General Titanite
HP: 100
Action: Sneak-attacking Benitoite
Damage 1d10 + 7 (rank) + 5 (faction) [ 9 + 12 = 21 damage to Beni's FACE]
Location: B4

Ten years. General Titanite had been a member of the Negaverse for a whole decade. When Marthozite had recruited her into the Negaverse, she had thought that this was how she would live her life. She had seen a future. She had been promised that she was saving the earth, and that she was going to be helping protect from an invasion of monsters that wanted to take the world for themselves. His charisma, and his zeal, had made Shahar long to serve at his side- and his pretty face (well, pretty to her, anyways) had not hurt the Negaverse’s case any. She had always been weak to a pretty face.

She had arrived in Destiny City to the almost immediate news of General King Marthozite’s death, and from that moment on she had been… lost. Cast adrift. It turned out that she had believed in him, not this nebulous mission. And his death at the hands of one of their very own, a half-youma, who had devoured his starseed… it stunned her. It horrified her. He had been a General King, and in the end, he had been nothing more to their Queen and their leaders than MEAT.

And when she actually began to meet members of Order, it became even harder to remember why she fought.

Anakeion. Alphard. Odainsaker. Cadmus. Caliban. Lepus. Red- Kairatos. Morgan. Guinevere. Nether Wallop. Pasithee. Gelria. Irkalla. Itsuki. Voyager.

Names and faces of people who she had met who had all, in their way, horrified or impressed her with their conviction, made her laugh. People who had dragged her out of her apathy more than any General she had worked. She had wanted to help them. She wanted them to survive. Aliens they might be, but they were more human, at times, than many of her own that she had met.

She had served, and she had been rewarded. Performing the bare minimum, receiving the bare minimum. She had shut herself away from others on her side, and even now, she could only say that she had lost faith even in the beginning. You do not get attached to a pet goat, or a calf, for they were only food to serve their masters. And she, like her fellow Negaverse agents, was only food to serve Metallia’s needs. And as disorganized and helpless as Order could be, at least they were more. They were not masters of their own destiny, perhaps, but they were wild, and free to fight back against their slaughter.

Until now.

The plan was horrific and seeing so many members of Order trapped like fish in a barrel, like fodder being herded to their demise- it paralyzed her. She stood there, still and frozen as the senshi and knights struggled against their fate. Who did she know here who would possibly die on this night, never to return? Was Cadmus here? Was Lepus? (Did Lepus remember how to punch? Had she made sure her allies knew?) Was Irkalla there, or the painfully beautiful Pendour? Was Red somewhere in this mess, protecting his lady love?

Every blow struck made her flinch, and she stared across the field. Lieutenants near her seemed eager, and the energy of their General Sovereigns stole across the field. Oppressive. Terrifying. And she felt as much a prisoner as the members of Order in their little barrel.

The generator’s explosion woke her up, jerking from her trance, and she stared to see what Order had accomplished. It had taken many of them, and it was taking its toll, but their defiance was a light, and a call. Even in these odds, it said, See how we choose to shine.

I'll be moving out to help and lend support to another team.

“No.” the sound of her own voice scared her, making her jump, and she stepped forward at last. Ignoring Arsenopyrite, punching the nameless, faceless lieutenant who reached out to touch her arm in confusion (they hit the ground, unconscious, and she stepped over their body with long, armored legs), Titanite moved at last, shoving herself in Benitoite’s way. “No, you are to be staying right here. Our Order companions are not done with you, General.”

And then she punched him (aiming, of course, for the face) with her spiked, armored glove; later she would proudly tell anyone (if she survived) that it was with perfect form.

Quote:
General - Her weapon is still her gloves. The magic on her gloves is now a saltwater effect- when she scratches the enemy, making a wound in skin or in fuku, the ensuing cut gets cold and damp, and on flesh feels like salt being rubbed into the raw skin. This is a minor effect, but as she has a light weapon and can theoretically make several cuts in a 'round' due to the spikes on her gauntlets, it can become very painful for the enemy very fast.

