of metal into living organisms, and even one Sith who is trying to create a way to ilterally hack a person's DNA and clone himself. But we can just leave them up there if you don't want to do anything about it. I'm just a cyberneticist after all, not a warrior."
Nakara folded his arms, and began searching through some of the tubs for more buglocks and plungers. Ancient AI, huh? Even if it wasn't Sith or Jedi in nature, it could be something from the ancient races. Such technology may be archaic, or really advanced, far ahead of its time. He dreamed of how much he could learn from one nanite, much less twenty, fifty, or a thousand of them.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 24, 2008 9:50 pm
Cene could hear a dark, ominous chuckle at the back of her mind and her eyes narrowed.
Terrific...he's still there and something's amused him...better get this over with quick.
"Then just inject me with some Counter Nanites then." She said. "Let them sort it out. Probably be a hell of alot more effective than if yout tried it manually anyway."
As much as Nakara had wanted to investigate her insides as much as her outsides, he never let any intention out about it. Oh well, he had a good 400 years or more to take over the galaxy, there'd be other once-in-a-lifetime deals to take advantage of.
"Glad you are willing for a second chance. In three hours, it'll be like you never had them. Just try to work up a sweat. It will help excrete the waste out. Let me fetch the stuff."
Exiting the storeroom, he knocked on a door right across the hall. It opened, as Nubyl appeared.
"I need an injection of counter-nanites." Nubyl turned without a second glance, and returned a minute later with a syringe with a metallic fluid floating inside it. "Thank you dearie."
He turned around and went back inside the storeroom. "So, right or left arm?"
Cene rolled up her left sleave, revealing a white taung sigil on her forearm.
"And you said this will cost me 5k?" she asked. "Because at that price, if this doesnt work, you'll definately be hearing from me."
"If my products didn't work, I wouldn't be in buisness today. You haven't heard of any bounties on my head posted from the sith, have you? If I was a con artist, I wouldn't deal with the sith nor the mandelorians. Both have a reputation for being rather deadly if crossed," he retorted, giving a quick injection. Nakara didn't completely lie. The nanites would do their jobs with little worry, just as he said. However, there was a bounty on him, placed on him. In this disguise, however, nobody had yet found out that they were one in the same.
A small beeping came on the wall. "If you don't mind, take however much you wanted of the buglocks and plungers. Just leave the credits on a crate or something. I've got to tend to Nubyl." He bowed, and left the room, entering Nubyl's quarters and closing the door behind him.
"What is it?" He hissed.
"The compound has a strong weakness here." she retorted. "I dont' trust the Taung woman though."
"Buisness is buisness."
