Lauren was about to ignore Asmodeus but he had done something to her. Feeling healthier she turned to look over her shoulder at him. "Of course," she rolled her eyes since she should have figured he didn't do it to help her. Crossing her arms annoyed she then froze when Asmodeus spoke of Rainick breaking a crime. "Asmodeus!" She was about to argue about the situation but it was to late for that. Sure he was stronger than her but her thoughts went to <******** him. Stepping forward while the others backed away she attacked. It might be stupid but she felt she needed to do something. Using her powers, since Asmodeus had healed her briefly, she lifted her hands and a bright light shot out of them knocking Asmodeus back. Turning to Rainick she grabbed him even though her hands were shaking she willed herself to hold on to him. "We need to jump away from here." Figuring if Rainick and her left Halco, Dusk and Alex would be fine since Asmodeus had accomplished what he wanted. Worried not for herself but for Rainick since they had just talked about him not wanting to remember any of his past..

Asmodeus laughed when Lauren attacked him. "thanks for that dear, there was this itch i just havent been able to get at for a while now, i dont know what you did, but that hit the spot perfectly. though it did tickle a little" he then just proceeded to watch rainick suffer.


Rainick, still clenching at his head with one hand, the other pulled away from his head in a motion that suggested he was going to snap . "that may have tickled, but this wont." the hand then continued through with a snap, he disappeared from Lauren's arms, reappearing in front of Asmodeus slamming a fist into his face, sending him flying backwards towards the manor, as he flew back he broke through a tree, it landing on it's side as Asmodeus continued on. Rainick then snapped his fingers again reappearing behind Asmodeus. He slammed his fist into Asmodeus's back and sent him spiraling into the air. once more he disappeared and reappeared in front of where asmodeus was heading up in the air. Another bone cracking fist to the face sent him back towards the ground helplessly as Rainick disappeared one final time in front of everyone once more with his arm held straight up, hand open as Asmodeus landed on his hand back first,dead center of the spine, a blood curdling crack could be heard coming from his bones. he dumped him on the ground "Through my veins runs the blood of your father, and in my words lye his power, through this fake proxy body of yours i can issue commands to you that you cannot disobey, now i want the real you, to leave the room, head down the hallway to your vault, and take your portion of the demon slaying sword. then run yourself through, and cut yourself a twain."

Asmodeus choked out a few words "without the seven pieces of that sword combined with the core of the original you have, it cannot slay a demon lord such as me." but as he said that, blood seemed to spray from the midsection of the so called proxy body as if it were truely run through, then the cut spread as if beign sliced in two, and the body shattered into dust.


Rainick smirked "no it wont kill you, but it will keep you at bay for a long time, and i bet it hurt like hell." he then fell to his knees, clutching his head once more, he looked to Lauren "with the proxy dispatched off he cant dismiss his magic, you have a few hours until you go back to the way you were....i need you to use that time for me.,," he pulled a sword from the lining of his trench coat. "i need you to take this and kill me while i hold up a barrier in my mind, because if i die without a barrier holding him back, he will be set free, but so long as i die while a barrier is in place, both of us die."

Alex looked back at Dusk "this girl with you, she is a partial demon, correct. because that would explain her reaction to all of this, i as a full demon can sense everything fully, but i also have a resistance to it all because im a full demon. she is a partial demon, she can sense it mostly, but she doesnt have much resistance to it...obviously. she needs to get away from this as soon as possible, this isnt just something she can feel, it's actually hurting her mind...though with Asmodeus gone...well that may help. im assuming by the way you went to protect her, this is your new girlfriend....i have many questions for later, especially as to how you got someone half your age, but it's best if you get your girlfriend the hell away from here now."

Halco nodded after Alex explained things, then he turned to dusk and sweeped her feet out from under her with one hand, while the other caught her back so he was holding her bridal style. he then ran away from the current scene, towards the manor, dodging around trees, just hoping that things were getting better the farther away they got. "it's ok, im going to get you away from all this, even if it kills me...i should have known that someone like him had something unimaginable planed, i should have trusted the way you felt about him, as much as i missed my friend, i should have turned him down, this is all my fault, im sorry."

