The servant frowned moving as he followed best he could wanting to break Tala out and to find Jack as he wondered if Jack was where they were taking the Prince.
Rosa moved carefully, hearing them dread filled her and she quickly broke into a run. She had to get out. She had to stop them. She had to free Tala and show them he wasn't a troubled person. "Tala....please...please I'm coming." She whispered picking up the pace before yelping, falling as she stumbled over her own two feet.
Slowly she stood up again and brushed herself off, looking around, sighing glad to not be seeing Arthur and continued her run, racing towards the doors, inhaling and yelling once at the doors racing outside. "META!! Come! We need to save Tala!" She shouted loudly for the beast to come.
A loud noise would come before a large black beast would come leaping over the wall, landing in the gardens and ran over to her where she waited around the doors. When the beast came to a stop she would shiver from the air but ran over to Meta petting him.
"We got to go save Tala. Something bad is going to happen. Come on, we got to head home, my home. I'm scared the black haired man is the Demon Lord in my nightmare." She told the beast, mounting it and if no one stopped them would take off for the gate, Meta picking up on the scent of the other horses that had just left to follow their trail if they got out of the castle grounds without being stopped by guards or by Arthur.

It was hard not to hear the female as she cried out for her steed; A collection of Arthur's guards had been quick to inform the man of Rosa's presence and although he was angry at first, his glare turned devious and he turned to face the captain of his guard. "Let her go, but ensure the guards accompanying our young Prince are well prepared..." He looked towards the sleeping town below and then turned, "Light the fires, we will rally a group to meet them on the trail...perhaps our true highness would appreciate a second gift...?" He chuckled to himself before taking his leave - his intention to inform his 'Lord' of the news through a crystal ball secreted in his quarters... The soldiers would nod as they received their orders, then depart. Splitting up before heading out to begin lighting the fires. Troops settled along the perimeter would see the fires from the hills and know to be on their guard, keeping their eyes peeled for anything coming along the trail...

"Let's go Meta!" She said, holding onto the reins and Meta whined racing off, its holves and claws slamming into the ground as the beast sped off after the wagon, keeping focused on the scent of the horses.
Tala.....please please be safe. Please. I'm coming, just stay safe. Rosa thought, watching ahead for the wagon, not sure how long it would take them to catch up to the cart.
After a bit of time though she heard a noise and started to see a form of a structure moving ahead. "That has to be it. I hope he's okay." She said as Meta whined again, speeding up faster, quickly closing in on the cart.
It was now that Rosa realized she hadn't figured out how to get into the cart. Shaking her head she figured she'd think of something before now. Looking at the cart she moved one hand out, closing her eyes, focusing, trying to summon her power, wanting to protect Tala.
Slowly a small orb began to form, it grew and as she yelped it fired off, exploding into the ground near the rear wheel. Opening her eyes she realized she was off and tried again, taking aim again and started to summon another orb, her mind focused on rescuing Tala.
From the shadows though she didn't see or notice the servant follow that had tried to get close but was unable to due to Rosa's light. Before she could fire the second blast he quick followed the shadows, attaching himself under the wagon, slowly letting himself seep into the shadows to better hide. As he did the second orb of light shot from her hand, exploding on the ground but had missed the wheel but was closer.
She then tried to start forming a third orb as Meta ran and tried to move to help aim her better to stop the cart.

Finding his feet again, Tala had maintained his persistence in trying to escape, he had managed to work his left hand free of one of the chains, but his right proved to be a little harder - even moreso when the carriage gave a jolt as the orb exploded close to the rear wheel... Upon the horizon the troops had gathered now, standing firm in the dark with their eyes set upon the carriage. Initially they had perceived the wagon as the threat, but as scouts spotted the rider and the strange creature upon which she was riding they realised why the fires had been lit and gathered their arms. Silently, they would line up along the hillside ready to attack as the carriage thundered up towards them... Tala had no idea what was going on outside of the wagon, but remained intent on freeing himself from his bindings... Finally releasing his right hand, he set his intentions on removing the shackles from his feet and of course the collar...

Rosa didn't know of his freeing his hands and didn't notice the guards moving but Meta had. Meta snorted, his mane and tail spiking ready to fight and to defend Rosa, eying the shadows and the guards as he followed the carriage.
Rosa focused, releasing the third orb but when she felt Meta's body tense up she yelped and her aim went off focus, exploding a couple bits way from the carriage.
Rosa groaned frustrated and tried to charge a fourth orb, finding it a bit harder, watching the carriage she tried to aim again while keeping the orb forming.
Inside the carriage the servant would seep in carefully, gripping the chains at Tala's right ankle, snapping them then gripped the left to snap it as well, not able to get a hold of the cuffs on his ankles to remove them but could free the cuffs from the chains.
He slowly stood, looking to Tala with his yellow and red eyes. He reached out trying to help remove the collar. "You know there's some lunatic out there blasting at this carriage? She's riding some beast I never seen." He said softly in his rough voice trying to remove the collar.