Name: Super Sailor Noctua
HP: 61
Action: Throwing hands at Adria
Damage: 10 + 5 (Rank) = 15
Location: B4

When I was a general

A wicked little laugh bubbled up from Noctua's chest and slipped from her lips, bubbling the blood into a pink foam. And a traitor as well. His heart would taste especially good, in that case. Noctua decided as she stood there pointing to him like she was physically flagging him as a target, that he would be the accident that happened during the battle. The once-in-a-million chance for accidents to happen.

And then the generator fell. Noctua whirled to Benitoite for her next orders. He was moving, and she would move with him. But not before she finished her business. After all, she had the sweet task of finishing off her general's mark. And so she balled up her bony little fist and sent it into Adria's jaw.

Name: Commander Cydfae
HP: 100
Action: P A N I C colm
Damage: ---
Location: D6

Cydfae had known this would happen. She had been briefed on the plan and the intentions and everything else. But knowing and seeing were different concepts. And when Lyndin ripped out Cadues' heart, despite her purposefully not allowing herself to bond with the Prince, she felt her resolve shaking. His seed... she'd never seen something like that before. It was like a cancer had attacked it. But then again, she supposed it rather had. Just not a natural kind of cancer. Her uncertainty was visible in the furrow of her brow. The slack in her shoulders. The fear in her eyes.

Around her, the din of battle scarped at her nerves the way it hadn't ever done before. Then again... she'd never been in a battle like this before. Not with so much at stake.

So much at stake.

Everything was at stake right now, wasn't it? So many long years of wandering and scraping by. All of it for this. A chance to go home. Finally.

She returned to herself. She steeled her shoulders. Tightened her grip on her sword. Locked her eyes on the humans before her.

"I won't attack you if you leave now. But you will have to cut me down if you want to stop us."

And then she cocked her head to the side and with tremendous volume she called to the cadet in her vicinity making terribly bad choices.

"Cadet Nessaela. I swear to Valencia herself when this is over you will wish I would just dismiss you from service."

Name: Squire Lourdes
HP: 60 - 15 - 15 = 30
Action: PANIC colm P A N I K and attacking Faustite (Which is probably a bad idea)
Damage: 8 + 5 (Rank) + 2 (Faction) = 15
Location: B6

Lourdes had not, in fact, considered the possibility that someone other than the senshi before her would hear her taunting and, subsequently, attack her. And so went the magic struck her she cried out in pain and shock. She knew the magic was just that -- magic. She knew it was illusionary and would leave no lasting marks. But still, she could feel the night air ghosting along her now exposed flesh and she had to fight the urge to cover and apply pressure to a wound that was not there.

Until a voice stole her attention.

She froze, her blood running cold in her veins.

He looked different now, of course.

Worse.

Can you hear me? How about now?

It took her a moment to recognize the black moldering piece of meat in his claws, but when she did, her hand instantly and without her knowing flew up to clasp the ear that Harmonia had regrown. Was it getting hot? She felt it begin to itch and she furiously scraped at it until blood welled and clotted under her nails.

He'd seen her.

He'd recognized her.

And that made Lourdes quake with fear. If he knew her, he could mark her. If he marked her, someone could come and take her back. She knew about forced corruption. She knew a General Sovereign could easily drag her kicking and screaming into the void. She knew... she knew...

Panic screamed to life inside her and escaped her lips. It ripped itself from her throat but it also propelled her legs, sending her careening into the monster from her past, her staff brandished like a bat.

Name: Beta Leporis
HP: 50 - 25 - 8 = 17
Action: Sobbing over Alpha Leporis
Damage: ---
Location: F4

Alpha had tried to shield her, but she wasn't fast enough. The officer hit Beta square in the chest and knocked the wind out of her, the same way the wind had been knocked out of her sister. She sagged in her arms, weak with lack of air. And still, Alpha held her close as she recovered, trembling with Beta as they both tried to just survive. And to make matters worse she had only just gotten her barrings back, an electric shock sent them both hurtling forward. Again, Beta's breath was stolen from her, this time by the weight of her sister landing on top of her.

"Alpha," she finally gasped. "Alpha get off me."

No answer.

"Alpha?"

No answer.

Beta heaved herself up and tried to get her sister's attention but... she wasn't moving. She was breathing but... only shallowly. Fear pulsed through Beta's body as she shook her sister's shoulders, crying out her name.

