It didn't take long for Jade to limber up, having done most of the stretching prior to coming downstairs. After finishing some final stretches, she swung her legs around and stood up in one smooth maneuver. With a pause to take another drink of water from her bottle, before putting it down and taking another ten paces into the ring.

She took another relaxing breath, and reached over her right shoulder, her small hand gripping the hilt. SLowly, she pulled the blue blade from it's sheath and held it out in front of her. Jade's grip was loose, letting the weight of the weapon rest in balance.

Speed. Precision. Power. Agility.

The girl didn't even notice Keno, focused completely on the blade in her hand. She wanted to be stronger. She wanted to protect, not be protected. Seinorei was an ally she could rely on not to critisize, and to aid her without smothering her.

Strength. Confidence.

Looked to him that she was getting better. Though he did wonder if all she did these days was train with that sword. He couldn't remember the last time he had used his Mineral in a fight; it had been feeding on him as of late and nothing more. He probably couldn't use it all that well anymore which might or might not be a mixed blessing depending on circumstances, but he was hardly able to say for sure without trying and he was in no state of mind to pick that up any time soon just for kicks and giggles.

To him, a weapon boiled down to serve only as a subordinate in battle where the body otherwise failed. Ever since he developed that opinion he had relied less and less on anything that wasn't his own body. What good would it serve him to master a weapon only to have someone disarm him? Argue the point as you might, a swordsman was just a man without a sword.

But this sword...it could be oh so much more than a sword couldn't it? Maybe this sword was the exception, but he'd be hard pressed to try anything with it himself. He wasn't the foulest individual, but that blade had already judged him and he's not even touched it yet. If he gave a damn, it might actually hurt his feelings.

At least the girl was trying. Just like he tried in his youth. There was one big difference between them though and it had nothing to do with power.

He bared his fangs at the young girl, though she would never be able to tell. He didn't take being ignored too lightly. Especially when he'd gone out of his way to sound polite to somebody walking around with a weapon strapped to their back. He let his face fall back to normal and his lips fell back over his fangs. He took in a deep breath to calm himself and followed after the girl into what seemed to be some sort of arena. The girl stepped into a ring and was stretching. He tore his eyes away. Temptations of the flesh always nagged at him. Especially back at the den. Some of those wolves were--What was he doing? He wasn't here to think about the females in the pack, he was here to find some kind of clue to his past. He obviously knew this place. He looked around. Nothing familiar. He shrugged.

He pushed his annoyance with the young girl aside. If he was going to get anywhere in this place, he would have to grit an bear it with these people. He picked up another scent. In the stands. He peered over his shoulder and noted somebody. Seemed kinda anti-social with their position. Then again, an anti-social person would be easier to deal with than a girl with a shiny, pointed and sharpened object on her back. He stepped forward and up onto to the ringm but stayed a good fifteen feet away from the girl. He projected his voice a little more, just in case the girl hadn't heard him before.

"Excuse me."

His voice had been a little more impatient this time around and he hadn't meant it to be. That could offend somebody. Oh well. Therer was nothing he would to about it now. By now the girl had drawn the blade and, Soneko guessed, was ready to start swinging the thing around. Training, apparently. But Soneko would have to cut her session short.

Breaking away from his tradtional entrance, Wesley finds himself standing high atop the ring on one of the many metallic rafter beams that support the ceiling. Tybron did fine work; the demon takes a moment to notice his brother's creation. He was never an architect though. There is likely a building quite similar to this one in design somewhere on this planet that he copied, knowing him.

Not taking a lot of care in masking his presence, Tali's power is suppressed but not to an extent that would leave one mistaking him for the average Earthling. He takes a gander down at the floor far below, picking up three beings: the Saiya-jin girl, Jade; the tiger, KenoTao, and.. some other boy. Quiet night. Wesley lifts one brow in near disappointment as he takes note of this, soon resigining to the idea that, even so, he is rarely around for even this much activity. Best not leave them in suspense, yes? Should one notice, as it would be difficult not to, there is a second entity with the demonic overlord. It bears a far more ominous presence. Much older, much darker. Said entity can be both seen and felt as it unexpectedly draws nearer to Jade below. Not at a supernatural speed; just gravity doing it's thing.

The dark blade of Shinorei comes crashing down with a slam only feet before the girl, imbedding itself several inches into the stone tip-first. Impact sending shards of broken ring tile every which direction, the monstrous weapon seems to hum with energy for the brief moment that it remains alone. Taliman himself nonchalantly steps off of the metal beam above, arms folded calmly behind his waist as he falls. He is attired in typical scarlet clothes, smooth long jacket and slacks, purple pinstripe vest with white peasant shirt underneath giving his cuffs a lacey look. Sturdy but polished brown leather boots, matched by his belt, guide him to the floor; never one to just throw something on, is Wesley. The wind of his fall frees his jacket from his sides and his crimson hair from his face, exposing both his eyepatch and the vertical scar across his temple.

