Pythia (Breakfast at Tiffany's dress) - metal stake
The fact she now knew the spider's weakness- they were just extra large insects, no special crazy armor... Pythia gripped her metal stake and went to work.
They had ruined her dress, she was going to ruin their lives.
She went after legs and eyes, glaring at the little wretches and bashing them. They poked with their little legs and she poked with the sharp end of her stake, wielded unprofessionally and with all the power of an angry arachnophobe.
Their retreat was a relief, and she did not pursue. Police were on their way, and she was not going to be arrested for- PSSSSSSSSSH. Cold garden water, right in the face.
Dropping her metal stake, Pythia made her bedraggled way out of the maze. This was the worst, and she did not want to have to explain her appearance to Ophira tonight, but she'd bet money that she would. Her mother wasn't the understanding sort, and potentially life-ending events were no reason to look bedraggled.
...... yeah. This was not turning out the way she had hoped, and she left the gardens feeling really.... really.... angry.

Miles Fury Dressed as Nick Fury
The spiders...were blessedly leaving. He didn't care how, he didn't care why. None of that mattered.
What mattered, really, was the police sirens.
Because he was stoned. Because he was a 'black' kid in America. Because he knew better.
Miles got up, dusted cobwebs from himself, and crept the ******** out.

Pandora Sagan Dressed as Wonder Woman
As the spiders began to retreat, Pandora followed them, hoping to figure out where they came from at the very least.
But they were quite tricky and somehow, they managed to lose even a skilled hunter like herself.

Eta, Guardian Meow Something had sounded the retreat for the no good, awful, terrible spiders-- a good thing, because Eta was growing exceedingly weary of the taste of metal in her mouth. "Ptoo..." she dropped the stake as she was scooped into her companion's arms again, lifting herself up against his chest to butt her head lightly against his chin. With the people all gathering closer again, the flash of lights and the sound of sirens wailing in the distance, she couldn't exactly use words to ask him if he was alright... Well, no. She possibly good. If enough people had been bitten by spiders they might think they were simply hallucinating. Not the best idea to test it, all in all. Instead, Eta nestled closer, climbing back up onto Felix's shoulder. "Do we need to stay for an ambulance, Felix, or are you alright? If you're alright we should depart..." If she'd known that Cordelia, Abigail, Lysander and Fritz were somewhere in this mess as well she would have insisted they find them instead; safety in numbers and wanting someone else to look after her newest charge too. As it was, being Fluffy the Arachnid Slayer was a tough job and the small meow was beat.

Felix Smith Thor, with Fluffy the Arachnid Slayer Felix stroked Eta's silky fur to remove bits of webbing and also just because as she cuddled against him and bunted his chin. He waited for her to settle back onto his shoulder and reached up to stroke her chin while the sirens wailed and people continued to react to the spider crisis with varying degrees of equanimity. "No, I'm good. Couple scrapes, nothing Neosporin won't fix. Let's amscray." And with that, Felix made off into the night with his feline companion. [Felix and Eta, Exit]

Rayna Farrell - as Wednesday AddamsRayna was glad to see the spider scuttle over the nearest hedge and disappear from sight. If she ever saw another arachnid in her lifetime it would be entirely too soon for her liking. Coughing weakly Rayna gasped as another wave of nausea overwhelmed her. Unlike the previous times though she wasn't able to hold it back. Although the only option available to her at the time was going to hurt Rayna was not about to thank her rescuers by covering them in vomit. Collapsing to her knees did cause quite a lot of pain but as Rayna's stomach began to purge itself of all she'd eaten before the event had started she was perhaps giving the only kind gift she was able to give back to Toby and Michiko. After her stomach finally settled again Rayna stared at the grass before attempting to stand. When that failed she remained kneeling and startled at the touch of fabric being tied haphazardly around her side. Taking in the sight of Toby now standing without a coat on Rayna could only nod at his suggestion of getting out of the maze. Were any spiders still out there though?