Name: Page Agrippa
HP: 50 - 7 = 43
Action: Attacking a generator, going to Mizuki, and crying about Ganymede
Damage: 2 + 3 (Rank) + 1 (Faction) = 5
Location: F2

Agrippa hadn't been expecting to be attacked, which she supposed was dreadfully silly. However, because she wasn't expecting the attack, her pained wail was mingled with notes of surprise and confusion. She'd been cut. Deeply, but the feeling of it. She could feel a gash being ripped open along her flesh, and cool air rushed in where her dress had been mangled as well. She staggered to the side from the agony and pressed her hands to her side to stop whatever bleeding there might have been.

She was crying. When had that started? God, for the first time she wished she'd never found that stupid, useless, silly, little decanter. She wished she'd never powered up in the first place. She wished that she'd stayed home when Lyndin called instead of coming out where she had been a fool to assume she'd be safe.

She had to assess her wounds. It took a moment of frightened sobbing to gather her nerves, but she needed to see how badly she was truly wounded. Carefully, shakingly, she pulled her hands away from her wounds and saw...

Nothing.

The next sound she made was a bark of laughter, more for the lack of any other reaction. She was safe. Her side throbbed, and she knew she'd feel achy in the morning, but she was alright.

And so, with renewed vigor and the senshi now moving on to other victims, Agrippa took her chance. And it just so happened that yes... rocks were the best she had. And so she lobbed another at the generator before a cry of magic caught her attention. A child by the looks of it, only barely an adult in the eyes of the law, scrambled around on the ground and around to safety. Agrippa would be a monster to not offer her aid.

"There now," she soothed, trying to cover the senshi with her own slight form. "There now, it's alright. I'll protect you."

It was then that light; clear beautiful light caught Agrippa's attention. She followed the source, wondering if day had broken suddenly, and took a moment to realize what she was seeing. Not light but... energy. Pure, clear, clean energy, flowing from one source to another.

From her princess into a senshi.

"My lady," Agrippa breathed, tears stinging at her eyes.

Page Voyager
HP: 50/50
Action: Deciding on a decision
Damage N/A
Location: C3

It appeared that his new friend and a couple of the others decided that they weren't going to follow Lyndin's orders, however it did make him feel a bit sad for them. If the aliens were to win, he doubted that the aliens who went against orders would be treated well.

He gave them a small smile. "Thank you. I understand this is a hard decision. I wish I knew what your Commander was thinking." He would have said more, but it appeared that the aliens were headed toward protecting their King. And in Lysvi's case, trying to understand what was going on.

He grimaced for a moment. He wasn't ready for this as a Page. He wanted to avoid using his precious hands for a fight. Finding projectiles would have to be the way to go and for once he was feeling frustrated. He wanted his magic already. What more did he have to do to earn it? For the first time he was... not happy with his situation.

But with all of the disorder around him, he couldn't dwell on those thoughts and feelings. He nodded to the aliens that were still there. "Stay safe you two. No matter what."

Cadet Daesva -- Blaster Weapon
HP: 45 - 30 15
Action: Attacking Cristobalite
Damage Base: 1 Rank: +3 4
Location: F6

It was supposed to be an honor to be part of the Vanguard. A chance to further improve one's self, and serve their people. Daesva always had enjoyed the concept of a fight, though on their peaceful, serene world, such things weren't really... possible. When she had the chance to join the Vanguard, she leapt for it. When the mission to Earth was announced, her whole body had thrummed with excitement. A chance to fight, a chance to do something.

That was the funny thing about going from research and training, into the real deal. Nothing really quite prepares you for the reality of death. Not... the deaths she'd seen at home. Knowing their starseeds were safe, returning to the Cauldron. Knowing they would meet again someday. Knowing their bodies would be returned to the world, nothing wasted, and the cycle would continue. Existence. Life. Would continue.

Somewhere, she registered the Commodore was committing treason, and the King's starseed did not look like how she'd heard starseeds look. That something was wrong. Broken. How was he alive? She also registered Caedus was supposed to be their senshi. The thing they so desperately needed for their world to survive, to be whole. Why didn't he fix their world? Why had they needed to come here?

The blasts from the generator had sent Daesva to her knees, pain blooming through her skull and limbs. By the time her vision had cleared enough and she lifted her head, she'd realized one of the cats was... not okay. And an agent was over Caerynn, who'd... tried to protect the cat? Attacked the generator? Something. Both?