Right foot first, Taliman lands with a soft 'tap', bending his knee to absorb his landing before letting his second foot drop, tail fluttering energetically. Right in front of Jade, only the Sword of Death acting as a barrier between them. After a moment of silence, the small-statured demon pipes up.

"Evening."

So that was it then was it? Tali hardly ever bothered to show up unless he had business with someone in the club, which he most certainly did not often have as most people here were beneath him. Even Keno would acknowledge that and stand by it against anyone who tried to prove otherwise, try as they foolishly might. Were it not for Ichi, he very well may never have bothered showing up again himself.

That sword though. The ruler of Orion was not one to often be seen with a weapon, so the fact that he had one this evening could only really mean one thing. That sword though was its own being, very unlike Seinorei...or may be exactly like it in an opposing sort of way. Either way, one would have to be simple not to notice the power it had.

What better way for the girl to learn than to face in unbiased combat with someone who had absolutely no reason to take it easy on her; or even spare her life for that matter. He got the feeling though that the events to transpire wouldn't concern or impress him too much. Though he hated his sour mood, and the fact that he had one only fed into itself, it often made him much more honest about everything than he would otherwise be. He had no reason to spare feelings when he was like this. If he actually bothered to stick around, Jade would have to pretty much kill Taliman three times over to get a compliment out of him.

The focused silence of Jade's mind was shattered by an unfamiliar voice a mere fifteen feet behind her. It took a lot of focus for her not to swing the blade out of instinct, even though he was safely out of intial reach.

Jade blinked for a moment, focusing on the young man behind her. Her eyes rolled to the right side for a moment, as though listening to something. "Did you call to me earlier...?" Her voice was apollogetic, and a bit unfocused.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear-"

The girl suddenly winced violently and turned back the way she was facing, her eyes widening as Shinorei itself crashed only a few feet from her. She didn't even notice that some tile shards had tried to cut their way through her leather pants and tanktop. She stumbled a few steps away from the monsterous blade, fearing it more than anything else. She hated it with a passion.

Her green eyes flew up to see the scarlet figure falling after his blade. Of all things, of all times to see him, why now? Jade gulped in her throat, gripping Seinorei tighter.

The boy behind her forgotten, she kept her gaze on the Shinorei before her, the twisted twin to the sacred blade held in her right hand so tightly. She could feel her anger building up, and it wasn't due to Kirra either. This was purely Jade's wrath. Her words were practically spat at Taliman.

"Evening yourself. The hell do you want...?"

He stepped back a few feet, back to the first step down. Or the last step up, however one wanted to look at it. A rather large blade came tip-first and drove itself into the ground. The girl had begun to say something but had cut herself short as the blade stuck into the tiled ring. Not too long after, a redheaded man dropped from the ceiling. The moment the small man hit the ground, Soneko looked up to the ceiling and noted some rafters that he hadn't noticed before. He trained his eyes back to the small redhead. He noticed a tail flowing behind him, but it wasn't like his own. A fox. Interesting. But he couldn't help but feel something in the sword that lay in between the two. It felt familiar. Not the sword itself, but the vibe coming from it. The Pack Leader was almost tempted to further examine the sword, but thought better of it.

Given the lady's choice of words, the two obviously didn't like eachother. And this meeting hadn't been arranged, given how thrown off the girl was. Soneko took a few steps back. Instinct was kicking in, and it was telling him to back the ******** off. Still watching the two, he found each step easily and stepped down them backwards before turning on his heel and making his way to the stands. Two people. Two swords. That normally meant something was gonna go down. He decided to stay clear of the other man in the stands. Instincts were saying that was a good idea as well. Soneko seated himself and eyed the two in the ring. Sure, he wouldn't be able to find out anything right now, but this could be entertaining. He hadn't seen any fights other than his pack against humans.

"Such sweet lips, filled with such venom. You kiss my brother with that mouth?"

Wesley wears a conceited smile on his face, his eyelid drooping lazily as usual. For some reason he always looks either bored or tired. Not many have ventured to ask him about that. He lifts his eyebrows as he switches focus to the girl's Seinorei sword, blade and hilt together longer than the scarlet fox demon is tall. It looks huge in the tiny girl's hands, but he knows better than to think she finds it unwieldy. Then again, Tali might imagine that he can see the tip quivering in the Saiya-jin's grip. Is it me, I wonder, or my blade, he contemplates with a hint of sadistic delight in his sapphire eye.