Yuuri Matsunaga
At some point between fighting off a spider that looked like it was threatening to lunge at Adrien and when the sprinklers went off, Yuuri decided that he would very much like to never ever participate in any kind of social event ever again.
Things would be easier that way. There would be no spiders to deal with, no water to deal with, and if he was at home, curled up under some blankets and not having to do anything then he wouldn’t have to worry about his heart pounding as it was and his hands shaking from the stress and anxiety.
Well, at least not as much.
"Can we go, please?" he looked up at Adrien, his voice weak, still terrified of all the things that could have happened to them. Even with his power as a Negaverse Senshi, there was nothing he could do without risking his identity being compromised by so many people. What was the point of having that power if he couldn’t use it?
---
Michael Lyons-Gallo
They were lucky that the spiders didn’t seem to like water, because soon they were all scuttling away, dragging their fallen with them. And that was good for Michael because he could finally place his cranky, bratty husband back onto his feet. The stake Michael had been carrying was dropped to the ground since it was no longer needed, and he turned to head towards the exit, glancing at the cuts and scrapes he’d received from one of the spiders he’d fended off.
He didn’t bother to glance over his shoulder to see if Caspian was following him as he made his way towards the exit, peeling off the robe he wore for his costume and rolling it up into an angry ball. If Caspian didn’t want to go with him, then that was fine. Michael would just see him whenever he decided to come home.
---
Ilian Jones
So these giant spiders didn’t appear to be youma, although with the amount of monsters he’s seen in the city, Ilian wouldn’t be surprised if they were created from the same energy. Still, he was glad when they were gone.
Trying to catch his breath, he plopped down onto the ground, his hands sinking into his overly curly mop of wet hair. That could have gone better. He didn’t like feeling helpless as he did when he was a civilian. He could have easily taken out those spiders with his weapon.
"You both okay?" he asked, not even caring that Seth and Lovely would likely still be at each other’s throats. All that really mattered was that they weren’t hurt. And if they were, then they needed to get patched up and whatever medical attention that was required.
He didn’t want to linger for long, especially if it meant answering questions for the cops, so he pushed himself back up to his feet.
"I’m going to negaspace for a bit. I want to see why there’s spiders attacking people," he said, his voice low enough for both Seth and Lovely to hear. If this was Obsidian’s fault again, he was going to have some choice words for the General.
---
Chris Gallo
Chris coughed and wheezed a bit as the sprinklers came on and the spiders ran, a hand pressed over his chest to try and keep his heart from beating out. He was definitely winded, but was still in pretty good spirits. He would probably end up needing to sleep for at least twelve hours after this, though.
"Well that was fun," he said breathlessly to his wife, smiling serenely in her direction. "Did you want us to help the police file their report? I don’t mind staying if you’d like." Anything that would help, he wouldn’t mind doing.
No longer needing the stake he’d picked up, he set it back on the ground, out of the way from being trampled on.
"Or we can stop by a store and pick up some cake since you didn’t get to have any," he offered.
---
Peter Gallo
Things could have gone a lot better than they had, but they could have also gone a lot worse. There could have been a lot more people injured. Vi or Haven could have been more injured. He was pretty sure he saw Briar around, maybe even Kirra, but he wasn’t sure.
"Are you hurt?" he asked his two friends, shaking his head like a dog to get the water off his hair. Not that it mattered because there was still water coming down. "I wish they would have left one of the dead spiders. I would have liked to take a closer look at it. They might have been youma, but I’m not sure. I haven’t seen so many of the same type of youma before. Until now they’ve all been pretty unique."
As he spoke he sent out a text to a few people. Briar, Benji, and Raleigh, wanting to make sure they were okay. "We should probably put a group chat on our phones so we can get in contact with everyone at once," he grumbled, copy and pasting the message the two times.
Quote: Were you at the Halloween party? There were giant spiders. I’m okay. Haven and Vi with me.