Adrian chuckled at Dani wiggling her butt at him. Liking her lips since he had the urge to bite it. Getting up he stretched and unbuttoned the top two buttons on his shirt and rolled his shoulders. He felt good and he was about to hunt his mate which got him wanting her even more. Standing there he counted to twenty then took off after her catching up quickly while he sniffed her out.

Le turend her neck once he bit into it again. Though when feeling his hands on her she shivered and looked at him. "That's cheating," she nibbled on her bottom lip and chuckled.

John smirked and kissed him on the lips. Though at the mention of later he shrugged, "I can give you little samples of what you will have for later."

Lauren only flipped Asmodeus off since she didn't even want to bother speaking to him. "Rainick?" Stumbling when he disappeared from her arms she turned to look at Asmodeus to only see him flying backwards. No clue why but watching Rainick fight was kind of hot. Idiot focus she watched silently since Rainick had everything under control. When Asmodeus disappeared she ran to Rainick and fell to her knees in front of him. Nodding her head when told that her health would be fine for a little while longer but when he spoke of her helping him she gave him a look. Looking at the sword then at him she looked pissed off. "No!" She glared at him, "Do I look like the heartless type to kill the person that I care about?" She moved her hand over it and knocked it away from him with her power. She was annoyed but she needed to focus on helping him. "How do we put the barriers back up?" Sure she could think of it as this is the opportunity for him to drink more but it wasn't something he wanted and it seemed lit it wasn't a smart choice. "I should use the rest of my powers to do that instead of kill you." Looking up at Alex she smiled at him since it was good to see him. "You should have left with them not unless you know of a way to fix this." Lauren looked back at Rainick waiting for him to lecture her.

Dani moved as fast a she could through the trees, and for a while there she was beginning to think that head start was enough, but it seemed just as that thought crossed her mind she could feel him catching up. Forcing herself faster, just fast enough to keep out of his reach, as she began weaving through the trees like a rabbit from a wolf.

Damian smirked, moving to lick the shell of her ear. "I told you I wasn't feeling nice" he purred, practically hissing the last word as he dragged his nails roughly against her skin, before moving a hand down her side to hook her leg up on his hip, giving her butt a rough squeeze while he was at it. "Or do you want me to play fair?" he asked, arching a brow, as he moved to kiss her neck where the bite marks overlapped.

Zander smiled, pleased with the simple kiss on the lips, feeling his cheeks only grow a fraction darker "Who knows when those samples will be too much for the public" he hummed, knowing very well that things could escalate quickly, but he dint mind

As they moved farther and farther from the scene Dusk found her mind clearing up quite a bit, but there was still a defined pain she found herself incapable of describing. It was like the fire was out but the embers remained. All the while it seemed like something had singled out that demon blood in hers and flicked the on switch, something which she was trying to fight as it became evident when Halco moved to sit with her in his lap, her eyes seeming to flicker between the average blue of normalcy and that demonic glow. "Ha...Halc-...o" she breathed, unsure at first when he bore his neck before the urge to bite became overwhelming and she gave in, biting into his neck all the while clinging to him.

Aeris smiled "It's..." Aeris paused then nodded "Yea it is possible .But i can show you how to cook if you like " Aeris smiled that all she really wanted she didnt like seeing other so upset ."Well,I stand by what i said Xavier." Aeris blinked the pondered it for a moment then said"Xavier,the "light" that you speak of is in everyone.It just if you embraces it a new way of seeing things .Just because your not in the heavens anymore doesnt mean you aren't a Heavenly Being."Aeris sighed then an idea came to her "Take me an my race for example.me being a vampire you would expect all of us to be blood sucking monster.but im not ask you can see im a priestess an nothing like were made out to be. good an bad is a choice it's who you are." Aeris looked at Xavier in the eyes an said "An you, aren't so "fallen" as you belive.An not everthing is always as it seems .it all how you wanna see the world"Aeris had a grin looking at him"now why i make some food,foreveryone."