"...Rosa." Tala had flinched when the servant appeared, he hadn't expected the male to just fade in from nowhere, but was grateful for his presence as he was now free from everything but the collar. "That beast is amazing..." Tracing a finger across the edge of the collar, Tala uttered a spell, feeling a slight pinch as the metal froze before shattering. "We need to get the door open." He was forced to brace himself as the carriage shuddered from another explosion, then, lunging for the solid wood, he traced his hand in a circle as though trying to find its weakness... "Get outside and steady her hand...if you can..." he glanced back at the servant, "If we can get in one good shot, the door should pop open..." At least he hoped so... Some of the guards rode on horses and charged in from either side, weapons drawn and ready to take down the pursuer...They were as of yet unaware the Prince was inside, but stop the Prisoner from escaping was of great importance as the fires would not have been lit for just a common criminal... Rosa would be seen as an ally to the prisoner, trying to break out its companion...the Horzun she rode upon, a black beast from who knows where was easily perceived as a creature of the Dark Lord himself and made things look even worse - for an agent of the dark to attack a carriage with the intention of freeing its quarry would give the impression the Dark Lord was seeking members for his army...and had to be stopped...

The servant watched and nodded. "I shall do my best." He said fading out and looked down spying Rosa's shadow. He carefully attached to the shadow and aimed to the carriage, a little high but when released the orb of light would explode on the carriage, a direct hit.
Rosa yelped as Meta sounded alarm and swung his barbed tail at the guards, snorting and attacked those on the left then right. Rosa looked gasping, thinking they were in line with Arthur and was aiding in sending Tala away to the Demon King or to someone else just as bad.
"I won't let you take Tala and cause him harm!" She snapped at the guards firing a blast at the guards on the right, trying to get them away so she could save Tala. "I won't let you harm him!"
She shouted at them as Meta whined attacking those on the left then right again, picking up speed to try and get away from the guards as well as to try and get closer to the carriage, wanting to catch Tala if he fell out, looking for an opening as the smoke cleared from Rosa's attack.

Tala hadn't expected the attack to hit with such explosive force. He'd only braced himself for a flash and perhaps the door to fall off, so when it came he found himself knocked from his feet and flung back into the interior wall... It didn't take him long to recover and he staggered to his feet before looking out at the Horzun as the smoke started to clear... Meta was as fast as he could remember and a brief glimpse of Rosa gave him some reassurance... Lifting his left hand, he formed a ball of light, it glowed brightly, leaving a luminescent trail behind it as the carriage continued to thunder along the trail. The guards that were pursuing Rosa would lift their eyes towards the light, momentarily mesmerised by the aura - Tala would use this to his advantage and suddenly bring his right hand round, slamming the soldiers with an invisible force that would knock all but the very sturdy from their steeds. "Head for the river!" Tala watched as the riderless horses charged up and past the carriage before forming the thinnest of black tendrils to wrangle one of the creatures as it thundered by. Once it was snared, he made his way to the edge of the carriage and jumped, landing upon the back of the horse before tugging on its reins and forcing it to twist off to the left and away from the trail...

Rosa was going to give the orders but Meta was ahead of her, heading towards the river, following Talas orders and lead. Seeing Tala she felt relief seeing him again safe.
As the pair went the servant cut the ties to the horses and focused, moving the carriage to have it move fast to slam into the remaining guards or to come close to hitting them, trying to buy Rosa and Tala some time to escape.
He would keep up his trying to delay the guards with the carriage trying to keep them back before crashing into a tree, a sharp force struck the carriage from above, pushing the servant out of hiding in the carriage before the form faded with her scythe, grinning as the servant coughed, having had the air knocked out of him coughed and groaned, shaking his head trying to clear it to focus and return to appear human.
This was harder and he tried to clear his mind more, his turning to normal appearance slower than before and wondered if the blow that struck him had anything to do with it, his sinuses feeling flooded by the scent of roses that did not take part to the air that blew.
Hearing the crash Rosa looked back as she rode beside Tala, watching the carriage crash and sighed. "We have to find somewhere to hide. I had a nightmare and I couldn't stay put any longer. I was scared you were in pain." Rosa explained to Tala, worry clear in her eyes and the ease she felt in seeing he was alright but was saddened she didn't see Jack and feared the worse if Jack were found already, not aware Tala had never found Jack yet.