Alphonse Wingates-St. Grey - Exit The creature was felled in one strike. It left him no opportunity to pull back. No chance to second guess himself like he surely would have. "I am sorry, little beast, but I couldn't allow you to injure anyone tonight."He sighed as he dropped to the ground allowing the metal to clink and clang on the ground. His beautiful kimono was now soiled as it draped around him. He looked up and out from the maze at the moon in the sky and wondered what had just happened. Everyone around him seemed to be finishing off their own spiders until there was none left. It was if they were playing a festive game in their costumes if only this had been part of the plan, part of the party. He was only happy he needn't transform. It would be a shame to change from such a pretty kimono. ✪

Toby Yates* (Dressed as (now ragamuffin) Elf Kirito) (Has spike of +1 badass entrances) Toby worriedly waited for Rayna to empty her stomach onto the floor--he was quietly glad she hadn't just done it onto him, or herself. He kept an eye out for more spiders, but...they seemed to be gone? How could that be? No way it was some halucination. His ruined costume, and the wounds of Rayna, were pretty hard to ignore. "You okay, Michi?" he asked the other girl, looking at her properly again now that the spider threat was gone. She looked okay, at least, and he was glad for that. Once Rayna was done retching, he helped her back to her feet. "I hope they're all gone," he said. "I think we can find our way out easily enough now...I hear sirens. I'm sure there'll be people to help you real soon!" He considered where to go, and figured the best bet was probably to navigate back to where they came in...the spiders fled or disappeared or something, so any way was as good as any other, and he had at least some idea where to go in that direction. "Pretty sure we came this way, let's go."

Michiko (Dressed in a messed up black leotard) Michiko sighed and nodded she frowned "Itchy and in need of a shower but I think I'll be alright." She said softly as she followed after Toby. To help Rayna up so they could all get out of here in one piece. She looked around nervously "I hope we don't get attacked again I want to go home." Michiko said.

Fritz St. James
He knew she was scared. He knew he was - not precisely scared, but worried. The panic in his chest had more to do with an inability to protect Cordelia and the others than an actual fear of the spiders; a mess of emotions he didn't want to look too closely at.
And she was afraid.
He hated that she was afraid.
The anxiety pulsed, thick and nauseating; there were too many people, too many around that were too close to him, too many that kept brushing up against him, and it was all that he could do to keep himself steady, in spite of the unpleasantness.
But the spiders were gone. And they were going to be safe.
Fritz, pushing past the feeling in his throat and using every ounce of mental strength that he had, reached out and very gently slid his slightly shaking fingers around Cordelia's. They slid together, skin to skin, and the initial contact made him want to pull back; but he didn't, because she needed him - or rather, she needed something and he was going to at least try and give it to her.
"Come on," he said quietly, and began to step towards the exit, a single, slow step, waiting for her. "Let's get out of here."Steele Moore
She was using her shoe; something that Steele wasn't about to stoop to using, because he had standards, damn it - and besides, these shoes were damned expensive, and he still hadn't finished off paying one of his loan payments, so he wasn't about to use an expensive shoe.
That was for the other class.
Still, he offered her a beaming smile, in spite of the fact that he'd barely resisted screaming like a little girl and running away, which had been a strong temptation. Steele didn't seem to notice Shikora's injury, or if he did, he chose not to look at it.
Frailty, thy name was Steele.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you, thank you, uh - " He cleared his throat. "See? We survived!"Seiana_ZI he's a d**k sry............... Basil Whybourne
He felt his heart give a strange lurch in his chest as Lysander took his hand - which seemed ridiculous, because the only time he had ever felt that peculiar fluttering sensation was when he was around Arachne. And while Basil was relatively certain he wasn't Arachne's only - well, he had no word for what he was, really - Basil himself was not used to feeling differently at all.
And frankly, he didn't want to feel fluttery around anyone but Arachne.
Except that Basil couldn't quite control his heart. And Lysander's hand was very warm in his.
"Oh," he said, looking around them as the sirens started to wail in the distance. His bitten leg gave a throb, Basil's head spinning a little, the bout of dizziness leaving him feeling a little unsteady on his feet. "That's - did you hear that? The spiders are gone."Nathaniel Parrish
The spiders were mercifully gone. Nathaniel dealt with his fair share of bugs and spiders in his daily gardening life, but really, he could have definitely done without ones that were probably about ten times their normal size. And he could have done without ones that were attempting to kill them, or eat them, or whatever it was that they'd been trying to do.
He smiled at Giulia.
"Y'did amazing," said Nathaniel with a laugh. "I'm very proud of you! You were scared, but you still tried your best."
He put an arm around her as she wrapped her small arms around his leg, gently patting her hair in what he hoped was a reassuring manner. Nathaniel gave a little shudder, more theatrical than actual fear, but in truth, he didn't really like snakes, either.
"I don't care for 'em myself," he told Giulia. "I think we're safe now, though. How about we go n' find your - sister? Jada, make sure she's okay?"Archer Wren
His mouth dropped open in a look of stunned disbelief that mingled with an immediate and vicious sense of outright fury. Red burned across Archer's cheeks, his chest tightening, and for a moment, he was utterly speechless at the insinuation.
Lauri and his <******** big mouth.
"You utter ********, that is not what I - "
But the rest of his sentence he bit back with a growl, because here was Kat, towing along a silver haired man that Archer didn't recognize, but gave a dark look, eyes glittering, panic rising in his throat. He did not want them to have seen or overheard any of his conversation with Lauri - that was dangerous ground he refused to tread on.
"Let's talk elsewhere," he snapped at all of them. "Or not at all, I couldn't really care less."

