((Thats a good sign. Hearing that makes me want to see it. I've heard from people you remember the show and still loved the movie, loved it was well. Micheal Bay sounds like he did the series justice.))

<< It certainly wans't the same, so don't really expect that. But it was a damn good action movie, that thankfully didn't get too cheesy. And the Transformers were awsome. The animation was amazingly brilliant, too! They did close ups of the transformations, and they looked good.
But of course, this is my opinion. Don't get built up about it. I heard some people didn't like it. >>

((I don't expect it to be close to being the same. The fact that theres no Hotrod nor Soundwave in this iteration is a sore point. But since I haven't seen the movie, I can't really complain.))

((Transformers ruled. I've only seen one of teh many cartoon series, but I loved it, and the movie as well. I still need to see the original though, just to get teh full effect. I actually have an original Transformers toy sitting up on my self, a metal Hasbro white and red jet. At first I thought it was Starscream, but it has the Autobot, not Decepticon logo. So I need to find out who he is. > >;;

((The original movie was good, but I don't think I was ever a very big fan of Rodimus prime. You have to have the hot head to counter act the noble leader. Or it just gets kinda sappy.))

((The series I saw was called Transformers: Robots in Disguise. It aired on FOX kids, but they brutalized the order of the episodes. /= Still, it was between Beast Wars, and the Armada/Cyberton series, so there were some Autobots versus Predacons, and Megatron was kick a**.
Anyways, my favorite from that was an Autobot brother. He was the youngest of three, and the sports car. His name was SideBurn. Thing is, Optimus Prime was a firetruck in that series. > >;;