The demon lord looks back into the jade eyes of the aptly named monkey woman, for the most part ignoring the fleeing figure behind her.

"Your swordplay getting any better, little girl?"

Stepping forward once and unfolding his arms, Wesley extends his right, clawed hand, gracefully but firmly gripping the curved, rugged hilt of Shinorei. The sword pulses with energy once, filling the room with a distant but palpable dread. There is something very, deeply wrong with this blade. The Emperor holds his ancient weapon but does not lift it from the floor, narrow eye never leaving the girl's face.

"Show me yours and I'll show you mine."

Fight or run. Of course that's all Jade could do and naturally she would, but how would she fare? A holy blade that destroyed evil versus a demon sword that corrupted everything. If he had to guess, Keno would have said that the swords could be used to completely neutralize one another, but if he were wrong, he'd likely side that Shinorei could in the end conquer Seinorei - at a cost. He decided not to guess though. Rather, he wasn't thinking at all. He was little more than a shell at the moment, his mental functions seeming to be on standby so long as he was undisturbed, though truth be told he was very aware of himself and everything around him Shinorei seemed to be something of an intimidating blade, as could be guessed by that display of power that surged through the room. Didn't bother him though. Good was good, evil in turn was evil, but KenoTao was KenoTao and good nor evil would shake that resolve, come what may.

That stranger had made a rather wise choice not to interfere. A wiser choice still not to stay in the ring. Had he tried anything, the feline likely would have directed his frustrations against such foolishness. Since he was out of the picture though, Keno had no reason to pay him any mind.

Taliman obviously hadn't hanged much behavior wise. Always the static one in that respect. You could predict his unpredictability, which was a bit nonsensical but held true nonetheless - you didn't know what he was going to do and therefore knew exactly what to look out for. Didn't really matter. At this point, there was no real relation between the tiger and the fox. Nothing Tali did really pissed Keno off; in fact were it to come down to it, he'd aide the Emperor simply for the sake of his other sister and niece unless it involved Deity, which he long ago resolved to let become what it would. Same would go for tonight as well, although Jade would not benefit any more from it.

Don't disappoint me...

She had to bite her lip to keep from responding with something along the lines of '******** you'. She didn't want to think of where it might lead in a word war. Her green eyes only left the demonic blade before her once to meet with the single sapphire gaze of the short man before her.

Jade still gripped the blade tightly, though there was no reason for it but her own fear. Seinorei was as light as can be in her hand, barely there. Any other time, she'd have run from Shinorei, after her last encounter with it when trying to steal it back from Taliman. Now she didn't even want Deity to be near it again.

The fur on her long brown tail visibly bristled when Taliman placed his hand upon Shinorei, a sense of dread making goosebumps appear on her tanned skin. But despite natural reaction, she wasn't going to let it overwhelm her, not this time. Not this time!

"I'll show you your blood."

Jade ran forwards suddenly, locking her narrowed gaze on Taliman. She pulled Seinorei in close to the right side of her body, her two handed grip next to her chest. The blue blade was held flat in front of her by about four feet to tip, aimed for Taliman's neck. She hadn't forgotten about Shinorei though, and yet still ran forwards knowing that the monstrous blade would be before Taliman.

A surge of something hit Soneko pretty hard, though it didn't phase his body. It knocked something into gear upstairs for a moment and he almost thought he might have remembered something, but whatever it was, it vanished in a split second. Shame...He had gotten all excited, too. The girl's words snapped him back to reality, though. Soneko hoped for her sake that she could back up her words. And then she was moving. And was swinging the sword a the short man's neck. Trying for a lethal shot right off the bat. There were some pretty high strung tensions around here.

He would honestly have to put his money on the fox, though. The way he carried himself, and how sure he seemed in his capabilities. Not to mention that the sword he weilded seemed like a fascinatingly powerful object.

Wesley grins wider, baring his fangs like a wild dog confronting another. The Saiya-jin moves in with her sword, and the demon tears his from the ground, swinging it straight up as the sacred blade moves in to stab his throat. The dark blade of Shinorei strikes the weapon of it's enemy with a spark as it flies up, forcing Jade's sword tip up into the air. Wielding his thick blade with only his right hand, Taliman spreads his feet further apart, lowering his center of gravity as he brings Shinorei above his head, rotating it behind him and down to his side as he would swing a lasso.

Lowered as he is, the overlord uses this countercockwise rotation of his sword to slice horizontally toward the girl's left side, between her knees and hips. A heavy blow, though not the fastest, counting on Jade's recovery time to be slower after the deflection of her attack.