Adrien Davids
He was very much annoyed at the idea of anything ruining his clothing, especially considering how much care Adrien put into his appearance. He was also annoyed at how frightened he was, annoyed that Yuuri was frightened because he didn't like Yuuri frightened, and annoyed that he couldn't power up to act impressive in front of his boyfriend.
Which technically would have required him telling his boyfriend that he was, in fact, a Negaverse Captain, but, well. That was beside the point.
The spiders, thankfully, blessedly, were retreating. Adrien probably should have cared more about where they were going and why they had disappeared, but frankly, all he wanted to do now was go home and cuddle with Yuuri until the sun rose and then cuddle some more. And maybe eat some popcorn.
He reached out and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, Adrien kissing the top of his head. Then he let go, because public displays of affection weren't easy for Yuuri, and beamed at him, in spite of the mess and in spite of the terror of the evening.
"Home," he said firmly. "Let's go home."
-------------------------------
Caspian Lyons-Gallo
He made a sound of pure annoyance as he was unceremoniously set back down, Caspian jerking his clothes back into place. He wanted to yell and scream, wanted to tell Michael to be less of a jackass and more of a husband, but Michael was already stalking angrily towards the exit.
He wasn't just going to leave him here, was he?
Maybe he was. Michael's temper wasn't exactly a pleasant thing. Caspian let out a snarl of impatience and stalked after him with every intent of having his side of things said.
But not here. They could yell at each other in the privacy of their own home.

Lysander looked up when Basil mentioned the sirens and laughed. "Thank god. That means we're safe and hopefully they'll have some first aid supplies." Smiling brightly he tugged Basil out of the way of the people still milling around. "means we can get your leg looked at." He still wasn't all that worried about himself, more concerned with Basil, but it seemed like the other man was going to be worried about him. When he registered that Basil looked a little green he carefully rested his hands on the other man's arms. "You okay? Or do you need to sit down?"

Basil Whybourne
He followed Lysander, feeling a bit weary, a bit overcome by everything - which for Basil was a highly disconcerting and unusual feeling, because he was an extraordinarily levelheaded person under almost all circumstances (except some, it seemed...).
Lysander's hands were on his upper arms to steady him. Basil stared at him with uncharacteristically wide eyes, feeling the pressure of them and the confusing tangle of - something - in his chest.
"No," he said, after a long moment in which he tried to figure everything out and failed. "No, I...I'm fine."

"You sure?" He smiled slightly. "We should see if we can find some first aid anyway. Get us both patched up." Lysander had told himself he'd be good, promised himself that he would stop being such a manwhore, but Basil was adorable and he didn't just want to leave him on his own. It would be rude right? "I'll even let you make sure they take care of my arm properly, hm?"

He wasn't sure. In fact, he wasn't sure of anything anymore, and this was, perhaps, the most frustrating part of it all, because Basil wasn't used to not being sure of things. His life was a very simple, very straightforward one, and that was that.
And now he was confused.
He didn't like being confused.
Basil gave a small, slow nod. "...okay," was finally said, after another pause in which he tried to sort things through and failed, once again. His eyes flickered towards Lysander's injury, concern clearly evident, then looked back up at his face, probably staring too much, but he couldn't help it.
"Yes, that...that works," he managed.
