((Just busy with work, mostly.. haven't had the free time to get on aside from check messages, get updates on some donation item prices.. that kind of stuff. I usually wouldn't stay on for more than 5-10 minutes every week or two. sweatdrop ))

Valin blocked with his lightsaber which would hopefully hold that ice rod steady long enough for his next trick to be performed. Red wanted to see Valin not goof off - here it was. He tapped into his Force awareness and decided upon a powerful Force technique known as Malacia. He spread the Force throughout Red's body, influencing her mind and organs alike to induce incredible dizziness and nausea.
To the weak, this effect would completely and utterly incapacitating. Valin wanted to test her, as well. So let's see how she handled that. Just as he performed his Force technique, he drove his blade up and away to seperate them from one another.

Well he wasn't adverse to playing cheap. There was nothing wrong with that really, although she had morals against manipulating people herself. Mental attacks were bad enough, but the fact that he was manipulating her mind and body to induce something similar to nausea was completely new.
Not being one to generally deal with nausea, she had no idea really what to expect from it, but dizziness she could handle as it was related to the fluids in one's head and fluids was her specialty.
Speaking of which, she decided it would be a good time to show Valin just what she could to do to his insides without touching him. Focusing carefully, and letting him have his space as she resumed a more prepared battle stance, she targeted the very blood coursing through his veins, the acid in his stomach, and the liquids in his brain, so that she might send them all racing at once. He'd experience dizziness of course, and his stomach would be doing back flips, but she was unsure herself of what might happen if more blood flooded and escaped her heart than was normal. If he could resist that with the force though, she wouldn't find out anyway.

This was unpleasant. To say the very least. His stomach and dizziness he could deal with. You trained yourself at the Academy to such things, especially being disorientated and dizzy. But you're blood being moved around like crazy? It was his body was falling asleep at random spots every few moments. Pins and needles everywhere. However, Valin did not let this stop him.
The Jedi knew much about pain. The Yuuzhan Vong torture rack was specifically made to teach them and their captured about pain. The living biotech 'Embrace of Pain' brought you along in a sea of searing white agony until you could barely live anymore - and then it stopped, let you heal up, and continue. A few hours of this turned normal men insane. Valin survived for a full week.
He pushed it out of his mind as best he could and focused his attack. He closed the distance between them and attacked. He swung the blade forward in several short, quick strikes. They were all aimed at her general chest area. He wanted to catch her off guard. He hoped this bought him the right moment, as he attempted to grab her with his machine hand and throw her across the room.