Hearing the collision, Tala glanced over his shoulder and although he didn't see anything, he hoped that the servant had managed to escape unharmed... He wanted to turn the horse back and recover the male, thanking him for all his help, but Rosa was right about needing the find somewhere to hide and with the remaining guards recovering from the final moments of the attack time was limited... Fighting the feeling that something was wrong and he needed to turn back, Tala urged his acquired steed to follow after Meta whom he had allowed to take the lead.

Metal listened, taking the lead and hurried leading the horse and Tala off towards the forest line of thick trees, heading to a very dense area he had found. Slowing down here he would come to a stop snorting and looking to Tala, glad he was safe.
Rosa looked to Tala, Meta moving close and Rosa wasted no time getting closer to Tala and hugging him the best she could. "Oh I was so worried. Are you okay? What happened? Tell me who put you in there?" She said quickly, having a guess but wanted to hear it from Tala himself of who did that to him.
At the carriage the servant slowly started to stand, rubbing his head and realized his transforming to human was going slower than he thought. Quickly he moved out of the wrecked carriage and took off, running to get back into the shadows, looking at the recovered guards as a couple gave chase after him as he tried to get into the shadows to hide.

Dismounting, Tala tied the reins of his acquired horse to a nearby tree before crossing to pet Meta - grateful that the Horzun had been close by to protect them both. He tensed as Rosa grabbed him, but relaxed knowing she was just greatly concerned for him, "It was Arthur." His reply was blunt, but he was more angry at the fact the man had managed to talk his parents into letting him go freely... "He said something to my parents, they were there when I was locked away..." he remembered trying to plead with his mother for his release and had clearly affected her enough to have possibly swayed her decision but with his Father being as strong-willed and gullible as expected, he knew there was no hope... "I don't know what he said, but they were willing to let me go without hesitation..."

Rosa stared not shocked and shook her head, dismounting Meta to hug Tala some more, not able to help herself, so glad to see him again and to see him safe after her nightmare. "We have to get him out. Somehow we need to warn your parents he isn't their ally." she said worried now about Tala's birth parents, not wanting him to lose them too.
"Maybe I could use a light attack on him or something. If he's with the Demon King then maybe he is also weak against light." she said softly, worry clear on her face and in her voice. "I don't want you to lose your birth parents. I don't want you to lose everything."
Rosa said softly, feeling small tears welling up in her eyes and slip down her cheeks, upset that Tala might lose everything and she didn't want him to lose someone else.
Meta looked around, keeping on alert, looking around some, ears moving as he kept watch over them, his mane and tail had calmed back to feeling soft. He moved some, laying down and snorted using his snout to push some fallen branches to wards the middle of them, feeling a cold wind hit and knew even with the dense of the trees that humans could get cold easy and didn't want either of his allies to get ill.

"I don't think he's anything more than human," Tala shook his head, "Even a normal attack would kill him if we could get close enough..." He hadn't taken into account that perhaps Arthur was carrying protection against all with ill intentions towards him, but with the array of soldiers at his command it certainly looked like singling him out would be an advantage... Tala looked across at Meta as the Horzun moved the branches towards the centre of the group, he watched him quietly, then realised that they would need fire before the temperature started to plummet... Lifting his left hand he summoned up a small flame, letting it hover above them before placing some 'Old-Man's-beard' on the pile and setting it alight. It didn't take long for the fire to spread to the other branches in the pile and soon he could feel the warmth working its way around the camp. "I don't feel I've lost anything more than I started with..." Tala could see Rosa was upset, "But that man needs to be stopped before he does anything I'll regret." Although he had been quite aloof to the Queen and regardless as to how little time he had spent with Lyssandra, he had seen how much she cared for him and knew he had to do something to ensure nothing would happen to them... "There's nothing we can do tonight, the soldiers will still be looking for us, but we will rest up and return to the castle tomorrow evening..." He was already formulating a plan in his mind as to how he would seek out the Royals and their servants and turn them against the man, he just needed time to think it over...and perhaps something to eat.

Rosa nodded softly, yawning, feeling the warmth and smiled, loving how it felt. She looked to Tala then at the fire, thinking of sitting next to him but didn't know if he was feeling ready for her being close to him right now or yet.
"Umm....should we sleep separate or is it alright if I were to sit next to you?" She asked curiously, watching him now as she wasn't sure what he'd say. Meta watched and moved his tail pushing the two together, giving a laugh in its own way.
He thought the two made a lovely pair and was finding this fully to play match maker so to speak. When pushed to Tala Rosa blushed looking to Tala blushing more looking down to the fire. "Ummm....is this...okay or...do you want me to move?"
Rosa asked lightly, her voice sounded fluttered as she wasn't sure how he felt being next to her since she knew he liked his space and wasn't used to being touched by others yet. She didn't want him uncomfortable so would move if he needed her to move away so he could have his space.