But the agent wasn't just teasing Caerynn. Wasn't just mocking her. A roaring sound burst in her ears as green eyes stared, unbelieving, as the human lifted her foot... and slammed it down against the Velencian's head. The sounds didn't want to register in her brain. They were sounds she'd never forget.

When the agent's hand dipped into Caerynn's body, Daesva was only aware of a loud buzz in her ear. A screeching. She didn't realize it was her, even as she scrabbled, so awkwardly, to her feet, her blood frozen to see the tiny, fragile crystal, being held so delicately in the monster's hand. "Rynn!"

Even in death, she knew she'd see people again. That's just how it worked. It was sad, horrible to be parted, but they'd meet again someday. That's just how it worked. She might not recognize her, or maybe Daesva would no longer be Daesva herself, either, by that point. But they'd meet again. Maybe when they did, they'd see rain on Velencya. Be as annoyed with it as the humans were. Maybe they would see cats there.

The tiny, beautiful crystal shattered. And Daesva did not register that the blurring in her vision as she slammed her shaking, trembling fist towards the agent's face (Cristobalite) was not so much from burning rage, but tears.

Meninx, Page of Mars
HP: 25/50
Action: Attacking Generator
Damage 6+3+1=10
Location: F4

Meninx wanted to attack the Negaverse Agent that just hurt him like that, that just made his skin crawl, made his heart stop.

His muscles had all gone rigid and for a moment he lost his vision, but–he was still here. Still with purpose. Still confused, and not sure what was going on, but more confident now than ever that he needed to keep fighting.

…He already felt like he was ready to collapse, though.

All that training, all that practicing.

It didn’t mean anything when compared to people like Ashanite.

Action: Attacking Generator with magic
Damage 9+5+5= 19[out of Knight Magic]
Location: F4

Pain was not foreign to him, but in this instance Mamertine could not understand it. He didn’t see it coming, he only felt the electricity bubbling up, burning.

For a few seconds, he recoiled. He felt the breath knocked from his chest, he felt the electricity seize him.

And then, he let it move him.

He glowered at the generator as he attacked again; if any one General could summon that type of energy from it…

He didn’t want to know what else he could do with it.

HP: 46
Action: Pulling a Tuxedo Mask on Titanite, basically
Damage: N/A
Location: B4 - B6

It just barely made it in his field of vision, but it was there, right before an explosion knocked him to his a** again. He squinted at the rubble that was left behind.

"Did anyone else see that laser?"

There was still more going on when they were seeing. So many layers he was getting tired of paying attention to it. He decided, for now, to focus on what made sense instead: the Negaverse was the enemy, and they were wrecking s**t, and he should do something about that.

And then, as he thought, a truly beautiful sight crossed his vision.

A truly inspiring sight.

He saw a Negaverse agent punch another in a glorious act of open treason. Beneath the tassels and drapes of his hat, the hint of a smile briefly crossed his face.

"Good hit," Asphodel called to Titanite. "We could hit harder together. Once you've finished here and gotten yourself purified, you're welcome to join my Brigade. I'm looking for all the fellow ex-agents I can find."

Then he dashed away from the fray, towards the generator to the south.

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter
HP: 95 - 18 (Fulgurite) - 10 (Janggunite) - 20 (Maikoh) - 15 (Generator) = 32
Action: Dragging Belmont bodily out of D6 to E5 if he has to.
Damage N/A
Location: E5

Before Sessrumnir realized what was happening, there was a swirling bubble of water that had risen up from the ground to surround him. He immediately took in a breath to hold before the water could cover his face. He looked one way and then the other, before deciding to try and push his way out of the water magic. He didn’t know how long it would last, but given his experience with magic, he couldn’t imagine it would be for very long. Unfortunately for his opponent, he was a skilled swimmer. When the water broke, he didn’t have time to deal with the Corrupt Super.

Instead there was a half-youma and youma that attacked him. He recoiled back and grit his teeth, knowing that the armor he wore only did so much to protect him. He could feel where the bruises across his torso would be, although thankfully he had mail under his now shredded tunic, and there was already blood dripping from his right arm which he’d used to defend himself.

