She walked slowly down to the pond's edge, glancing at him. She asked softly this time, "Why in the world did you run, Rendo? Running isn't going to help either of you. Especially you."

"Kazuki how I thoguth was my friend didn't want me around, what would be the point?" He just kept his gaze at the water. Then closeing his eyes again, the scents came this time, but in bundles. "They can always find a better scout...what do you mean by, especially you?"He watched her from the connor of his eye.

"Rendo, I'll you the exact same thing I jsut told him. Tribes are our families. And what do families do? They fight sometimes Rendo. No matter how close they are." At this point, a touch of anger tinged her voice. "And how dare you try to make yourself to be lower as an excuse! You idiot, you're the best scout around here, and you know it, so don't go telling me that. Do you honestly think you get to say that you're not the best, that you get to sell yourself short and leave it at that? Because that isn't how it works, Rendo. You don't get to run away from your troubles, you don't get to avoid Kazuki, and you certainly don't get to downplay yourself!" She quieted for a moment, and added softly, "What do I mean by especially you? I mean that you're losing out greatly from this if you don't fix it. You will have lost a friend and your tribe...your family."

Rendo looked down at his mate, surprise at her ferocity in her small body. "...I did heard a saying once..." he looked back up at the sky and said, "It takes a village to raise a child. Wonder if that goes for familes also..." he really ahd to think about the words that she spoke. He never did think he was the best, only that he was a good scout, he was plaining to stay at the lake and figure something out. "..." he thought about her words deeply.

"Think hard, Rendo, but be careful not to take too long in your thoughts. Kazuki, not to mention the others, cannot wait forever." With that, she laid down by his feet. She had nothing more to say unless he talked to her, but remained to be his silent support.

Rendo bent down and licked her ear thankful. "Neather do I..." he said as he stood up and walked toward the moutain with his normal stride.

Anjafey looked up, following Rendo with her eyes. She smiled hopefully; perhaps this could work out.

The closer he got to the moutain the more he wanted to just turn away but he was plaining to stay true to his word. Now he was wishing he wasn't so much like that.

For a moment, Anjafey wished Rendo could hear her thoughts. I will always be here, Rendo..no matter what happens.

Rendo started to climb the moutain slowly, he really wasn't use to this at all.

As this was a personal matter between Rendo and Kazuki, Ari stayed out of it, even though he was sorely tempted to speak at many points during their argument. He was hoping that Rendo would understand that he had made a mistake by making a 'joke' about Kazuki, but he thought that Kazuki might be taking the whole thing a bit to hard as well, seeming convinced that Rendo had some deep seated grudge against him.
Ari shook his head as Rendo left, and then Kazuki went to climb the mountain to pray. Maybe he should interfere in this conflict, after all. It really didn't seem like they were getting anywhere on their own.
But then Rendo came back, and it looked like he was going to go try to talk to Kazuki. Ari approached the base of the mountain, to be close enough to hear what they were saying, so he could interfere, if they forced him to. But he would wait at the base of the mountain, until that point arose.

As he walked by Ari Rendo stoped and stared up he sat down. He knew Ari didn't take things to hard. "Why does he keep saying I have issues? I didn't mean it like that, he best be happy that..." He adverted his eyes, he was mainly comeing back because of Anjafey.

Kazuki was still praying and then stoped. He could hear others below the mountian. He had some time to think and thought maybe that Rendo was just joking. Maybe he was being a bit too strong about since it did hurt to be joked abotu in that manner. He sighed. He hoped the Moon Fox would not be to displeased with him. He better go and get some sort of offering. He began his decent down the mountian when he ran into Ari and Rendo.

Rendo gave Kazuki a look that was calm while on the inside he just wanted to walk away. He watched "Hello..." He didn't say it with much feeling, just a greeting not inted to be bad or good.

Anjafey had moved so that she was just in hearing range; if Rendo acted foolishly again this time, she would be there to put a stop to it.