Halco grunted as Dusk finally bit into him. he wrapped his arms around her, still just hoping he was doing the right thing, the demonic glow seemed odd to him, but there was nothing he could do...or was there. he snapped with one hand, A black fire spreading on the floor in a square shape, then at the sides, walls of black flame rose up until even a roof of flame was added, then at once it all became solid, adding thick walls of a magical flame in between them and the demon's presence.

Rainick sighed looking up at Lauren "there may be truth to your words, my will is beyond that of near all others. yet still i cannot fight it forever, even i will break eventually....." he stood up "i...i need to go, i will return, i must meditate in peace, im going to the peak of Everest. you will see me again in time, but i must work to extend how long i have, so that i can find another way to fix this." he knelt back down to Lauren and kissed her on the forehead. "thank you for reassuring me when i thought all was lost, i owe you a great deal, now i need you to go back to the manor and rest before the magic wears off, you will need to be back to full strength soon, because i may need your help again in the future." he snapped his fingers and a small wooden disk appeared in his hand, it had intricate carvings on it, and it gave of a calming feeling, he handed it to her "here take this, it is a healing charm, if you place it under your pillow before you sleep it will help speed along your recovery, by how much i couldn't say, but it will help." he looked to alex "i need you to escort Lauren back to the manor, i cant say for certain when the magical effects will wear off, so make sure she gets there." he then smiled and snapped his fingers again, this time disappearing.

Alex looked to Lauren "well whatever you said to him, it certainly seemed to give him hope again, now what was this about a wedding, hal is getting married...i take it your relationship with him didn't stick then." he looked towards where Lauren had started walking earlier, he really didn't know where they were, seeing as he wasn't alive when his body was buried out here, so he didn't actually know which way the manor was. "lets get going before you start dying on me, carrying you would be a pain, especially since if you go unconscious i would have to carry you in flight just to be able to find the manor by myself"


Xavier looked to Jeannine with a chuckle "you talk as if you have managed to do these things, are you saying you cant cook, maybe one day i should show you....hmm were just working up a list of things to teach you now arnt we." he looked to Aeris with a small chuckle "oh no trust me im a fallen alright, i remember the fall, several thousand feet to the ground, making a crater, where Jeannine managed to find me, and breaking many bones until the resident doctor Rainick healed me. now as for your race, i would never think of any as a monster, no race is, it is the person that falls to the temptations, but angels...we change when we are no longer linked to our divine lord anymore, but enough of that." then when she spoke of cooking for everyone he raised an eyebrow "umm..." he then looked down at the food he was already eating, food he had just spoken about cooking, then back up to her "i kinda already cooked our meal...infact a few moments ago i asked if you wanted to join Jeannine and i for the meal i had prepared....there is certainly no need to cook more food."

Dani heard the growl behind her and felt a shiver of anticipation run up her spine, she almost stopped then and there to tackle him, but she kept her feet moving, seeing his house coming up,picking up the pace while calling over her shoulder once more just to provoke him to come faster "Slow poke~"

Damian smiled, pleased by her reaction to what he had said letting his hand ghost under her shirt pinching and scratching here and there. "How else will i know how to please you, hmn?" he cooed as he continued teasing her, fighting a smirk when she called his name "Yes?" he asked in an oh-so-innocent tone

Zander gave a light nod as they grew closer to town "Yeah, me too" he agreed softly popping up to place a quick kiss on John's lips, biting slightly as he pulled away. Being able to do this, to go out with the playboy into town, it made any potential worry wash away.

Dusk seemed to cling to Halco for dear life as she drank from him, closing her eyes, focusing on his blood rather than the nagging nervousness that seemed to pull her from herself. Feeling that presence weaken Dusk opened her eyes, taking note of the dark walls surrounding them, It helped her get a grip on herself once more,breathing slowly through her nose as she slowed her drinking, only to feel the presence fade even further after a few moments, later allowing her to properly regain focus, though the residual effects were still there as she retracted her fangs, continuing to cling to the other as it finally became apparent that she was shaking when she called out softly once more "Halco".