He was grateful to the two Eternals (Alya and Goretti) that jumped in to help him, although he was still trying to catch his breath from the damage he took.

“Thanks,” he muttered to the kid with the dark hair. He would have thanked the blond as well, but he was busy blowing kisses at the youma.

“I’m fine, you’re the one who’s getting beat up!” he then yapped back at Belmont when he tried to scold him for being a target.

The generator blast didn’t help.

Normally he would have rushed forward to try and attack the generator again, but he also knew that Belmont didn’t look great and likely wouldn’t last another blast.

The necklace against his chest pulsed as calmly as it always did, which reminded him to take a moment and think clearly.

“Come on,” he grunted, switching his stormglass to carry in his injured hand so he could grab Belmont to drag him away from the generator and all those who were attacking. “I’ll throw you over my shoulder. Come and help me with my arm,” he tried to coax him, hoping that would be enough.

Name: General Benitoite
HP: 57/100
Action: Being stopped by Titanite's fist.
Damage N/A this post.
Location: B4 heading to B2

Ok, so he was going to help anotehr team out. He got stopped though by a fellow General, one whom he'd seen before but didn't know. He knew she was capable though, she wouldn't be a General if she wasn't, but the words passing her lips didn't make sense coming from her mouth - from a General's mouth. Before he could question it, ask about Order companions, she was striking him in the face.

Reeling back, several steps, he spat blood onto the ground while reaching up to his jaw. He'd split his lip but he might have also bitten his tongue or inside of his cheek, he honestly wasn't sure at the moment which one he'd bitten. His mouth in general hurt. Not only that buut it felt like something had scrubbed harshly at the area,....like sand paper perhaps. It stung and hurt and he was staring up at the General. "Another traitor....order companions..." He understood. She was also a traitor, just like the other two in this group. She was certainly in good company.

He'd get to where he was going but first he had something else to do. His com unit, still in his hand by some miracle, was brought up to his bloody and sort of swollen mouth. "Be advised that General Titanite has decided to side with order. I have her with me currantly." But should she escape he needed others to know. "She is to be brought in and dealt with accordingly." Whatever that would wind up being, depending on if she got away and what else she managed to do.

Already he was stepping up towards her again, not the smartest thing to do, but he would do his best to bring down the officer and make sure she was dealt with. "I'm assuming correct, aren't I General? You're colluding with the enemy and have decided to assist them. While still wearing our uniform." His weapon, having fallen from his hands, had a booted foot slipped under it's shaft as it was kicked up off the ground and into a waiting hand. Gripping it tightly. "I'll see you punished for this."

Cadet Lysvi
Action: This is not what Velencians do. Holding up their phaser and begging for this to stop.
Damage: --
Location: C3 -> D4

Lysvi was in agreement with Yddagen.

A commonality they had found in their research on human children patterns and in their own: twins often seemed oddly in sync, even when they were very different. Yddagen moved to defend their king, and Lysvi did the same. This was wrong. This was too chaotic. This was wrong. They had given their word and hadn't kept it. This was wrong.

They backed up as Yddagen did, keeping their back to Caedus, until something bloomed to life out of the corner of their eye, and Caedus' demand that they all stop was met with Lyndin pressing Caedus up to the machine, with him explaining that Caedus was meant to die, with him extracting a starseed of --

Of their own. Of their own senshi.

Velencian against Velencian, or Velenian against Velenian, a starseed hanging in the air that looked volatile in a gauntlet that reeked of the energy around them, and Lysvi felt their heart wrench. Their grip tightened on their blaster. Was this why Velenia was doomed?

Stay safe, you two. No matter what.

And here another member of the White Moon was telling them to be safe, of all things, and Lysvi bit down on their lip as they choked back the tears of their distress, managing a, "You too, good knight," an echo of a book she attempted to read, before she turned, looked to Yddagen, and promptly bolted right into a place that likely wouldn't keep them safe. Sandwiched between angered members of Order jumping to the defense of Caedus--the Sailor Velenia that wouldn't awaken--alarmed people of the Vanguard shooting at them and trying to reason with Lyndin and --

Their senshi's apparent starseed in Lyndin's hands as the Negaverse attacked them --

And then another knight was saying that this starseed might not even resurrect for another eon --

"Please!" They begged. "This is too chaotic! I thought we weren't supposed to fight each other! We've heard and seen the stories that the Negaverse is bad! What if the knight is right!"

