Rep sat back a little, out of the way as Jordan moved in to help. He felt like he'd just had one of the worst jumpscares of his life and his heart was still racing a hundred miles an hour. He turned to retrieve Tracey just to do something, anything that might actually be useful. His hands were shaky.
He took a slow deep breath before he looked back, things seemed like they were back under control.
"Nothing hit me." he offered guiltily.

Hearing the zomboil cry out he thought he had failed. He looked toward him, fearful, feeling an irrational surge of rage that the creature had attacked what was his. Even the smile flashed at him did nothing to cool his rage, though it seemed almost irrational, bothering him, but...no, run or attack. And he would attack.
He moved back into an attack position and stabbed with his claws, sinking them in and the small spines catching as he pulled out, ripping open the wound a bit more.

After he felt better about his stance he moved in for a new attack and struck a bit more firmly than before. He wasn't sure what was right or wrong anymore but he was certainly ready for it all to end soon.

"Head wounds bleed a lot," Jordan said, and carefully wiped away some of the blood. "I pronounce you still alive." He returned the lopsided smile. "I'm still freezing and my head's ringing from Ferros screaming from the cold, but I'll live."
He stood again and offered Harrison a hand up, keeping a wary eye out for anything else that might decide to take a swipe.

Billy braced himself as the thing finally attacked, or at least seemed to hit him with an attack.
It wasn't a very good attack though, he felt the same as he had before when the fog rolled off him. Wierd. He seemed to have lost track of Clyde, or wandered away from him. Billy looked around quickly, trying to make sense of the confusion before spotting the boil. He hurried to rejoin him.
Billy is back, he followed Clyde while I was gone.

His relief both at his own well being as well as Yin's was short lived as he watched the weremantis go back to work attacking the creature in front of them. He shambled back forward, throwing himself at the great, rune glowing beast and barreling into it with his shoulder and a growl. He didn't really want to experience the fire that did not burn again, but if making sure that didn't happen meant that he had to continue to try and take the monster down then he'd do what he had to do.
The shock of the impact had him stumbling back, but he was quick to shuffle forward once more, crouching down, ready to attack again.
"Whatever you did...it worked. Thank you. Again." He directed the comment towards Yin, again not even sure if the weremantis was listening, but knowing that he needed to hear it, in case he had any doubts.

Okay, so losing Billy was not the best idea in this chaos. However, it was good that they weren't separated for long. Having someone to watch your back is always nice...though maybe it's just Clyde because the varcolac is pretty horrible with attacking in comparison to his goat friend.

Something inside Sherry bubbled up. Jake's latest words toward her were just as rude and cold as any he'd given her up to know, but now, right now? "Fine," she said simply, attempting to keep it emotionless. Then she turned around and walked away.
Armagnac purred. If she'd had a form she would have been curly around Sherry in some odd show of prideful glee.
"I fully intend to," her hand gripped the glaive tighter.
And then, the beast roared. But not like before. This time, it spit fire at them, too. There was no time to dodge, and defending against fire was, well, difficult to say the least.
The gray flames hit her, and Sherry screamed. It was hot, and it hurt. And then the flames were gone. The heat remained.

It was so nice seeing him make new friends.
He only stared at the witch who was threatening him. Part of him loved to see what kind of tricks she would pull. Deck of cards? Please, he thought she'd do some stupid witchcraft and turn him into a frog or something, though it seemed quite clear he was starting to get outnumbered.
Well... at least that stupid woman stopped spouting nonsense.
"Glady." he muttered to the other hunter. He didn't even WANT to be in this stupid ragtag team. Why was he always dragged into these situations?
Seeing that the witch was able to somewhat restrain the zombie, he slowly stepped back, eyeing her to see if she would attempt anything, before heading off to fight the beast again.
He kept running. If you want me to go back and apologize, then SCREW YOU.
He hadn't seen it until he heard the deafening roar/shriek, which made him freeze in his tracks. And then he felt it.
The pain was unlike anything he felt before. Jake cried out as it felt like he was being stabbed all over. Was he... dying? When it finally ended, he panted, gripping his shirt tightly. There wasn't... any wound? ... Just what the hell happened?

Harrison's screams and sobs definitely had Candace's attention. No! What did that b***h do to him?! She rubbed her back, the real pain gone but the phantom pains still as present as ever, bothering her with the worry that had nagged her as it did any time that particular part of her body was struck or targeted.
Oh good, Jordan had him..he was okay. "I call it an improvement since the last time we were at this place.." Candace forced a smile, recalling when Harrison had saved her and Jerry with his feet just..covered with blood. She was trying to lighten the mood as impossible as a task as that may be. Harrison would be okay. He'd be fine. He had to be okay.
