Jade smiled down at the sleeping kitsune on the coutner before her, and reached out to stroke his messy hair. Poor kid, he seemed to have it pretty rough back home.

Her eyes snapped up though at the sudden voice, to lock onto a familiar figure. She knew better than to wonder when he'd gotten there. Just because Keno wasn't there physcially in sight, didn't mean he wasn't there at all.

She stood up straight, never taking her eyes away from his glaring gaze. She never backed away from his approach, never lowered her eyes. What she had said, the girl couldn't take back now. It was done.

It was strange, but Jade was actually partially surprised to see such hurt in Keno's eye. He never smiled, never joked any more, merely sat and brooded it seemed to her. So she had begun to assume that pain didn't happen anymore either.

Still, in the silence that followed his initial statement, Jade couldn't help but feel like she'd been stabbed in the chest. The one man she had ever been able to call 'brother', and she was stabbing him behind his back with words. Had she known he was there, would she have said the same things, the young woman wondered.

But she wouldn't apollogize for the truth of her feelings. Now only time would tell what would happen next between the two of them.

With a heavy sigh, Jade cleaned up the glasses and placed them on a rack behind the bar; she'd take care of them in the morning. She walked around to where Kenta lay sleeping against teh bar, and smiled softly. Best not to leave him there to get a crick in his neck.

Almost effortlessly, the girl picked the silver kitsune up from the bar stool he sat on and carried him in her arms. Kenta was a cutie for sure, but he had to come out of his shell maybe a little more. But he was young, and had the time to grow up. Jade brought him over to the lounge, and gently placed him down on a couch just inside the entryway. At least there he'd be comfortable.

Sighing, Jade ran her left hand through her ebony locks. "What a night...." She said, turning away from the young boy and heading for the elevators. After this...she needed some comfort and some sleep. Pressing the call button, Jade didn't wait long for the pod to reach the bottom, and whisk her away to her room.

((I think the whole unit 97 thing is a great idea, but the fact that they never make any attempt to leave their designated areas its counter productive to any rping.

I've noticed that most the rpers at the Orion rarely make any attempt to go anywhere but the Orion. Another thing to note is that most the characters are actively looking to pick a fight with an individual who could likely kick their a**.

To break the apathy associated with the rp I believe we should expand the coverage of Unit 97 members to the club as well. Otherwise its just going to take another mass attack by them to get anyone to do anything. Hell you could even have something as crazy as Kenta making friends with Mani. Though a number of the club goers have done battle with the Unit members, I doubt they could pick any of them out of a line up.))