They didn't know who they were pointing their blaster at, but they were pointing it in the direction of the machine in front of them. The machine that one of their own was currently trying to turn off.

Sorry for the mass quote, didn't know who around Lyndin would find Lysvi's shouting relevant fgdf

Shield, please please please don't let this happen, protect-- do something for ******** sake! --but words and will couldn't condense. It was too hot. Fire. Fire. Fire.

She didn't remember dropping to the ground and rolling, enough to smother the bits of flame that licked from the remains of her uniform. Her hood was gone, along with most of her long hair--burnt edges barely brushed the tops of her shoulders. Tattered fabric fell away, leaving her in a broken half-skirt cage, and a body suit with the upper back burnt away.

She definitely didn't remember the electrical shocks that came out, though she did somewhat remember being struck by... something. Fear had welled up. Building on top of her panic and fear. That the people around her couldn't be trusted. They were no better than the fire. Gwen and Hania--no, they weren't better, either. This was bad, bad. Get away, get away. She had to get Alex out of there. Alex-- Arthur-- Alex-- Arthur----

When the last shock hit her, Morgan would have been almost grateful. It made her brain shut off. The brain that had been running around in circles, screaming inside her skull, afraid of fire and unable to understand where her sister was, where her friends were. She was aware of pain, and aware, grudgingly, that she never even used her ******** shielding magic.

She certainly wasn't aware when someone started to pull her the ******** away from all that s**t.

Corrupt Eternal Super Sailor Kamacite
HP: 200 - 14 (from Guinevere) = 186 - 14 (Hati) = 172
Action: Attacking Skoll.
Damage 7 (roll) + 7 (rank) + 3 (magic) + 10 (special bonus) = 27
Location: B6

He was still trying to catch his breath after the generator pulsed. He hadn’t meant to do it then, or maybe he had. He was desperate and when he looked up all he could see and hear was some Squire yelling at him and calling him names. As if he wasn’t used to being called names. He just frowned sadly at her, and hoped that she wouldn’t attack so he didn’t have to do anything in return. Especially with her threatening Faustite.

But there was another Senshi that was rushing forward, the same that had attacked Faustite before. Only this time they used their attack on him.

Kamacite gasped at the sudden silence that fell around him. He reached his arms up to wrap around himself. He couldn’t hear anything. He didn’t want to call out because there was something there, like that monster in those foggy woods.

He tried to keep his breathing even, reminding himself that this was probably just senshi magic. It was nothing. It was going to pass soon. He hoped. Except that he couldn’t breathe, and he lifted his hands to rub at his ears as if that would help to make the silence go away.

And it went away as soon as a Super Senshi (Skoll) decided to throw a punch at Faustite. The Squire from before looked like she was trying to attack Faustite as well. Kamacite would just have to deal with her next.

“Solar maximum!” he yelled, his hands out and aimed directly at the Super Senshi (Skoll).

Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Solar Maximum
There is a brilliant flash of light causing temporary but immediate disorientation and blindness that fades into horribly spotty vision; can last upwards of thirty seconds. Additionally, devices with an electrical or magnetized charge (street lights, phones, cameras, etc) suddenly do not work during those thirty seconds. There have been cases of street light bulbs bursting from the electromagnetic surge. The attack does not cause physical damage and is intended as a diversion or distraction, as well as a hindrance. Has an effect radius of 10 feet (although the flash can be seen as one would see any flash), and can be used three times.

Corrupt Sailor Taenite
HP: 50
Action: Attacking Lourdes again (seriously, lady...)
Damage 6 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 2 (magic) = 11 damage to Lourdes
Location: B6

Drag this ******** place to hell with me.

“You got it, boss,” Taenite flashed a grin at Faustite and aimed an attack at the Squire (Lourdes) that was attacking Faustite. “Fire whirl!” he said with another grin, this time with the flames weren’t as big as they had been before, but he was still working on the magic.

