Rare was the occasion that Keno would use his Mineral in combat these days. In truth he probably should not have forgotten it so easily, but that was exactly what happened. After not using it for so long, the fact that he had it sort of receded to the back of his mind, and were it not for the fact that he was currently wondering why a metallic substance did not increase his weight as much as perhaps it should, he may not have bothered with it now.
In the ring, all he was doing was flipping around, jumping in the air, twirling, and all sorts of acrobatics that would seem otherwise normal were it not for the fact that he was tens of feet in the air for suspended periods of time. First he'd take to the air, then dash and leap again, doing double, triple, quadruple flips, handsprings in rapid succession, corkscrews, and barrel rolls as though he had only just acquired some new power.
Leaning against the edge of the ring, facing the entrance was a giant four foot tall metal slab two feet thick. He couldn't even begin to guess how much it weighed as it was weightless to him, but otherwise very little about it was spectacular.
With a soft landing that did not even grace the arena with a tap, he looked rather intrigued and excited, like a chemist coming across a totally new element or molecular bond. Nonetheless, reading that off of his face was about as difficult as it usually was with that scarf and had, loyally attached to his two toned hair and sun tanned face. It was a wonder he wasn't too hot or dehydrated.

((Sorry for the delay had to get some food ready.))
Having arrived within the Arena she had been watching him leap about like a child with a new toy. Making not attempt to make her presence known the mage watched the Tiger with amusement. As he came to stop as if congratulating himself she smirked.
"Are you having fun there?"
Seated in the stands she crossed her legs giving him an inquisitive stare.
"I haven't know you to train as such, then again, I haven't really seen you train persay."
Shrugging she propped her chin her palms.

He spun around quickly, more out of excitement than surprise, a gleam in his eye as he recognized immediately the image of Unks' wife...what was their last name? Had he ever known that?
"Oh my, I must be getting rusty to let someone sneak up on me like that," he replied with such a lighthearted air, one may have mistaken him for eighteen after all. Walking over to the mage, it seemed his day was only truly getting better at the moment, though there was no real basis for it to have started badly.
"The thing about training," he continued, "is that you have to constantly be doing something new. Otherwise you're just conditioning, which serves a different purpose of equal value, but only when paired together. If you train but do not condition, your skill will transcend your ability. Conditioning without training gives you power without control.
"Either way, that was neither. Just an experiment." Willing away his headgear, except that lovely headband fixated over his right eye today, he smiled genuinely at Pith as though he didn't have a problem in the world.
"So how have you been without your lover? I notice he's recently returned."

Raising an eyebrow at the question she shrugged.
"I've been fine for the most part. I would be lying if I said that I didn't miss him when were apart, but lived a great deal of time without a significant other, so I can manage. "
Tilting her head she smiled.
"So what have you been up to? You've been rather preoccupied as of late. Its nice to see you in a more jovial mood."
It seemed she was in one of her more nosey moods as of late, but now seemed as good a time as any to get a scoop on what was going on. To her knowledge his surprise visit from his future son may have played a part in his dour mood, but something made her think there was more to the picture.

He nodded as he listened, though for no real purpose other than to indicate that he was listening, but had no real desire to respond. Seemed like the thing to do at the time, anyway.
"Me? Hmm...well aside from training and conditioning, which we have already covered, I've been at home with my mother. It's amazing how someone so old and fragile can still manage to pull off looking more immortal than us." Of course by saying this he meant that her death would probably devastate him, no matter how long he had to prepare for it. Being accustomed to seeing people die though, his response to it wasn't exactly the most predictable and there was little chance anything but the will of the gods would call her soul away. It was one of the things that kept him in such a good mood about it.
"I guess that doesn't really say much about my mood though. The truth is, most of the time I am in a good mood. As you can tell though, most of the time, I'm not here. Today is one of those 'smile just for the hell of it' days," and he laughed to match the high spirits that lingered in the air.
"You should try it mage. Just laugh because you can. If you think back on all your troubles, I'm sure you'll notice how ridiculous they are now, or better, how silly they were even then." He laughed again. "Or would you prefer to take everything too seriously? That's not good for a future mother."