“You really don’t know when to quit, do you?” he growled, his amusement fading when he realized this woman was the same one attacking Faustite before. “You’re a traitor of the Negaverse, aren’t you?” Otherwise, why would Faustite be calling her by what sounded like a mineral name?

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Fire Whirl
Similar to a dust devil, a thin pillar of flames is drawn up from the ground. It is about seven feet high and two feet wide. It can be controlled to move quickly across flat surfaces, but cannot go through obstacles, such as a car. While it is possible to dodge out of the way if quick enough, the heat can still be felt when close as one would feel real flames. While the fire does not leave permanent damage to humans or animals, clothing and objects can be left charred, and the anyone caught in the flames will feel the sensation of burns (up to second degree) until the flames disappear. Players may choose to take lasting damage at their discretion. The magic lasts for thirty seconds and can be cast twice.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Sailor Guinevere of Obsession
HP: 45 - 15 - 15 = 15
Action: Grabbing Morgan and running to B5!
Damage: N/A
Location: B6 -> B5

Her magic had worked, Guinevere was pretty sure--which was not. Exactly. Pleasant, because it just seemed to upset the Super Senshi and made him do--something---and there was an explosion. Two explosions. Fire. And.

Oh, hell. It was all going to s**t, and Morgan was panicking, but then.

She dropped, and so did Gwen's stomach.

"Morgan!" She gasped, eyes going wide, and she bolted forward to grab her friend. She was going to get them both out of there, whatever it took--so she scooped Morgan up to run. Arthuradel! Hania! Stick with me!"

She turned to the Squire that had helped protect them.

"I'm sorry," she said, "thank you for your help, I have to make sure my friend is okay."

And then she ran, to the north.

Belmont, Page of Jupiter
HP: 11/50
Action: Leaving D6 for E5 with Sessrumnir
Damage N/A
Location: E5

One second he was getting hit, the next he was getting grabbed–Belmont was ready to throw fists at whoever touched him, until he realized that it was just Sessrumnir, and he didn’t have to fight for his life. He nearly deflated when he realized it was a friend, but it’s not like there was really much of an opportunity to relax in this square.

“I can keep fighting,” he protested, “I trained. Like you told me to.”

…But he was in over his head and he knew it, and he looked back for only a second at the group that had arrived to help them.

He hurt. Hurt in ways he didn’t know he could hurt.

Sessrumnir was hurt.

So, none of the others really mattered. He hoped the ones that just came in could handle themselves, but…

He had to know how to handle himself. He grunted, but he didn’t fight against Sessrumnir, and even hurried to put some distance between themselves and the attacking Negaverse. “Are you really okay?” he asked, and it was only when he was away from the immediate threat that he realized how dizzy he felt. He was shaking, but–that was just the adrenaline. Probably.

Actually, he kind of fell like he was going to throw up, or pass out, or maybe both. But, he wasn’t dead. Yet. He had to shake his head and tried to stay focused. “What did they do to your arm?”

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Transcendent Eternal Sailor Kerberos
HP: 100
Action: Standing guard! And welcoming Vela into the Order fold <333
Damage
Location: E2

The Corrupt seemed upset Afraid. He was searching for someone--and the description seemed familiar, but Kerberos couldn't quite place it. A General he'd known in passing, perhaps, rather than one of the ones he'd served under directly.

He wanted to help, but there was nothing he could offer that someone else couldn't give better.

But there was something else--something wonderful.

In the midst of all this darkness, a stranger with a strange magic orb brought them all a gift. A Corrupt Senshi who wanted out.

Kerberos couldn't help but grin, giddy and broad.

"Got your back, Princess," he promised. His new magic would serve them well--hopefully it wouldn't hurt Ochre or Vela, though; he needed it to be more discerning than his Eternal magic had once been.

No one moved to interrupt--not yet--but Kerberos was still ready, either to lash out or to offer Ganymede support and energy.

Still, he offered Vela a warm, fond smile.

"Welcome home," he said. "I'm Kerberos--I purified a few years ago. If you need anything at all, just ask, and I'll be happy to help you."

He hoped, briefly, that maybe Ochre would hear these words, witness this sight, and decide that he, too, wanted to be free of Chaos.

That all together, they might succeed in shining a light in the middle of this awful, overpowering darkness. After all, even a candle could piece the blackest night--and they had something much, much brighter.
